A hidden gem located in Khalidiya, found this place very cute with cosy interiors. Found some really pretty cupcakes lined up in display as soon I entered. I wanted to try out their cake jars (there are 6of them)- so ended up getting a ras malai jar and white chocolate kunafa.
First of all the packaging was too cute and creative, and it comes with a lovely wooden spoon.
Ras malai cake did complete justice to its name, u could feel the desserts taste along with spongy cake layered in between. Full marks!
White chocolate kunafa was basically a layered jar with a perfectly textured white chocolate which had a thick layer of kunafa in between.
Taste was quite good, not disappointing at all. But too pricey for a little jar. They dont offer any special discounts if you buy 3-5-7 pieces of it, discount is offered on more than 50 pieces only.
Will not be visiting so frequently perhaps once in a while when my tastebuds tell me to ;)
PS: This place is meant for take away, they just have one table and chair.

The red velvet one was my favorite. But I am not sure if I will come back again.
A Nice and Cozy shop , with only one table and 2 chairs so I would advice if you are planning on sitting in for drinks and sweets, to just go in pairs (I'm not quite sure if they accommodate more than 2 ppl). I love the selection of cupcakes because it offers variety and uniqueness such as the kunafah cupcake which I have yet to try!
Had a few of the cupcakes which were nice but in my opinion rather overpriced. After being told that 6 cupcakes were 96AED I had really high expectations which weren't really met.
They always go above and beyond when I order any customized cake ! They all look too beautiful to eat 😍 and the flavor is amazing , I love the Oreo cake
If you are a sweet tooth person, don't miss their Oreo Chocolate & Red Velvet cup cakes. I wished every bit of those mini ones lasted longer, the frosting was rich with flavors and the cup cake was fluffy and amazingly delicious. I announce that their cup cakes became my favorite in Abu Dhabi so far.
I always had this place in my list... Decided to check it out cuz of a very yummy profile on instagram...
I tried my fav flavor Red velvet and chocolate cookie dough with white chocolate frosting...
Both were good enough...
Even thou the have a pretty fancy packings for take away.. As i chose to have it on the one n only table there.. I was served the cupcakes on tissues which was not very impressive.. But the cupcakes managed to get me out that disappointment..
I visited Maison Sucre probably after a year. They've been many bake shops opening up lately, so I sort of left it at a corner. But when I had a sugar craving a few days ago and was around the area, I thought I'd drop by.
Its a lovely little place selling cakes, cake pops, cookies , etc. I decided to order a chocolate cupcake with nutella and the hubs decided the vanilla cupcake with vanillla bean icing. The base of the cake was okay. However, the icing was a bit too sweet and not smooth. Now, if I've to compare it with the other cupcake shops that have opened up recently, the cakes here are a bit pricey too. Most of the places sell really good cupcakes for AED 14, whereas Maison Sucre sells them for AED 16.
I was driving in the area when I saw this charming shp. I decided to give it a try. The decor is charming! I ordered red velvet, kunafah, sticky dates and peanut cupcakes.
I usually fall for red velvet, yet I am a bit picky on this flavor. Here I preferred the kunafah, it reminded me of Ramadan. The peanut cupcake was also good.
I loved the cake from the inside. I loved the ombré. But from the outside the icing was a little messy. The cake was delicious and overall the cake was good.
Our friend priyanka introduced this place to us. In the past we have tried many different red velvet cupcakes all over Abu Dhabi, but nothing can beat Maison Sucre!!!
They have always got it perfect although we have seen the price rising and quantity reducing.

If you have a sweet tooth and you're not watching it then I suggest you try this place sweets ! I also love their takeout boxes wrapped with pink ribbons "perfecting their serving"

Going with the current rage of customised cakes for special occasions, I went on a hunt for places that make fancy cakes for my parents' anniversary. I happened to pass by Maison Sucre on Khalidiya Street and thought about giving it a try.
The place is beautifully decorated with colourful and delicate ceramic dolls and other artefacts along with beautifully decorated cupcakes. A kind lady at the counter was more than accommodating when I told her of my needs and immediately fetched a catalogue showing all the different types of cake designs they had.
The good thing about the place is they had beautiful designs for all price ranges and I found one that fit my budget well. I ordered a couple Chocolate, Vanilla and Red Velvet. The decoration and the cupcakes looked absolutely brilliant, but sadly, the good stopped there. The fondant was too sweet and the silver balls used for decoration were way too hard. The cakes weren't as moist as I'd have liked them, but the flavour was decent.
Overall, it's a place that would attract you if you're a cake lover, but from personal experience, don't try anything with fondant on it.
Maison Sucre has the best desserts in the UAE! I love their nutella, oreo and red velvet flavors. They also do an exceptional job at creating bespoke cakes and cookies and the staff is super friendly . I like everything from their cupcakes to their macaroons and mini desserts, especially their presentation is exceptional. Prices are affordable especially for the quality you are receiving, in relative terms to how expensive other sweet shops price their items and the quality isn't that great. I always visit the shop for my daily fix as well as for any special occasion When I compare Maison Sucre's products to the other stores in the UAE not even Abu Dhabi, they are at the top of my list.

Ordered a 3.5 kg classic cake. We selected them because the rate was so reasonable. But let me tell you. It was amazing. We had a bad experience from Mongolia bakery but this cake was moist fresh, perfectly sweet ( not too sweet). Every one in the party loved it. Never I am gonna order from anyone else.

Bought cupcakes today. Will be back for more. So fresh and absolutely a taste delight! The cake was fresh and the icing was devine! So nice to have this place serving fresh, tasty bakery goods. Thank you!
