Following a few phone calls to the amazing Manageress at Palm Court Lobby Lounge we found ourselves all present and correct in a secluded corner of the lounge, with a stunning view of the Burj Al Arab as our back drop. I had deliberately booked afternoon tea at 4 pm as the sun would be coming down and the seating area would soon be shaded. We chose to dine indoors, there is however a great outdoor terrace.
We wasted no time in placing our orders and it wasn’t long before the drinks were served, followed by a succession of miniature sandwiches. Following the delightful sandwiches we were presented with warm scones with cream and jam (two each), and finally a plate crammed full with chocolate cakes, mini lemon meringues, raspberry sponges and other sweet offerings. Everything was beautifully presented and displayed in mock bird cages, faultless. Thank you to the team at Palm Court for making it a memorable and very special experience.
Palm court is café located in one of the trending 5 star hotels of Dubai, Jumeriah Beach Hotel. It offers a peaceful atmosphere with a fine dine experience. I had gone for an evening time coffee with my mom. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. As it was winter when I visited, we chose to sit outdoor and another reason to choose this is because of the mesmerizing view of the Burj Al Arab. Even though it was outdoor seating, the table and cushion were clean. The choice of colors added much to ambience. The table had a glowing glass instead of candles on the center of the table.
We placed the order for a Paradise Island Mocktail and a Nero Bellante. The staff proactively explained each ingredient in both these drink. Paradise Island Mocktail was a blend of pomegranate and passion fruit seeds with apple syrup. The drink was priced Aed 40. The Nero Ballante drink was a warm blend of espresso and hazelnut syrup; priced Aed 40. As the temperature dropped and it began to get cold; we chose to move back indoors
They served a bowl of fresh dry fruits and nuts. The bowl comprised of crispy almonds, peanuts and much more. Along with the drinks they also offered almond cookies and I must it was just outstanding.
The cookies had a very unique taste; it was chewy and gooey with almond flakes on the outer covering.
The key highlights of this spot would be as mentioned would be the quite atmosphere with a unique view and the live instrument music played which added a lot to the soothing and peaceful atmosphere
I visited this place as part of the Craft and Chill event hosted by Zomato. We started our evening with a variety of sweets and savouries. We were also served various drinks ranging from champagne to non alcoholic options!
We returned to Palm Court again to wrap up our evening with some high tea served by a Jing tea master. My personal favourite was the Hibiscus tea. We also had lemon meringue tarts, scones and so many other bite sized delectables to choose from!
In the centre was a beautiful set up of lovely decorated cakes and we were also given chocolates and matcha cake slices to take home along with many other goodies from the Jumeirah Beach Hotel team.
The Palm Court is a great option to catch up with friends or family over high tea and some appetisers.
Had a great time mingling with foodies and bloggers sharing the same love for food as me. Thank you Zomato and Pallavi Sangtani as always!

My very first Zomato meetup started here at Palm Court located conveniently at the Lobby Level of Jumeirah Beach Hotel. I had been here just a few days prior to the meetup with friend (and now bollywood actor) Parineeti Chopra as she was put up in this very hotel. The place was completely deserted that particular evening. But at the meetup, this very place was buzzing with positive energy all around.
We were welcomed with a glass of fine Proseco and few snacks to start the evening. The place quickly became crowded with a lot of Zoman's around us. We were then led to an outdoor event with much more space at the Ocean Blue Bar with more free-flowing drinks, sheesha and food.
After sunset, We returned back to the Palm Court for Tea and desserts which were exotic and special attention was given to all of us by the team of Jumeirah group and Zomato throughout the evening.
All in all, a lovely experience with the Zomato familia.

We were first led into the Palm Court lounge. Located at the heart of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel lobby, this spacious lounge offers a variety of selections, mostly sweets and a few savory options such as the mini sliders. We got a choice of welcome drinks, offerings of both juices and spirits. They also served us high tea which involved a Jing Tea master that enlightened us about different flavors and mixes. I particularly preferred the blackcurrant tea which was served in most Michelin star restaurants.
It was pretty hectic that time so it was hard to get a grasp of everything that was there. But nonetheless I tried my best to capture moments as always and give some additional info about the food provided. We had:
Mango praline, Raspberry White Chocolate, Pistachio White Chocolate
Decorated Cakes
Mini Lobster Sliders
Assorted Cake Slices
Smoked Salmon & Cream Canape
Fruit Tarts
Sundry Macaron Flavors
Mini Wellingtons w/ Meat Gravy Pippettes

Half of the night was spent at Ocean Blue, also a part of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel but more of an al fresco type of dining by the beach which I will save for a separate post with a video footage of me failing terribly to make my own bread despite the attempts of the chef to teach me! We got goodies courtesy of the hotel and Zomato to cap off the night. And what better way to enjoy it than to share these with family and friends.

As a part of the #zomatomeetup , #carft&chillevent we were invited to Palm Court that is located in the Lobby Level of the grand Jumeirah Beach Hotel. This place is where the hotel hosts an afternoon tea, we were offered cocktails, mocktails, red & white wine and champange too as welcome drinks upon arrival.
The craft was the chef creating adorably cute chocolate balls in different flavors. The other items, that included the delicious bite size pastry and cake looked very tempting and appealing too. I cannot forget the sight of the amazing wedding cake that was the center piece of the evening, surrounded by delicious matcha cake give aways. We returned here, again after our outdoor event at the Ocean Blue Bar, to have some soothing and refreshing teas and also tasted some amazing pastry as well. All is all, like all other #zomatomeetup this was a total spoiler too. Thank you #zomatouae & Pallavi for spoiling us always.
Thanks to Zomato, I was invited to the #CraftandChill event in association with Jumeriah Beach Hotel, around first week of November for the #Zomatomeetup.
Palm Court is located at the Lobby Level of Jumeriah Beach Hotel. It is a lounge offering international cuisine. The Palm Court also holds afternoon tea everyday. I had heard about their afternoon tea from my friends and I was happy to experience their high tea.
After arriving early in the evening, we were offered a welcome drink. They serve wine, champagne, cocktails and mocktails.
After the welcome drinks, we were taken to their outdoor lounge Ocean Blue for a relaxed al fresco dining experience.
Later, we returned to the Palm Court Lobby Lounge for the afternoon tea. Palm Court is spacious and has a relaxed vibe. The service is top notch. We enjoyed the high tea experience. We were offered a variety of Jing Tea. Most of us loved the blackcurrant tea. The Jing Tea master explained to us about the variety and flavors of tea. It was very informative.
They offer a wide range of lip smacking cakes, pastries and other desserts. They also serve mini appetizers.
I especially loved the way the desserts were displayed. Good food and drinks, amazing hospitality and great atmosphere. I would definitely want to come back again for afternoon tea at Palm Court Lobby Lounge.
My next weekend plan is to enjoy the afternoon tea at Palm Court and then later in the evening, to head out to Ocean Blue to chill out in a beautiful setting with a stunning view of Burj Al Arab.
Downside of this place - a bit crowded
Upside of this place - a beautiful little lounge close to the beach with good drinks, great bites and an excellent atmosphere to lounge about on lazy weekends.
Thanks to the Zomato team for the meet up invite and to JBH for hosting us!
Once again the #Zomato team did a great job!
We foodies thanks to Pallavi Sangtani were invited for a #craftandchill themed meetup. We started off with the Palm court lobby and then to Ocean blue. Later even returned to the lobby for an afternoon tea.
So our evening started off with a big welcome, huge smiles everywhere , drinks with options of red, white wine, champagne and even mocktails. On the side displays of tempting desserts and a live demo of popsicles as were also held. The chef gave us three different flavours of popsicles being - raspberry, mango and pistachio from which I preferred the latter. Going foward I tried the lobster sliders which was really good and the mini wellingtons - each of it had a syringe with the meat gravy filled in, this technique brought in a lot more flavour - loved it.
Later during the event we were once again back to the lobby for an afternoon tea experience. This time there was a Jing tea master who explained about the variety of teas and flavour. My personal favourite was the blackcurrent - and i will definitely be back for more of that :)
Overall a well organized event, beautifully set, good food, amazing view and an amazing time with other fellow foodies - made it a memorable night!
We were greeted warmly by staff of the Hotel at the beginning of our @zomatouae meetup. Thanks Pallavi Sangtani for the invite. Waiters gave us a selection of welcome drinks and walked around to make sure that everyone had a something to drink at all times. The service here was nothing short of perfect. The Palm Court is a very classy and spacious dining area. However due to the event, it seemed a little smaller than it is due to large numbers of people standing around.
Zomato sure know how to host an event. Teaming up with the Jumeirah Beach Hotel they hosted a #craftandchill evening inside The Palm Court Lobby Lounge and outside at Ocean Blue for the latest #zomatomeetup
Upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink with choices of mocktails, red and white wine as well as champagne from the lovely smiling staff.
The Palm Court Lobby Lounge holds an afternoon tea and there are displays of the most tempting looking desserts.
There was a live demonstration station where the chef was making bite size chocolate pops in three flavors. Pistachio with a white chocolate centre, mango and praline and raspberry with a white chocolate filling, the latter being my favorite due to the freeze dried raspberry sprinkles on top which added a sour crunch.
As well as mini appetizers of lobster sliders and mini wellingtons. I loved the idea of the gravy syringe in the mini ox tail wellingtons. It added that extra flavor burst inside your mouth.
After Ocean Blue, we returned inside to the Lobby Lounge for some Jing tea sampling and mini cakes and pastries served inside a giant birdcage. The favorite among myself and most of the other foodies was the blackcurrant and hibiscus tea.
The food quality and presentation was impressive and I would happily go back to Palm Court Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea.
High Teas have become quite a norm in Dubai and when I have to impress some dear ones I try to take them to some amazingly special places which not only serve teas but also that extra bit of attention to my needs. Palm Garden at Jumeirah Beach Hotel provide quite the right service and a peaceful ambience.
I was here with my family to enjoy a High Tea experience given to me by Cosmopolitan Magazine. On my arrival here our table was reserved but how I wish the restaurant was located on a higher floor rather then the ground floor to make our experience even more memorable.
We ordered a set of 2 high teas which came in a pretty little open caged theme tier. The first layer consisted of a few sinful desserts which were perfect for an afternoon like this. The second tier had a few breads and croissants and accompanied with that were some beautiful flavoured jams, A nice treat for kids especially. Lastly the third layer was something which I enjoyed a lot, it had a mix of snacks. Good thing everthing was light and you don't feel stuffed. The service was a bit realxed otherwise it was evening well spent.
Infact this would be a perfect place for a afternoon meeting or just to unwind yourself and relax. We later even had a good evening walk on the hotel beach where I enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
