Took a parcel from here for samosa pav. It was quite inexpensive, very fresh, super delicious. Would highly recommend to try it out if you haven't already.
During recent visit to Meena bazar just tried the Dosa here and it was amazing. This was the first Puranmal restaurant where i liked their food.
Ordered ghewar first time in UAE & it was so delicious... The parathas were average as stuffing was less& accompaniments like dal was missing
Puranmal has the most authentic home style cooked Thalia and a variety of sweets
Their Thalis and khandvi and samosas are a must try
I had a delivery on time. But because of the late hours probably, the order of Bhindi do pyaza wasn't a available and after calling me on phone, it was mutually decided to be given Aloo gobi.
Packaging was okay.
Price was reasonable at present situation.
1. Garlic kulcha was excellent.
2. Aloo gobi - gravy was magnificent. Gobi portion was nore than aloo, which I really liked.
3. Khada Pav bhaji. The pav were too good, properly buttered and not very thick. The bhaji didn't agree with me. Better to go for the regular bhaji.
4. Kulfi falooda. Surprisingly it was packed in a round plastic bowl. But tasted nice and had lots of Dry fruits- loved that.
They have wide range of mainly North Indian type items. Recommended.
Chilly cheese sandwich and chicolate milk shake is a deadly combination. Their chocolate milk shakes are very good. The sandwich can be worked on a bit. And I realized ordering a thali and getting served is much faster here than ordering and getting served the sandwich.
Been on a Chaat frenzy lately.
Tried a Dahi Batata Wada from this place.
It was delicious, yummy and had a great quality.
They have an array of sweets to choose from for every occasion.
LOve the food here@
This was our first visit to this location, the only minus point is to climb up the stairs - and with a knee injury it can be very painful...
We ordered the parathas, which was freshly made and served with condiments and fresh yoghurt. This was delicious. The other order was the dal pakwan. The dal could be a little more flavourful, but then maybe this is how its eaten. Sadly, they do not serve coffee.
Prices in Puranmal are always very reasonable, service is attentive.
The restaurant is neat, clean and over all have clean washrooms
Great place to go when I want to eat chaat. Had ordered pani puri, sev puri, and dhai batata puri. It’s very affordable and cheap. The place is very clean also to sit with family.
We recently visited this place during our short stay in Dubai. I found it to be a great place for people looking for vegetarian lunch and dinner. For lunch, we tried thali as well as Kadai Paneer with chapati and it's just like homely food. The paneer tikka biryani was also great. Overall a good place for quick lunch and dinner with reasonable price !
You can never go wrong with breakfast especially from this branch. We had Puri/Aloo and Aloo Paratha it arrived hot and crispy.
Even though we believe that the size of paratha was smaller from the previous visit.
Definitely not for the faint heart or for weight watchers
I’m a big fan of puranmal sweets especially laddoo and gud wale pede. Whenever you go,you will get fresh laddoos, how??? Incredible!!!
Gud wale pede is my recent favorite, the taste of mawa and gud just melt in mouth.
Puranmal outlet at Meena Bazaar is a nice restaurant. The ambience is good and I love their Raj Kachori and Falooda. The staff is courteous and professional.
K & B: Pani Puri is the only thing which K can have spicy to any limit and when the weather is beautiful B can not resist Samosa!! Our go to place is @puranmaluae On the ground floor, there is one outdoor area to stand and have all your chaats and panipuris and there is one indoor area for all your sweet tooth needs aka Mithais/Indian Sweets. On the first floor you can dine in with a elaborated menu. We ordered:
1.Samosa's
2.PaniPuri
3.Dhokla
There were out of khandvi's (the reason we visited) at 4pm.
Cost of Meal for 2 people including vat: Aed 25.50/-
Nice place to dine around Meena Bazaar. Authentic taste is not only in the words. You can really feel it. Ambience wise good and a prompt service. Recommended for every one to give a try.
Lovely place to have Indian food in Dubai, specially the chai was good and refreshing. The chat food specifically is tastier as compared to the other dishes.
Nice place to dine . I loved south Indian here . Idli ,masala dosa, rava masala dosa. Sambhar has a very nice flavour. Other snacks are also delicious. Samosa chole ,tikki and specially vada pav is a must try dish.
Quick noodles to taste or if you are in the mood to eat Indian sweets especially burfee- It is kinda average.. not as great as one would expect. Quite a regular food joint that's something not uniquely tasty. Heard samosas were great but haven't tried them yet.
Great Indian Street food. Very casual place to eat right after hours of tiring shopping.
Great for chaats and parathas. Gobi paratha a personal favourite. Surely will keep coming back.
They were nice enough to replace a paratha with a non spicy one for out tiny kid even though we hadn't specified it at the time of ordering.
Really appreciate that.
Food - 8/10
Service - 7/10
Ambience - 9/10
One of the best places to have veg food in Dubai. Right balance between taste, quantity & price.
Food serverd here is very tasty and delicious, absolutely no complaints on that.
Service is a bit slow but they can definitely improve that.
Ambience is great well maintained, clean and hygienic.
Overall I had a good experience and a must try place in Dubai.
Its realy a clean place, good health place to dine , only issue is parking , i like the chola bhatura, serving styke of pani ouri was also very attractive
Thali is always a delicacy here so enjoyed the meal on Tuesday morning
Enjoyed a new dish of arvi (taro root) and capsicum which was really tasty
The Dal makhani had a overdose of spices though
Overall a good experience
SWEETS. If you have s sweet tooth, this is the place for you. Great laddus and milk sweets. I am not too sure about the food. But sweets are brilliant. Make sure that you have a couple of people with you as you will need a couple of them to finish of the seeds, which are very rich and heavy :)
Food is good, Menu is huge, quality is good, taste is just their, life is usual, things are flowing in same speed - Thoughts when you dine in at Puranmal.
we visited puramal on our anniversary 2 weeks back.
they had valet parking,so no hastle of finding a parking on jumeira road.the ambience is very beautiful.nice fr family dining. v ordered masala rava dosa, cheese paubhaji both very delicious.perfect taste. v also ordered pasta which was very okay.disnt like that much. Orsered chocomonk for desert which was fab😊 value for money, quick service. would want to visit again to try their Punjabi dishes.
Thanks puranmal for keeping Gujarati roots alive in Dubai. This place vibes Indian totally and their hospitality is like you are in your own country. Amazing taste with such a vast menu.
Always my best spot whenever I feel like to have something sweeeet..! With a great variety of milk based and dry fruit based sweet items mainly kesar rasmalai, motichur ladoo, dry fruit barfi, jelebi and many more. In addition they serve many chat items and regular North Indian dishes.. Located in meen Bazar near dubai museum and bur dubai temple.
We were told to visit purnamal by a local in meena bazar whilst shopping and so we did n loved it so much we have been back to different branches in dubai. Prices are reasonable. Food is tasty. Service is efficient and even the restrooms were immaculate. It's a must try!
Puranmal needs no introduction and has been in UAE since ages serving delectable food items that savor the diaspora in the emirates. Try their breakfast, lunch or dinner else go for snacks or chaat and its good and delicious and place is clean !! One of the best samosas, kachori (dal/onion) dhoklas, fafda, gulabjamun, thali and so many other items !!!
This is my go to place when I’m in Meena Bazar. Quick and yummy Indian street food. Lots of options that cater to all tastebuds. Their chaat is highly recommended.
Very good food to eat. Samosa is excellent. Buy for lunch it is not worth of money. And to get some items extra their hands will get pain. The management should try the hospitality in some north Indian hotels in meena bazaar. Like prosperity restaurant. Giving so much money and eating less is the common theory in puranmal.
Visited this restaurant for breakfast today. Quite a busy due to Friday morning. Ordered Puri chole , dosa , mix paratha.
Ordere was delivered quickly inspite of rush. Taste was good .
very prompt service, received order before expected time
I went to Puranmal with my Dad for a weekend lunch and it was so pleasing to see that Puranmal's standard has not reduced in the past decade or so because I've been a regular at Puranmal during that time.
Our order:
Thali
Veg Makhanwala
Butter Naan
Mango Lassi
The thali was great. The menu for that day was Dal Makhni, Veg Kolhapuri, Palak Paneer, Malai Sandwich and Boondi Raita. The taste was as good as ever with every dish being prepared really well. The thali was served with Tandoori Rotis and Jeera rice.
The Veg Makhanwala (my favourite sabzi) was really good. It tasted just as good as the first time I'd tasted it some 12-13 years ago. Full credit for consistency!
The Mango Lassi was thick and thoroughly enjoyable!
Personal must-trys: Thali, Veg Makhanwala, Mango Lassi
Tasty & quite filling breakfast..i dont know if its the best mixed porotta in town , but for me it was the best !!! I had two back to back ..
I highly recommend this place for good north Indian street style food and sweets. I am not a fan of South Indian food here.
But, one should definitely try the samosas, ragra, cholle puri! I just love it!
They have a so many variety of Indian sweets! Oh how can I forget GULAB JAMUN!
The service is pretty and location is amidst the chaos of bustling Meena Bazaar.
Very old and highly reputed veg restaurant and traditional chaat and sweet shop that never gets anything wrong.
We always stop here for a snack whenever the wife wants to go shopping for traditional clothes.
Today we tried the Pani Poori and the Ragra Samosa.
Both were amazing and the pricing is very pocket friendly as well.
Highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch dinner or just a quick snack.
Puranmal is one of the oldest chain of restaurant which serves vegetarian indian cuisine in city.. This restaurant is more famous for its chaat and for same you can find good crowd visiting restaurant on daily basis..
I tried some of the dishes to have some quick bites:
Dahi Wada - Tempting.. Wada which was used to make this dish was too soft and dahi was medium sweet.. Chutneys made taste more better..
Dahi Batata Puri - One more tempting dish of chaat.. Good one..
Samosa - It was also good in taste as it was medium spicy and I got typical taste of indian samosa.. Liked it..
Overall good restaurant I must say to have some vegetarian indian cuisine that too at pocket friendly rates..
Have been going here since childhood. I have always loved their South Indian dishes. Its simply delicious. They also serve good north indian food. Love their simple yet tasty curd rice. I love their sweets and the variety they have.
This one is located in the heart of Meena Bazar. It's famous for it's chaat. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a variety of North Indian delicacies.
As a crazy chat fan I love the chats in puranmal especially the pani puri which makes your day and the samosas and tikkis are also apt. I feel the service can be improved and I’m not a fan of the sweets either it’s only the chaats which I can’t resist!
Amazing pani puri - just the way we get in Delhi. Papdi chaat is also nice but still needs little improvement to reach the 5/5 rating. Cheers!
It is one of the best place for indian sweets here.. i really like their moti choor ke laddoo and i really like their chaat.. i really like their pani puri.. a must try
Koki Paratha in Morning Breakfast from Puranmal is a must, it is good hygenic then other restaurants in Bur Dubai. Somehow delivery option should be there..
Shopping at meena bazaar then we end up eating pani puri and few other chaats standing outside this restaurant...nice place and they have good seating area upstairs and njoi this place just for chaats..
I tried their Pani puri 3.5 / 5 , sev puri 3.5 / 5 , cream of tomato soup 4 / 5 , punjabi thali 3.5 /5 , a good experience, friendly staff and tasty food. I have visited their outlet in mumbai as well
The food here, with no doubt is very tasty. Puranmal has always left us satisfied since, I suppose the time we migrated to dubai, which was about 12 years ago. We went to puranmal right after our tiring Diwali shopping day and ordered paneer chilli (dry), Kadai paneer, masala papad, dal tadka and butter naan of course. If your taste buds are craving for Mumbai style food, this place in my opinion ,is perfect. paneer chilli was delicious and I could clearly distinguish between the quality and taste of the paneer chilli at puranmal and at other restaurants, as I try this dish almost everywhere. The kadai paneer and masala papad was good too. The only dish I had a concern with was dal tadka because I feel that the spices put into it weren't enough and didn't complete the taste as a whole. It tasted more like home cooked dal which could be a positive aspect however I wasn't expecting to have that taste so I was left with a bit of disatissfaction. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, they recently renovated the restaurant however I think it was better before. The price in ratio with the quantity was perfect. Overall it was a good experience.
Highly recommend vegetarian Indian restaurant. Always prefer thali as the taste completely resembles home cooked food. Complete value for money.
We were in a big group today but the staff served us really well. Everyone ordered different items from their menu and were served nicely. The food was nice as usual.

It is a well appointed Indian restaurant, located on the first floor of a building, but with an independent entrance. The area is popular but the restaurant is very close to the Dubai Museum. To go up and reach the dining room you go through a shop, always on the same property, where typical foods and spices are sold. The restaurant room is large and the tables are well spaced from each other. The menu offers numerous specialties of Indian cuisine, with attention to proposing many vegetarian foods. The staff is courteous and helpful and gives the customer the opportunity to calmly choose what he prefers before ordering. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the food that is served.

Ve had a nice vegetarian meal in this restaurant a few days ago. The waiter was super helpful and thoroughly explained us the different dishes in the menu. The food was delicious at an honest price. The place is popular among Indian people and quite casual.
(تمت الترجمة بواسطة Google.) مكلفة بعض الشيء. الجو رائع. الطعام جيد. الحلويات هي الأفضل. سيكون رائعا إذا كان لديهم بعض العروض.

Slightly expensive. The ambience is great. Food is good. Sweets are the best. Would be great if they had some offers.
