Best doner in town, PERIOD! Incredibly tasty and juicey. Although, the Falafel could be abit better. Packaging should store heat better 😊
This place is located in a quiet lane of Barsha 1 just around the corner of Alshaya Dubai head office building. Parking isn't super easy here. Keep an 👀.
It's a very small seating place kind of simple outlet. My favorite thing to order here is the Chicken Shawarma. The food, as the name suggests, revolves around the Middle Eastern and Eastern European theme. The shawarma was pretty good and decently sized for the price. The taste was nice and it was made fresh. The service and delivery is very prompt.
Surely some place where you can stop by anytime for breakfast, snacks and maybe even major meals ☺️
Pleasantly surprised at this place. Ordered doner n though it’s slightly more expensive than normal by then it came and the quantity was massive. It was tasty and came with fries. I, on other hand, ordered separate fries because I didn’t think it will come with fries.
Apart from food being delicious, I must add that the restaurant owner is very humble and kind, despite being a busy weekend- he arranged the driver and made sure we get the food on time. BONUS- he gave me a complimentary dessert 😋 5 stars for such a sweet gesture. THANKS N KUDOS TO YOU GUYS 🤟

This place is truley a Hidden gem Al Barsha Vanellis. Loved ambience. Also staffs where very friendly. Shawarama waa something unique from others. armenian sujouk Saksuka is my first try and i loved it. Its definitely must try. Kurdish cheese saksuka and halabi mortadella sandwich.
Highligh of this place is everything is homemade including the sauce. So no worries. 100% trustworthy.

Iskander Kebabs.
It was totally a new dish for me as I never tasted it before. Tried both chicken and beef and both were simply delicious.
Pieces of freshly baked bread covered with meat and homemade sauces topped with butter and yougurt on side.
A complete meal.
Shawarma Platter.
A perfect shaved meat platter served with pickles and green veggies. There is an option of fries, rice and veggies so you can choose it according to your taste preference.
Simply loved it.
Sujuk and Cheese Saksuka.
It was the star dish for sure. As they are expert in it. This place is making saksuka with a twist. Served in bread yes in bread! Filled with sujuk and loaded cheese brushed with melted butter. Grilled and served piping hot. Simply mind blowing taste. Simple yet amazing. A must must try.
Doner.
Loved the doner. It was simply loaded and perfect in taste.
Loved the combination of meat, freshy cut veggies and house made sauces. Perfect portion economical price.
Orange Juice.
Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice with no added sugar the best part. So refreshing. Loved it.
Lotus Cheesecake
It is always my favorite. A perfect treat for all sweettooth lovers. A must have.
Overall Experience

The only place in Dubai that serves Turkish Saksuka in Dubai and it is one of a kind!
People living in Barsha are truly lucky to have this gem of a place amidst them.
Meatlovers can try their ‘world famous’ Saksuka as well as some of their other delicious offerings.
Do note, that Saksuka is different than “Shakshuka”.
We had their Armenian Sujouk & cheese Saksuka in a flatbread, which was more or less a sandwich in sight, but the spices used and it’s taste was really remarkable.
Also ordered for their Meat Turkish Doner and Iskendar Kebab. They are one of their bestsellers, and i can wonder why as they were just, amazing.
With a talk along with the manager of the place, I learned that they attempt to give their food a homemade taste and not only their spices and fillings but even some of their cheeses are made in-house.
While you are here, don’t miss their laban drink and the delicious Lotus dessert.
I also tried their rice pudding, but the flavour of the spice used, was too strong for me personally.
The staff here are very friendly and they also have good comfortable seating available, you should definitely dine in here if you are a lover of Arabic food, wanting to try something different.

It is a small cozy place situated in barsha. Manager was very interactive and friendly. Food was served hot and fresh. Food service was fast. Quality and quantity of the food is A+.
Dishes ordered:
Chicken turkish doner sandwich- chicken shawarma is served in a special turkish doner bread with fries. Something unique yet tasty.
Kurdish saksuka-this dish was very different and absolutely a must try. The flavors were amazing and the chicken was well cooked. It was served spicy, hot and fresh.
Hummus- the presentation was good. Flavor was delicious. Freshly prepared and topped with healthy olive oil.
Arabic chicken shawarma- one of the best shawarma i have had in a long time. The quantity and quality both were good. It was served with fries. Chicken was cooked well and had perfect amount of pickle in it.
Kurdish saksuka- for all my vegetarian friends this dish is a must try. This had different variety of cheeses with tomato, mint, paprika and olive oil. Simple yet scrumptious.
Drinks-
Fruit cocktail & Dynamite cocktail-freshly prepared thick cocktail. Filled with many flavors. Very healthy, rich and filling.
Laban ayran- cold, fresh and good to taste.
Desserts-
Rice pudding- it has the most amazing flavors of rose infused in it. For someone who loves rice pudding. This is a dream come true for them.
Lotus cheesecake- people who enjoy lotus, will love this. Presentation and taste was A++.
Top was garnished with lotus biscuit then cheesecake in the middle. At the bottom it was filled with lotus biscuit crumbles. Must try.

The food was well-portioned and reasonably priced. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The only disappointment was that they mix beef and lamb in most of their dishes, which would be great otherwise. We even asked the staff twice if they actually mix the meat because you generally don't come across such dishes. Overall, a good experience.
My friends and I visited this place for an early dinner . The place is quite small. Located on the main road. We ordered quite a lot of food .
Chicken shawarma plate- it was good
Cheese saksuka- it was alright
Cheese with butter garlic saksuka- this was good
Extra fries - it was brilliant
Armenian with cheese saksuka in flat bread - good
Hummus - was ok
Muhammara- didn’t like it at all
Lotus cheese cake - was brilliant

I dropped in here thinking im going to get some delicious Shakshouka. Turns out that Saksuka is different from Shakshouka in Anatolian cuisine but equally delicious. They have Sasuka in a Bread Roll or in Flat Bread both of which are good. We loved the Sujouk and Cheese Saksuka in flat bread(5/5), Shawarma(5/5), ejjah(4/5) and also tried some delicious Iskendar Kebab(5/5). While waiting for the food I also had some delicious Turkish Coffee(5/5). Service here was good, seating is limited but they have both indoor and outdoor seating available and I will definitely be back soon.

Doner & Saksuka is a small but very nice, neat and Clean restaurant offering very tasty Turkish and Arabic street food. We were surprised to see that the food was very tasty and also very innovative. They offer in Saj, Saksuka and Doner breads.
Signature halabi Mortadella Saksuka is their Signature World Famous Homemade Mortadella with pickles, garlic & Olive oil. This one is the best one i had in Saksuka bread.
Chicken Shawarma Sandwich in crunchy Saj bread. The fried bread from outside made it very delectable. I loved the bread wrap with a crunchy twist to it.
Meat Turkish Doner sandwich with Cabbage, Lettuce, Doner Sauce. This one is a huge monster one and too filling as it is stuffed very generously with Meat and Vegetables in a nice signature sauce. The outside was grilled perfectly.
Iskender Kebab is made with special Tomato sauce & yogurt. This was also grilled from outside making it very crunchy.
Armenian Sujouk Saksuka is a Meat Saksuka with a rich mix of spices. One of the best Saksuka i have had and am a fan of this now. I am glad i ordered this one.
Hummus and Falafel was also very nice.
Dynamite Cocktail juice is a must have. A rich blend of fruits with Honey. Never had this combo before and am sure you will enjoy it.
A well deserved 5 rating for this restaurant.

We ordered chicken and beef shawerma and beef doner and chicken supreme meal
For me I liked the sandwiches chicken and beef but loved the beef more but if you are not a fan of spicy let them know not to make it spicy.
The supreme was good and the doner was yummy.
They are so friendly and clean.
Next time we will try the saksouka.

I just was passing by and I wanted to eat Shawarma and I found this shop. I really liked shawarma platter which makes me come again after one hour to order it again.
I think it is a family business and because of this, the atmosphere was like you are at home and served by one of your family.

My rating is based on my recent 3 experiences in this place. This place has brought me back to to one of my great memories of my beloved city "Aleppo" combined with a twist from Turkey. The food is served in a very simple manners which they are " Home style taste".
Ps: don't forget to try their Yogurt Drink "Laban Ayran".

I don't usually write reviews. But in this occasion I had to.
For the last few years on the first Saturday of every month a group of us friends meet for breakfast or lunch at place somewhere in Dubai or Sharjah to catch up. The place is usually chosen by one of the group members.
This is the occasion we chose Doner & Saksuka for two months in row.... Why!? Becasue it is a super tasty place. You can taste the passion, the fresh ingredients, the love taken in making these beautiful and super delicious sandwiches.
They bring back memories of 40 years ago where Nana used to make these for us to take to school. Even the pickles were authentically tasty.
We will be back there again next month; if not before for office delivery.
