It’s a very old mandi restaurant located in Qusais on Baghdad Street. They have a good parking space beside their building plus they have a good privacy system for families and open tables for those who don't wanna sit in a box.
I have been visiting them since 2013 and their Chicken and Mutton Mandi / Madhbi both are amazing in taste even though the rice always cooked very well.
The best part is their cheese kunafa which is a pure love plus the qahwa which is the most important thing to drink after your meal to digest it.

Ordered Chicken Madbee and Meat Mandi and both were delicious. The rice is very aromatic and tasty. One order includes lentil soup (my fave) and tomato puree sauce and salad. The portion is good for 2 people. KUNAFA. was good. Staffs were good.

Me and my friends usually dine at the restaurant. Good ambience, simple and has complimentary sweet tea. We just loved their chicken madbee and cream kunafa.

Mutton haneeth is just awesome. Chicken madfoon and chicken madbi also tasted good.. Facility for in dine is also great.. i suggest to try this restaurant once..

I have tried their cheese kunafa for 12dhs. I have heard it is good so went to try it. The kunafa was chessy and tasty. We got it along with sugar syrup.

One of the oldest mandi restaurants in the area and the food lived up to the expectations. One of the best Mandi's in the area. The Chicken Mandi was great. I will definitely return to this humble restaurant again. Kudos to the team.😊👍

Perfect for lunch on a weekend be it with family and friends,or if you want to take someone for authentic arabic cuisine in town,majlis seating arrangement and ambience adds to the whole mood.
Food was surprisingly delicious. Visited this place for the first time last Sunday and the serving of the Mandi was good for two people so I shared it with my girl friend. Only thing I can comment on is the lack of vegan options so unfortunately for me I didn't have a choice but to eat chicken that day. Also the arabic salad could do with a little more variance in the vegetables but otherwise definitely a good place to eat.

We wanted to have some good dinner and decided to have madbee from jood mandi.. It's a must visit... Since its located closer to my home it was easier for us to travel as well... The mandi there is just amazing
It is a good place for Mandi lovers. I tried Chicken Madhbi, Crispy with good spices and flavorful. Thou the red sauce (Chatni) was not up to the mark compared to other mandi places that I have been visiting. Soup served was extraordinary and Cream Kunafa too. Normally I am a cheese and nutella kunafa fan and I never order cream for myself but my friend ordered this one and I have to admit that I loved it.
So we just decided to eat mandi on ur way back home. Well I've been here before and we arrived like before 6pm. Just in time for early dinner.
So as usual we ordered meat mandi and liver sweet and spicy, think it was fried in a different way.
Mandi is good but I think the meat they had reduced it, but d liver...oh it is a must! Plus we were given a big kubuz bread which was really fresh soft and crispy with sesame seeds.
So all in all mandi is good and the liver.
And you guys can register for there loyalty program, its with the cashier, for every dhs2 spent you get 1 point and when you reach 300 points, you get a dhs75 voucher, although you can only get points when you dine in and only in al qusais branch.
Overall we paid dhs72, not bad for I guess.
This place use to be our go to place for mandi... but recently the quality has dropped not sure why but that is what I have experienced... or probably now we have lot of places doing good mandi around al qusais......
A typical Arabic Cuisine place. Good ambiance and service. we tried both madhy and madbee here. both are awesome in taste . The portion of the food is enough for foodies. One of the recommended place for you and your loved ones who like to have a economical Arabic cuisine.
I tried my very 1st mandi in jood mandi and i fell in love with it instantly.
The seating and ambience is perfect for everyone.
The portions of meat and rice blend make it really tasty and i would suggest everyone to try as this place will surely become one of your fav spot for mandi.
I even tried the khunafa which was perfect .

Read about this place in the news paper, rated as one of the best mandi places in UAE. Food is good, large portions, fit for 2. The only disappointment was the picture in the newspaper looked so rich garnished with pine nuts and others whilst in real the presentation was poor and did not have nuts at all. The meat mandi tasted nice, their sauce made of tomato was an excellent complement to the mandi. It came along with a soup which was good.
Place is clean with ample air conditioning, also has cubicles for a traditional dining experience on the floor. Staff are polite and friendly.
Lastly, we had the cream konafa, which was average. Sugar syrup was served seperately. Having it as a dessert, the syrup was insufficient as i would like the konafa to be a bit soaked in sugar and less dry.

This place is a little unknown and underrated in the mandi scene. Their meat mandi is exceptional. You can ask for the meat to be crispened and they'll put it in the oven for a little while. What you end up with is a piece of meat that has slightly crispy ends but still tender on the inside. The fattiness of the meat is at a very good level and portions are generous.
The chicken mandi is average and the chicken madhbi is very underwhelming. Slightly dry for the chicken mandi and almost like eating a phone book for the chicken madhbi.
The rice here if you come at the right time is just about as perfectly cooked and seasoned as possible. You can taste every individual grain but the rice is still soft. Sauce is ok but lately spice levels have been toned down.
Overall: Recommended only for meat dishes.
This Mandi joint deserves a bookmark...Has the highest standard of Mandi and keeps the authentic taste alive without trying to alter it for pleasing everyone...dont expect a five star service...just visit if you really want to enjoy a good meal with a huge appetite beforehand...enjoyyy !
Have been visiting this place for more than 3 years...absolutely love the mandi and madabi they serve here...thought the quality has not been consistant past few months.

Great Mandy place one of the best in Dubai. I am an expert in this food by default as my mother used to cook it for me it is a very traditional dish. Try also Madabi it is meat grilled on hot stones and it comes out little dry but grease less and quite healthy. Rice is also very nice add a bit of cinnamon to it for a perfect taste and flavor.
I tried mutton mandi once...It was excellent....good service.....hygienic...now i am a frequent visitor of jood al mandi...u can spend great time with your family...
Ordered chicken as well as mutton...meat is amazingly well cooked, nice soft and tasty. Rice is too dry and not realy that great. Appetiser soup was too good.

They had the place renovated from the old and outdated design. Taste as expected for a Mandi and price wise it 's affordable. However staff should be more responsive and attentive. We experienced ordering a take -away after our meal instead they mistakenly served it as additional dine-in order and to end the story as if it's our fault that we didn't fully specify our orders.
I tried mandhi n madfoon from this restaurant. Both were delicious. They serve them with good spicy tomato chutney 😋. But their kunafa almost always steal the show...very delicious n creamy. Always leave some space in ur tummy for this cream kunafa. Drawback is their service..too slow.😑.

We ordered two madbi take away and they charged the same , but what we got was one Mandi and madbi , the chicken madbi was very hard over charcoaled, well Mandi chicken was soft the rice of both were good as usual.The kunfa which is my Favourite was utter flop the cream tastes bad . Today's lunch was a disappointing one
One of our Favourite Friday lunch take away, both Mandi and and madhbi we love , they have enough family dine in space . The place is pretty rush always.
Food is yum so far one suggestions is to maintain the restrooms they are pathetic .
Don't forget to taste their kunafa it's a must must must !!!!!!!! Very yummy crispy hot kunafa 😋😋😋😋
And one more thing parking is little tedious

After a lot of thoughts whether to go over to the tiny Pakistani eatery to have kebabs and roti or to indulge in a North Indian buffet at a Mughlai restaurant, I decided to try something that i have not tried in ages. Meat Mugalgal Mandi.
Mugalgal is a dish of Yemeni origin where the lamb is tossed with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, cumin and a special spice mix from Yemen called the Baharat. In short it's a hearty lamb stir fry from Yemen. Normally served as a standalone dish served with khubuz.
Joud Mandi, one of the oldest and famous Mandi houses in Dubai serves them up with rice, salsa, soup, veggies at AED 45. This container can feed up-to 3 people generously. The usual mandi package.
First and foremost , let me tell you why the Meat Mugalgal is the best way to have your mandi.
The flavourful meat juices. Imagine all that lamb cooked together and then poured over a bed of rice.
The Spices. It's very flavourful, the mix of cumin and yemeni bahriat spices frolic around in your taste buds asking for more.
The Rice. Unlike other mandi places that might serve up almost non-flavourful rice, Jood Mandy's rice is not just flavourful but also soft, aromatic and smooth to the finish.
But there is a catch, it takes close to 35 minutes to prepare. I informed the restaurant that I will go for a nice karak and come back by which time it should be done.
Just watching the traffic pass by, while sipping on a Karak tea/chai, I'm almost counting every second on my watch. I could not wait to go and devour that Meat Mugalgal. Bumping into another friend of mine, We caught up on old stories over karak.
My phone beeped. My countdown timer was done . 25 minutes are up.
Time to ditch the friend and go to the one true calling. To devour the Meat Mugalgal Mandi.
That was the most satisfactory meal live had in ages (Sorry, mom home-made food included). I was finding it hard to breathe after all that Mandi. Do not mistake me I'm not a glutton, I could eat only 1/3rd of the portion served.
Very quick delivery and the mandi, madhbi both are quite nice here..however the menu is quite limited (different varieties of rice would be a welcome addition)

Average for families because dine inn not so attractive but quality of food price and taste is so good.

Excellent place to experience authentic Yemeni cuisine. Dishes to try include personal favorite Chicken Mandi. Meat/Chicke Madhbhi is also utterly delicious. They serve complimentary soup which is great appetizer.
Excellent overall food quality, service is good, and traditional floor seating option is even better. Definitely recommend to anyone who is willing to explore south Arabian cuisine. The location is great as well and price very affordable.

Good seating arrangement. It's very unique. Bought a mutton Mandi. It was sufficient for two. Service was real quick. Would love to go there again! I recommend Al Jood Mandy!

It's one of my best mandi restaurant in dubai, weekly I visited 2 time, I always order madbi chicken it's my favorite portion, and also I like the old fashion kunafa was served before, but now they replaced it with new one, i really recommend to be available on the menu.
the best mandy i ate in UAE my experience with this restaurant 9 years ago i recommend this restaurant for many of my friends all the food tasty and the konafa amazing
