I love the place. Delicious food, wonderful ambience and one of the best sheesha’s in Dubai. Khan Murjan is located in wafi mall. It is a true gem when it comes to delicious arabic food and live music. I am here at least once in Ramadan. The vibe of the place is really good and if you love sheesha then you need to try it out. My favourites are hummus, grills and their spicy potatoes
Best biriyani I have had in dubai !!!!
Awesome restaurant with a lovely middle Eastern decor, the service is very good, very friendly staff, the chef too is friendly and welcoming!
And the biriyani is just awesome with perfectly flavored nuts and raisins. The only downside I found was the restaurant is a bit too pricey. But it’s a must visit considering the taste of food, ambience and service!.
Great Arabic restaurant serving some home cooked specialties which you do not usually find in other Lebanese restaurants. There is a live band playing Arabic music in the evenings. It is recommended to get there early as some popular dishes like Shish Barak sell out quickly. Shisha is available. Check out the unique feature of sitting under an open roof even in the midst of summer.
We really like this place for its open air settings and great service which are accompanied by great sheesha. Its Turkish style place and one can actually feel the vibes of Turkey with the live music, sheesha, and opera air seating.
A traditional middle eastern dishes with a spacious family friendly marbled courtyard and mouth watering food.
1. Fast & Efficient service: 5/5 (the food was prepared on time, and the waiters were friendly and welcoming)
2. Quality of food: 5/5 ( we ordered hummus, mtabal, mixed grill, taboleh, fatoush, battata harra , Kebbeh and vine leaves) everything was very delicious and mouth watering.
3. Cleanliness/space: 5/5 (the place is spacious and spotless, family friendly and they have both smoking and non smoking area)
4. Price: 3/5 ( the price is similar to other outlets serving same type of food, they accept essad card which is a bonus)
Went here for the second time for a business dinner - it's a nice place, located inside a mall but with an open space, modeled after a traditional arabic courtyard, where the tables are placed. Friendly service and good food - don't expect culinary highlights, but it's good, solid arabic food.
Their food is splendid. The ambience is super good, it's an open air cozy restaurant. They have so much variety of food, you'll have to visit several times to be able to try it all. They have so many Middle Eastern cuisines. Their desserts are freshly made and delicious. The sheesha is very smooth. The staff is friendly and quick and service is quite good as well. Definitely a must try.
I would really recommend this place for the experience, especially if you have guests visiting and would like to have them eat some authentic middle eastern delicacies. The juices are a must - so fresh and sweet. Also try the salads, they’re really nice and fresh. The wait staff are really nice and attentive too.
Delicious food, and probably the most stunning ambience if you’re looking for an Arabic scene since it’s set in a stunning courtyard. Our staple dishes at this restaurant are the Moussaka, Laban al khan, saaj manakesh with muhadara and cheese, batata hara, their koshri is pretty good too. Delicious fresh juices if you’re into it! Oh and their Iranian bread is great.
Great ambience and delicious food. Actually gives a very traditional vibe when dining in there. Cold Mezzeh were good and kebabs were succulent, the hot breads served were a treat. Shisha was ok and nothing great as compared to other elements in there. Felt it very pricey for food and shisha.
Couple of days back I visited WAFI Mall for an event and during lunch break I couldn’t decide where to go as they have many good restaurants. Finally decided on Khan Murjan Restaurant situated in the heart of the exotic Khan Murjan Souk inside the mall. Khan Murjan Souk is a spectacular and authentic Arabian souk that has a settings of a 14th century souk. Khan Murjan Souk has shops and vendors from different parts of the Arab world and I felt like I was transported to a different era.
Came here last night with family for dinner, and it was the first time, I came...Really amazing service and food, and very nice ambiance. The dinner was worth it
I went there with my two friends. They recommended this place to me, and i must say they were right about the place. I loved the ambiance, food, decor everything about this place. I got a real Arabic feel there. We ordered many things, but my favourite was Potato Hara, and the bread which was served with Hummus. We also ordered shisha which was good. I would recommend to visit the place in night. This place is a bit expensive, so i would recommend to go only on special occasion.
I loved the place, i will go again for sure.
In love with Arabian nights, this might be a good spot for you.
Its the only place in dubai where you can still experience out door dining with good cooled weather.
Located in Wafi Mall the restaurant is themed nicely, food is perfectly served. Have variety of seven kitchens and cousins the restaurant have non smoking and smoking sections.
For those who love shisha, they serve very nice shisha.
Near by parking, and you can experience nice tour in the authentic Arabic old souk, and get many kinds of gifts and activities.
The very best part is the live band that plays music, and a fantastic talented with nice voice singer. Who sings every night and interact live with all the crowd, you can actually request your own song, and it will be performed for you.
Food here is beautiful, all the dishes i tried were super but i do feel thats its too expensive. I hope they would restudy thier pricing. The band at night plays beautifully
Very fancy place and quite authentic. Good to go if you want a real Arabic feel. The Souq around is interesting, ambience very nice.
Food is not bad, but definitely there are many similar options like these elsewhere, too!
I ordered charcoal BBQ chicken and fresh thyme salad. They were very tasty. The wrapping and packaging was good and very clean.
Went for Iftar , i must say i was surprised that they bring the soup , salad and appetizers to your table even they have a buffet. Lovely mixed buffet . And the most surprising thing is even through they are open area but you can’t feel any heat or humidity.
Been here once with our group of friends and tried 3types of tagines from their moroccon section and istambuli polo from iranian section and kebab from Lebanese alongside with salads and starters..service was good, food quality was acceptable and very high quantity that each meal was truly enough for 2...shisha service was good and reasonable price considering the service..I'd visit this restaurant more if it wasn't that far to my place...
Went there last night, the food was very good, the atmosphere was amazing as it was outdoor seating. we ordered Lamb Tagine and fruit juice which was very tasty. there was music and separated smoking and none smoking area.
We tried different dishes but what was particularly impressed fried zucchini with an amazing yogurt sauce , really yummy and dolmadakia with stuffed egglant equally nice! Perhaps the best blended fruit juice I've tasted in my life (really amazing) you must try the blended fruits there!!!!! The negative is that the portions of the main courses are huge and with many spices and is difficult to eat!!!

One of the finest Koshari and Foul Modammas in Dubai can be found here......Koshari and accompaniments were of reasonable quantities and the taste reminded of Abou Tarek in Cairo (although much costlier😉 - understandably)......good vegetarian options as well.....a bit hard to locate though (u need go through all sorts of underground passages to reach there).
The food over here is very nice . Spices are balanced and tastes like home made food. Their makki ki roti and sarson ka saag is simply awesome 👏 love the taste

Most authentic oriental cafe in Dubai. Ambience is really nice. I recommend to order Moroccan Tea.
Great place to be and to relax. Evenings is the best time to visit a venue. Enjoy.
مكان متنوع للاكل العربي و المكان .. الافطار لذيذ و خاصة و شكشوكة .. و عصير الكوكتيل رائع

Those food lovers , who loves to taste different regional food taste will enjoy this place
We tried the food without going for any diiferent try
Shish Tawouk and Al khalij grilled chicken
Food : Good and well served
Price - A bit expensive- Recommended during special occasions
A restaurant with traditional look - The passage to the restuarant through the mall at night is great
Recommended: Occasional visit
I am in love with there Royal Moroccan CousCous
From appetizer to dessert it was a lovely journey of mouth watery flavors
Sausage with pomegranate molasses is a must
Spicy potatoes is a must
Moroccan couscous is a star
Good food, good live Arabic entertainment and overall was an enjoyable experience.
Food arrived really fast and the staff even accommodated a special request not on the menu for a friend with dietary restrictions.
Nice food ... lot of delicious varieties from Lebanese to Moroccan to Egyptian ... i liked coscous ... they do it right... desserts are a must try .... i loved the place ... live music makes it a great place for both families and friends... 😍
مكان رائع متنوع بالاطباق اللبنانية و المصرية و المغربية ... لا تترك المكان قبل تناول الحلويات اللذيذة ... انغام و اغاني الفرقة تجعل المكان ممتع للعائلة و الاصدقاء
A good place serving middle eastern and Arabic cuisine. And there is good choice between Arabic, lebanese, Iranian and Turkish cuisine. We ordered the Turkish lentil soup which was quite good. For starters we ordered the chicken wings marinated in al khan sauce which was delicious. Main course we ordered for the chicken shawarma which lived up to our expectations. Thumbs up
The place is amazing, especially in the hot weather. open ceiling gives the freedom to smoke freely. the food is high quality and very tasty. Arabic ambiance and the band are awesome.
A great ambiance with an old house decor and an outdoor seating in the wafi mall. A nice band(Aoud guitar)in the background that plays the old yet lovely songs of the past. Arabian with its best food and multinational cuisine from the Arab world.A great for a gathering with family and friends.Service is fast the food is yummy !!
Great place for a quite and traditional levant inspired experience with various Arabic food. The kushari is superb sonia the biryani and grilled meat. Tajeen is not the best but overall good quality food yet quite expensive compared so similar food options yet your paying for the ambience.
Very good ambience, open air, smoking and non smoking areas. Went for an office party and had a ton of starters which where all good. Would like to go back and try the shisha.
Good food, good atmosphere,
Try the morrocan harira amazing flavours.
They mixed grill is so soft and cooked well.
The soujouk with pomegranate is amazing, so yummy n sour. Its lebanese sausages.
All their appetizers are great the humus and the taboule, baba ghanouj, hummus with meat
I would come back here again.
But its a bit pricy

We have dined several times at Khan Murjan over the past years, and always had a satisfactory experience.
Very pleasant ambiance and a decor with great attention to details.
The food is good and the menu covers different Arabic cuisines.
Highly recommended!

Wonderful food, terrific ambience and the live music just made it a memorable experience - Iranian biryani and tawook were so delicious and in the end the umm alim (the dessert) was fantalicous .. enjoyed it full time with family .. cheers :)
Lovely and nice interior food is nice and the atmosphere is lovely live music gives unique moood lovely and highly recommend by all means.Yes to go again
Khan murjan has always been one of my favorite restaurants in dubai.
The interior is very charming and special.
Their prices are higher than the average.
The only thing missing is board games!
This place perfectly matches the typical image of Middle East sensed from Japanese point of view. Even though you can enjoy sun light of Dubai, it is fully air conditioned and very comfortable to eat in. Moroccan Tagine was superb.
Khan Murjan in Wafi is worth visiting if you are craving for authentic arabic cuisines. They have wide array of food choices- Lebanese, Egyptian, Persian, etc (just name it!) The ambience is perfect! Interior design is very middle eastern(y). You will never feel the summer heat in their "outdoor" setting. You will enjoy not only the food but also the ambience. The staffs are also exceptional and helpful.
Khan Murjan has such an amazing vibe; lively and very Arabic! The outdoor'ish seating paired with the decor makes it very. The have a very vast variety of food from all over the Middle East.
We had a couple of flavours of shisha and I liked both. Food mains, we had a couple of Tagines and they tasted very good.
There aren't many places in Dubai that serve good shisha AND good food, but Khan Murjan is definitely one of them!
This place has one of the best lamb chops
in Dubai. I just love the ambience with an open top but excellent air conditioning that keeps you cool even during the summer. Service was always prompt but lately it's quite friendly too. Our go to place for some good Arabic food and shisha.
The best Lebanese food I have eaten in Dubai. Their Hummus Beiruti, Fallafel, Manakeesh, Tabouleh and Fattoush along with Toum (Garlic Paste) is definitely some of the few things you should order at this restaurant.
They have some amazing food and you cannot go wrong with anything you order in this restaurant. Their Fresh juices are also something you should definitely consider ordering.
Went there for the Iftar buffet. They have a good selection of various food however the food itself was average.
loved the ambiance and the location itself.
Khan Murjan has a variety of food from across the Arab world, most of it rather good, including hot bread. The service is competent too, but the real reason this place stands out is the beautiful atmosphere created by the surroundings and the music - no small achievement for a restaurant in the middle of a mall. It is a bit overpriced, though.
Very Arabic restaurant with good service.
I don't know many names in Arabic foods but staff members will help you to order.
I recommend you to order many different types of sides so you will enjoy many! Instead of order main dish for each
The ambience should get a 5 star rating for its off beat location in the basement of a mall yet having an open roof! Full marks foe authenticity. The menu covers a wide range of middle east cuisines but not in depth. The desserts are superb. So are the fresh juices. The money is for the ambience. So choose it to impress, food is only slightly better.
Excellent food .. amazing Veg choices .. Must visit for good Arabic food! Awesome Shisha as well! Despite of place being busy, service was equally good..
Best place to try the authentic middle eastern cuisine in Dubai. The Arabic heritage interiors add up to the fabulous ambience. Try the authentic Afghanistan breads. Bakhlawa and kunafa are a must try.
This place takes me right back to Turkey, located within a courtyard in wafi mall, khan murjan offers the best food and shisha. They have the traditional flavours of shisha such as Apple nakhla and many more. They have the best fresh juice variety available and their meals are flavourful straight out of the pan. I would definitely recommend to try their sajiet shrimps.
I love this place and the atmosphere is just so serene and beautiful. Fashioned after a 14th century souq in Baghdad, Iraq this spot rings all the bells. What I love is the canopy of stars or blue open skies you can watch above so although it's enclosed it's still outdoors. Having been here many times, I love that the service is attentive and food is always great quality and tasting. We usually order the mixed grill or the lamb chops, arayes, fattoush, hummus and ofcourse the shisha. For dessert it's always Kashta with fruit. Once we ordered the Chello Kabab koobeedeh and while it tasted okay, it certainly didn't taste like Iranian cuisine. Not something I will order again. I do however recommend this gem at Wafi for a chilled out meal with or without the shisha especially in the cooler months. I have to say though that we have been here in the warmer months too and it was very comfortable. We didn't feel hot and bothered at all.
Been there in Ramadan where we had a great iftar and shisha afterwards. The places feels like Old Damascus with beautiful decoration. The food is middle eastern and comes in high quality. Will for sure visit again
Very nice experience. Very good service and excellent food. Enjoyed the live music. One of the best place in Dubai for Arabian food. Will be back.
The best restaurant have arabic live music 🎶
Nice arabic and persian food 🥘

Khan Murjan at Wafi is my spot to be in.. if it's nowhere else, I am definitely found here. it's not the food that brings me here but the atmosphere and welcoming staff.
The variety for vegetarians is not much but they do offer freshly baked saj with cheese that is delicious. koshari is a bit weak in comparison to what I have had but overall, if you are planning to visit once or twice and are a vegetarian, the items in the menu can work to a decent meal.
For desserts I'd highly recommend the nabulsi kunafa which is fantastic and their shakes are freshly prepared and absolutely yum too!
Visit for great outdoor shisha, arabian inspired decor, fresh juices/shakes, live music and fab service. The staff do recall my order every time.. I am surprised how well they memorize all of it.

I love the atmpshere and decoration of this place... it takes us away to a diffrent world... the quality of food is good... i have been couple of times there and i need to say that service is not consistent... sometimes too good... and other times.. too slow!!!
this is officially one of my favorite places in Dubai. i don't smoke but as usual most of the friends do so to find a place the you can still enjoy food despite smoking due t their open setup and great climate even in summer is amazing.
food is just excellent, good variety and great service
Oh I have no words to describe how bloody delicious the food they serve here. Recommend by a colleague from Dubai. The Hommus , the dips and the meat they serve here is the best I ever had in my life. Man the Hommus. I can go on and on and on. Phew!! Legendary. The Shish Taouk and the Grilled Chicken were so soft and amazing. The best part is the ambience which has huge ceiling which makes u feel really vibrant and estatic. The best Lebanese Joint ever. Must Try if you visit Dubai.
The uniqueness of the outdoor sitting and their whole outlook is something which i have loved and it's worth going there even for a cup of tea just to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
We ordered Tagine Kofta with Eggs, Msakhan Jordanian, Seafood Briwat and Kunafah for a dinner. The appetizer Seafood Briwat was this samosa looking item with a very different spice/taste to a sub-continental Samosa. You could differentiate the uniqueness of the spices and taste very easily. It was a nice subtle appetizer and we enjoyed it a lot.
Then followed our main courses with the complimentary fresh bread right out of their ovens which comes to you in this ballooned form. The bread we used with the very very tasty Koftas in this awesome tomato sauce. But the winner without any doubt for the night was Musakhan. I have been a big fan of this dish wherever i have had it in Dubai, the mix of tangy sumac and sweet onions is to die for. But the way it was made in Khan Murjan with the soft bread base , it was just a work of brilliance. We will come back only for their musakhan :)
Kunafa, you are better off ignoring. Unless you just wanna wrap up the dinner at Khan Murjan for the sake of it. But nothing awesome to write about that. Just go and have some musakhan there :)
Wow. Fantastic for all kinds of food, traditional Arabic, Egyptian or Moroccan.
The place is on the pricey side, but good service (not the best), great ambiance, and over all great food. Been many times, and would definitely go again.
There is no doubt when we say that this is one of the unique places in dubai !
High quality in food and service!
Very nice decoration and ambiance..
I highly recommend all the food !!! And the pomegranate juice is so yummy ...
I love the chicken musakhan and chicken machboos ! Also good options of salad!
Never forget to end your experience with the morrocan tea prepared lively by the lady there !
Food is fantastic and great value of money as the portion is quite big.
Thumps up for the chefs 👍
Sadly the service was not that much good as the food. Kind of weak and not focused.
Another negative point was the Shisha, not very recommended for Shisha lovers plus the Shisha's man was not that much good in fixing it every now and then.
The location is very good in middle of oriental small souk which was very matching with the food and atmosphere.
The live band was great for such a place, not so loud as well. Good point that they do have smoking and non smoking area.
Its no secret now that this place has a very remarkable ambiance.. So lets jump to the food.. The menu is vast n interesting.. Unfortunately many items are just not available on the menu.. Sad! So i could not try much. I tried the lentil soup, grilled hammour n hummus beiruti n pommogrenate juice..
Lentil soup was just plain lentil soup with no flavor to it.. If you have had an authentic turkish lentil soup, this one would fall flat for you.
The choices for fish are very limited.. Grilled hammour was ok.. As expected.. Nothing outstanding as such..
Hummus and bread ok regular.. Nothing beyond ordinary..
The pomogrenate juice was refreshing! Nailed that one.
Overpriced.. Yeah absolutely!
I did not try the sheesha ao cannot comment on it...
This place is by far one of the best Arabic restaurants in Dubai and especially because of the design and architecture of the place. They basically took a parking hole, dug a massive hole and at the bottom of the hole created this completely open restaurant leaving the roof open, which is at a pretty big height. Words don’t do justice to the sight, hence it is a must visit.
The place gives you a true souk feel as it’s a massive restaurant with a lovely nice energy and buzzing with a crowd. The open roof creates a beautiful air in the cooler months but its designed in such a way that even in the summer the place is quite pleasant.
They serve a great selection of food and drink and its some of the best Arabic food you will have in Dubai, so don’t hesitate trying anything that you feel like. They also serve a great variety of sheesha, once again one of the best atmospheres to have sheesha.
Staff and service are great, friendly and efficient. The only downside is the live Arabic music they play at a fairly loud volume. The music is great but the volume not so much, so hope they can consider turning it down a little ☺.
If you enjoy Arabic food, sheesha or nice outdoor spaces, this place is a must.
Went to Khan Murjan with my family for a graduation dinner. The restaurant is very spacious and takes you to a whole different world- very Arabesque.
We ordered:
Harera Fassiya soup
Arayes
Mixed grill platters
Cold mezzeh- hommous, garlic paste, fattoush and tabouleh
The food was delicious and meats were tender and cooked to perfection.
The good thing about this place is whether you are a fan of Moroccan, Iranian, Lebanese or Egyptian cuisine there is something for alll of you.
We also had sheesha and Moroccan tea.
The service was excellent.
They had a live band singing for us since we were there for a celebration.
Prices are decent.
Absolutely love this place!!
First thing to catch my eye was the ambiance, perfect set up. Sheesha is a delight and the food is overpowrring. We ordered a lot of falafel, hummus, tabouleh and fresh salad with fresh juices & sheesha as we were about 12 people that day. They have centre space of fresh fruits in the middle which makes you want to order fresh juices. Falafel was crispy and perfect. Tabouleh became my favourite after being here. Best part is service is so great that even at the busiest hour they keep serving you warm breads and take away the cold one.
It is a must try place.
