We ordered 4 items in total. Food was delish. However, too pricey. We were pretty impressed with the level of service provided by Ms. Noreen B from the start until the end of our meal. She tailored our food requests according to my brothers need since he is allergic to sea food. With regards to the food I would give the overall dishes a 4.0 out of 5. Presentation - 4.0 out of 5; Price - 5/5. We ordered the Peach and Passion fruit juice (pretty refreshing with its burst of exotic flavors), Crispy Duck Fried Rice (I can still taste it), Salmon Lemon Sushi and Beef Yakisoba (Noodles). Too pricey for the amount/portion they'd serve which I would stress on. I definitely recommend this place for a date or a special dinner night. The ambiance was warm and welcoming.

Tried the nabe udon, miso cod bap and rainbow roll for lunch. Nice Japanese food, if a little pricey (compared with Australian prices we were used to). Only negative comment is that we had to chase our teas after our food arrived. A lunch contender with the family when in Yas mall.

As soon as you come in you get welcomed by the whole staff and you’re taken to extremely comfortable chairs, the waiter/waitress (in my case, it was Paula) then gets you steamed towels to sanitize your hands before a meal and has a lemon-type smell. The ambience is extremely comfortable and the general atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The dim lights compliment this.
The food tastes extravagant and extremely flavorful, perfectly seasoned and as a frequent visitor I’d definitely recommend the Mushroom Hot Pot, good for multiple guests and tastes authentic and fresh, the mushrooms dont have that “watery” taste and overall its filling.
Prices are a bit expensive but thats expected from a fine-dining restaurant.
Definitely recommend to anyone whos visiting Abu Dhabi and wants an unforgettable meal.

It’s a lil bit pricey restaurant that serve Japanese cuisines but the food was outstanding. Seafood Yakisoba is my fav. We highly recommend it.

I tried the Katsuya Ceviche and it was the best thing I ever tasted. All the fish was absolutely fresh and dressed to perfection. I also tried the Chicken Karaage another great dish. Their Wagyu Ribeye was the most tender meat I ever tasted in the UAE. The Shrimp Tabanyaki was wonderful with all the mushroom. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks. It may be on the higher price side but it is completely worth it 10/10

Only 1 small issues, waiter at the begging was very nice, but at the end I don’t know why he was upset, and even when we requested for the towels at the end he brought it and put it just like that on the tables while at the beginning the way he brought it with sticks and he was much happier.

First of all I liked the ambiance of the restaurant is great however you should go early because it’s quit small and gets crowded quickly. I went with my friend and it was our first time there, we asked for the menu and the server literally took his time explaining almost every single dish to her. He was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the chicken salad which was amazing ! We also had the mushroom pob rice and it’s the best I’ve ever had so far. I also ordered the baked crab hand roll and it was also very yummy.

The sushi was actually quite nice and the hot food was also quite pleasant if not a bit weak in flavor (broth in the ramen). صراحتا الاستقابل رائع الذي يبدأ بكلمه يابانية وتعنيمرحبا بك في ديارك و من ناحية العاملين فالمطعم فكناك الاستقبال الطيب و اعطاء افكار للطلبية و الشرح المفصل للوجبات و كانت paula هي من تقوم بالخدمة المميزة و الشي المميز الذي لدهم هو ديناميت شريم الذي اعتبره الاحلى طعما في العالم و الاطباق الاخرى الراقية و ذات المذاق الجميل الذي تعيشك جو اليابان بطلاقة
Everything was very“ ouchi” which is delicious in japanies , i had a great time with the staff specially megel . Katsuya will be my new fav in yas mall . mushroom rice with beef is so recommended❤️❤️
Delicious food, Paul was a great waiter. He was very accommodating. I have a sesame allergy & Paul returned the sushi dish so that they could remove the sesame. The best waiter I encountered in yas mall.
Recently opened it’s new branch! Abu Dhabj- yas mall. It’s a busy place with Ah-mazing food & a super friendly staff! You can’t go wrong wiyh Katsuya! Definitely coming back
It was so good having Tenji serving us he explained everything and give us good recommendations for dishes, I enjoyed my time their and the food tasted so great!

I came here yesterday for lunch and couldnt resist but to come again today for their Soured Tuna with Japanese Salsa!
The food is great and the prices are affordable and fit the taste of the food.

Japanese fusion. Fresh ingredients and nice service. A bit expensive but if you are craving for sushi and some nice maki rolls, this place would be the right one.
Amazing food and atmosphere, kids loved the food, our waiter Pamu was very welcoming, warm and helpful, he recommended the best dishes in the restaurant.

Today I was in KATSUYA and our waiter Tenji was very professional and the best waiter I had in years.I strongly advice coming to this restaurant as it is the best sushi place I have ever been to and the drinks exceeded my expectations so this is a very good restaurant.
This is my first time trying this 1000000 star restaurant which is in a mall. Yes it's Its in a mall. The attendant who took the order she is always a smiling and happy. This is what makes the restaurants successful. If your lucky Louisa will be your attendant and go with all her recommendations. Best of the best from the second you walk in.
Great vibe .. 5 star experience in a mall .. staff is amazing and the best is Luisa always smiling; she is the best waitress I’ve ever seen in the past 10 years!
The ambience of the restaurant is suitable for families unlike Katsuya’s other branches. The food came in quickly and tasted devine and scrumptious. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming. All of them have a smile on their faces. A special thanks to our waiter, Teneji T, he made our experience unforgettable. One note: we would have wished that the spicy edamame had more sauce and be as flavorful as the branches in Dubai. Definitely recommend: crispy chicken salad, spicy edamame, rock and roll sushi, and for drinks peach and passion fruit mojito. Overall, a pleasant outing.

This restaurant is not too big, I would call it very cozy, great atmosphere during the evening and the food is just extremely tasty!
I could eat any given day their chicken salad an double double roll!
Staff is very helpful and the service is fast!
I never miss a chance to pop in when I am in Yas Mall!

الأكلات يابانيه ولكن بشكل متطور وبشكل مختلف ولذيذ جداً، الخدمة ممتازه وسريعه.😍👏 واجواء المطعم جميلة وكأنه ليس في مركز تجاري.
المطعم مب رخيص، يعتبر غالي ولكن يستحق التجربه 👏

مطعم فاخر من الاخر لعشاق الاكل الاسيوي خاصه الياباني سلطة القبقب المقرمشه لذيذه ولفائف القبقب خياليه وسوشي الذره المقرمشه عجيبه والكالفورنيا لذيييذ جدا حتى النودلز غير المعتاد ماشاء الله الاسعار ترتقي لجودة ولذة الطعم ويستحق العوده مره ثانيه😍

حبيت المطعم من ناحية الخدمة سريعةوجيدة وحبيت الاكل حلو السوشي مالهم لذيذ والشاي الأخضر والأحمر حلو والأسعار غالية شوي لكن المطعم مريح بشكل عام
