I ordered their chicken dum biryani for my team and they were satisfied and portions are huge. Delectable and a real value for money. Great customer service too. Will definitely order again.
The veg starters including paneer lasooni and broccoli Tikka were amazing but the chicken tikka kathi roll was a let down and the chicken kosha could have been better! The restaurant needs to realise that rolls cannot have huge chunks of chicken in them and the mint sauce just made it super spicy with no overall taste - a good kathi roll should have the paratha crispy - chicken pieces small and garnish should have lemon sprinkle diced onions and green Chilli (optional) - that makes a kathi roll a winner - unfortunately Chowringhee has got it completely wrong - earlier we tried pahadi roll and this time also same experience- let down - the kosha could have had lesser spice! But the veg was amazing succulent paneer and right spices! Kudos for the veg - please improve the non veg specially the rolls!!
We dined at the restaurant on our trip. And after that somehow we would head there only to get our hunger pangs satisfied for the remaining days. Totally awesome for both dinning and delivery.

Chowringhee is located in the busy streets of Karama. Small and cozy restaurant with simple but neat interior.
We had ordered for few starters. The Mutton seekh Roll was very nice with stuffing of onions & served with green chutney. Paneer lasooni tikka with white marination is excellent and also the Aloo ki Gutki was one of the best we have ever eaten. Very good in taste and consistency of the filling. The Tawa machi Hamour fish had a brown Marination and could be better.
Chole Buture was very scrumptious, bature was very soft and surprisingly very less oily. Butter chicken was creamy and rich with perfect consistency, it had soft pieces of chicken. Dal makhani tasted amazing too. The aloo pyaaz parathas was the best, its combination with dal makhani and butter chicken was truely delicious.
Overall worth a visit.
You know a restaurant is special when you see celebrities and/or the owner/s of other restaurant/s dining there. I was treated to a double-whammy when the dashing Tollywood heartthrob and owner of Biryaniwalla & Co, Reza Ashtarian walked into Chowringhee’s yesterday. Among his entourage was the man who brought us NH17 which, until it closed, was one of my favourite Indian coastal cuisine restaurants in Dubai. In my books, these guys are part of Dubai’s F&B elite.
Excellent food taste, quality & variety of choices especially the Bengali Fusion ones...delivery parcels are nicely & carefully packed....I have no other words to say except thumbs up, cheers & long live...:)

Recently ordered good authentic Indian food from Chowringhees which was a bliss during this time.
Every dish is packed with flavor and great aromas. Starting with the Mix Platter, consisting of variety of tender pieces of Chicken & Mutton Boti’s. Malai Boti, Tikka Boti, Seekh Kebab. Each and every chicken had a distinct flavor and was cooked to perfection.
For curries, the chicken gravy & dry mutton gravy were finger licking good. The food was so delicious and perfectly paired with wheat parathas. Not too oily or overpowering. Well balanced & flavorful.
The biryani was outstanding. Aromatic and reminded of the authentic flavors of our native town. Long-grained rice flavored with exotic spices & saffron, and layered with chicken, and a thick gravy

A desi food craving satisfied courtest Chowringhees. Got food delivered from this place for the first time. On time delivery and great packaging are some plus points in addition to their food. They have quite good variety if you’re craving for desi food. I called for some of their bestsellers! Tried the Vegetarian Kebab platter for starters - this included Vilayati Broccoli Tikka, Aloo Ke Ghutke, Veg Seekh Kebab and Paneer Tikka. The kebabs were perfectly cooked! Was glad that the kebabs were filled with flavours till the last bite and not at all bland. My favorite among these was the Aloo ke Ghutke - highly recommend trying! For mains, we tried the Veg Biryani, Dal Makhani and Subz Deewani. The biryani was aromatic and delicious! Dal Makhani is something i’d highly recommend when you’re trying this place - it won’t disappoint you for sure! Moving on, the Subz Deewani was a mix of vegetables with good masala tuning - this one’s my favorite from the meal as well. With the variety, quality and price they offer; Definitely not the last time ordering from here!

One of those quarantine days stuck at home you just want to stick to your comfort food, mine being Indian cuisine. Located in the heart of Karama this restaurant serves authentic Indian & Bengali food that typically tastes similar to the food in Delhi. Catering to varying palates, restaurant features an array of dishes.
We ordered lunch, quite ravenous and decided to forego the starters. We resolved to sample those on our next visit.
Mutton Kosha : An iconic Bengali delicacy means “bhuna”, which involves slowly cooking a gravy over low flame for a very long time to get a rich, dark-brown gravy and melt-in-the-mouth mutton pieces. Chowringhee's makes it to perfection.The flavours burst in your mouth with all correct flavours of spices binding it. ( My recommendation )
Paneer Butter Masala : We all love paneer, don’t we? The creamy dish had a lovely tang coming from the tomatoes with a creamy , velvety feel to it. But unfortunately to my viewpoint it was slightly too sweet for my palate.
Dal Makhni : Creamy and buttery Dal Makhani is one of my most loved dish. This dal has whole black lentils cooked with butter and cream and simmered on low heat for that unique flavor. It tastes best with garlic naan. The preparation resembled the Dhaba style Rajasthani dishes. We loved it's taste and intend to order again in future too.
Dessert : Could anything top this experience? The answer was a resounding yes! The phirini topped with almond flakes . We were stunned beyond words. The creamy goodness was gently infused with the flavors of saffron and cardamom.
Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. They really look after your needs if you request customization. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem in karama. It's the place to visit, if you love Momo's and Bengali food. Staff is kind and friendly. The place is small with 3 tables
