I tried 2 - 3 times this place. I like their manakish its delicious and give me the same taste which i grew up on it in my home country. All is great just the Thyme is a bit oily.
Never search twice.. lahm bil ajeen and zaatar wraps are the best in this restaurant.. also their breakfasts are amazing.. try the shakshooka and you will never regret it..
Great taste - very middle eastern. Average service but it's not the kids you would go for service in any case. Freshly made food. Tad over priced but didn't mind it. Highly recommend
On the wood screams of levantish quality food! Ive been there a couple of times. The servers are super nice and the food is always delicious. Especially the kunafa and beef shawarma platter.

Very simple restaurant with only a few tables available. The food was delicious and great value. They specialize in Lebanese flat bread (Manousheh) and cook everything to order in fired oven. The bread is soft. We received a warm, friendly welcome and really enjoyed our tasty meal. Would definitely go back again.
I ended up going here on a whim with my family and I absolutely love discovering these cute little places in jumeriah. There isn't much sitting space for a busy Friday but there were so many people entering, that obviously means one thing. The food is good. And we weren't disappointed. On many recommendations we tried their cereal dough manakeesh, I have not had something like that in Dubai and I was beyond amazing. It is so great! Healthier than alternatives and packed with flavours..another interesting dish I tried here was the hummus with taboleh together, oh this was great too with the hot oven baked kubbus to go with it. It is name on the wood for a reason, you guys need to definitely check this out. Loved every bit of my experience.

Firstly I must say this restaurant has some amazingly healthy & tasty food to offer. They have Lebanese / Arabic & italian food options. I am a regular here and have tried most of their manakish/ different types of hummus, salad, yoghurt drinks, wraps... etc... and everything I've tried is delicious and well served. It's a small joint in jumeirah but so well decorated and a very welcoming ambience. The staff is usually very courteous as well. Both dine in and delivery options have been great experiences for me. However last night at 3 am I dined in with my friends and I was unable to use my ZOMATO GOLD id. This was very very disappointing as I intended 2 use my gold as always. Dear manager, your restaurant is 24×7 but zomato haa incorrect timings listed. Hence even though you guys were up and running, zomato gold was CLOSED as your restaurant showed aa closed on zomato. Please get the timings sorted asap.

There is no other way to put it, but among the horde of Lebanese Pastry ships in Dubai, ‘on the wood’ stands out, and that’s not a small thing. Their hummus is smooth with perfect tart, the flavours are on point, everything freshly baked...you will love it. If you have Zomato Gold... all the more reason to go all-out!
Tried the Shawerma, was ok, nothing special about it, liked the packing though. Manae'esh in particular was great, the dough is very light, well cooked and toasted, definitely trying something else with them.
This has been my go to restaurant for their unique Chicken Taco Pizza which is topped with avocado sauce. Yes, avocado sauce. The food there is super delicious and ambiance is pretty cosy. In this visit we had ordered for Fresh Mint Lemonade, Chicken Taco Pizza and Pollo Alfredo Penne Pasta. I still have to try the new Tabouleh Pomegranate which I will in the next visit.
Awesome weather with amazing food..This was my first visit to On the Wood.I must say that the food was pretty good in Taste.We ordered the Hummus Green which was really creamy and tasty,the Baked chilli falafel which was spicy,Tabouleh Pomegranate was good and the best was Bakers Pie.It is a must have item on the Menu.

This place has definitely some of the best sandwiches made in saj bread. I tried the Roma roll and the spicy kofta sandwiches. Both are highly recommended.

Always my favorite place to have lebanese fast food.we got Quinoa tabouleh, chicken fajita wrap and hummos plate (served with veggies and hot bread). Everything was delicious and generous. Nice decoration and music (feiruz).

very good restaurant. we are vegeterians, so had good range of veg food. Hummus with tabbouleh was awsome. pizza amazing. only one thing was little disappointing is in most of the restaurants, arabic bread with hummus is unlimited. But here they provide 4 very small mini breads with hummus but if you need more they will charge for it.
One of the best Lebanese places I lately discovered. On the woods located in Jumeirah, ajman, sharjah serves authentic Lebanese and ltalian food. Here we had

Really, one of the best Lebanese quick food places in town. Hard to comment on the rest of the food, as this was our second time we ordered their sandwiches (pick up last week, delivery this weekend).
The Chicken Shawarma and the Beef Shawarma sandwiches were really good. The bread is thin, the sauces are just right, the meat is tender, and they add just the right amount of fries and pickles t make it a really interesting sandwich. It's just the right combination of bread, meat, sauce, pickle and fries that makes it a delightful experience that is outstanding.
Yes, Dhs17 for a chicken shawarma is expensive, but you get what you pay for. We'll of course order from this place again, and try out some of the other items on the menu,
This is a good restaurant for both dine in and take away. We went for dine in and ordered manakish, filafel, hammous.
All the dishes were served fresh and hot. The manakish in particular was extra ordinary. It was simple delicious.

Fresh, handmade at the moment and absolutely amazing option for multicereal bread. I love their sandwich with pesto, chicken and sun-dried tomatoes ( really nice ). Service is good and quite affordable.

The food was extremely good, we kind of dropped in by accident looking for a late night snack and finding it open (24/7). The manakish were incredible (cheese and meat, but mixed not half half) and then we had a Roma sandwich. Really was a wonderful surprise how good it was.
Dropped in for take away today! 😋👌🏼 Loved their cheese, turkey and cheese and Zatar Lebanese flat breads all cooked to order in their open oven by a chef 👨🏼🍳 who knows his stuff! Sprinkles of fresh crunchy 🥗salad added a nice touch and the service was fast without fuss. Whilst there I took some pics to show followers how dining in looks at this quaint little restaurant on the beach road. 🇱🇧⚡️😍

Loved the food in this small eatery! The manakish were so soft and yumm. This place had the best hummus I have ever had...soo creamy and so full of flavor even the classic one was great.
The falafels and the pizzas were equally good. We tried their spicy pasta which was cheesy and good.

This place is truly a hidden gem..
Located opposite the Kite Beach on the Beach road, it is fairly small with a seating for around 40 pax. The weekend we had gone, the place was practically empty with just one more diner in the restaurant.
For drinks we ordered the Fresh Mint Lemonade, Fresh Watermelon juice and an Oreo Milkshake. All were fairly nice..
For dinner we ordered the Classic Hummus which came with piping hot mini bread and fresh cut vegetables, French fries box, The cheese and thyme manakish, the labneh pesto manakish, the Beirut pizza, veg. pizza and spicy creamy penne...
The verdict - outstanding were the 2 types of manakish and the Beirut pizza.
The mini bread served with the hummus was also really good..
Improvement - the spicy creamy penne is avoidable - this place is meant to serve Lebanese and Pizza. Pasta does not seem to be their forte.
Service is good and personalized. Parking is not a problem and prices are pocket friendly.
This is one place which needs to be visited...

I’m in love with this place, I so loved the interiors and the feel as soon as I stepped in.
Wish I could rate it 4.5 as the extra mark for the watermelon juice which they made it just the way I like . I usually like my juice without ice and with the fruit not being frozen, the fruit was fresh and made at room temperature.

Mix Cheese manakish - my mouth still drools when I think about it. Was so fresh and tasty
Latayef - This was the first time that I have had this dish and I am in love with it. Not too sweet and different in taste.
