I went to this place for breakfast. I ordered acai bowl, avocado toast, omelette,cafe latte. Everything was as per my taste. The food quality was fresh. Açai bowl and avocado toast was really good and I highly recommend it.
Located in Nation tower level 1 facing the beautiful cornich beach and Marina Mall. Outdoor and indoor seating option with vast range of food and beverage option for all occassions.
I love this place. Especially for a late breakfast or early lunch. Delicious sandwiches, meats and a large selection of fresh and healthy juices. The place is clean and kindly.

It was not just dinners but a feel and whole experience dining in there. Lizel and Marichu assisted and served us throughout out and I couldn’t ask for anything more than they did. Marichu was very sweet to offer cookies for my 11 months lo and to take him out so that we could eat peacefully... who helps like this these days.. these things really create a long run impression in a visitor’s mind... everything seemed perfect and promt.. would definitely love to visit there again..

One of the best places un town if you wanna enjoy nice arabic coffee cup with dates. Their breakfast menu is so good and yummy. They have the best dates sticky pudding ever . I love this place - and the stuff are soo good

I went their for breakfast. The outdoor area is nice with seaview. I liked Their egg benedict dish. The other dish is enough for two. It comes with foul,labneh and halloumi cheese. Overall it is recommended.
Excellent all round. Food was just as expected. All well cooked and seasoned. Extremely generous portions, without being too much. All the pastries and breads were interesting and delicious. The cooked breakfast was very well put together, well seasoned and tasty. The cappuccinos were far too moreish and left a lovely chocolaty aftertaste......would definitely recommend Cafe Bateel to anyone and will be ordering from here again for sure!
I love Bateel and their date products. Also, the best thing you can have there is the Bateel date pudding it tastes so special, it’s a satisfying desert, yet not too sweet it gives you a headache.. it’s a beautiful place with beautiful views.

It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Abu Dhabi. I can’t praise the good enough. Just so much, try the date cake with yoghurt ice cream. It’s heavenly. And don’t change the yoghurt for any other ice cream like vanilla. ^^
Delicious food and perfectly prepared .. so rich menue includes more varieties to meet all tastes.. all branches atmosphere is amazing and perfectly designed. delivery is always on time and the food is always so fresh..
Dropped in had a small snack and tea.. lovely ambience, great service and very friendly staff ... very soothing and calm place ... will be back...good to go..!!!

Great food ! Very clean and fresh feeling ingredients ! Not a single thing felt like it was out of a can or a bottle.
Ordered the Chicken Zaatar sandwich, a seasonal pasta , and a Classic Cheesecake.
Everything was very clearing for the palette. Although the Chicken Zaatar sandwich could have used way more quantity of actual Zaatar in the stuffing.
Not up to the bateel standard. Went there today for coffee and sweets after a meeting at Abu Dhabi Global Market with the team. I was so disappointed and embarrassed the waiter was clueless and every-time we asked for something he informed us it was not available, the coffee was very badly made showing poor barista skills which is very unlike bateel as the brand is always associated with high standard. The Nation Tower branch is on a higher level to this one. Go to leopolds, gossip or magnolia dont waste your time, money or calories. Steer away.
Beautiful views and amazing atmosphere for a nice hangout with friends or family. The coffee is really good. It is a bit overpriced though, but I think it rules out for the vibes the place offers.
Bateel has the highest quality food out of all the delivery restaurants! Love it.
Amazing location, very relaxing outdoor seating. The food is good, we had the Bateel breakfast. I suggest adding more salad to the omelet. Pastries are amazing. I liked the almond croissant. Would definitely come back!
Cafe Bateel is a gourmet experience guaranteed to transport you out of this world. The Location in nation towers is perfect ! The view is just dreamy. Loved sitting outside with the cool breeze and watching the little birds being playful. Vegan friendly 👌🏻 I had a date mylk which was delicious , I tried it with the two different options that is available almond mylk and soy mylk however I preferred the soy one for the almond had a more nuttier taste to it. As for the food I started off with salad and soup and ended it with the 🍝 I ordered the Mediterranean Farro soup which true to its name, tasted just like how Mediterranean would taste like, its light and had a drizzle of oil to enhance the flavors . The superfood salad was a burst of flavors, I loved the addition of the pomegranate to give it a zesty feel. All in all it was a heart healthy dine in , which I absolutely loved :)

A very nice location of the cafe, noticed it when walking on corniche because of the nice outside terrace overlooking the area! That’s definitely a big plus. Good selection of refreshing drinks, the ice cream was also delicious and nicely served. The minus would be waiting to be served and also asked for water that we didn’t receive but received it in our bill..but it was corrected fast luckily. Would recommend the place for a nice refreshing drink with a view (:

The mashroom soup was amazing amazing, and the ice cream was also good quality, but we asked for water and they didn't bring it, but they bring it in the Bill, and that was a mistake, but that was a minus.
One of the perfect placed in Abu Dhabi, food ambience happy smiling staff tasty delicious meals.. everything is good there no exceptions at all, way to go bateel you outdid yourself 💋

The quality of the food is excellent. The taste is very delicious in fact one of the best restaurants especially for breakfast and even other meals. The cakes are delicious. The dinning and delivery packing is very good. A must try is the French toast, waffles, lemon grass ice tea and got chocolate. I would recommend from barrel to add maple syrup with the French toast also and more rice dishes.
Being situated in Nation Towers is a certain plus for Cafe Bateel.
It's outdoor seating overlooking the Cornish makes for a wonderful ambience while enjoying a coffee evening with friends.
Their drinks live up to the names.
Haven't tried anything else on the menu.

Quite nice cafe food. The main courses are reasonable and the quality is really good. I have tried many different pasta dishes here. They have a nice labneh pasta. The shrimp risotto is also a nice option if you like spicy food. It was surprisingly packed when I visited it though the seating area is quite huge. The best part is the balsamic vinegar infused with dates placed on every table. Its the perfect start to a nice meal.
We had breakfast here and the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the food options very great with a good taste. We will definitely come back soon
aside from a beautiful and relaxing place , we came here to try their pudding. I love pudding, so I ordered their "pudding" unexpectedly this was the most delicious pudding i ever tasted .
Egg Benedict is always my favorite breakfast and cafe bateel cooked the poached eggs to perfection. Generous portions, nice drinks and sitting area at the terrace make it a perfect spot for breakfast during winter time. You can't go wrong!
Came here for coffee and snacks, and sat outdoors. Thankfully the weather is lovely so it was a nice experience. We sat right by the balcony and had a wonderful view of the water. It was a nice and relaxing experience.
One the best date pudding I ever tried .. the Arabic coffee was also very good. The risotto was average .. the cheese cake was well balanced in taste.. good service & pleasant staff ..

I have been here several times now. Every time I have tried a different dishe. To start with, all their chocolate related dishes is a must try as their chocolates is one of the finest. Thus, all their cakes are to die for so give any of it a try and you will enjoy it. For savory, I have tried several dishes but the mushroom soup was my favorite.
Tucked into a corner, they really have a wonderful terrace. The arabic coffee is a must for me after a few savoury light bites. Great food, great views and great service.
Went yesterday planning to have lunch,however menu is limited couldn't find anything that will make us happy. Anyhow we decided to stay and have coffee and enjoy the view. Their crockery for serving coffee is beautiful, and coffee was nice. Service wise, they are understaffed, however staff is nice and polite.

Literally the best French toast I had in the whole of the Emirates, I'm not exaggerating!! So moist, so crunchy and so buttery! Divine. The place has a great view of the sea, my fav Bateel branch. Also the egg Benedict, comes with the Yummiest asparagus, so so good.

One of the best places to get dates and enjoy a qahwa. Their goodie bags are very attractive and perfect to please the one who you want to gift.
During Ramadan or Eid their goodie bags are definitely a stand out gift.
you could customize your bag with dates/ cookies/ chocolate/ coffee powder/ honey/ olive oil/ jams/ sparkling date drink etc.
with such options one would definitely enjoying picking their own goodie bag.
Their food is nice and most of the time their staff is friendly. However they need to add kids menu and add more new varieties to their menu.
Located in The Galleria Mall, Al Maryah Island. The interiors are Greenish with An Emarati Magic. Had gone for tea/coffee break.
Hospitality and Service - Very Good.
Ordered Panini Sandwich which was healthy and fresh vegetables. For drinks ordered Hot chocolate and Cappuccino. Hot Chocolate was more milky then choco in content but the caramel drizzle on top gave the taste kick. Cappuccino loved the whipped cream topping and brewed coffee.

Looking for amazing food, great coffee, nice atmoshphere, good service bateel is the place!! Relaxing and a wonderful view on the capital's corniche!!
I am pretty sure that they deserve a 4 rating marque, as the food is nice, the coffees better that most other places I go for my daily fix, presentation is on Okay side, the portions are small and this can mean, one of two bad practise. The first one is that their desserts are very good and they want you to still have some room for them !!!
And the second is all about money making tactic, the food is good, but the portions are small, and quite costy, and then, your are dying for a dessert to calm your hunger, the bill is getting more heavy and you still go to KFC, just a few hours after you dinner !!!

I've tried multiple dishes from here: salmon, rigatoni arabiatta, risotto etc.
I always look forward to the bread that they serve before the main dishes and I really enjoy their food and recipes. Unfortunately they've shrunk their portions so their mains only fill up half the plate now.
Their kholas dates are incredible, they have a caramel-like flavor to them
Cafe Bateel, what can I say this place will make an addict out of you once you try their toffee pudding you will be coming back for more. Their Arabic coffee is a beautiful marriage with this dessert. If you're feeling down this dessert is sure to raise your spirits. As for their food options their aren't large but sure are delicious non the less especially the scallops, their lamb couscous and pasta dishes are creamy and good. The only dish I warn against is the cold lentil dish. As for their staff always helpful and friendly and they got wifi.

I had the slow braised beef cheeks with potatoes and carrots... A good portion serving to give you complete satisfaction..
We tried their sticky toffee pudding for oue desserts... I likes de cake but the yogurt ice cream dint work for me...
Loved their sparkling pomegranate drink.. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the busiest restaurants at lunch time in Nation Towers. Nice style & beautiful view.
Whenever I have lunch in this Mall, and I am in a sweet mood I either end up here or in Godiva. Bateel has excellent sweets. They also serve good tea and coffee. I love their asparagus soup and their grilled salmon, and I occasionnaly I visit for breakfast.
One of the best Tomato soup we have tasted was from here and a lovely place with good parking. They have some wonderfully cooked meals like Grilled Salmon, Duck Leg, Pasta and they serve one of the best variety breads. 😍. A regular place for us.
Bateel is usually a favorite place to go to because of the quality of food. In my recent visit to Nation Tower branch I tried their new SeaBass Tagine from the seasonal menu along with asparagus soup (a favorite). Food was very good , but the service wasn't as good as usual.
We had dinner at Cafe Bateel. The outdoor seating area is quite nice and staff are friendly and attentive. We had the old fashioned chicken soup, confit lamb and chocolate cake. The soup was too creamy for my palate. The lamb was extremely well-cooked and tasted quite good. Chocolate cake was quite nice as well. Portion sizes are quite small and if you have a good appetite then the main course feels like a drop of water in the sea. In all other aspects its a must visit place.
It's been a long time coming for this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating and the coffee was surprisingly good! Friends ordered a spinach and shrimp salad and a chicken salad - both were great. Keep it up guys!
Had b'fast at the Nations Tower outlet; as Im very regular at the Sowwah Square. Like the seating in the balcony... with the good climate and a good chat over realy good food makes a good start.

I visited Cafe Bateel twice on the same day. So, this review is a combination of both.
My first visit was in the afternoon when I went there to have desserts, as I already had a big meal just before. Bateel Cafe has an indoor as well as outdoor dining space. Obviously I sat inside, grrr... the weather! Had I sat outside, I would be facing the sea. Sigh...maybe in the winter. They had a number of desserts. I was amazed at the cakes that were there on display and it really took us sometime to decide. Finally, we ordered a sticky date pudding and a molten chocolate cake. Both the desserts were okay. Not the best that we've tasted but not bad too. Definitely affordable.
In the evening, we tried out two different kinds of pastas - prawn castellane and chicken fusilli. The first thing they offered us was olive oil, balsamic vinegar and bread. I'm glad that I decided to eat the bread because that balsamic vinegar was pure perfection. Its a 6 year old grape vinegar with dates. And bread dipped in it tasted amazing. I loved both our pastas too. I know, it's strange that I just fell in love with pasta from a date shop, but really the pastas were better than the desserts.
The service was great too. Maybe next time, a different pasta and cake perhaps?
They serve really good food, and have wide selection of desserts. A must try is their debs latte. In good weather the outdoor seating area is cool with views of the beach.
These guys serve the best coffee in the town , location is amazing specially when you hate your air condition . Greek salad is a must try followed by cheese cake .
I really like this place. The food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. They have excellent coffee and very good desert. My favorite at Bateel is the mille feuille ! Yumm . The only thing is that portions are small, Specially the eggs. The omelets come with little greens on the side and nothing else.
Everytime i walk passed this place regardless of the location, their unique cakes make my sweet tooth ache.
Got 5 of them to share with my bro and two other cousins. Mixed reviews on who liked what but heres what i thought.
These cakes are awesome. You can immediately tell by the first bite that these were well thought of and with a quality cake lover in mind.
Being a chocolate lover my top three would have to be the bottom right cake (in photo), top right in second and middle left in third. By no means were the other two bad, its just my preference of flavours. Also they were all surprisingly light.
However; its only this branch that have the bottom right cake which is slightly annoying but im reviewing solely on the desserts and these cakes are excellent. Try and see. Couldnt recommend them any more.

Gonna be one of my regular spots for sure.
I've only ever had their hot drinks and muffins on a couple of occasions. Both are fairly decent, and the white chocolate mocha i tried once was especially memorable.More than anything else, the view from their terrace/balcony and lovely breeze (at the right time of year) will keep me coming back.they also play some decent ambient/lounge tunes most of the time, and that's certainly not something i'll complain about
UPDATE: the eggs shakshouka here is really among the best versions of this dish in Abu Dhabi, and makes for a great heavy breakfast for 1, or a lighter one for 2 diners sharing. The assortment of hot breads served alongside definitely does justice to the meal, and do NOT forget to try them with bateel's signature dates infused vinegar! There's nothing like it elsewhere to be honest, and almost single handedly assures Bateel of my repeated patronage !

I decided to give cafe bateel a 4 because of the date that accompanied my Cafe Carmel. The coffee was good but fairly average. The date was the best date I've ever tasted. My wife had an iced green tea with mint and lemon. She asked for it unsweetened but brought it sweetened anyways. Although they couldn't get the order right, it was still delicious.
They were also a little under staffed and it took a while to get someone's attention to get our check, but that can be forgivable.
Sitting on the balcony overlooking the corniche made it more relaxing which made up for the slow service. We would still come back.

My wife and I came back for a brunch on Friday and were very impressed. I had two fried eggs with mushrooms and turkey bacon. I asked for the eggs over medium and they did a perfect job. That's rarely seen.
My wife had an omelet made with eggs whites and mushrooms and she said it was very good and simple and would recommend it to people who like simple yet delicious food.
On a side note. I would also have to say their americano is one of the best I've had in Abu Dhabi. It's mellow with a low acidity.
This brings my rating up half a point from my previous rating.

I have been looking for caffe that has an outside view for the sea/corniche and i finally found the place ( caffe bateel ), the view is awesome you can see the sea, the corniche, the marina mall, and the lulu island. The inside/outside seatings are very relaxing and gets you in the view mood. I didnt try the food but i ordered coffe and croissant. One thing made my day the coffe price is 18 dhs. And the croissant is 10 dhs. Which in total 28 but i was shocked with the bill pointing 20 dhs. Only, i asked why? They said we have an offer from sunday to thursday 8a.m. To 11a.m. Any coffe with any pastery for only 20 dhs.
If you are a coffee lover with a sweet tooth AND appreciate a magnificent view of our beloved Abu Dhabi then Cafe Bateel, Nation Towers is the place for you!
I have been exploring the idea of having caffe Affagato for quite some time and the day finally came to see what all the fuss was about. People, let me tell you that it blew me away and this is coming from a tea person (yes I heart my tea!). It is basically a scoop of home made vanilla ice cream in a glass mug with espresso poured on top. You visually see the pouring process done by the kind waiter or you could experience the joy of pouring it yourself. I would opt for the latter option on my next visit! (Tip: stir with your spoon before your 1st sip)
