I went to Khun Chai after seein a friend's post on Instagram. Just felt the craving for this dessert Che Thai ( Tub Tim Crob as per the menu ) so decided to have lunch there today. Every bit of food was Yummmmm. Honestly I've had like really good Thai curry after a while .. Must must try and I'm sure everyone would pick up a dish as their favourite . The dessert had generous chunks of water chestnuts which generally you have to hunt for .. Overall experience 5 stars. The place is a bit small though , please book in advance ..
You experience a mini entry into Thailand with this gem
The staff were lovely to deal with despite a small language barrier- solved it with the Google translator
It's located on the main Street of Jumeirah, very quaint, light instrumental music playing, giving you a feel of a home run business! Believe me it is a peaceful feeling when it's not too commercial
The food was different than what you generally eat in the well know thai joints! It's authentic to a good extent
The tub tim krob was the best ever had! Huge huge chunks of water chestnuts
The main course was lovely in taste with such generous quality of ingredients
Will make you go again, if you enjoy a personal touch to your food

Wow I Mean Wooooowwwwwww
I love Thai Food it's because all the ingredients are so fresh, herbal and lip smackingly delicious. As usual ordered my favorites Tom Yum Soup with prawns. The best soup and my kids favorite. The taste and flavors of this soup were authentic and original to its taste. 2nd family favorites are the Pad Thai. There are few restaurants that serve the original pad Thai and Khun Chai Thai can be proud of their Pad Thai. Correct flavors, aroma and spices does the perfection.
After the Covid19 is done this would definitely be my first stop..
As I write this review I am seriously craving for Thai cuisine
