For Indian food at a good price this is an amazing place. Be it sweets or food. Loved the Ras Malai and special mini thali that was served with choice of veggies and chapati. They are also having Indian sweets with Malai kulfi and do homemade paneer too. Also they keep sugar free sweets.

Oily food, pyaz kachori has hardly any pyaz in it and worst of all are the mithai. Took 2 Assorted boxes during diwali and this is the worst I have ever tasted.

Khana Khazana is mall/supermarket based, veg only Indian snacks and sweets restaurant franchise. This branch inside the venerable Spinneys supermarket on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street in Mankhool is located where the Audio/Video store used to be. Although not that old, Khana Khazana has an old school feel to it. And that may be because owner, Ramesh Bhojwani, a Dubai veteran of 35 years (and also the person who also owned all those audio/video stores), wanted to remind us of the way things were in old Dubai. Whatever the reason, I liked the restaurant’s down-to-earth interior.

I tried pizza nachos, veg grilled sandwich and cocktail juice. They were really tasty and amazing. Will visit again and again.

Nice stylish clean traditional sweet and snacks restaurant. They have thalis and farsan too. Indian style sweets are great. Very fresh.<br/>I also had superb samosas. North indian style. With seasonal green peas..<br/>I took the onion kachori. With tamarind and mint chutney it tasted nice.<br/>Good management. Budget friendly.

Small restaurant but well kept, located in Mankhool, bang opp Spinnys While shopping in Spinnys i was tempted to have kulfi from this restaurant. We had malai kulfi and kesar pista kulfi, both were decent

One of the places to try North Indian food, if you are tired of Chappan Bhog and Puranmmal was in my mind when I visited here with my friend while visiting Wafi mall. The food was really tasty and the service was also good. The price tag was a tad bit less than the earlier mentioned restaurants, so properly priced.

The food is really good.<br/><br/>Went for Iftar bufffet.<br/>-great price<br/>-amazing spread.<br/>-could have better spread on the deserts tho.<br/>-the starters were amazing.<br/>-the drinks which were there were really good too.<br/>-their alakart menu is also really good.<br/>-wide spread of vegetarian food for any veggies.<br/><br/>Amazing place would definitely recommend.<br/>

I wanted to have tea. Which was for 5 AED, so expected it to be fresh and hence to be made after i place the order. However i was simply given some already made old tea which was just heated. Had to throw it.

Memories of some restaurants are etched in our head and this one is amongst them. I utilized a Groupon voucher that time and we got meal for four. The service was amazing and the restaurant gave us good options to choose from, amongst starters, main course and drinks (as per the offer/combo). The food was delicious and I can't wait to go there again.

We went for our dinner to Khana Khazana.Ambience was nice and as usual love their Amritsari Kulcha. We ordered starters as Kababs in both veg and Non Veg and both were nice however felt like their kabab should be more soften especially vegetation one. Then for Main Course their Amritsari Kulcha was really good served with meethi chatni and chole and in non veg their chicken biryani and chicken khadai along with Naan was delicious<br/><br/>On the whole it’s was a good dining experience except for their starters being little hard.

Went in here just to have a Kulfi after shopping at spinners. It was really authentic in taste unlike the other places offer the stick Kulfi. Must mention that this outlet does offer India food, sweets and indian chaat.
Deepak Sharma
Have been there few times and like their sweets, samosas and kachori along with karak chai, its good and instantly recharges you after a shopping trip to Spinneys. Their thali and food was good but have deteriorated in quality now !!!

Quality of food was average & the service was extremely poor. Definitely not a place i’ll visit in the future. Mention must be made of the staff behind the chaat counter - he was surly & passive to our queries!

No...<br/>Not Khana Khazana (Treasure of Food) for sure...<br/><br/>Went there after shopping @Spinnys.. Wanted to have some Indian Street food which they kinda advertise through the posters and all in the restaurant..<br/><br/>Tried VadaPav, PaniPuri and Chaat along with Karak Tea..<br/>Everything was bland and boring... It was edible, that was the only positive...<br/><br/>Not recommended..<br/><br/>Sorry for being harsh, but it is what it is....

Been there few times for their special kulfi and the special chat items available here...worth money I would say....tastes and service are good 👍🏽

After a bit of grocery shopping in the nearby spinneys was attracted by their sweets galore (obviously side effects of being a sweettooth 😍😍) ..so quickly went in n packed myself some motichoor ladoos, rasgullas n kalajamoon, I am a huge fan of motichoor ladoos n they dint disappoint me so here cums my alternative for Krishna sweets n chappan bhog if I'm near burjuman (both are my fav. places for indian sweets )
Sriram Gopalakrishnan
Very bad. Service crew didn’t even bother to check when I walked in. Even after waiting for a good 10 minutes and requesting for help as well nobody bothered. Don’t even know why such a place still exists.

Ambience is average!!They serve yummy samosa, kachori and pani puri.Chola bhatura is also tasty!<br/>however Thali is not that great with average taste!Service is quick! Portions are good!sweets and Kulfi are good!!<br/>Price is average!<br/>Snacks and sweets recommended for new explorers!!

All the food I had tasted on this series were either grilled, fried or baked and I was looking for a perfect end to all what I have eaten so far.<br/>On this sweet webisode, I headed to Khana Khazana to try out something which I was missing out on, SWEETS!<br/>Khana Khazana is known for the wide range of sweets they have to offer, but little did I know that I was in for an extravagant treat. I had heard of and tasted different types of sweets over the years, but I’d never heard of or tasted anything Khanna Khazana offered to me.<br/>Once I got there I was blown away by a number of sweets that had been offered to me. I was fortunate enough to be the first person to taste the new range of sweets which Khana Khazana had just put up for the beautiful festival of Diwali.<br/>The best thing about the sweets was that they only had 5% of sugar in it and the people with diabetes, like myself, can also eat it.<br/>Want to know everything else that happened? Then what are you waiting for? Go and check out the new webisode of The Hidden Greats on YouTube <br/>

Food was great, especially the chaat and the dosa. Dahi puri was definitely the star for us. The kulfi too was yummy<br/><br/>Simple good Indian food at its best !

I have tried them many times but I most of the times I feel disappointed..Food quality and taste is very average..Today I have ordered from them but like every time they are super slow..They commit extra time even for small order and even after that they call and ask what is the order..on delivery after long they delivered wrong order...

So i just went grocery shopping to Spinneys and found this restaurant at one corner inside Spinneys area itself.<br/>I saw a chat stall and I was tempted to try the Pani Puri as not eveyone makes great pani puris in Dubai.<br/>Service was quick, and the pani puri was jus too good.<br/>The puri was fresh and crisp, fried in non smelling oil.<br/>And the pani was actually the best part,it gave a very fresh ,made from scratch feeling that I love,<br/>This rating is just on the basis of the Pani Puri.<br/>It deserves 5 stars on that as really a good Pani Puri is difficult to find❤❤❤
Sayana Sherif
We hit Khana Khazana around dinner time one Saturday. It is a tiny little space tucked inside the Spinneys building at Mankhool.<br/><br/>The chaat items were really quite good. I had been craving pani Puri and Dahi Puri for a few days and I wasn't disappointed. The pani was cold and the Puri's crisp. The dahi was rich and just the right tartness. <br/><br/>We had the vada pav which was a little bigger than usual but didn't taste all that very great.<br/><br/>My mother scanned the menu and ordered pav bhaji which was unavailable, she then placed an order for Chola Bhattura. 10 minutes later when I walked up to the counter to pick up my vada pav I was told that they were out of Chola Bhattura. That ought to have been relayed as we placed the order, not 10 minutes later while the rest of the party was done with their meal!! <br/><br/>She finally settled for the thali/combo which had a portion of rice, 2 rotis, mattar paneer, gobi manchurian, dal and kadi.<br/>The rice was dry and hard, so were the rotis. The rest of the items weren't very special either. I wouldn't opt this on my next visit.<br/><br/>We had the kulfi which was pleasant. There isn't much to rave about though.<br/><br/>Priced at AED 10 for a plate of 6 Puris, AED 4 for one vada pav, etc khana khazana isn't the easiest on a pocket considering that we're being served typical India street food which was what got me by at the end of the month during my Uni days in India. <br/><br/>On the odd day that I crave chaat I may hit This place considering the proximity. But that is probably the best I've got to say.<br/><br/>Food - 3/5<br/>Service - 2/5<br/>Price - 2.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 2.5/5
Rahul
Chaat items are good, mithai have good flavor, fresh paneer is super soft. They taste very close to what you get in Delhi. Ready made food is too oily but one can still try the chole.
Ashdeep Sood
I have tried food at KK about 4 times now but everytime I find the quality just OK. Its nothing great, not even good. There sweets are fine, but then the jalebi we ordered was hard, not that I would recommend. <br/>The snacks like papdi chaat, aloo tikki, etc. all have a Mumbai feel to them. If you are looking for Delhi taste, KK is not the place for you. <br/><br/>Delivery was slow as well.
Christine
Hi guys I had pani puri here it was good the puris were nice crispy and tasty 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Ordered the below items online:<br/>Dhokla- the restaurant called me to say it was not available.<br/>4 plates aloo tiki- aloo tiki was totally burnt, wish I had taken a picture.<br/>4 dhal kachori- I was charged for it but it wasn't delivered. Rang the next day to check why I was charged for it and it wasn't in my delivery parcel, they said they forgot to put it in and I should collect the money/another item the next time I am there.<br/>Samosas- very average! <br/>Khajoor barfi- silver lining! This was the only thing good.<br/><br/>Overall, not happy!

This is pretty nice Indian eatery located inside the Spinney’s complex next to Bur Juman, which serves a very good variety of things from chaats, sweets, namkins to mains.<br/><br/>I have usually gone there for chaat and particularly their Pani Puri, which I quite enjoy. They serve both varieties of puri, with aata and suji, which is not common in Dubai. I felt this was one of the cleanest and hygienic places for Pani Puri in the area. Their other chaats are pretty good as well and their food is more Delhi taste, which is slightly heavier.<br/><br/>The place is well sized and fairly reasonable for the quality they serve. The service at this place is just about ok, with the staff merely doing their job and no real hospitality or courteousness.<br/><br/>All in all definitely a very good option for chaat, especially in the summer as its indoor and air conditioned so you are not sweating to eat chaat ☺.

Amazing place if you wanna get some good food quickly! They serve super fast and the food tastes really nice! The pricing is fair and there are many varieties! Really convinient and tasty.

Was craving some dosas for along time, and decided to drive down from JLT to try a new place that serves dosa. Sadly, Khana Khazana's Dosa making guy was on leave. They were evn out of pyaaz kachoris. <br/><br/>So we settled for some chaat items and delayed the dosa trip by an hour. The chaat was sub-standard with the raj kachori being more bitter than spicy. How can you mess chaat up guys ?<br/><br/>Blah experience to be honest!!<br/><br/>-- A drop of ink may make a million think. <br/>@AyaashPaw

I had been wanting to visit this place for a while now, so finally just dropped my shopping bags and enter this place. It has good quality chaat. I personally love their pani puri and kesar kulfi

If you are looking for authentic Pani Puri of North Indian Style, Khana Khazaana is the best Place. They are offering AED 10 for 7 piece of Pani Puri Plate. Very Crispy yet light, just like Delhi's style. I like Fresh Paneer also.
HUNGRY FOODIE Aka Deepak Garg
This place is inside the spinneys building, you can find it easily opposite to spinneys market, you must try their pyar kachori<br/><br/>We tried there chhole bhature today and did not liked that much as bhature were not crisp and little thick, thick bhature taste good if they have any stuffing inside like Paneer etc <br/><br/>They could improve
Anant
Ordered an Indian thali and a Chinese thali. Both of these were nice. Nothing great. The food was exceptionally oily. The quantity was decent though.

Only had snacks and sweets from this outlet. The kachoris are superb and is my go-to snack on many days. Sweets are also tasty. The restaurant is inexpensive, which is a plus.

Very bad service. <br/><br/>We had the discount coupons for Khana Khazana purchased from those door-to-door salesmen who visit our homes. <br/><br/>Of the different terms and conditions mentioned on the leaflet, one of them was that sweets would not be available at the time of festivals. Can totally understand that. <br/><br/>Coming to today, when we entered, we asked the cashier that we would like to utilize these coupons against chaat items. He refused, saying that you only can eat the items mentioned in the discount coupon card. We informed him that we had utilized the same coupons to eat chaat previously, he very rudely told us that "it is not my problem, it is the problem of the guy who accepted your coupons"<br/><br/>When we escalated it to the manager over the phone (who wasn't present on a weekend evening), he was rude enough to inform us that we should catch of the person who sold us the discount coupon leaflet. As per him he was not responsible for the discount coupons of the restaurant he was the manager of. 😄<br/><br/>Then we went to the cashier to place our order. Upon selecting items from the list that were mentioned in the leaflet, we were told that you wont get these items. When we asked why, he told us that we do not have these items. They had a few items ready and we were to select from those items only. <br/><br/>So basically, we had bought coupons from a restaurant whose manager is not responsible for the restaurant and the restaurant decides what items we eat. 😄😄😄<br/><br/>

💭 My thoughts - I wanted to review Khana Khazana on Zomato purely for their Kulfi! Its my favorite and my comfort food! I haven't had a chance to try the food or the other sweets but I would love to try it some day!<br/><br/>🎇 Ambience - Average😕<br/><br/>💰 Value for money? - Yes! <br/><br/>🏃🏻 Would I go back? - D'oh - for their Kulfi😱👻<br/><br/>For more Restaurant Reviews, visit my blog - Rockandrunway 🙋🏻💻<br/>

I always visit this place for snacks whenever I'm shopping for groceries at spinneys. Love their samosas, dahi puri and chowmein! Today I ordered paav bhaaji which was good but the bhaaji was a little bland. The service could be better as, the servers tend to mess up orders when there are a lot of people. Their chaats are better than others I've tasted.
Rishabh Tripathi
Worst service experience in Dubai and management please remove free home delivery option as me and friends called several times in different days and guys always tells abhi delivery nahi ho paayegi. your samosa,Kachoris and sweets are good but service is so bad that it removes taste effect.

To see this place change de way it did...just brilliant...More colour and light just the way to go..The variety of food options just too gud.

Khana Khazana Restaurant is located inside Spinneys next to Burjuman centre on trade centre road. This Khana Khazana is not to be mistaken with Sanjeev Kapoor's Khana Khazana. Both are not related. This Khana Khazana has 2 other branches, one in Meena bazaar, which happens to be their main branch and the other one is in Quasis.<br/>Khana Khazana has a bright and cheerful decor. The place is small with limited seating area.I normally do take-out from here.Whenever I come to spinneys for shopping,I generally buy snacks and sweets from Khana Khazana.<br/>Khana Khazana has Indian and Chinese cusine. They have a great variety to choose from. There are South Indian stuff like idli-vada and dosa. They have full fledged North Indian meals as well. The best snacks to eat here are the chaats,Vadapav, samosa,Kachori,Dhokla and they have great variety of sweets too.I especially like the jalebi and kulfi.Even the Chinese is good,it is more of an Indianchinese.I like the Kadak Chai too.<br/>The pricing is reasonable, the food is tasty. The place is clean and hygienic. But the service can be slow when it is a bit crowded.

Nice eating joint inside spinneys . Variety of chats vegetarian food and above all quality is good. Not bad for a food joint inside a shopping joint. Easy food access at convenient place of shopping.

Beware of these guys, distributing discount vouchers door to door for amazing offers, but when you actually call them, there are a 1000 clauses in menu items, for not delivering. Poor marketing and borderline scam I'd say!!

This restaurant is good and is very cheap. Quality and quantity of food is very good. They have very limited choice of dishes. Pure Vegetarian

Ok taste. Small place. Good variety. <br/>We were in spinneys and wanted to grab a bite so went there. <br/>The manager welcomed us and told about the wide range of items that are available and the sweets are from delhi etc. It gave us the feeling that the taste would be authentic. Ordered a pani puri to start with. The person making it was behaving as if he was doing a favour on us. <br/>We also ordered a samosa which was ok. <br/>A sev puri which tasted bad. The puris were also placed on top of each other (how the hell is one supposed to eat that). <br/>The pav bhaji was ok. <br/>Not a good experience.
Vasudevan Raghavachary
We were disappointed to see serious lack of hygiene. We requested for a take-away. The staff was seen fumbling with a plastic bag. In the end we saw him get the bag opened up using his lips! This is awful and a total lack of concern of hygiene by the restaurant that advertises its name worldwide. We just walked out, and chances of our going to any of this group restaurant is now zero.

Decent food with horrible horrible service and staff. Concerned about the hygiene of the place I asked the waiter something he just turned around looked at me with a blank expression and went to another customer. <br/><br/>Will ask everyone I know not to go there.

Awesome pani puris made and served on the spot. Reminded me of bombay!!!<br/>Also tried their vada pav and papdi chat. Papdi chat was decent. Vada pav was amazing :)<br/>If you are hungry and up for some indian snacks - this is the place you want to visit :)

Some improvement is needed in Indian chaats but the Deluxe Thali is a good value meal with options of daily vegetables and dal.<br/>Something most Indians crave for (especially bachelors).
