The best tom yum soup ...its the perfect balance of tangy and spicy........the clear broth with veggies is so hearty and their friez prawns with the sweet chilli sauce is too good
Good place to have some seafood !! The only problem is service is slow and at times the place gets crowded with large group of families.
We visited this restaurant last week on a weekday for dinner with friends. Had no idea about the restaurants available on the diera waterfront. Just walked in to this restaurant to look at the fresh fish stock and decided to get in. And no regrets. Food was good. The waiters were cordial. We were a bit sceptic being just after the pandemic. But it was clean and safe.
We ordered fried prawns & squid, grilled hamour and sea brim. Dishes were well cooked.
It’s a family place and am ready to go back again.

We tried a wide variety of seafood at the waterfront store and everything was prepared to PERFECTION. We had clams in a sauce of grated carrots and zucchini which was DELICIOUS, fried sherry, grilled red mullet, fried calamari and prawns. Absolutely everything had us wanting more and it was one of my BEST meals in my four years living in dxb!
The restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor setting perfect for winter. I will definitely return !

The Tom Yum Soup from Yahya Seafood Restaurant is one of the best soups…. Or might I say THE BEST SOUP EVER. It’s almost like you don’t need a main course meal after this. The Tom Yum Soup is a spicy, tangy and sour soup that has seafood in it, more specifically, Squid rings and prawns. I took the soup with noodles. It usually is served with mushrooms, but I despise mushrooms, hence told them to remove it.
Anyways, It’s so good, there are literally no words to describe it. I had this at Global Village but you can get this at the Abu Hail branch for AED 42.
Another specialty of the Yahya Restaurant is their Tempura Prawns with Thai Sauce. They serve some of the best fried and crispy prawns with a coating of panko breadcrumbs. Not sure if they serve this at the Abu Hail branch, but do give it a try, the next time you head to Global Village, which takes place annually for a month or two in Dubai.
If you’re a huge fanatic of seafood, you must try food from Yahya.

As I’m big fans of seafood 🥘 so I’m always looking to the place where I can enjoy my seafood 🦞 meal. I been there twice with my family and some friends. First we were not happy at all from the service as the waiter was very rude and unprofessional with us it took us 30 minutes waiting after we had our fish just to get the salad which’s can’t happen. But as long as we enjoyed the food we decided to give it another try and it was amazing food was great and service. There’s one Waiter his name is Mahmoued served us as we are in 5 stars ⭐️ hotel polite and professional and all the food been served on time. It’s quite expensive according to their portion specially the salad 🥗. But it’s fine to be there twice a month to enjoy the food, view and service but with out the rude waiter
Upon entrance,you choose your seafood and they cook it to your flavors and likings.Our fish was cooked to perfection.They do give complimentary bread and Tahina.Service is really quick and the staff on the floor are gems to this place.

Well, I’m so impressed with the way we got to choose our own fish and doing all steps by ourselves. We ordered calamari, shrimp, supreme fish and “something else” fish. They were well cooked and so delicious. The service was good and fast and staffs are quite polite and friendly. The place itself is so nice next to the sea and so clean.
A good restaurant with great great food and splendid location to dine for but the staff doesn’t know how to treat the customer’s. They are busy running around all the time and forgets thats they have customers waiting to give away orders . The attitude and the way interact with the customers has to be changed. I dont have any issues with the food .They were all yum and fresh , neatly grilled and presented. This review is not based on the first time experience, i have been to this restaurant around thrice , only to be back each time for their fish and experience their bad hospitality . I really feel they need to work out on that . We have tried grilled supreme, prawns and crabs . And the seafood soup with and without creams are great .

Get into the fish market and get what ever you like, get it cleaned at fish market and take them to yahya restaurant.
We requested for Arabic grill and then prawns 🍤 and squid 🦑 fry.
Good place for seafood lovers who likes arabic / Italian grill and but don’t expect indian spicy grill ( there arent any indian masala)
God bless the kitchen, the sea food soup was a blessing and the sea bass was made by the angels from heaven...
We ordered one Tom yam soup mild spicy which was very spicy as per my standards (considering I don't eat spicy food but my wife does and wouldn't argue with her!!)
Order for a sea bass fish (open) with the chef's magical touch...it was great and the sea food soup (will keep mentioning) was so amazing couldn't stop eating it...they gave tahina with khoboos...initially dint understand but better when ate it with the fish the combination was great...

Yahiya yahiya yahiya, the chef known for his Tom yum Soup(spicy).Enjoyed the soup again post the global village season. Service was below par though, big restaurant, family seating, good fish meal combo(pocket friendly). But cant give my complete rating now, as i need to have their Shrimps grilled flambé which is their USP.

The best vegetable Tom Yum Soup ever! Be careful with the level of spicy though it can be tricky. I’m a chilli lover but I couldn’t ask it to be more then little spicy. Dynamite shrimps are probably the best I have ever had! Friendly staff, although I got to know it from its kiosk at global village but it’s view at the water front market is much more amazing. Prices are affordable, service and portion are excellent. Definitely goin back🧡
Yahya’s has been an old time favourite ever since I could remember going to Global Village to try out his infamous Tom Yum soup! With a perfect taste (that could also be super helpful if you’re down with a flu) this soup is probably the best Tom Yum I’ve ever had. Prawn is probably the only right way to have the soup, although I used to be a regular with taking the soup with noodles, but I would now pass on it.
The vegetarian green curry and the vegetarian fried rice were absolutely worth navigating through the dim-lit and confusing entrance to the waterfront & the smell of fish.
A quaint little Thai place in the new Deira waterfront market place, there actually let you buy the fish cleaned and cook it for you Arabic Style. They also have a menu for some great Thai food. The restaurant recommended pineapple fried Rice is delicious, definitely order that.
مطعم متخصص بالمأكولات البحريه استمتعت بطعم السمك في هذا المكان ولكن الحلو ما يكمل الجلسات الداخليه مقفله والمكان الوحيد المخصص لتناول الطعام هو الجلسات الخارجيه دون وجود اي تكييف او مراوح لترطيب الجو ما جعلني اتناول الطعام وامشي بسرعه بسبب الرطوبه العاليه لوقوع المطعم على طرف البحر متاخما لسوق السمك المركزي في دبي ... الاسعار مقبوله ولكن الخدمة لم تكن بالمتوقع لربما اعود واتناول الطعام فيه يوما فقط بسبب لذة الطعام ليس الا
