Being a newly opened place we visited here for late breakfast/ brunch. The place not only pleasantly surprised us but blew us away.
Definitely worth a visit and many more as the food is craftfully prepared and artistically presented.
Loved the all day breakfast concept and yes you can have breakfast at midnight as well

Professional, friendly and kind staff. A hard mixture to find now a days in one place. The food and sweets are above average, made to order. Drinks, whether hot or cold its done with lots of love. I passed by this place as I found it while having a walk, and it was very early in the morning.
I had French breakfast and my friend had the Mexican omelette. The food looked great when presented, and the taste was even greater. It's a small place that reminds me with the small cafes in the corners of the streets in Europe. Amazing.
Staff was really friendly and attending.
Going back again for sure to grab some of those hot fresh Stroopwafels 😍.
I discovered this place by mistake on zomato and decided to give it a shot after checking out their menu. I ordered the Mexican eggs yesterday which were excellent. I went ahead and ordered the oven baked chicken today and that was also excellent. If you’re watching your weight and you want a healthy oven baked chicken dish, I highly recommend you try it. I’ll be ordering from this place again soon.
We tried having breakfast here. Food was nice. They have lots to offer according to your dietary preference. Staffs are friendly. Place has warm and positive ambiance. Must try.

Stroopwafel is my all time favorite quality, best price and healthy options food place in Abu Dhabi (: i’m avocado addict and café offers wide range of avocado options especially for breakfast! Avocado toast, omelette with avocado, guacamole salad...mmmmmmm.... always fresh and always healthy! The Granola for breakfast is also on of my favorite options..great load of fruits and dates! U can feel your body getting best nutrition and energy from that bowl of happiness! (: 💕 The coffee is delicious, barista already knows my preferences so i’m sure i’ll always get what I desire (: Guys working there are always smiling, positive and polite!
The sad thing is that the place is suffering now from the construction works just next to it so the road is blocked and the terrace is surrounded by the fence :( but I really hope this will be improved soon cause parking is a suffer! But as the guys explained in the cafe, the main focus now is on orders - that u can always get fast and fresh! Been there- done that ✅

The moment you step into this little cafe, you get swayed into the dutch ambience. The decor is simple yet elegant. We have tried their American Breakfast and the Brother's Burger and would definately recommend people to try it in the early hours.
Seating space is limited, however they have free wifi and always offer a complimentory waffle after food.

Mama Mia ! Mama Mia ! I had an amazing experience today in this little cafe. The construction outside was a minus, but its out of their hands, alot of parking behind the building were available. The Mexican omelets was super nice and you could taste the freshness of the veggies stuffed inside it and they serve coffee in the real Italian way in a 7oz cup with a Stroopwafel cookie. Was tasty and delicious. Staff was very friendly and the place is neat.

This cafe is a nice rendezvous. Though its tiny but it has a very good vibe inside. From the simple and ordinary look of the establishment outside to its venetian touch inside, you will be amazed. The motif of gold and black compliments the feel. Their staffs are attentive and approachable. We ordered a breakfast menu and I like their combinations of food. They taste very good too. The price is average and for me its reasonable.
Really good food. Had one bad experience where delivery guy showed up without almost all of my order and had to go again, but I have ordered from them many times and overall they have been very quick, especially compared to other places.

Go mexican! Go mexican egg and you will not regret it!!! The service is really really good, the ambiance as well... the salsa songs make you want to dance while eating!! Ok i admit the location is not that nice, but value for money is great.

Ordered oriental breakfast was was good but the size of hallomi was big. The Avocado toast was good also, the coffee was hot and tasty but the packaging was wet with coffee, but it was hot which is good. One thing that we did not like, the restaurant called and said that the driver is waiting down from 20min!! But no body call. Next time I ordered and it was everything fine and their dutch waffle so nice and must try.

It’s not everyday you find a cozy nook in the city. Abu Dhabi’s main island is a grid of steel and cement claustrophobia. Having a bowl of steaming falafel means sitting in a restaurant shrouded in kitchen fumes with a soundtrack of whirring AC’s. Personal space and unmolested olfactories? That’s Etihad Towers, not Electra Street. But then, maybe you want a restaurant that doesn’t veil a calculated brand with a copy-and-paste concept and cut-and-dried décor. These places might escape the city’s hustle and bustle, but they have little to offer in way of authenticity.

One of the best hidden coffee shops in Abu Dhabi. They serve fresh healthy food while maintaining good taste and high quality. Food is served in unique way. I love how the Guacamole is served. The main course is served qith fresh vegetables and side. I love the international breakfast from each country and the ways of preparing the eggs. The staff are friendly and attentive most of time. The decorations are very elegant and cozy. I love the lights and the pictures in golden frames look very elegant. The coffee is strong from Lavazza. The crepes are rich with nutella and overall very good price value.
Its strange how Quick they delivered my breakfast this morning !! The Taste, flavours and freshness of the food was outstanding .. Even the gentleman who delivered the breakfast had a perfect tone and great smile that you would expect to be greeted with early in the morning. Great Job Guys !! On Top of my list now ..
This is one of my favorite near by cafes. I have tried it for the first time one day before Ramadan and it was quite busy that the food service was very bad yet very delicious. I was unlucky to get some ready made stuff but the manager refused to allow me to pay. Their signature dish waffles are to die for. I came several times here and would difentialty come again.
Passed by this little cafe one day and got attracted by the interiors, so decided to pay it a visit. Today I tried it finally, and I didn't regret a moment spent there. The food was made freshly per the order , that's why it might take a bit longer than other places, but then you realize and appreciate the taste of the food. They have a variety of different dishes for breakfast, they have their healthy options as snacks or meals, the coffee is organic, the boys working there are friendly to the max. You feel like you're in one of these small cafes in the corners in the streets of Amsterdam. The surprise for me was the "Stroopwafel" and how good it tasted, its no difference from the ones you buy in Holland fresh from the open market.
I recommend it to friends and everyone else.

The first time I tried to order here, the order got cancelled since there was a delivery issue. The next day I tried and the order went through. The order was delivered to me for free!! It was a great gesture to receive an order of AED 75.00 for free and along with it some delicious complimentary stroopwafels. The free stuff aside the food quality was excellent. Nice to try some different dutch dishes in Abu Dhabi. Everything tasted freshly baked. Its also decently priced for the sets.
It was my first time to order from Stroopwafel Café and they did not disappoint. The pancakes I ordered arrived still a bit warm. I would suggest to pack the syrup separately because the pancakes were too drenched in syrup when I got them.
I've been 3 times already on this café, nice place and cozy atmosphere, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, they pay attention to the freshness, coffee is well made, and I love what they call Stroopwafel, it's crusty enough with melted caramel, very good finding!
The best breakfast offer I've seen so far: tasty, nutritious, nicely served and reasonably priced. Also I am very pleased to see dutch stroopwafels in the menu, but I find them a little bit expensive (but maybe wafels are baked directly by cafe, who knows).
Lovely coffee and delicious warm stroopwaffles - enjoyed a quick visit here this afternoon and may well go back... Friendly service, nice atmosphere.

I found this place on Zomato and had to try it, as their menu looked enticing.
When I walked into the venue, I thought it was a nice spot. It is nicely decorated and has a comfy, relaxed ambience. There were two staff members taking orders and making the food. I thought it was an intimate way of doing things and it was handy because they could answer any questions I had about the food preparation easily.
The coffee comes with a mini stroopwafel and wow it exceeded my expectations. It was warm with melted caramel inside, which was just mouthwatering and a perfect compliment to the coffee. I also had an avocado juice, which I must say I gulped down. I asked what was inside it before ordering and I was told it was avo and water but I could definitely taste sugar in there. I asked for health reasons, but I guess it was worth it. It tasted really good and the texture was perfect.
I then had a vegetable sandwich with potato wedges. The sauce on the side was different but soooo tasty it made me want more and more. The wedges were beautifully seasoned and the sandwich was tasty as well and nicely flavoured. I added some of the side sauce to the sandwich to make up for a little dryness but once again I'm not complaining, because the sandwich was healthy and I'm glad it wasn't dripping in sauce. The side sauce I could taste was fresh and healthy as well.
Overall I'd say this place is unique in the way it's run and it works. You can tell that there is attention to detail. I like it a lot and would certainly recommend. I'll be back for a big stroopwafel someday - I've been dreaming of it!

Lovely food! Ordered the French breakfast and in spite of being a big breakfast person, I couldn't finish all of it. Big thumbs up for timely service and bringing everything when it was still hot. The omelette was my favorite of the bunch. The French toast was nothing special. Overall though, it was a lovely breakfast that two people could easily share! Great coffee as well.
Loved the place small and cozy for a quick breakfast this place is a good option, ordered granola and waffle tasted pretty good not so bad, price is ok not bad.

Went with my partner for lunch today and I had the roast beef sandwich, it was very nice with Dutch potatoes on the side. I had an Americano to drink and I really enjoyed the fact they use a local coffee supplier called Raw. The interior is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Only downside is the fact that there is no managers presents in the cafe.

We were hungry when we go to Stroopwafel...so what we ordered was not enough. But the food was delicious. Bit of a shame that they didn't have the bagel options available. But, avocado and eggs was a good choice on the menu. Maybe few flakes of chilli salt on it would heighten the taste. The American breakfast was delicious...nice to see bacon and sausage that I was not like what we find on every American breakfast on the menu of every cafe in AD. Garlic butter bread was a nice addition to the breakfast plate
The Stroopwafel was delicious. We only has a small portion that came with the American breakfast but that was one tasty waffle.
Been dining at stroopwafel for a while now, since inception i would say! These guys excel in the two areas that any restaurant should... customer service and quality.
The food has good seasoning, which is something i always look for, and food made to order is another plus point.
So yes, there is always something to improve on too, and my suggestion would be thr menu - include more specials, also some good wraps!

This was very good to be honest. Took the american breakfast, eggs cooked perfectly, turkey strips cooked perfectly, mushroom sauce on the side very good nad the garlic toasted bread is an excellent addition. The stroopwafel is AMAZING! New addiction. Crispy and chewy and not too sweet with the right amount of cinnamon. Yum.
Been here for a Sunday Brunch last week. The Cafe is small but cozy on the other hand. Interiors well done with the black walls and big Golden frames. Walked into this café on a lazy Friday afternoon for brunch. The space is small and homely, and every element feels intentional. I loved the big golden frames hanging on the wall painted black and the big glass walls that let in lots of light. Their menu has it all, around the world-all day breakfast, sandwiches, bagels, fresh salads. All in all, they offer high quality food accompanied by fine service in an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere. Plus, to entertain you there is slow but upbeat music playing in the background and free Wi-Fi, lots of books and magazines are also placed to which you can help yourself.
As the name suggests, they specialize in making STROOPWAFEL'S, an Amsterdam favorite; this one is a hidden gem in khalidiya street next to NBAD.
The cafe has got a refreshing ambience, menu spans over some good breakfast options. We went for a quick bite so opted for a zatar croissant, black coffee and a stroopwafel.
Croissant was usual as it should be, black coffee cant go wrong but the stroopwafel was the biggie.. filled with caramel-cinnamon sauce. It was worth the money.
Although the service wasnt upto the mark, maybe they were understaffed. But the owner is friendly and is courteous enough to attend to each customer.
Very cosy, elegant and mood lefting, food here is a price of art, this time, means my wife tried both French and Dutch Breakfast, they where nothing less than perfect, the cosine was out of blue cheese for the French Breakfast, but the waiter was too polite and asked to change it to a different kind of cheese, and he did a very tasty choice, what I would suggest is two things actuality: first: try adding any kind of meat like turkey or sausage to the French Breakfast, and the second would be to increase the stroopwafel portion size beacause anyone would like to have more bites of heaven 😋

Stroopwafel in khalidiya is a hidden gem,no doubt.The restaurant is so beautifully decorated, with such wonderful ambiance , that you feel like being there for a long time.
The restaurants serves limited dishes but with variety and maintains high importance on the quality of the dish they serve.
We placed our order for Bacon and egg toast cup, the American breakfast, stroopwafel and a honey cake as our dessert.
American breakfast is served with some good sausages , turkey ham and mushroom sauce ,but the hero ingredient (eggs) was over cooked, which I feel is the norm here as the eggs in the toast cup too were over cooked , which really dint create any kind of magic, had it been soft or semi, it would have been just perfect.
Honey cake was decent ,and the stroopwafels were definitely nice , especially the one with the cinnamon .
Overall package of the place is decent , great place ,decent pricing ,the food is not the best you can find nor is it unique in anyways that will make you crave for it but it is definitely worth a try for the wonderful outlook thy provide you.
I’ve read good reviews from Best Bites Abu Dhabi FB page so we went last Friday for breakfast. We’ve ordered 3 American and 1 French breakfast. We also tasted their famous Dutch stroopwafel.
Ambiance and Service is perfect our server is very helpful and accommodating. Food was tasty and delish. Love their coffee and OJ too. The only thing I’m not happy with is the serving portion is quite small for the price comparing to other cafes/resto around the city.

Stroopwafel Cafe is a nice place for brunch and dinner. A little bit challenging to find as it is located at the backside of the main road, but a visit is really worth it. Their juicy steak is the best!! Fresh rib-eye steak cooked into perfection paired with scrumptious mashed potato will keep you coming back, plus it is affordable! The staffs are really friendly and the ambiance is very home-y.
Also, there is an array of great books you can read while you wait for your food!
To get impressed, it's not only how your food tastes but how you feel it; otherwise roadside hawkers would've asked for whopping prices. Well very few restaurants are able to cater both aspect with reasonable price. By trying this hidden gem, I'm sure I dun have to pay a whopping price or have to go a far from my home.
Ambiance: the place is small but big enough to accommodate around 10 set of customers. It is equipped with complimentary WiFi as a courtesy. The cafe gives a touch of some Danish cafe. Even the hospitality was filled with gratitude and respect and made me feel completely comfortable.
Food: the food was worth it's price. It might be a bit expensive compared to mainstream fast food joints but it was worth the money they asked. They changed the cliche side of Potato french fries to Dutch roasted potatoes that was much more yummier.
All you need on a Friday is a breakfast at 4 pm. Stroopwafel was a surprise. I called before heading out so luckily no crowd for us. We were 4 and ordered each of their breakfasts. French, Dutch, English and oriental. I went for the oriental cz i needed a little more food than usual. It came with foul, labneh, hummus, halloumi, fried egg and arabic bread. Everything was fresh. The pictures say a lot and i enjoyed every bit of my meal. The coffee was beautiful.
The stroopwafel itself was yum. People who don't like caramel or sweets in general might not like it.

Groupon voucher two for 39aed. Went on a friday morning 10am. A small place to accommodate 20 people. Place was full not sure if it is because it was friday or because of the groupon promo. 3 Staff were busy they are the ones responsible for taking order food prep, and serving but they notice you when you enter the shop and greet you. They tried too attend to you as fast as they could. Place has wooden furniture, wooden gold picture frames, and chandeliers. Instrumental acoustic light jazz music. The Bar and Kitchen is open type. You can see them prepare your food. The price is relatively okay for the food serving. We ordered the all day breakfast American and Dutch. Although the serving was different from the pictures on zomato it was just enough to fill our stomach, not heavy nor light. Food was good, not salty or bland. The coffee that comes with the breakfast was black i don't know if they give milk. Sugar, salt and pepper are on the table. The waffle we got was the small size maybe because it was from groupon voucher. The waffle filling taste like apple cinnamon with just the right amount of flavour and sweetness. Our coffee and waffle got delayed but it was fine. We wanted to stay and relax for a little bit longer.

An absolute find this! Stroopwafel is perhaps in the most unassuming of locations for its class of eatery, and for that reason alone I kept putting it off for a while.. Certainly shouldn't have!
Despite not being a massive space, it's very cleverly designed and decorated, lending it a sophisticated and airy ambience. I had breakfast here recently, and what a pleasure it was - the food was all exactly as described on the menu, and the ever so kind staff were happy to make amendments to standard offerings to cater to my tastes. Not only did the breakfast look rather stunning, it tasted exactly as such too 👌
All the food (and drink!) you see in the attached pics, totalled to AED 37 - a steal by Abu Dhabi's rather absurd standards, whereby AED 20 for a latte is considered reasonable.
The stroopwafels, after which the cafe is named, were also delightful to say the least - They're made fresh to order(!), and go exceptionally well with any coffee of choice.
Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced, and I look forward to returning here for lunch and dinner too - or might just order the breakfast again, since they serve it all day! Recommended

Cosy place to have early breakfast or late dinner, the atmosphere is great with friendly staff around you, I have enjoyed all my experiences so far.

This is a coffee shop that you wouldn't notice unless you go about that area. My husband had visited this place earlier and had got the Dutch Stroopwafel as parcel.And it tasted really nice. We visited this place during the weekend early evening for coffee. We tried their Bulletproof Coffee, yes the name is fancy quite a strong coffee. I tried their Avocado and Date Shake it wasn't very sweet which was a good thing but the avocado taste was more dominant and could get the dates as tiny bites. Good if you want to try something healthy and different. Along with this we ordered the Dutch Stroopwafel and the Macrobites.The Macrobites didn't appeal to me much it tastes like oreo cookies coated by crepe and each one topped with jam, chocolate sauce, etc. But guess kids would love this one. I'm yet to try their all day breakfast menu they have english, french, dutch, oriental breakfast. So probably will drop by some weekend for breakfast there.
A cafe tucked inside... A bit hard to notice. A menu with decent selections for a small place. Tried the American breakfast which was filling and good. The stroopwafel is nice and fresh but I would just have one. Gourmet hot chocolate a must try. Friendly staff. But I think they should tint the Windows ...not a very good view outside.
Cozy atmosphere, big portions of food, friendly stuff. My favourites - club sandwhich, breakfast granola, mama's burger. Their baked dutch potatoes with the speciality souce are amazing!
Wonderful place ,nice staff ,stil the taste of delicious caramel cookie this taste called atroopwafel this invention that is done by the dutch , really keep up the good work.
