Staying in Park Hyatt was quite an experience. My friend and I decided to have lunch in The Cafe. Upon entering we were greeted by Chef Ahmed who was truly welcoming. He did explain to us that they were serving brunch and didn't have a la carte. Because my friend was fasting, she didn't want to go for brunch. Chef Ahmed accommodated us and made her a veggie burger and a nasi goreng for me. We started off with a very fresh Greek salad. The food was amazing but what was more amazing was the service and the exception that they made for us. We are truly appreciative of the gesture and would highly recommend this restaurant. Kudos to the employees of the cafe especially Chef Ahmed.

The breakfast buffet is sumptous , they have crepes (my favorite) their chocolate sauce is not very sweet as most restaurants have it, they have fresh juices - although not pressed in front of you. Fruits are precut and served. They offer eggs benedict which was well done.I have seen bigger selection at other buffets but the quality is superior to other resorts of the same class. For lunch we had the salmon and the steak - both were deicious. The salads were also tasty and fresh. For dinner my absolute favorite was the grilled tiger prawn and my husband adores the lamb chops.

The brunch at The Café is fairly good with a strong presence in the seafood area: Oysters, Lobsters, mussels, razor clams all are available. On the Sushi front unfortunately only rolls are available. Also noteworthy is the grill station which offers shrimp, tenderloin and lamb amongst others.
The warm buffet items are of good quality with a good variety. Closing the meal is an extensive cheese section and of course sweets.
Only downside on the beverage front is that the mocktail selection is very limited. the other thing not that great was, that the silverware had stains. They were swiftly exchanged, however I think that this should have been caught when setting up the table.
Overall the brunch is worth its 250 aed plus taxes, especially if one is into seafood

The cafe is a nice place to dine. We came for a buffet but we found that there was not much selection of food and could have been a better variety. The food we had still tasted good. Not to mention it is in the entertainer too.

During our stay at the Park Hyat Saadiyat Island we had breakfast at The Cafe!We loved their live cooking stations and the offering of healthy choices for breakfast! The outdoor seating nearby the pool was perfect to start the day and the service was excellent.
Be careful of the birds if you leave your table unattended even for a couple of minutes...Don't forget to pass by the pool in the evening as the view is spectacular!

The Cafe was our breakfast spot while we stayed at the Park Hyatt and it was a great ambiance and delicious food, especially the waffle station! Located on Saadiyat beach, it's a paradise rediscovered every morning! Also went there for lunch and the pasta was soooooo good!

When: Thursday Night
Type: Buffet (Authentic/Lots of choices) Fine Dinning feel (dim lighting)
Service: Eye for detail 6/10, Promptness 7/10, Can do attitude 8.5/10 [served me Coke in a bottle as I requested]

A welcome surprise in Abu Dhabi!

Food was actually tasty, and had authentic flavor: the meat selection, pastas (made to order), Arabic mezze, huge salad station, freshly cooked bread, and cheese selection.
Dessert options were rather limited in choice and flavor :(

A really nice and calm breakfast ! The atmosphere is quite and cozy when it's early ! It's not a huge variety of food but it's good quality and tasty !
The staff are always smiling and friendly which is a plus too ! I had Bircher muesli which was on the thick side but still perfectly sweet and crunchy I topped it off with berries and honey ! The pastries / sweets were great too ! And the peach was surprisingly ok ! ( because many hotels don't have that much great fruit ) in conclusion a great calming breakfast ! I would liked them to have crepes though … ;)

Right after checking in and seeing our lovely room, we headed down to Friday Brunch. We came in to The Cafe through the outside door, so we were able to see all the different things that happen on the outside, before we were seated indoors. Firstly, the brunch includes access to the pool, so as your walking across the courtyard, theres many people enjoying the pool area. There’s also plenty of seating outdoors if you want to enjoy the nice weather thats finally arriving. On the corner of one of the outdoor seating areas, there is a grilling station where you can have all types of seafood and steaks grilled.

We were promptly seated indoors and we explored all of the different food stations that they had. As you first walk in, you see the Asian station, where you could get freshly steamed buns or rice paper spring rolls. Its made with special teriyaki sauce, your choice of chicken or beef, and traditional vegetables.

For starters, there’s a table full of mezze type dishes. Along with the typical Arabic appetizers, theres also different kinds of salads, pickled goods and even a baked ricotta!

On another table, there’s amazing array of seafood laid out. From mussels and oysters, to king crab and tiger prawns, they’ve got it all. On the other side of this display, there’s even more seafood! The other side has things like smoked salmon and trout mousse. There’s also a foie gras terrine. Delicious!

If your feeling meat-y there’s a carving station with all of the different kinds of comfort foods including brisket, baked salmon, Yorkshire pudding, and delicious gravy. There’s also things like potatoes au gratin and crispy battered onion rings. There’s also a station where you can get burgers made to your liking.

If you’ve got kids, this is definitely the brunch for you– they’re so child-friendly. There’s a whole table for kids foods, filled with things like breadcrumbed shrimp, french fries and other foods that your kids will definitely not say ‘no’ to. Not only can they play in the pool while your having adult brunch time, but they also have access to Camp Hyatt, the children’s play area which is fully supervised by trained adults. Khalifa is only a year old so he’s a bit too small for all of that, but he did enjoy some of the things at the kids food table.

Now my favorite thing from this whole brunch was the desserts. There were 3 dessert areas– first the large spread of mini cakes, and then there’s a table with fruits and a chocolate fountain, then there was also a gelato cart! All of the mini cakes looked so good, so I had a taste of a few but my favorite was the matcha green tea eclair. Oh my god, so yum!

The gelato cart is also really amazing because the cups are paper cups, so you can take your gelato out to the pool once your done with brunch, and enjoy it as you waddle your feet in the water– which is exactly what we did!

The brunch with soft drinks costs 310 Dhs, with house beverages it is 380 Dhs, and with special sparkling beverages, it is 500 Dhs. Remember, you have free access to the pools and the gorgeous beach included in the price!

I had breakfast at The Cafe whilst staying at the Park Hyatt on the weekend. It's buffet style and they serve the usual breads, cereals, fruits, hot food, sausages, beef bacon, roast tomatoes etc, as well as pancakes & waffles and a chef on hand to make eggs as per your request. I also noticed they served congee, typically an asian speciality was a nice touch. The restaurant gets very busy inside though so would recommend going down early.

We went to The Cafe for dinner, it has nice ambience and decor, the staff was friendly and attentive.

The drinks list could be improved cosindering that they have a fine dining restaurant one door away to support them and the food is not really different from any other international hotel in the city. Anyway, both food and drinks were good and our evening worthwile

Adam and I came here for the Friday "Park Brunch." We were seated by friendly and attentive waitstaff who took our beverage order before setting off to the buffet tables.

Everything looked promising! From the lovely ambiance to the wide array of food items to the throng of other customers-- we expected the best! The food was good, but only a few things were really great. For instance, the lobster was served chilled. It would have been nice to have had it warm and with drawn / browned butter. However, their "à la minute" items, including scallops, Wagyu burgers, and pan seared foie gras, were excellent! The chefs cheerfully took our order and then brought the items to our table! The portions were very small, of course, and even though it *is* a buffet--and an expensive one at that-- I felt a bit awkward asking for seconds.

The Park Hyatt Brunch starts at 310 AED per person (food and soft drinks). For 380 AED per person, standard house beverages also come with the meal. A full-price meal also buys a beach pass... Now, THAT is an added bonus!

Adam and I hit the beach after brunch. The Saddiyat Beaches are all wonderful-- with white sand, aqua waters, and real waves! The Park Hyatt provided lovely beach chairs and an umbrella. Now THIS is the best way to end a Friday Brunch meal! :-)
