It was a mind blowing night at @mcgettiganspubs JLT! Amazing time of great music and food was made even exciting when finally, the five millionth pint has been ordered and prize was awarded to the winner!
What I think about their food? The over baked sea bass was perfectly cooked and I loved the side vegetables. Their mushroom soup was a surprise for me. You can definitely smell the aroma of the wild mushrooms used.
But what really stole my the heart was their pork belly popcorn. The flavor combination of soy, honey and sesame seeds made my taste buds happy.
I would not recommend ordering cocktails or spirits if you’re attending their ladies night as the drinks are diluted. Order wine instead

Friday Brunch Irish Experience
The place and environment was nicely unexpected! With live entertainment and a host making you feel that you are literally in an Irish bar, with competitions and prizes to go for. Brunch is fairly priced given the options available (read the description in the pictures to know what I ordered). Great to go with your family or a group of friends. There is a non smoking area so that was perfect!! Best way to start your weekend with great vibes 🎈✨

Mcgettigan’s is located inside Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Cluster J, Dubai. It was started in Yr. 2010 and they are known for its live music, comedy, sport and quality food. You can enjoy playing pool and watch your favourite sports while having their scrumptious food. A perfect hangout spot I would say. The guests in Bonnington Jumeirah Lake Towers are in for a treat for sure. Due to the pandemic, they have maintained the safety standards and distancing between the tables. The servers were all suited up safely to serve us.
Now the best part is you can take your family too, they can be seated in the non smoking area. Came to know about the Kids eat for free offer which is an ongoing promotion at the moment. So how it works is grown ups can order for a main from their vast variety of options and the kids can choose for a dish from their menu for free.
I went on to order Grilled Salmon, it comes along with warm quinoa, sweet potato, edamame, peppers and confit tomatoes. Well the presentation was really amazing and it was really appetizing, since the salmon was cooked to perfection and fresh.
My son went on to order the Panko Crumb Fish Finger which comes along with Fries, Lemon and Tartar Sauce. Well he went on to finish it really fast and enjoyed it. I even tried the fish finger, it was crispy and fresh. For the dessert you can order an Ice cream as well.
Ended with a hot cappuccino and it was satisfying.
All in all the experience was good.

This is one of the best branches of McGettigan’s that I’ve been to in Dubai. The service was really good and the staff was friendly. The crowd and ambience was really chill. The food was lovely, the cheesecake has always been my favorite there.
the place is amazing during any football games. Beers are reasonably priced and the ambience is great for a weekend night out drinking. Best part the music isn't loud so you can also have your business meetings if you wish to. The staff is very helpful and makes sure you get served on time.
Never thought I’d be writing a positive review for food at mcgettigans but credit where credit is due!! Bold statement coming, best buffalo chicken wings I’ve had! The sauce taste was perfect and so was the cook on the meat. The quality of the wings was good too. Filipino female staff at the door tonight (9th June) were super nice. Politeness and friendly and big smiles always sets off a good meal.

I love this bar coz it’s under the building of the apartment I stay in. Other than that it’s a regular bar with same tasting beers and drunk people around. Exactly how I like it. :D
One of the JLT waterholes, McGettigan's JLT is a lively place for a pint and proper pub grub. The long happy hours are welcome, so you can take advantage even after a hard day at work. The staff and service are top notch.
I've tried their Chicken Wings and Fish and Chips. Would recommend both dishes all day every day along with a cold one.
Do head down during Ladies Nights and Quiz Nights! The place really comes alive then!
Had been there for a bottomless brunch and had a good time.
Was quite impressed with their cocktails. They had a mango cocktail with mango pulp. It was so great. Food was also good. Overall I think it was worth the money paid.

It's my first time at mc gettigans though I've heard good reviews from my friends. Amazing place, just loved the vibe. Would definetly be on regular list. The food is great too. We opted fot the late night bites. the pork belly popcorn is a must try. Keep up the great work guys!
High quality pub food. Lovely fish and chips...crispy chips, meaty flaky fish and big portions. Its hard to find proper English fish and chips in Dubai, this Irish pub fills that void when you have a craving. Other nibbles look good too, I always go for the same dish as mentioned so can’t really comment on any of the other food however people always look satisfied with what they’re eating.
It’s the vibe! And my favorite - Quiz night! You won’t even notice there’s nothing special with the food you ordered, just because the good vibe and night life is on!
McGettigans has excellent pub food. I ordered the goat cheese salad 🥗 and it was amazing, didn’t expect a pub to do a good salad and it was served with soda bread and butter, which was nice as well.
Their Chardonnay is quite good, and is something that you would wish to drink again. However, the calamari is a bit chewy and dry. And it might need a more soulful dip/sauce for the taste to work.
First time I’ve have a Stella post the recent watering #stellagame boy how refreshing it is. Very great pint for 35 AED I even got a second (on a school night!!!!)

Great venue with awesome garden & love the live music on the weekends! I always order the wagyu beef nachos, they are seriously tasty along with the fat chips with mushrooms.

A popular pub celebrating its 8th birthday this month of the year and 22 branches. Serves much better food than usual pubs. Chicken wings are quite tasty and popular besides nachos and burgers.

I've been many times to this place after work for few drinks but last Thursday was the first time to try their burger and it was one of the top burgers i tried in my 10years living in this country. I 100% recommended to all burger lovers.. the bun is super tasty, the meat is juicy and all ingredients are high quality with full taste.. thank you guys for serving me a very amazing burger.
McGettigans is a very happening place on weekends . We visited them late night aroung 1 am on friday and they were full and very lively. Bustling with people dancing and chatting all around . The crowd and music is amazing . The area is huge with inside sitting and outside standing tables.
We had couple of beers and onion rings which were delicious.

Amazing place to catch up with friends and eat. but the worst time is to go when its sports seasons as the tv volume is very loud and you can't enjoy. but i understand its a sports season and all excited ( not a sports person at all).

Cool place to hangout at Bonnington. The happy hour deals are the best and offer some great prices for beer and wine. Food is also good. We tried the fish and chips.
The service could have been better as we had asked for 5 mins to decide on what we want and then nobody came for 15 mins. But for the crowd it had, It was okay i guess.

Excellent place to catch up on games and some nice food. Portions are big, i couldnt finish my Pasta!! Servixe is good and staff is friendly of mixed nationalities. A place I would recommend for a pint or two, to wind down after office or any other time. One can also enjoy decent dinner there, though the kitchen closes a bit early and then choice of food comes down to burgers, etc.

Mcgettigans always has such a good atmosphere no matter what time a day or night it is, good pub grub range of beverages and always has some kind of entertainment from sports to live music and pool tables to entertainment ourselves. I have been coming here for the past 4 years and have never had a bad experience definitely deserve a 5*
Truly cozy atmosphere, this Irish pub had. Outside terrace has a shear kid friendly environment, I actually visited here with my kid but my stay here was very much satisfactory as there was spacious bench and good to enjoy some pints of beer even in the hot and humid weather. Grilled salmon was really tasty.

My friend and I walked in here after having a few drinks at the Irish Village and this place was a bomb. It was filled with people. Most of them were drunk but the place we lively. Sports, outdoor bar, indoor bar, dance floor, music, alcohol some amazing crowd, McGettigan’s had it all. The place is open until 03.30 ish in the morning and we even made a new pretty Pakistani friend.
Lovin the acoustic music, friendly staff, lively crowd, friendly staff plus the tasty food. It’s my squad’s favorite hang out. There are variety of drinks and cocktails to choose from. The interior decors and furniture are comfy.

Quite a different vibe compared to McGetty's in Singapore. I like this place more than any other McGetty's I've been to, especially their Al Fresco area. Wagyu Beef Chilli Nachos is probably my favourite and will definitely be back to try the other dishes.
Brilliant place. Many many screens for all sports. Big inside and very big terrace. Next to the Bonnington Hotel so they serve alcohol. Love their menu. Also healthy food section with number of calories mentioned. And their sweet potato chips are the best!

Its an amazing place to hangout with your friends or family. Nice ambience, nice music, awesome crowd, great service. The only issue is their food menu after 10 P.M, they don't have much to offer. All in all a great place to hangout.
Nice ambience, good options for drinks and finger snacks. Could improve on the finger snacks i had ordered onion rings and it had oil dripping had to leave it. Rest i loved the place and the feel of it.

Went here for brunch the other day and it was great. Being able to sit outside and listen to live music while enjoying a drink and some eats is great. I went with a friend and we really enjoyed ourselves. The selection is diverse and is great for a casual brunch with friends.
Does this place every have a light evening or is it always a busy evening and a very busy evening.
Guess they just do things right. The service is fast and the food is good, whether it is Bangers and mash or Fish & Chips or their Burgers.
The beers arrive ever so quickly to the table.

We decided to celebrate a birthday here. And amazed with the hospitality of the team to arrange a small petite pastry with name written in chocolate on a plate. Loved the hospitality. The pizza here is mind blowing - huge, Margherita at its best. Chicken wings are worth and huge in taste and quality. Its a sports bar kind of place inside with TV, etc as they even keep match on. Outside is peaceful seating. Inside, you can even move around on the music and dance on your seats. Music gets loud by the evening. Ladies nights are worth trying. Crowd here is very upmarket and mostly people who work in the vicinity. You have a lot of colleagues coming here just for a beer post work. A very belgium kind of place and English crowd. Pricing is something I feel needs improvement and they need to add the area towards the washroom - as the dance room area and close it.

Has to be one of the most enjoyable brunches I've been to in a really long time. The entire place is filled with happy vibes with every guest having a whale of a time. It was a feast out there and for the price point it was a bargain. Add to that the flowing booze to choose from to wash down the dishes with and you've your ideal Friday. They have a menu with delicious dishes made to order ranging from egg Benedict and burgers to waffles and pancakes. The live counter had succulent beef and pork roasted to perfection. The spread at the buffet counter including the desserts was above average. They have a wide range of hops to choose from along with spirits. I would personally go for the beer as I felt the spirits were pretty diluted and also because nothing goes better with a brunch than a pint of good ol Guinness. This is a must visit if you're into brunches and looking to have a great time. They also have an extended drinks only offer post the brunch if you want to continue the party.

Went in for a quick dinner, but had trouble finding the pub on the outside. It's not very easily marked. The inside however was nice and cheerful with plenty of tv screens to follow some sports and have the food. Food was of good quality and arrived fairly soon after the order. Would definitely recommend on the weekend for a merry atmosphere

We were lucky enough (some would say the luck of the Irish) to experience something that could be described as the stuff of legend. A mega, mammoth, behemoth, gargantuan sized bumper brunch lasting a mind-boggling 6 hours to mark the end of the season at McGettigan’s JLT & The Baggot, which took place on Friday May 19th.
You should especially try out their lamb chops. Good ambience and Irish beer. Great service. Normally crowded in the late evenings and week ends.

I was recently invited to review their friday brunch.As expected it was fully packed.It was very vibrant and cheerful with live music.Staff were very friendly and helpful.For the brunch they have a salad bar with soup and breads,seafood spread and a descent spread of sides,few main courses,a table for roasted chicken,meat and pork.Their salad and dessert spread is quite descent.You can also have unlimited beverages along with the brunch.The friday brunch at Mc Gettigans is definitely enjoyable and pocket friendly.They have a great ala carte menu as well.
This is my favourite pub in Dubai and especially the one in JLT. I love the guiness beer here. I have been to the one in WTC and Madinat Jumeirah but the JLT ones ambience and guiness is much much better.
Finally I get to savour a Guineas stout with some Irish pub food and boy was it worth the wait. The beer of course was something that's been on my bucket list for sometime but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Be it the fish and chips or the beef burger or the spaghetti it was just amazing. For me personally it was the beef burger and the fish and chips which sealed the deal.

Great view of the Burj Al Arab! Delicious chicken wings and great service… 🌸 definitely worth a stop when visiting the Madinat Jumeirah souk. They had happy hour every day except Saturdays from 3-9 when we were there, sadly we were a bit early, but something to consider when visiting.

A very enjoyable visit. The Guinness was great, fantastic pour. We came back for a transitional roast as well, equally as enjoyable. They also have a wide range of sport to watch, which is handy. We will definitely return.
