The seating is quite nice and comfortable and they have an acceptable shisha. Even the regular arabic dishes are quite good, so I while I would not recommend a special trip to this place I do think it's an acceptable arabic restaurant with shisha and nice regular dishes.
The issues are the cleanliness, as the restrooms are a disaster and the ceiling looks like there has been no AC service for years. Even the sofas a bit too old and unkept for my taste.
The international hot dishes are also not recomendable. Their attempt at fish and chips is a disaster to be honest, but arabic food is amazing.
In conclusion, for a shisha outside along with some arabic mezzah this place can be enjoyable, but dont expect the extra mile from this place.
The shisha needs improvement by the way, tobacco is not very tasty
Genuinely a great little spot in Marina. Everything I tried was great. It reminds me of moms cooking. The falafel, muhammara and daily dishes stand out.
Excellent food and service but this is not a zomato gold partner! The falafel was really good and so was the chicken kebab.
The only disappointment was when they refused to honour the zomato gold offer but the manager was gracious about it. It seems zomato has not updated its list of gold partner restaurants
One of my favourite lebanese restaurants in dubia, love the fooood its soo good.. their falafel and mosa2a3a and their appetisers is amazing..the service is great and the staff are always smiling and helpfulll..Highly recommended this place and their sheesha is the best I have tried as well.
Honestly, one of the coziest places I have tried in Marina, staff is friendly and very corteous, the mixed seafood grilled platter is awesome, the chocolate cake was superb and it is also a pleasant spot to enjoy some shisha. Very nice atmosphere !!! Keep it up guys !!!
I have been there for the past 3 years and they always get better and better in their service, food and shisha... a very amazing place to spend the evening with friends and family
A nice invite to this restaurant. I was especially looking forward to seeing what the place had to offer. The menu has an array of dishes for you to choose from. when walking in we were greeted by a friendly staff member who gave us the option of sitting in the non-smoking area or outside in the shisha area. We knew that we were going to have shisha at some point so opted to be seated there.
We ordered a few started which were the cold mezzas and a couple of main dishes.
lentil soup, tabouleh salad, vines lives and a kind of spinach dish. All great and very tasty. Then came our main dishes, which were like American portions. After all the mezzas, you wondered why you order a lot of food. But great value for money as of the size of the dishes.
Tasty lamb chops and a nice mixed grill. definitely order wisely the next time I come to visit.
Overall nice food and nice services. We had shisha at the end which was shisha..
Amazing place to sit & relax, delicious food & the shisha is amazing !! It’s my favourite spot in Dubai Marina ! Very quiet & you feel like your sitting at your own house
Amazing food, prices are good. It gets busy on matches days , they serve shisha and have outdoor seating as well as non smoking zone . Very recommended
It is the best place in the region!! The stuff is very friendly and you feel home, everyone is so nice and they have very reusable prices and very nice atmosphere you feel home and once you go there you keep going every day..
I love this restaurant. I have eaten here soooo manybtines and always had a great service and amazing food. The manager and the waiters are professional and very welcoming! Definately my fav spot for dinner but also for a relaxed after dinner drink, shisha or sports night.
Only small complaint....ordered online once, to have a brownie & ice cream delivery, but i got a chocolate cake instead.....It is late at night so didnt want to create a fuzz...It was still delicious, but just make sure to check the order on the screen before you deliver!
Layaly Beirut is a typical Levantine-style café-restaurant-shisha joint located just past the Spinney’s roundabout at the extreme end of Marina Walk. It’s not the kind of place I would have considered visiting weren’t it for the promise of TAHCHIN, a unique Persian-Iranian rice cake made with yogurt, saffron, egg, and stuffed with strips of chicken fillet. In fact, these guys take the whole Tahchin concept to a different level altogether, adding a choice of stuffing (plural) I have never heard of, leave alone tried; like the OMG! delicious Alu ba Mahicheh (plum with lamb shank). I have been to this restaurant twice now and on both occasions, have left very happily stuffed, having enjoyed some of the best, if not the most innovate, Tahchin in town.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
It's true that this place was not well reputed, but after my last visit the other day I was shocked. A new clean venue has recently been opened with the same name, yet with a delicious food menu! The mixed grill is a must try and the shisha service is amazing. There are constructions close by, so you might hear some noise, but nothing major.
I went again to watch a football match and the same good service was delivered to use!! I really recommend the place!
Dropped by to enjoy the weather. Had a refreshing moment of the day! Amazing weather and a kiwi juice for me. Where as the hubby sips some orange juice. I'm told that kiwi is good for pregnant women and so I'm making sure that I get to listen to the doctor whom did instruct me to be more outside and lesser indoors. A good venue overall. A bit of slower customer service though. Maybe it's the day ☺️🍹
This restaurant is great! We went to Dubai for a week and we ate just there as we loved it!Food is delicious and the people who works there are amazing. They make you feel special! We really enjoy it and if we visit Dubai again we defo go there again.Highly recommended!
Top quality service and food, everything is set to a top quality standard. Staff are very helpful, polite & friendly and never leave you unattended the whole visit. Place is very clean, neat and nice atmosphere definitely a place where you can visit to relax and have a good time. Went there with family multiple times and they never disappointed in anything but i really recommend anyone who is going to visit to try their special seafood soup.... In my opinion they should win an award for their quality of service, food and cleanliness. From all the restaurants i tried here in dubai marina.. Layali beirut is my favorite one.
Thank you for your service....
Keep it up!
This is the first time i have come here and its been a really nice experience. I ordered a grape mint sheesha, sheesh touwk, hummus with freshly baked bread and a falafel plate. I must say the food and sheesha are really good, the service is very fast and the staff is really friendly. Must visit with friends for shisha and a game of football.
Was Invited their by a friend. Good service, waiters were good and the food was nice. Serving was nice. The accompanying bread was fresh, soft and puffy.
Main course was a multiple portion of mixed grill platter. The shish taouk [chicken skewer] was nice, though a bit dry, as were the lamb chops and the beef kebabs.
This place has really good service. The waiter who was attending us had such a big smile all the time. I ordered for muhamara and seafood plater, everything on the plate was soo fresh and prepared well. The best part is ladies get free shisha on selected days.💕 will definitely come back for the seafood.
The new manager has transformed this place. Good food, clean and despite the construction noise, one is made comfortable. A place that was falling apart has once again blossomed. I live in the building and vowed never to go from past experience; now o change my mind. Welcome back to the pizza !
Fantastic place, with great Shisha. Suraj provides great hospitality, and thoroughly recommend the pizza too. Nice central location on the marina, with a great skyline.
Live in the building it's attached to. So its pretty convenient. Very nice food, a lot more variety than most places. When I went last, the service for shisha was a bit slow but they apologized as it was busy and there was only one shisha-man. Other than that, good service, nice food and a comfortably chilled restaurant.
We were a group of 8 and decided to eat at Layali Beirut.
The service was quite quick and friendly and humorous however with the ever so slightly undertone of Lebanese arrogance - I don't complain.
The cold mezze was nice - as expected. Fresh and flavorful tabbouleh, creamy hummus, crunchy fattoush and so on.
We had also a couple of warm mezze - the fried chicken livers in pomegranate sauce were quite nice [but I had them better before - they were not as charred, sweet and succulent, as I expected them to be- still nice]. The kibbeh were crispy outside and tasteful but slightly dry inside.
The accompanying bread was fresh, soft and puffy.
Main course was a multiple portion of mixed grill platter. The shish taouk [chicken skewer] was nice, though a bit dry, as were the lamb chops and the beef kebabs.
Here is the thing - everything was good, filling and flavorful. But nothing really stood out, which let me return... Lebanese food is so well executed in so many places, that you literally could go anywhere in Dubai, to get a very good meal. Layali Beirut is just supporting this point!
I would rather like to try dishes, which are unique but maybe not so well executed, than to have all the time the same.
