Our family like this restaurant. The food is really tasty and fresh maded. inside the restaurant is cosy but have to clean all dust. What we didn't like a lot the stuff is very poor. Stuff they don't know anything. Very slow and really braked. The manager or owner just escaped in front of my eyes lol when I asked them to call him. But the food really good.
One of the best places I have found in Dubai. The decor is simultaneously modern and quaint, and the menu has a great range of delicious and healthy options. You can taste how fresh the food here is. If you're not going for the healthy option, Wooden Cellar has an amazing range of cakes and baked goods.
The most bigger and taste gyros !!!! Also the traditional Greek stifado with lamp . The tastes is unbelievable . Plus very nice design and decoration. And retails product . Thank you wooden Cellar !!!!!

This is a nice place , absolutely you will relax very quite place. And i ordered the beef stronganof with mashed potato even im not totally beef lover i ordered it because i want to try. Then when they served it. Im very amaze the taste is very tasty and creamy 😍😍 and they have also fresh juices you can choose. They making on the spot the juices 🍹
And the staff is very helful and i hope one day i come again to try something sweets 😊

A nice cosy place that has a selection of desserts and food. They have beautiful indoor seating and an outdoor seating with a small kids play ground near it.
We didn't order any food but their their delicious desserts. The carrot cake was not to my taste but the other things were pretty good.
You must have the espresso cheesecake when you visit. It's a bit pricy at 40 dirhams for a slice but it's pretty big and absolutely delicious.
Prices are a bit on the higher end.
A nice place and the staff were nice as well. A little bit expensive but a good place overall.
Note: please work on your salads because they can be done better for sure
I ordered kebab which was cooked served very well, staff are very helpful and friendly, setup is very good and cozy.
I tried also the sticky chicken with mashed potato, it was amazing and must try.
Next time will try something sweet.
The place is great, little pricy and the service isn't the best, but the food tastes very good and the ambience and location makes it perfect. Quite corner.
We went for late breakfast but instead we couldn't resist the open buffet for lunch for 95 dirhams. Interesting cuisine filled with different kinds of salads and seafood dishes. I had shrimp salad along with fish dip and beans salad with eggplant dip. For the main course they serve my favorite spinach pita. They also had octopus pasta, squid with spinach, rice, fish balls and other items. It's a small restaurant hidden in Sports City but has great cuisine and food options. They also have tasteful fresh juices.

If Jones the Grocer and Lime Tree Café had a love child who was Greek, it would be Wooden Cellar, in Sports City. As high rent becomes more unfeasible, independent restaurants owners are moving to less obvious locations in the hope of being able to afford to pay their staff and put a little back in their own pockets.
Randomly stumbled upon this joint. Really love their deli/pantry vibe with the artisan jams and such. The service was quite fast and the food was really good! Found it strange that they close Monday's, but would definitely go again soon.
Delicious deserts, smoothies & food. Greek products. Gift shop. Friendly service. Recommended also for the people who are on a diet since it has a big variety of healthy, diet dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served. There is an area that kids can play.
I recently discovered this little Greek spot and it was a very pleasant surprise. Loved the breakfast .. soft fried eggs with yogurt and cheese on pita bread. Had a plane tomato and cucumber salad on the side and it was fantastic! The Greek coffee it's a must have as well.
Searching for a nearby breakfast, Wooden Cellar came up on the Zomato app and it looked quite appealing and a good price for breakfast. Located at the end of the canal walk, Wooden Cellar is a well designed and spacious restaurant which also appears to sell Greek foods for home cooking.
We ordered an omelette and eggs your way and was quite pleased with the size of the meal. The omelette was loaded with feta cheese and olives. The eggs were pretty standard, but well cooked and both dishes priced right. Bread was also provided.
The service was friendly, and as we were the only ones in this morning, service was fast and responsive. The restaurant itself is homey inside and had a tv showing sports highlights. I liked it here and the price was good for the food but a little high for the coffee although.
I love this hidden gem tucked away in Sport City with delightful wooden decor. A nice, quiet place to grab coffee and authentic Greek sweets. I ordered the Savory Waffles and they were excellent. Prices are reasonable and service was friendly. Will be going back for sure!
Dubai diners are spoilt for choice ! But a good restaurant that services honest to goodness hearty meals cooked with love and served with attention , will always stand out!!
One such is wooden cellar, tucked away in dubai sports city but qualifies to be a favorite haunt among the good food lovers of motor city and sports city. My husband and I walked in one afternoon with a huge appetite and no expectations.
The best combination that paved the way for what turned out to be a lovely experience with great food , superb ambience that has managed to stay long after the meal!

Talk about a hidden gem. Wow! I can’t believe this place has been sitting literally under our noses for so long without us realising. The Wooden Cellar is a picturesque little Greek restaurant designed…um, like a wooden cellar. My experience there is limited to breakfast but let me assure you, there are few places in the area where I would prefer to spend a lazy weekend morning. It’s just so laid back, so comfortable, so Greek. It’s one of those places you’d feel ok walking around bare foot in. I did. It’s also spotlessly clean. My feta stuffed Greek omelette was excellent. So was the French toast my friend had. Service was friendly, chatty and attentive enough – any more attentive and it wouldn’t be Greek. I’m absolutely smitten by the place and haven’t stopped raving about it. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Only issue was the soft drinks, they did not have any regular brands, had to drink a Greek cola which wasn't sugar free and a taste I am not used to and costs 10 times more.
We were keen to try it. A new Greek place in a nice and quiet area. We had a variety of starters and main courses. All the dishes was tasteful and it is difficult to say what i love more... The desserts was also great. The ambience and the atmosphere was amazing as well.. A really must visit place and for sure i will recommend to everyone.

We were craving for some Greek food that day so fortunately we stumbled upon Wooden Cellar at Motor City. It's a cozy, rustic place and safely tucked away from the busier main area where the other restaurants are. Love the takeout packaging, very neatly put in a brown box with a transparent plastic see through middle.
What We Had:
Eggplant roll up - thinly sliced and grilled eggplant, stuffed with Parmesan, baked with marinara sauce, topped with melted mozzarella cheese, with feta cheese and oregano : this is definitely the best way to start your food as the eggplant was grilled to perfection and tasted amazing with the 2 types of cheese melting harmoniously in your mouth, very earthy flavor, just the right amount of creamy and not overly mushy, real comfort food, a must for vegetarians and eggplant lovers
Stuffed chicken kleftiko - seasoned chicken breast baked in papillote, layered with tomatoes, onions, potatoes, peppers and feta cheese : this was nicely wrapped inside a wax sheet that you need to cut through to open, thoroughly enjoyed this as the taste was as vibrant as its looks, very filling, aromatic and perfect for when you're looking for a healthier meal option, ample amount of both chicken and vegetable pieces
Spanakopita - spinach, feta, scallion, fresh herbs baked in buttered layers of filo pastry : found this quite dry so didn't enjoy it as much, the layers could've been softer or more tender
Portokalopita - Greek orange, yogurt, filo cake : SO GOOD. I usually veer away from orange oriented desserts but this was so scrumptious, very moist yet compact and great to sink your teeth into as you get that mellowed down taste and texture, but quite heavy so a small piece is definitely more than enough, the top had a nice roughness to it whilst the rest remained soft and juicy
Mpougatsa : once again made with filo but was a bit too creamy and mushy for my liking
Will definitely order more from here next time as we're looking forward to try their other offerings.
This is the place where you can eat blindly, knowing that this food is fresh, homemade, clean and simply delicious. The restaurant is cozy with a rustic flair and beautiful interior. It has shelves of fresh organic produce, jars of homemade jams and marmalades, cookies and bread and greek products perfect for entertaining. I picked up the balsamic glaze and the spiced feta jar, and it was to die for, been adding it to pretty much anything I eat.
Had their vegan dessert (banana and chocolate) and it is certainly the best thing I've had for a while. Good job on the teasing, I can't wait for the opening to try their dining menu!
Well a nice place good ambience and nice food. They haven't opened completely yet but coffee and desserts are available. I tried the chocolate cake which was quite nice. The Nutella croissant didn't impress me much the coffee was nice. Will definitely be going back once they are fully operational. Must say looks interesting though.

Cute little cafe in sports city. I think the place will better benefit if all the lights were the same. The white fluorescent-like light in the middle throws off the ambience in the middle of the cafe, but a really nice place to get coffee and dessert.

Great fresh and homemade food. We had a good family breakfast here and ordered various types of eggs for the grown ups, pancakes for the kids along tea, coffees and freshly squeezed juices. The food took its time to arrive despite the restaurant was not really busy, however this was forgotten once the food was served, as it was really tasty. There was a small mixup in the order, which was being compensated for with a 40,- AED discount on the bill, a nice gesture. The restaurant have a nice interior with a rustic and industrial theme. There is a retail display area where a lot of Greek food specialities are displayed in an inviting manner, and we ended up buying some Greek Olive oil and homemade balsamic apple vinegar. Total bill was 220,- AED for 5 persons, and taking the quality of the food and drinks in consideration it is quite fairly priced. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return and do recommend you to try out this little gem of a restaurant.

One of my favorite places in Dubai. We were living in Dubai Sports City, and we found this amazing greek restaurant by the canal.
The owner is a good greek chef, who made a very nice restaurant. She do manage the place and the kitchen herself. She even cook some stuff herself.
The do have some buffet occasionally. Many people would have breakfast at her place after dropping their kids to schools.
I personally enjoy the Pitta and their deserts.

I was introduced to the Wooden Cellar from my friends over 18mths ago. I regulary sit before work & on an evening. They make the best Latte's in Dubai!! :) The staff are polite, the restaurant is immaculate & I also often work in the day time with my lap-top. Food is fresh, and made on site.Service is second to none..
