We had the roqak and grilled chicken as main dishes, in addition to beef liver
The liver was beyond perfect, roqak was average but then again maybe the liver was the star of the night
Shisha was on spot attended too
It is rare to find an Egyptian restaurant in business bay so we decided to try. Interiors , ambience and view are very warm and nice .
For plates : kadashiya is super,I can approve that their molokhiya is the most tasty one i tried in my life.
We tried the Hamam ,musakaa, duck , fatta and all of them were very tasty.
And the stuff is friendly.
Really it is nice place to visit the decoration of the restaurant is superb with good & delicious taste of food.
I suggest u to visit here once.
We went for the open buffet iftar and the food is beyond delicious, everything just tastes great, fresh food and presents the authentic Egyptian cuisine at its best, I recommend everyone to go try it, or you'll miss on something extraordinary...
I have been hearing alot about Nubia and decided to give it a try...a very nice and cozy place with Nubian look and feel, loved the ambience. The service is good but the highlight is the restaurant manager, he has an amazing way to make you feel that you are special and you are his only customer. We tried the monitor, kofta sandwich, pumpkin dessert and cocktail juice , all are excellent. I'll pay another visit to try their main courses.
Have tried their set meal for lunch before, liked it and ended up at Nubai again to unwind as its close to my workplace. Their mocha frappe and the shisha were perfect and the umm ali was good. The Bechamel Macaroni I ordered to takeaway was perfectly packed and delicious. Cool ambience, good service and yumm food, will be back for more.

Arabic cuisine has such a variety and each one of them have a different and unique preparation. It is time for you to indulge at this new Egyptian eatery overlooking the gorgeous Dubai Canal.
Nubia serves some exceptionally good Egyptian food and their service is great.The place has a large indoor and outdoor seating. Even indoors, the smoking and non-smoking rooms are separate giving you plenty of choices.
We were here one afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were served by Islam and Jenny who were very helpful, friendly and gave some excellent recommendations on what we should eat.
For the drinks we called for a Mango and Kiwi juice and a Pomegranate juice. The Mango and Kiwi was excellent - think mango pulp with kiwi. The Pomegranate juice was absolutely fresh and refreshing.
In the starters we called for Kofta and a Grilled Chicken. The Kofta was so tender and with the right amount of spices that we could not resist but finish it all. The Grilled Chicken is a good size half chicken grilled to perfection.
We had a Koshary for the mains. This is the national dish of Egypt and I love it. The Koshary here was good too with rice, lentils, chickpeas & pasta topped with a garlicky, spicy tomato sauce & fried onions.
The best is for the last - the desserts. They have a wide variety of Basbusa and we tried the Nutella Basbusa. It was yummy. My favourite and the show stopper of the day was the Umm Aly - rich and creamy yet not very heavy garnished with dry fruits, I simply loved it.
Nice place.. I liked the food and service.. the location is peacful. Waiters are very polite and friendly. Seating area is good.. liked it too!

I was winner of their contest and the prize was meal for two and was very interested to check out the place . It's located in business bay , to get there from old dubai was quite tedious specially as road works going on and wasn't updated in gps.
It's a shisha cafe restaurant, facing the canal, they have indoor and outdoor seating . They have done the interiors very well quite nice . Nubian civilization is what they portrayed bright colours and special sign language and art work .Nubia is a place in Egypt with rich civilization history, well here they serve Lebanese food not Egyptian food alone .
They have us the menu first and when we were checking , they came said it's not from menu they have business lunch it is that . They have business lunch for 45 dhs a soup , salad and main course and soft drink . They got that business lunch soup was good , so was the salad and the mini grill platter .
It's a decent cafe , they have Shisha too . I haven't had any other food so don't know much , the business lunch was okay good for one person. A mini dessert to be included in lunch offer would be a good idea to make it complete meal .

I went last Friday, I sat outdoor the weather is still good and for the nice dubai water canal view
I ordered grilled half boneless chicken ( it comes with vegetables and rice ) and Diet Pepsi the chicken was fresh, juicy and tasty and have a charcoal barbecue smelling
I enjoyed sitting there for a while then I ordered tea and ( lotus Kunafa ) which was oh my .. super delicious .. I paid 95 dh and will definitely come again
We been there for a dinner the place and the atmosphere is really nice, food is quite nice but I loved the dessert (basbosa with cherry) than the dinner (Koshary) staff was friendly, in general I love to go there again.

This is the best Egyptian restaurant in Dubai. The roz muammar with hamam is amaizing not to mention that there is such a variety in the beverage and dessert menu

Have been eating at this restaurant on regular basis now since they first opened and it has become my favorite hangout. Delicious Egyptian dishes, lovely atmosphere with views of the new Dubai Canal. What more can I ask for !!
Their signature dish is the "mooamar with hammam" and my favorite as well as the mixed grill. U have to end it with a Abudhabi Basbousa dessert and the options are insanely wide.
Have visited the place on new year's eve, wonderful buffet selection. Waiters were attentive and have made our night, its a shame that there was no fireworks on the canal. But food quality, ambiance and traditional songs certainly contributed to the evening. One wish would be to improve the parking availability, otherwise will certainly come back here again!

A great place for breakfast with a beautiful waterfront view. Very friendly staff and the egyptian breakfast was delicious. Reasonable pricing as well.
Very elegant and stylish restaurant, Excellent food taste, quality, warm and intimate hospitality, quick orders received, open area is fantastic specially enjoying the good weather and Egyptian's classic songs, I really enjoyed the visit and experience and highly recommend all my friends to go and have their own experience.

we had our babies birth party ( sboo3 ) there , we had a very nice buffet , Lamp on rice , turkey and salads ,mahashy Food Quality and Quantity was excellent , Service was very friendly , our guests liked the place and enjoyed the food ,i t is very good value for money , I would recommend this place for events a well as if anyone missing or like to have nice Egyptian food

The best original Taste Egyptian food in Dubai. Mostly enjoyed the delicious Egyptian sausage, followed by amazing Kaware3 with vine leaves Tajeen, and we ended by Muamar Rice with Pigeon and just 1 piece of fried Pigeon on the side. That's too much but you cannot stop. The Basbousah with cream and the cup of Well done Turkish Coffee makes you fly.
I felt like I am really home. I will surely Try again and invite all my friends to enjoy the True taste of Egyptian food in Nubia.
Finally we have our delicious food taste here in Dubai,,The best Egyptian food you would ever eat , don't miss their special dish ( Tagen rice with pigeon),, an amazing view and atmosphere, classic romantic music,, all what you are looking for . I was so happy to try it with my family and friends and would recommend it to all Egyptians and all Egyptian food lovers.
