You never fail to amaze my tastebuds when I'm craving for good Japanese food along with my manga fix. ;)
When it comes to sushi you like or you don’t. It’s important to eat it, in the right places. And this is one of them. Friendly staff, nice decor, amazing food! The crab salad is just delicious!

A very professional and efficient team, from the phone call to the delivery,
Very tasty food the Jumeirah roll is just awesome !
Thanks for this dinner !
If I can recommend one thing for sure is Mother of Dragons 🐉 Deep Fried Hoso Maki with Salmon, Tempura - so delicious I didn’t want it to end 🤤 Great service, fast delivery, very happy with my order!
Absolutely loved their shrimp sushi. Everything was fresh and delivered very fast. Great service
The mother of dragons roll is one of the best pieces of sushi iv ever had
The sushi was all good. I ordered the Manga Sushi Moriawase and definitely I will order it again soon.
Fresh, tasty, and genuinely Japanese. delicious food, fast delivery. You have to try it. Nice experience, I'll be back.
Love it! Crispy shell crab was amasing! Fast delivery And great taste! Cant wait to eat it again! ❤️👍🏼 Sushi lover
The sushi was very delicious. The delivery service was excellent. We were super happy :)
My favourite dish is Asian Japanese food and this means Sushi. I have order from different restaurants and places, but honestly speaking with Manga the taste is just super tasty, the rice is well made on a very temperature volume, thus making your chewing much easier and more tastier, which leads to feel each bite after the other. The delivery was quick regardless the pandemic and everyone at home ordering online, but yet i got it in a very short period of time. And to finalize the experience, well im a cartoon person and when i see an Anime menu i was amazed, but when that anime was delivered on a take away bag i was super surprised. Well done guys, much recommend to every sushi lover. Enjoy...
Gold coin and mother of dragon are amazing, must try.. my stomach was full but I wasn’t able to stop myself from eating these. Platter looks beautiful and tastes delicious 😋 🤤
one of our favorite japanese resto here in dubai! not to mention that they have nice and cool place 💖 keep it up team manga sushi
I tried the sushi from this place I'm usually skeptical about trying sushi but this was really tasty but it was extremely over priced abut the view was nice
The ambiance here is incredibly cute starting from the modern Japanese style decor to the selection of anime art posters and classic mangas displayed on the shelves.
In addition, the food and their services were equally pleasing. To begin with, the sushi bar selections are scrumptious and displayed beautifully. My absolute favourites are Mother of Dragons, and Aladdin. Their sauces taste quite unique and adds distinct flavours to shrimp or salmon in each of their dishes. I enjoy the drizzle of mayo which further enhances the taste. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone even non sushi lovers to enjoy this delightful experience.
Really impressed with the refreshed Manga menu! The gold leaf was a cute novelty of course, perfectly complemented by the new fiery spiced sushi. If you like yours with bit more of a bite, then Manga is the way to go!
I believe the sushi tasted well, but the service has really gone worse since last time we visited.
We order a variety:
- Crab salad
- Volcano
- Rainbow
Pictures will tell you everything about the presentation ( lovely), we were ale to use our entertainer vouchers against the sushi dishes which was awesome!
Very cute and chill ambiance. If you like manga - definitely go here! Colorful art/decors. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the rolls and ramen. Kamikaze drink was great too. A bit pricey but worth the money.
Very nice food. Sushi is really tasty and I recommend it to any sushi lover. The ambience and the staff are nice and helpful. Will come back again

A friend had recommended this and we just loved it ....kids loved their Mac n Cheese and not to forget the delicious Cotton Candy Shakes .
We loved our sushi orders .. Aladdin -Godzilla and Volcano 👏🏼
As well had Chicken Teriyaki that was good
Perfect anime ambience and very courteous staff -smiling and helpful . It was a busy evening so best they have more helping hands (small suggestion)
Easily one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to, if not the best! The amine theme is present throughout the restaurant from the decoration to the staff's clothing and somewhat differenciates the place from other japanese restaurants.
However, the theme and atmosphere aren't the best part about this place - it's the food! I've tried nearly everything on their menu but the items which stand out the most are the Spider (soft shell crab) and Go Nagai. A must-visit place for all sushi lovers.
Been here 3 times and still love this place. Not into Anime and Manga. But one of the sushi place. The staff is good and efficient. Price seems a bit high.
Despite the fact that it’s a small hidden restaurant in a very quite mall, this place is one of the favorite sushi places in Dubai! Service is fantastic and super quick and never is compromised on the quality or freshness of sushi!! Absolute favorites is cutie honey , dragon rolls, and eel ..
Love the decor and the food. The service was good and surely recommend Japanese food lovers to visit this place.
Ambience - 3.5/5
Food - 4/5
Service - 3/5
Music - 3/5
Over all - 3.5/5
The platters are value for money.
This is one of the best sushi restaurants in town.
So authentic and so yummy.
Their Dubai mall branch don't serve platters as far as I remember so it makes it a little pricey.
Their staff are attentive and friendly.
Their dynamite rolls deserve a 10/10
Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. I've visited this place once with a friend upon her recommendation and it has since then become my favorite sushi in town.
I can't recommend one type of maki roll because they are all super delicious. Also the staff are super super friendly which makes the entire experience much more fulfilling. They usually serve something while you wait for your food which is nice.
Great Sushi place. lots of new sushi ideas and my favourite is the Golden Ring Sushi.its a must try and heard the owner is a local guy who have passion for Japanese Culture. well done
I like this branch cause its quite and but the staff there they dont seem to like it that much , they were so loud and laughing "i have no issues with that" but they were ignoring me and my guest
The food was really good same quality as in dubai mall branch they have different items like jumeirah roll , you wont find it in dubai mall menu presentation was more fun and nicer
But i dont think i will go there again soon s
This place serves good variety of fresh Sushi & Sashimi as well as tasty options of side dishes. the Ambiance is very different from any other place specially the unique collection of Manga Characters. My raring is as follow:
Food: Fresh, Tasty
Staff: Not too friendly
Ambiance : Very nice
Price: Very reasonable.
My Favourite dishes are: Tomato Soup, Crab Salad, Shrimp dynamite, Tempora, The Ultimate platter of Sushi.
Really good place to have sushi. it has a beautiful interior with manga books on shelves and action figures decorating the restaurant. The service was prompt and the staff were very friendly as well as dressed in cute manga outfits. Before the sushi is served, a complimentary spinach roll is served. I ordered the California rolls, Philadelphia rolls and Jumeirah rolls. All delicious and fresh even though i visited the restaurant late at night. A must try if you're a sushi lover.
I visited this place with my family and was pleasantly surprised. We reached here early for a Thursday evening and the restaurant was almost empty. The servers were attentive and polite,
To start off we ordered a portion of spicy edamame and TNT martini shrimp both of which were delicious.
For the mains we ordered the Volcano Roll, Aladdin roll and a vegetable maki roll. Not only was the presentation of the volcano roll very visually appealing but you taste the freshness of the crab despite all the sauces and ingredients in the roll. I also liked the Aladdin roll as I am personally a fan of shrimp vs. crab.
We also ordered a portion of the vegetable soba noodles which were quite tasty and could be eaten as is without the need of a curry.
we couldn't leave without trying out some of the homemade ice creams and we went with the choice of saffron and mango. While the mango was more of a sorbet, the saffron ice cream was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly creamy and not very sweet either - a perfect end to the meal.
Overall, we had a great experience and I would love to go back to try out more items on the menu.
one of the most underrated joints. they can surprise you with their sushi variety and superb service. a must visit for all sushi lovers. good variety of refreshments as well.
Manga Sushi is quite a unique experience. The quality of the the food (which is really important, especially if we're talking about sushi) is by far the best I've had in Dubai.
It puts a fun and exciting twist on the norm.
The Kani Kyuri Salad in particular was my favorite. It has an almost perfect balance of sweet and sour, the only downfall being the quantity.
This place used to be one of my favorite. What i love about the place aside from the food is the decor and the friendliness of the staff. A lot to choose from the menu, i miss the kani salad they have the best in town!
Okonomiyaki pan cake is to die for. What an awesome Japanese meal. It's a good portion for two. Had lobster rolls. Had soothing mouth melting avocado in it.
Highly recommended.
One of the best places to have sushi and read your favorite manga comics ! Some really interesting sushi options with amazing service. A place where you can just go and chill out. Definitely going to be a regular here.
Manga was always on my list of favourite restaurants for Sushi and maki rolls.
Revisited after a long time.....it is inside the Beach Park plaza on Jumeirah road...the mall looked almost deserted at around 8.30pm and to my surprise even the restaurant had no guests....it was only us and another table of 2.....I remember it to be quite buzzing during my last visits........ probably the present tricky navigation due to some new construction could be the reason...
Their menu has changed...
Ordered some maki rolls:
Yakuza
Mother of Dragons
Spicy Tuna
Godzilla in Dubai
Jumeirah Rolls
Wasabi Prawns
All the rolls were good....the fish was fresh and melt in mouth...
The Wasabi prawns were however a let down....even though the battered prawns were juicy....something was amiss their wasabi dressing.....didnt quite meet my expectation....the mango salsa served along was ok
However even after everything being good.......I somehow missed the WOW factor this time
good place if you want to enjoy family time with kids, my son loves this place. friendly staff and good food, value for money, Group on makes it better :)
It is the best sushi I had till now also the staff friendly and the service very nice my kids like a place to watch the pictures of loved cartoons heroes for them
By far the best sushi in Dubai. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I much prefer this branch to the one in Dubai Mall, although it's hard to get to.
I really love this place. Location is really good when you want a quiet place to enjoy your sushi. One of my favorite japanese restaurant in Dubai. Best sushi roll ❤️ Mother of Dragons.
I've always admired manga sushi from afar because of their eye-catching decor I finally had the opportunity to try it out this weekend. It's a fun quirky environment capturing the Japanese culture, the service was great and the staff very friendly. We tried a set menu from Groupon which included a salad soup and platter of sushi and sashimi. I would recommend the seaweed salad, it was fresh and delicious great start to the meal. What I didn't like was the tomato lobster soup, barely any lobster mainly a rich tomato soup. For their sushi the prawn was delicious with mayo sauce, the sashimi was fresh my favourite was the omlette sushi (tamago) it was sweet savory and yum. I would definitely come back to try more sushi on their menu. Thank you for having us!
This is the second best sushi place. The taste is amazing. The location is perfect ugh and the view! Let me not over exaggerate it for you. Go and try it our yourself!
The interior of this place is based on Manga comics & Japanese anime which itself makes it a unique concept which appeals.
As far as Sushi goes it is very reasonably priced. Don't expect anything top class or out of this world but definitely worth an experience to satisfy your sushi craving.
Now the food i tried included the miso lobster soup, California Rolls, crab sticks, sashimi (tuna & Salmon), maki rolls & quality was not compromised anywhere. Making sushi is an art & the taste very often lies in the quality of food used. Japanese & Sushi are usually on the expensive side this one however is reasonable.
I would give it 4 for the very unique concept above average Japanese cruise & the affordable price. I would suggest getting the Groupon before visiting the place.
Manga Sushi is located in the lovely complex called Beach Park Plaza, amidst many restaurants in the area of Jumeirah 2. The plaza can be found on your right just off the new bridge adjacent to water canal on Jumeirah Road. Why is there so much on the location? Because it could be easy to miss out on this place if you are not well versed with the area. Truly a place that brings out the concept from the name, Manga Sushi. You can find a lot Japanese Manga with figurines and also animé that you can opt for whilst having your meal. The interiors goes hand in hand with the concept and the area has been well utilized. In addition, the menu option is great. We decided to order: Wasabi Prawn, Naruto's Ramen with chicken and Manga Maki Moriawase. Just before the order, we were served spinach with sesame seeds with soy sauce underneath. The Manga Maki was a sushi platter with 18 pieces - basically heaven for a sushi lover. It consisted of Spicy Tuna, Otaku, California Roll and Go Nagai. The selection was a good mix of all the seafood. My personal favorite was the Spicy Tuna. It indeed had a kick of spice and the tuna was fresh. I wasn't a fan of the Wasabi Prawn, it was rather sweet than spicy. It should be called Sweet Chilli prawns instead. The outer layer of the breaded prawns did not taste fresh and flaky like it should. Naruto's Ramen was great. The broth was very simple yet flavourful, you can taste the chicken and the freshness of the broth. Just do not forget to add a dash of pepper while you are at it. The ingredients were mostly fresh. The portions are pretty good too. This is a hidden gem in the area and the food here is definitely worth a try!
I just love the place
Love the concept
One of the best sushis I've tried, out of the box varieties of sushi
Love the staff, they are so cute specially with the outfits
It's a must
Don't waste time take your sushi partners and be there
Maha Faleh
It's a hidden restaurant on the upper level of beach park plaza and I visited there after 4-5 years and was not at all disappointed. The quality of Sushi is much better than most regular sushi restaurants. My wife is not a fan of sushi but she also enjoyed the sushi to the fullest. The spicy tuna, the monster rolls and the tempura rolls were all delicious... look forward to going back there soon
The interior and yummy sushi of course. If you are into anime and manga culture, then this joint is perfect. Sushi were freshly made and quick with the preparation. Staff was kind and helpful. Interesting choices on the sushi and overall fun place.
Not in the best mall or the cool tenant mix you would expect. But this place stands out from the interior design perspective. It has a cool feel and well maintained with nice attention to details. Waiters are friendly and the menu is fun; but wish they add pictures as their presentation is appealing.
For STARTERS, CRAB SALAD: fresh and refreshing salad. Ask for extra spicy mayo as it comes with the sauce only on top.
As for the SUSHI options; MOTHER OF DRAGONS (Salmon and tempura). It is a must try. The sauce, crunchiness are mouth watering. The presentation is so good. It is the mother of the menu.
MONSTER ROLL (Seared salmon) comes with a jalapeño on top. Its good, special and worth ordering.
OTAKU (Shrimp tempura) full of taste and good crunch and triggers different taste buds.
SPIDER (Soft shell crab) a bit chewy and the crab flavor is too strong for my taste. Not bad but not my favorite.
The soy sauce offered is very salty and when you ask for low sodium, they get you what you ask for; however no difference. Still toooo salty.
In general it a place to try.
RECOMMENDED
Themed Sushi restaurant located At Beach Plaza Park Road works around it make it tricky to access for the time being. Decoration and food quality were a nice surprise, friendly staff also (thx Keiko); don't miss the Otaku and Mother of Dragon makis, also the beef Bops worth a special mention. Entertainer vouchers welcomed, which makes it even more appealing.
I have been a true manga sushi fan since it opened! It's been one of my favorite sushi places ever since. Their food in general is just too good, from their salads to their soups to their appetizers to their main dishes etc...
Favorite dishes:
Crab Salad
Seaweed Salad
Crazy Naruto
Crispy California
Beef Teriyaki
Yaki Soba
(Basically the whole menu)
Only reason I gave it a 4.0 is because their service has been horrible lately. I go there very often and it kills me to say it but it's true. They really need to up their service.
The crab salad and mother of dragons are a must
We order otaku and spider as well. They are good
The drinks menu need to be improved.
Service and atmosphere is very good.
I went there after I saw a very generous offer on Groupon and, I have to say, the sushi was delicious. It tastes fresh and the variety is impressive.
Ambience is a little boring though, and this is understandable since it is hard to reach this place due to the big construction sites all around it, but if you want good sushi and you are around Jumeirah then make sure to visit the place.
Crab and prawn nigiri were my personal favorites since I'm a fan of classical sushi, but they have a creative menu.
Decent place overall!
The ambiance was entertaining. Manga characters on the walls, as well as some Japanese books and stuff toys. Even the female food attendants were wearing Japanese school uniform which pumped up the ambiance.
We ordered Marshmallow milkshake and Kamikaze for the drinks. I must say I enjoyed my Kamikaze. Presentation of marshmallow milkshake was amusing. Also, we ordered 4 types of maki and the one we liked the most is the Gold Ring. The combination of prawn, cheese, omelette, teriyaki sauce, eel and avocado was just perfect. You can feel the burst in your mouth.
Price was okay considering the location, ambiance, and the quality of food.
Only downside was it was a bit difficult to get to the exact place as the new bridge was opened, hence, google map hasn't recognized the new bridge yet. We took a long route before we finally arrived at this place.
I would definitely want to try the gold ring again as well the other maki Manga sushi offers .
I came here after hearing good reviews about it. We ordered 4 different kinds of sushi. The names were funny and cute! The decor and ambience was pleasant. We ordered a green tea milkshake divided by 2 glasses. It was tasty but it felt like it was filled mostly with whip cream. Other than, great experience.
One of my all-time favorite sushi joints, never fails to deliver a good experience every time you step in.
The ambiance is just wonderfully Japanese, it's always great to sip on their Miso Soup while watching Dragonball Z and some nice smooth J-pop playing in the background, lives up to it's name in an exciting way.
The Sushi Rolls comes in yummy varieties, my favorites are Crazy Naruto, Otaku, Yakuza, Mac n Cheese and Mother of Dragons.
The drinks and deserts are creatively made, and comes in good portions as well. Kira is a nice Strawberry Milk-ish drink which has pineapples and coconut mixed with it (I think...I've been having it for so long I don't even care what is made of), Mochi Ice creams and Banana Split are seriously delicious, can't leave the place without them.
Overall a wonderful place if you're looking for a good kick at Anime/Manga infused meals and drinks, a must try to all Otakus :-)
Cheers!
My friend an I had been waiting to check out this place for a while now. We were slightly disappointed about the menu being different here and in the Dubai Mall branch. The management must attend to this and keep different menus on Zomato. The mother of dragon rolls were out of the world. Even the starter which we ordered, Prawns with Wasabi sauce was fantastic. One dish which was really bad was the Mac and cheese roll. We just did not relate to that. The spicy tuna here was really good.
This place has been on my bucket list since I visited my first Japanese joint in Dubai. So when I first walked in to the restaurant - it was covered with manga anime cartoons, and the staff were wearing Sailor moon kind of costumes to blend in with the theme. It was fun - as if it was comic-con with food options!
When we saw the huge sushi list in the menu, we asked for help and the staff promptly helped us with the popular dishes - Mother of Dragons, Otaku and Jumeirah roll. We ordered half plates for each to try other items in the menu later. Along with it we ordered Kamikaze mocktail - it was my favourite with blue curacao and it was just as awesome as I had expected it to be.
And then the sushi arrived - with one more variety than what we had ordered. The staff said - it was complimentary from the chef! :D
Honestly, Mother of Dragons literally stole the taste of the show, although the other ones were really very good. After the sushi, we ordered Yaki udon noodles, which was not as great as the sushi was, and TOri katsu, which was quite nice again.
So, this place I would definitely recommend to all the foodies.
One of my favorite sushi places. Sushi is fresh and tasty, good prices, relaxed and clean ambient. It's in my must visit options in a week.
My love for sushi began at Manga Sushi. The reluctance of having sushi was bought to end here. Never felt the raw taste of fish from a sushi here. Flavorsome and fresh maki rolls.
Fun part of this restaurant is the anime theme. Display Tv with anime, anime books to read moreover you have the staff dressed similar to anime makes it a lot more fun and more of Japan.
Always look forward to going to Manga. :-) people who love sushi and yet to taste sushi, go ahead and explore your palette guys!!
Manga Sushi really lives up to the name with the Manga theme in the design of the interior of the restaurant to the uniforms of the staff. The staff is very welcoming with each person greeting you as you enter and leave the restaurant. There are tv's playing Japanese shows along with plenty of artwork and items to keep you entertained while waiting for your food.
A cucumber salad is provided as an appetizer along with miso soup for most main course items. They have a wide variety of creative sushi rolls to choose from. We chose the spider roll and was quite pleased. The sauce could use a little tweaking, but Michelle really enjoyed.
We ordered the tori don and curry soup for the main courses. The chicken in the tori don was so flavorful with the glaze and sesame seeds. The curry soup was fantastic also, but didn't sit well with my stomach afterwards. This is probably no fault of the food.
Overall it's a neat experience at Manga Sushi and is worth a visit.
Not a bad place to eat sushi, nice atmosphere and I'm not talking about the anime/manga vibe it has...
The only bad thing that almost popped a nerve was the construction going around the place that drove me mad
In terms of food, it was good; had the mother of dragons, Godzilla, otaku, jumerah roll, California, and the yakuza
For salad it was the crab thingy, forgot it's name.
In summary, I'd say avoid the jumerah roll and the yakuza, everything else was golden, these two pieces ruined a piece of edible art.
A revisit is in order... After the construction is done
Been here a couple of times and I really really like this place! The theme all the animie stuff seems pretty cool. So I ordered the cotton candy milkshake, kamikaze and 4 plates of shushi the Mac and cheese, the cowboy, #mydubairoll and the mother of dragons. For dessert we had The sunrise ( which i did not fancy)
Their drinks were really nice. Especially the cotton candy one. Thumbs up for the presentation.
Their sushi mouth watering. Mac and cheese on sushi ? What more could you ask for 😍.
A must visit to sushi lovers!
Shany Approves✅
This place was a pain to find with all the construction. The place is nice with its ambiance and service. The drinks were fantastic and the TNT shrimp was bomb. Their sushi is unusual which is a plus for those who like to try something new; out of what I ordered I enjoyed the dragon "Game of Thrones" inspired one the most.
Also, the food at Manga got me stuffed for the rest of the day even though sushi doesn't do that for me.
I don't like anime and sushi is not my favourite dish BUT...This is a nice little place in Beach Road. Very good sushi and original concept for the location. Prices are reasonable and service is good. It is worth a try!
If you follow the animation like Naruto , Bleach or Death note, you have to try "Manga Sushi". The Interior design of the restaurant is designed specifically for fans of animation. You can have for the starter the "Kani salad" and for the sushi platters "Godzilla in Dubai" and "Otaku"👏🏻.
One of my favourite reasonable priced Sushi places in Dubai. I highly recommend it! The staff are always happy and friendly. The freshness of the sashimi is always perfect. Nice fun ambiance.
I visited Manga with my friends after a huge recommendation from them to try Japanese food. Since I dont eat Sushi we ordered 2 appetizers, TNT Martini Shrimps which I really love ... It was Awesome ... And crispy fried calamari which also lovely.
From house specials we tried Prawn Wasabi and Shrimp with Vegetables noodles ... All the dishes were out standing and unique taste for me.
Manga really made me love the Japanese food and for sure I will come back to try more dishes.
Manga sushi was pretty busy for a weekday. I liked the quirky, unique Japanese anime décor. The servers were sweet but didn’t have much knowledge of the menu and the food took ages to arrive.
Tried:
*Godzilla in Dubai – This was the best thing we ordered! Everything worked so well in this roll and it was a burst of flavor with every bite! The wasabi mayo was delicious too! Recommended!
*Mother of Dragons – Another good sushi, I really enjoyed the signature sauce. The only thing I didn’t quite like about it is the size – it’s quite a mouthful!
*Yaki Soba chicken and veggies – This was a good main. The chicken was well cooked and the vegetables were crunchy. It was also very saucy; which was a balance between sweet and salty. A good portion to share.
*Chicken Katsu Curry – this was the worst thing we ordered! If it wasn’t for this dish, my rating would’ve been a 4. The curry was a thick, pasty texture and tasted really bland. The rice was definitely not sticky nor steamed; it tasted stale and was hard. The plate didn’t even look appetizing as it came out. Unfortunately this was the last thing to arrive at our table and the last thing we ate, which left a very nasty lingering taste.
A good dining experience (minus the curry), will be back to try more sushi!
I think the most novel part of coming to Manga are the dolled up waitresses who rush out chanting and bowing their chorus of Japanese greetings – it’s flattering, funny, embarrassing and pathetic at the same time. The restaurant is supposedly designed to look like a space ship – it’s certainly modernist and funky enough, with an abundance of Manga characters adding to Japanese-ness (is that even a word?). Whatever, it’s a fun place to be.
The food is good. The Seared Salmon Salad we started with was fresh, crisp and lightly seasoned – not like some places which drown their salads in sauce. There could have been a little more Salmon but what little there was came perfectly ‘just touched by a flame’ on one side and still beautifully orange/pink on the other. My Chicken Ramen came in a BIG bowl packed with chicken, mushrooms, baby bok choy and lots of other goodies including thankfully (and to my surprise) authentic Ramen noodles. What I look for above all else in a good Ramen is of course the stock or broth – theirs was very good, far more flavoursome than Wagamama, less so than Bentoya. I tucked in with such gusto (and slurpy, burpy noise) that my guest, who was originally only going to have some salad, quickly ordered a similar Ramen, be it without the noodles (diet). Last up came an order of assorted Sushi – called the Manga Sushi Moriawase, it’s 18 pieces of Sashimi, Maki and Nigiri for AED140 – not too bad. The quality of the Sushi was very similar to Sumo – fast foodie and chunky but yummy nonetheless.
A curious things happened with our desert. We ordered a two scoop potion of Japanese Green Tea Ice Cream or Matcha to share. When it arrived the three of us simultaneously (and quite diligently) dug in only to look at one another in puzzlement after our first mouthful – Wasaba? Yup. Wasabi Ice Cream. They had brought it to us by mistake. Well, they took it back and returned with the correct order (and one extra free) plus a million apologies but you know what? I kinda liked the Wasabi Ice Cream and will go back to try it again sometime.
Service was very friendly if a little confused but not, as my teenage daughter says, in a bad way – anything to fault quickly made up for with pretend Japanese over-exuberance. Funny. All in all, a good alternative to Sumo and much more fun particularly the all you can eat Sushi nights on Saturday (I think) and Tuesday.
It nice place with creative ideas for people who loves japan Korea ANIME ❤️💕
The staff are friendly
But the food wasn't the best
But i enjoyed the environment so much
I would recommend people who loves sushi to go and try it
We have a flat in the neighbourhood, and since my kids are sushi freaks, we end up having lunch here quite often when we are in Dubai.
Some of our favorite starters are the tomato and lobster miso soup, the edamame with chili, the asparagus with garlic and the seared salmon salad. We like their wasabi and mango shrimps, and order various sushi rolls (dragonball, spider, yazuka, otaku and others). Their green tea ice cream is also a good choice.
We usually enjoy our food here, yet the flavours and quality are not consitent which makes this place difficult to rate. It could be anything from 3 to 4.5 depending on the meal.

Best sushi place in Dubai, simply for the creativity of the menu and the sushi they serve!
We visit in the afternoons on our way home and are always excited for the unusual combinations this place offers. Macaroni and cheese sushi is the favorite. This place is amazing for those who live and breathe sushi but fancy trying something new. Those who haven't eaten sushi please note this is not the usual treat you would be served at a traditional place.
The person who has created the menu is a visionary, very exciting and satisfying! Their drink selection is spectacular - I recommend the fairyfloss (candy floss if you're American) milkshake ... Divine!
Enjoy - you won't be disappointed!!
In my opinion best sushi in dubai .... The best sushi I had till date and very friendly and welcoming staff with a great atmosphere . Definitely worth a try if your looking for great sushi

You don't have to fumble around searching and researching for the best Sushi restaurant in Dubai anymore.
Manga Sushi is a very popular type of sushi shop based on the famed Japanese Comics. There is something very unique about this place and makes it stand out from the rest of the Sushi joints. Whether you are a fan of this animated genre of cartoons or not, Manga Sushi is open to anyone & everyone, and is a common choice for visiting tourists alike.
If you like your sea food and are comfortable with having Sushi, you will definitely like Manga Sushi!

@AyaashPaw
The best sushi we have had so far, n m yet to try toko and nobu
I availed a groupon voucher here last evening and staff was very friendly n warm.
The sushi was simply amazing
V had the sushi platter which had a good variety of sushi. The sashimi was melting in my mouth, v also had the seaweed salad which was amazingly yummy. Half way thru our meal the staff came out and started dancing which was surprising to all diners. For the dessert my husband dared the green apple wasabi ice cream which as per him was "kickass". I wud suggest a group of people to order one scoop to share as u cannot allow urself to get a kick after every spoon.
I wud definitely recommend this place to sushi lovers
Keep up the good sushi
