Super chill place to grab a drink after work. Good service and amazing ambiance. The outdoor seating is very cozy and the staff is friendly and attentive. Loved the Belgian fries. So simple, yet so delicious. They've also got some good happy hour deals. Will definitely visit again.

Of course I have to mention the belgian fries, what's treat!! Honestly the concept is not extravagant, but spot on for exactly what it is. I'd judge this place as a pub considering the atmosphere and their outstanding offerings of hop. So if you consider this place a pub, it's for sure one of the best food experiences you can expect in a pub or even and restaurant for that matter. We had a burger and a black bean and chickpea burger. Both was amazing, the bread takes a step back to give way to the meat and cheese, so this burger is as good as it gets. Of course belgian fries and a great pint help the matter. Thumbs up in all aspects even the price tag is very reasonable especially since we happened to hit happy hour with pints below 30dhs, that was a pleasant surprise!!!

We headed to Yas Island for a staycation at the Park Inn Hotel by Radisson Blu. While strolling around the hotel property we came across the Belgian Beer Cafe located at Radisson Blu (which happens to be the adjacent building of Park Inn as they share a common premise). The good vibes and happy hours deal was too tempting to forgo. We ordered the Belgian draft beers and barbecued chicken wings. The beers : Leffe blonde is a pale ale gourmet beer. Pours to a beautiful amber-gold and it's got a slightly tart flavour, like pear/ apple. It went well with the chicken. And the Hoegaarden. Lemony and smooth and super refreshing. The barbecued chicken wings was good. Eaten better and tastier wings. A bit highly priced for the portion size. The staff very courteous,well trained and helpful. Have to mention Gulshan for making our experience wonderful. Recommended when at Yas Island for an enjoyable evening.

Here for a holiday staycation and kept it simple by going to a in-hotel restaurant. The Belgian Cafe was an easy choice as it served Mussels, and back to time I spent in Toulouse. We had mussels with Thai Curry, Mixed grill and fried in beef stew (starters). The food was in good quantity and really hit the mark. This should be the go to place for mussels in Yas Island. But this review is about the experience and if it was for food then the Belgian Cafe would have scored 4.5. So the 3 rating was the fact that they have limited indoor seating so stay away in the summer months (outdoor seating is like a sauna). There was a table available but because ‘the manager had his own guests we were way down the pecking order. So experience was definitely a let down.

We came for Saturday Roast event. The atmosphere is fantastic. They had set up a small buffet selections of salads, desserts , chicken and their famous roast beef sirloin and lamb leg. The food is really good. I had the chicken and the beef, love it. My children enjoyed the mac and Cheese pasta as well as the cheese cake. Staff are friendly and helpful.

So the smoked salmon salad was really bad : first of all that was not rye bread as they said on the menu, the salad is very very sweet which made it taste bad. The mussels are good but nothing special.

Decided to eat lunch and grab a couple of adult beverages today at the Belgian Beer Cafe Yas Island. The food and drinks were spot on as the norm for this Cafe. It was a bit more crowded for a normal Friday afternoon but Brenda our waitress handled it like a pro. Even with the help of the bartender and manager, she was kept on the run, but she never lost her positive attitude or smile the entire time. We go out to restaurants of course for the food, music, and beverages, but we come back because of people like Brenda. GREAT STAFF makes a great place to come back.!!

We came here for the mussels , our child loves the mini buffet as there’s lovely mini pastries from the buffet..Belgian Waffles are great with chantilly creme ...friendly staff , fast service , nice ambiance

Best Mussel in town. Several choices of flavor. I can say that their new food menu is poor except the Mussel. Previously they were also serving duck as main course and burger sliders which were our favorites but both have been removed from menu. So we only visit the place when we crave for Mussel. I didn`t like their Wagyu burger maybe because of the ingredients. They are putting spinach inside which is unnecessary for me. It is pricey since you have to pay around 200 AED for a pot of mussel and pint of beer. You still can choose the day and time with promotion.

Went here on a Sarurday night. Good food with generous servings. Ambiance was also very nice. Definitely good value for money. Attentive and friendly staff as well. Loved their fries. They have unlimited beer for 2 hours for 199 DH. Highly recommended.

The thing with franchises is that quality standard is present but not always enforced. I can honestly say that Belgian Beef Café at this property served some of the best food that I have ever had.

Truly awful experience. I could get over the high prices and mediocre food but the horrid service is what made this place memorable for all the wrong reasons. First drink order was wrong, food came to the wrong person, they forgot another drink order, then when we finally wanted to pay and leave, we gave the tab card to the server, she left it by the register and completely forgot about us. The fish was bland and definitely not seasoned properly and the supposed authentic Belgian frites were just undercooked. Suffice to say I will never come back and recommend you stay away as well. There are so many other better, more affordable places to drink in Abu Dhabi and even on Yas, try Y bar across the street, or Filini's, both were much better.

Went there to enjoy mussels and a nice cigar with friends. We got there at 930pm and settled in the smoking area, full of smokers and drinkers.... (and so noisy BTW) Only to find ourselves sitting next to a family with children!! Apparently the policy allows for children to be in a closed smoking area among adults drinking and heavily smoking. turns out their policy forbids cigars there as it annoys... Cigarette smokers!!!! Couldn't believe my ears.... Their policy allows children in a closed smoking area but forbids cigars to please cigarette smokers... Bearing in mind that no one actually complained while we were there. So it is a house policy. There are no signs warning customers so you would get stuck with your order then discover you can't smoke a cigar when the waiter spots you.

Was staying in raddison hotel so it was natural to go to this place more than once. Went there for happy hours and it’s a deal the ambience is good and gives u a nice cool vibe it was pretty dull at 6 but can’t complain Got lively as the night progressed. The service was fine and the beer was quite gud served in huge glasses Which was cool. They have a coffee aroma beer which is gud Food is a bit over priced and not very good the chicken wings were a bit to greasy and not that great. They have Saturday roast and Tuesday mussel nite and more offer so in all good for beer but average for food

It was our first visit over the long weekend - the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant has outdoor seating which is good while the weather still hasn't got too warm and if you don't want to get caught up in the smoke indoors. Can I just totally recommend the Ghent Waterzooi of seafood - it has the creamiest, most delicious sauce that you just want to lick off the plate and so many mussels! Very generous portions. Also a good choice - the 320G rib eye steak - it was cooked perfectly and cost not a lot!! Had a lovely chilled evening with our friends.

It is such a pity to enter this well known place and the first sentence you hear from the host is “we are not serving alcohol tonight!!”, me and my friends are very much aware about the dry night and we came only to have dinner. Once we responded to her by asking aren’t you serving dinner? She replied by saying we will close early at 11 tonight while it was only 9:30!! Such an unprofessional and untrained personnel at this branch!

Famous for outdoor sitting and nightlife! Quite goodish place in Abu Dhabi. I ordered Belgian fries and onion rings. Bit satisfied with the taste. Menu card is designed well with fascinating foodstuffs. Decor is soothing. Staff is decent and polite. Having adequate knowledge about each and every dish! Ambience is eye soothing and place is inclined on cozy side. Had a good and peaceful experience.

If you wanna have a drink, then this place is OK. Food, however, was terrible. We ordered two beef burgers which were supposed to be the chef's recommendation and we were really disappointed. I have tried so many burgers all over the UAE and this was one of the worst. As for the price, I think food is really overpriced considering the portion and quality. Not going back

Pub Food at its finest? For some odd reason I crave a good plate of deep fried Calamari when I decide to step out for a beer 😋 Not being the biggest fan of seafood, this appetizer always excites my taste buds! The Calamari at Belgian however was undercooked and very small in terms of portion size. I was a little disappointed as I have eaten at Belgian before and expected the food to WOW me. 😞 Service was on point, no doubt about that. I was attended too by three waiters who were very helpful and friendly as well. So kudos to good customer service and great beer!! 👊🏻👊🏻 Hoping for better portion size of appetizers on my next visit!

This is a drinking spot, no more than that. There are loads of beers on offer. Once you have had Atleast 2 draughts, then you can order food. Not before! As that's when your taste buds have been numbed. for safety have Atleast 3 before eating. Ordered 3 dishes, all very mediocre. I made the mistake of coming here for dinner with drinks. And not purely for drinks. Would I be back? Nope.

The customer services were very bad even the food was good. The waiter was willing steal my money when I given him from class 1000 DIRHAMS and he stolen 500 DIRHAMS based on I given him from class 500 DIRHAMS. I asked him about other 500 DIRHAMS, he appeared like he doesn't know me !!!, after asking him again he went very fast to refund my money. Unfortunately, his body language was very bad with indicators of stealing.

This review relates to the Friday brunch. While I liked having dinner at the Belgian Beer Cafe in recent years, the brunch left me decidedly underwhelmed. there is a menu with sweet and savory items. then there is a very underwhelming salad bar and a BBQ section where one can get burger beef, chicken wings, lamb and corndogs. The service was not exactly attentive either. Overall not a brunch I must visit again urgently.

I'm only giving them a low score due to a snaily pace of service, and if you dine at their terrace be sure to get mobbed by flies! -unless u ask them for some smoke which helps a bit and for a few mins. Otherwise, stay inside and enjoy your drink and food. Otheriwse, still good food and enjoyable drinks like the other bbc outlets in UAE. Also try their Saturday Roast deal at 99dhs paired with a 20Dhs draught beer!

Great place to be if u want to relax and eat all u can till 3 .great value for money and an awesome Belgian touch to ur brunch. We had ordered a Belgian breakfast and some scrambled eggs on a sour toast, what taste. To satisfy the demands of the sweet tooth we ordered some banana hot cakes glazed with vanilla butter. Never have I tasted anything so divine. Topped with a pleasant manager and wonderful staff, and a smashing n small barbecue I loved the place.

I came with a group of 10 for the Brussels Breakfast yesterday. I was very excited to have what I see as a prooer brunch (breakfast food at a later time). The food was excellent and the service was terrific. I especially loved the Eggs Benedict and the Waffles with berries. Everyone was pleased and agreed we would definitely come again.

This is my favorite Belgian cafe in Abu Dhabi. The staff the food everything is great. My favorite on the menu is garlic and cream mussels, the salmon, the Saturday roast mentioning amongst a few. I would recommend this place to all, friends who fancy a meal and a few drinks, casual date night, pre going out drinks etc All in all this is my fav go to cafe :)

My favorite spot on the Yas island. We always end up there for a nice lunch or dinner, it has good vibe, tasty food and so many options for beer lovers. If you are fan of mussels, here we go, you have plenty. My favorite is cheesy one. Their burgers and tartars are pretty amazing too. And of-course famous Belgian fries with mayo. Yesterday lunch was highlighted with huge sangria jar (they do sangria Saturday's), chicken burger, steak tartar on a toast (starter portion), fried calamari and chicken skewers with fries. All was tasty, fresh, served in reasonable time. You can never go wrong with this place.

Last night, me and Matt decided that we wanted to go out for a beer. We really couldn’t be bothered to go far from were we are staying at the moment, so we popped down to the Belgian Beer Cafe, situated in the Radisson Blu on Yas Island. We’d seen the place before loads of times – whilst we were here on our preview trip and in passing whilst staying on Yas Island for the past 7 weeks – but we hadn’t yet gone in. But we’re so glad we finally got round to going!

CONFUSED? We went to your website. Found a very exciting menu featuring - "quite surprisingly" - a lot of exciting looking PORK dishes so went to the restaurant where - "quite surprisingly" - THE MENU WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - with "not surprisingly" no pork dishes at all??? Are we going mad - too much UAE sunshine - or is your website misinformed ? The chicken wings were average. The Belgian fries were average. The tiger prawns in garlic butter were worse than average. The skin on the beef sausages was inedible and the "stoemp" (I am a Belgian) was also average. So all-in-all a very average experience for +- 100 Euros I know it is not comparing apples to apples but the same meal would have cost less than half back home and been twice as tasty So as your average Belgian I would not go back to the Belgian Beer Cafe to eat very average Belgian food. I don't think I am being too chauvinistic when I say that: "Belgian food is "on average" the finest in the world, so I am afraid the Belgian Beer Cafe is giving Belgian food a bad name. Shame on you!

This location did not serve pork. I'm not sure if it was because of Ramadan but the server made it sound like they do not serve pork at all. The food was still good and beers were delicious. Service was good as well. I would recommend the one at the intercontinental though -- better atmosphere and pork!

Went there yesterday with a friend. We sat outside. The music was so loud and we asked to turn down the volume, which happened for 5 minutes, and after that back to loud. We spoke with the manager who said 'the volume is set at the level which I feel is good'. This arrogant and ignorant attitude is not acceptable. And besides that what does lounge music have to do with a Belgian Beer Cafe.... The explanation was 'that is the concept'. For sure the manager and his staff have no clue. Change this and we will be back. We were happy with the addition of this venue to the Radisson Blu Yas. But let the staff not damage the reputation.

Stick to the beers and mussels !! Tried the bitterballen and the duck rillettes. Not that good. Also had the Belgian waffle. It s was dry and not fresh at all. Very disappointed. But mussels were really good. Had Thai red currie, traditional and garlic and cream.

I've been here many times and I can honestly call myself a regular guest now. The beef skewers are amazing, especially the sauce. And the mussels are to die for. Every time I get them perfectly cooked. And the top for me is the bitterballen. Different than the other bbc's, and I've had a few people tell me that it's not authentic, but I am dutch and let me tell you these are new and improved ones. Much better than the supermarket freezer Mora crap people usually compare bitterballen to. In my opinion a winner.

Mussels are nice. Appetisers and desserts were a bit disappointing. Atmosphere is more like a pub. Not ideal for celebrations. Mussels live up to expectation though.

I am a regular BBC guest in Dubai, and my trust in the chain made me go to the one in Radisson Blue Yas Island, to stay in my comfort zone, and Boy was I disappointed, we ordered 3 Burgers, two medium well and 1 well done, and I only ordered the Medium well to maintain some juice in the beef, I also ordered mine with blue cheese, all three burgers came well done, and dry like the desert sand, and my blue cheese was barely there, conclusion, if my comfort zone is in BBC festival city, and madinat Jumeira, it doesn't necessarily mean it extends to Yas Island, so never again!!!
