Fiinally got my hands on the classic Banana Pudding and the Chocolate Hazelnut Banana Pudding. My personal favorite was surprisingly the Banana Pudding, it tasted so heavenly! The chocolate hazelnut was actually Nutella - it was very enjoyable too. Both the puddings had actual banana slices layered with wafers and pudding. Definitely a must try! 🤤 Loved the packaging too in cute tiny tubs and well thought of them to send a packet of ice cubes along with it so that the puddings stay cold. Delivery was on time too. 🙌

Always heard and seen how people react and look forward to the famous banana puddings from this bakery, missed their offer few weeks ago when it was up for 5aed only! Ordered today and it was y.u.m.m.y! The serving portion as I thought it would be and tasted fresh and we'll balanced between the pudding, cake and banana's ... Amazing stuff and very enjoyable. Defo must try for people with a sweet tooth as myself 😁

We ordered cake chocolate with coffee filling. It was like a sugar overdose and more overdose. It was not worth the money. Truly money wasted on such a bad cake. Next time please taste your cake before giving it to your customer

We used to patronize this branch. Once we forgot something and we have sent a pm to their WhatsApp number since they have also wrongly given us our take-out order. Thinking that they have already acknowledged what we have lost, we went back to the branch after a week to ask politely if they have seen our stuff. The two female staffs whom we have seen when we were there rudely replied in a duet that they have already thrown it and that it's just a ____. It may be just that but it is something that we can no longer find anywhere. Besides the value of a thing doesn't matter, one should empathise with the customer first. Sentimental value is priceless and we don't appreciate the way they have approached us. They are disrespectful and discriminatory. These people need to be retrained about customer service.

Had been a fan of magnolia bakery, until they forgot to deliver a Birthday cake which was on order. Funny enough, the staff on duty had no idea of the order and stated they would call back upon following up. However, no call was received and had to again call back to the bakery to affirm with a revert stating they didn’t call since they couldn’t find the order in the system. Next issue comes up with no driver for delivery as the time has been past 6 pm. Only resolution was to postpone the bday itself! Really taken aback by the level of service and resolution. An unexpected by magnolia, believe such establishment could service in any means; just because of their food quality or reputation

Ordered lemon cake and some cupcakes for my sons birthday. Lets start with lemon cake. Stale, hard, dry cake with basic whipped cream and tiny spots of lemon curd. It was uneatable! We were so disappointed! Cupcakes were better but frosting extremely sweet, sugar crunchy, wasn't blended properly. Absolute waist of money in these hard times. I will never order again!

I placed an order to enjoy with my family who would be leaving the next morning. The cakes came smashed up with the toppings off. I made a complaint via Zomato straight away and was told Magnolia would be ringing be straight back and a fresh batch would be on its way straight away. 2 days later, we still are yet to receive a phone call or a replacement. Won’t be ordering from here again. Very bad service.

In terms of cakes & the banana pudding - everything was up to Magnolia Bakery standards. Tasty and just great. Although the new red velvet banana pudding was a bit disappointing because the taste of banana pudding was dominating in such a way that you could not feel the taste of red velvet at all. Staff were overwhelmed and could not cope with the amount of clients at all. Most of the tables had lots of dirty dishes of them and the staff did not have time to clean them. We decided to place our order directly at the cashier because otherwise it was taking forever. We also carried our 3 cakes directly to the table and had to look for cutlery because the staff were completely lost.

The banana pudding from Magnolia has been on my crave list for months and when I finally got to try it, it did not disappoint! The creamy goodness punctuated with the biscuit crunch was absolute bliss. We also ordered a carrot cake cupcake which was really good but paled in comparison to the banana pudding! Definitely going back there just for the pudding!

Let me be honest ... I was super excited to try this after hearing all about it , But to my sadness i was not impressed by it at all . The set up and ambience of the places is pretty . This place is not the friendliest if you are worried about your waistline or your budget. But. BUT. Their cakes are probably the only cakes where when they say it’s iced with BUTTERCREAM, it’s freaking buttercream. Hands down, my ultimate favourite place of indulgence. I love the cupcakes here - they are really yummy and right to the flavours. The red velvet is my favourite and a must try! They are also known for their famous Banana Pudding - which I found average. If you like bananas and pudding then this is it for you. The Chocolate Pudding Parfait is pretty yum as well. Overall a cute place for dessert or quick coffee. This was the full pan breakfast which came with choice of #eggs, roasted truffle #mushroom, baked potatoes, grilled #halloumi, cherry tomato with granary bread and #avacado smash as I opted for a #veggie version (as opposed to the beef bacon) . . The #Frenchtoast is light and fluffy with not too sweet buttery brioche bread with cinnamon and mixed berries. Just delicious! 😋 . . Best thing about this breakfast @thegalleriauae was that it’s available all day and on the @entertainerauh app with a great 241 deal on a la carte items! 😉 . . Defo a great start to the day! I visited this place Just to try their famous Banana Pudding that’s been all over instagram for a while now. You get a pretty good amount for a good price and it was really reallyy good. It was also extremely filling. I also tried their German Chocolate Cupcake and it was delicious. Their hot chocolate however, could be improved a lot. Overall I liked the experience and their interiors are also really adorable and nice. I m really looking forward to coming back here to try their other cakes and cupcakes.

Had tea and cupcakes .. the taste is amazing but the staff is not friendly at all. I think they are not use to many walk ins . We went to try the famous Banana Pudding. Along with that we also tried the Vanilla Cake with Butter Cream Frosting and Milk Cake. The Banana Pudding is good but I have had better. Yes, I have had better. In Pakistan, we have a sweet dish called fruit cake truffle. One of my uncles (who is an amazing cook himself) makes it better than you guys. His dish is finger licking good. Literally finger licking good. Milk cake was very fresh and soft and very delicious. Well for the Vanilla Cake with Butter Cream Frosting. It was excellent and yummilicious. It was very fresh and the sponge inside was so soft that I was left wanting for more. This is by far the best cake I have eaten in Abu Dhabi.

This place is a sugary heaven. I've only tried their pastries so I can only comment on that. I love their Banana pudding. You cannot leave this place without getting a banana pudding. I have a friend who works there and tells me its always freshly made so we can rest assure. Another all time favorite is the red velvet cheese cake. Not too sweet and velvety taste. Pure awesomeness in a small package. Last is the carrot cake. You can never go wrong with these choices.

I was curious to check how their cake is because a friend gave us Magnolia's banana pudding and i liked it. We ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla icing and I've always want to buy a red velvet cake. So we gave it a go and i was surprised with the red velvet cake. Not too sweet and normally the cake is like a bread but this is different. Cant tell what since im no cake expert, but one thing i know that their cakes are delicate and oozing with moisture. The icing as you know are really sweet and tasty. The hot choco they served though was only "warm". Their homemade iced tea with a flavor of raspberry - love it too!

The cakes and deserts are nice but there breakfast not so good. We ordered baked eggs with goat cheese. The food was not baked properly and when we showed the staff that one half is baked and other half not done well and if you could bake it a while longer. They just snapped at us and said that’s how it is done here. I wish they could be more courteous and listen to the customer.

Went with Sharon Sunil on a Saturday... Became fairly crowded after noon.. We ordered the infamous banana pudding, carrot cupcake, beef bacon and caramelized onion pie and hot chocolate... The banana pudding was amazing and out of the world. For 17 bucks got a reasonable small size pudding but it was perfect for my tastebuds... The carrot cupcake had a cream cheese frosting that had a bit too much saltiness in it.. My friend didn't like it and had only the cake which was moist and very yummy.. Just like how a carrot cake should be.. I didn't mind the saltiness in the cream cheese because I felt it kinda compensated for the other sweet stuff...overall I enjoyed the carrot cupcake.. However, we wished they have more variety of cake slices as shown in the menu.. The hot chocolate was normal and the pie was very good... All in all, good ambience, yummy high quality food.. Their pudding and cakes are a must must try...

I’ve been wanting to try magnolia bakery banana pudding for a while now .. so the other day after my toddler was done with his play at caboodle in the galleria mall , I thought to eat it there .. but unluckily toddler slept as too tired after his play .. so had to go with a takeaway ..absolutely loved how exquisite the bakery looks .. the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly .. actually felt more like I was taking time to choose lol ... so I ordered banana pudding , hummingbird cupcake and a slice of classic chocolate cake with buttercream frosting .. I thought I wouldn’t have any money left for cab to go home lol but pleasantly surprised at how reasonable and affordable the place is !! Total money’s worth!! Even though my husband disagrees,maybe coz it’s going from his pocket lol anyway so banana pudding finished really fast .. absolutely yum!! Loved the cheese frosting in my cupcake and the chocolate cake was completely moist .. loved all three and will definitely visit the bakery again for more !!!

I went to this place once and tried their Mac&Cheese, and God I felt like I'm eating a really good thing that I can't describe, maybe that was because I was famished but it was really good, and u can actually know that the type of cheese they use is danish because of the quality. I know alot about cheese because I'm a cheese lover, and I knew when I had the firat bite that they use one of the best types of cheese's that are sold in UAE. We visited this bakery first time, very pleasant atmosphere and lovely interior.We ordered two main dishes spaghetti Bolognese and chicken cob salad, spaghetti portion was way to small as for main dish and not enough of actual sauce bolognese, basically quite dry. Cob salad was fine, but not impressive. As I saw people were buying a lot of sweets, so next time will give a try for cakes and cupcakes, all of them looked lovely.

first time here dinning with my dad and we both loved it. Such a cute place and such sweet staff. My dad ordered an omelet that i stole a bite from and it was spectacular. I ordered the yogurt and granola and it wasn’t my favorite thing that i’ve ever eaten. The yogurt tasted a bit like labneh which threw me off but other than that it was good. The cupcakes and cakes are adorable however and you can tell they were decorated with passion.

Since it's selfservice, we had to go to the main counter.On asking if they had a dessert menu, we were just told off to check the shelves which had limited stock and even didn't have the pudding in it which we again had to specially ask for ! Personally I just think it's over hyped, tastewise the pudding was good but contradictory to the pics posted on insta it was just plopped onto a tiny bowl and no presentation at all which cost me 25 aed ! Would I drive all the way to the Galleria mall just for this...guess no !

Still on a Abu Dhabi day, we craved something sweet after lunch and made our way to Magnolia in the Galleria. I must say first and foremost, it was rather confusing getting there even with a GPS as there is a lot of construction. So please pay attention. What a gorgeous little bakery it is though. Everything is made daily and you can even watch them decorate the cakes orders. We chose the carrot cake cupcake - I am a sucker for carrot cake in any shape or form. And I can honestly say I judge people based on their carrot cake and particularly their cream cheese frosting. This cream cheese had me licking everything it touched. It was SO smooth. Absolutely delish!! We also had the white chocolate macadamia cheesecake and Magnolia Bakery Famous Bananna Pudding. All of them were really nice. Coffees were a bit disappointing, over extracting made it bitter. We do need to come back to try some other goodies.

The cupcakes get a lot of love here, but I must say that their brownie bars are to die for. Also, the banana pudding. This is the type of indulgence you have to have very sparingly, but it is amazing. I wish you could order delivery through zomato, but only delivery through deliveroo seems to work. Either way, they are high up on my list of places to go to when I'm in need of a sugar fix. Love.

just tried 3 kind of cakes.. peanut butter cake is a vry delicious one .. chocolate swirl cheesecake is as good as the peanut butter.. vanilla cake is ruined by the frosting which was so much sweet so much butter so much sugar if they use a normal creme instead of this sugar frosting it would be better i think.

Being a chocoholic my first few picks at bakeries are always brownies and cupcakes with chocolate flavor. Magnolia seems to be the first name which everyone mentions when cake recommendations are asked around. I found the decor of the cafe very pretty but the cake taste was average. It tastes like any simple home made cupcake with buttercream icing. The brownie also tastes very basic. I guess its a good place if you want to have your homemade cake taste, but if you are searching for something with bursting flavors, or a really good quality chocolate taste then this isn't the place. I will return to taste their puddings and ice boxes.

It was our friend's birthday and we bought our cake present in Magnolia's Bakery. We chose to have chocolate cake and carrot cake. Though the cake is just plain and simple but the very core of it rocked us. It was delectably good in our palate. I love their carrot cake. I don't know if they opted to keep their cakes simple but it would ne nice if they can make their cake more visually appetizing.

Everyone speaks about the banana pudding in magnolia bakery, but frankly I have eaten many other deserts from this places except that, since I hate bananas. Anyways the cakes and cupcakes are always delicious and fresh. I like the ambience and interiors of the place. The staff are friendly too, but sometimes their service is a bit slow. I would definitely recommend this place for a quite desert and coffee craving.

To start with very friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered devils cake and chocolate cake, though chocolate cake blew my mind away the devils cake don't quite leave a mark, it had a bitter taste to the buttercream ( devils cake is chocolate cake filled and covered with mocha buttercream), like there was a little bit of coffee powder that hasn't dissolved well with the other ingredients. Do try out their lemonade too....refreshing.

I ordered today the salted caramel pecan cheesecake, nothing special, I could not even taste the salt from the caramel. As a passionate hobby baker I must say that their cheesecakes are only average. The fluffiness is missing, you just taste the horrible heavy cream. People who tried cheesecakes in Europe will understand what I mean.

The cupcake is fine, consistent flavor over the years. I'm not really happy about the pricing for cake decoration as I've ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. And there wasn't really any decorating done! The cake was frosted, but no roses or sprinkles on the cake. The only addition was the chocolate bar on which the greeting was written and honestly it doesn't justify the extra thirty dirhams. The cakes on display were decorated much better than my ordered cake.

I used to get my fav banana pudding from the Dubai branch. Now, I often get it from Galleria. The other day, I decided to try the salted caramel banana pudding for take away. For the first time, they took the pre-packed banana pudding from the fridge (as shown in the picture) without scooping it like the usual. When I got home and opened it, it only had the custard with no pieces of bananas or cakes or cookies, basically no chunk pieces in the tub. I felt cheated. I literally cut and added my own bananas in the tub after. I was so disappointed!

My first visit to this branch with friends after dinner for some sweet time. I'd say it's decent yet pretty famous bakery offering cup cakes. Pancakes and cheese cakes to suit your taste and likes. Service is not at all welcoming and at times you feel they're rude. Price is on higher side hence the mall ambiance. Self service with no menu available to choose from the vast variety they have to offer. I've been to their other branches. This one is particularly low in service and taste both.

With a team as sweet and inviting as their red velvet cheesecake, Magnolia Bakery is a quaint little place with a homely and cosy atmosphere. Beverages on their menu are reasonably priced, and we started with a Mocha each which was warm and chocolatey. Fettuccine Milano was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while with creamy white sauce, bits of grilled chicken and tangy sun-dried tomatoes, alongside two slices of crisp and flavourful garlic bread. Pulled Beef Biscuit was quite messy to eat and average in taste, but the biscuit parts were really fresh and crumbly. Despite being stuffed after the coffees and mains, we couldn't resist trying the Lotus Cheesecake, one of their best sellers at the moment, which was a real guilty pleasure with its decadent 'dulce de leche' topping and thick base of sweet Lotus biscuit. The location is just fine and the place is small. Grandma uses a wheelchair and she barely found a space. We had different plates of eggs and it was not good enough. I don't understand the cream thing in every single dish! Why they have cream here and there LOL 😂 However service was nice but they took so long like 20 minutes as I remember. Bakeries were tasty! I believe that's their strength. I had berries cheesecake; it was just fine. The berries topping missed up the whole thing; it has a weird taste screaming "I'm not fresh ". Chocolate pudding was delicious and the quality of the coffee and the tea was average. Overall the prices weren't high especially the beverages.

Love the decore that takes me back in time... the black and white tile floors... so vintage. Mixed with the flavors of sugar and coffee in the air... as they are baking and getting the muffins dressed. Such a welcoming place. Nice atmosphere Did not have a clue they served food.... last time I went I did thought though it was funny they had salt and pepper on all tables. But did not find any menús around. Guess I always been between breakfast and lunch time. Or between lunch and dinner. Will try to give it a go any time soon.

Loveee the vanilla cupcakes !! They are so good melts in your mouth with the perfect amount of sweetness. The bakery is very cute in itself. Pastel colour theme and a cozy sitting area. Yesterday we bought a dozen cupcakes to take over to a friend's house. We live on Reem island so the journey from magnolia galleria mall to our house was a very short one with the box safely placed in the car. However I noticed that the top of the box had become stained. After opening the box to make sure the cupcakes weren't melting, I discovered something worse. They had all toppled over. They were barely held in place in the box. We were very disappointed that the whole box had been ruined by terrible packaging and a rushed member of staff. The place was quite crowded and you could sense the staff were rushing to accommodate all. I am writing this review so that care is taken next time with such matters. Maybe a review of the cupcake box could also be done.

Visited Magnolia bakery for some coffee during Ramadan. They are open during the days, behind curtains, which makes it a great spot for food/coffees if around that area. Tried the banana pudding, which i most say was extremely good and the carrot cake, that was good but not as impressive as the pudding. Coffee was very good. Service at the counter was friendly.

Tried their caramel pecan cheesecake. Didn't quite make the cut for me. The cheesecake had a strange after taste. To me was no better than the ones you pick at cold stores. If you will come across The Galleria Mall, in the middle of all the luxury brand stores you will see a very cute café with a touch of baby blue and white decors. They have huge varieties of cakes, cupcakes and coffees. But my all time favorite is the Banana Pudding!😋 Last time we went here, they launched the Chocolate Banana Pudding so we tried both to see the difference. They were both good but nothing beats the original flavor. 🙂 Oh and by the way, don't forget a cup of take away in case you still want more while enjoying your netflix. 😁

Absolutely favourite place for any of my sweet cravings. Two things genuinely caught my attention here are: The banana pudding and the red velvet cake. On different birthday occasions we have ordered the Red Velvet Cake and not even once have they disappointed and consistency is always appreciated. The Banana pudding is just perfect, not too sweet not too less sweet either. It the right amount to satisfy anyones sweet tooth. Hey!!! I have always loved your cupcakes, and even after the u fortunate incident I had a while back, I was always given the best quality cupcakes since. But today, unfortunately I got delivered vanilla based cupcakes with chocolate frosting and the vanilla base was tasteless, bland and tasted stale!!! I am quite disappointed again 😑 After much a due, I finally got my hubby to get me some cupcakes from this much spoken about place. But I must say, I was truly disappointed. I had a vanilla based cupcake with chocolate cream, and the cake was not fresh at all. Was very hard to bite into, and the taste of having something sweet just died then and there. Heavenly, decadent, deliciousness! ❤❤❤ I ordered a Date Cake that was oh so moist and dense and rich! Divine! While my husband went for an Apple Crumble which was equally amazing! 👌👌👌 I can't find these two in the current menu, but I'm pretty sure their other offerings will be just as, if not more, delicious! And the Americano I had with my cake was real good too. I would recommend this place again and again.

Came here as it was highly recommended, and the food was good. A large group of us ordered multiple cupcakes, and the confetti chocolate ones were particular favorites. We also ordered a chocolate cake which was decent. However the customer service leaves much to be desired, and is the main reason I am writing my first review. The lady serving us practically threw our cutlery at us, and both her and the gentleman at the cashier's desk were incredibly snobbish and rude. I will not be dining here again, and will not have good things to say to friends about this place either.

I was in the mall and this place really caught my eye. It looked so cute and cozy and I loved the colours and decor! The cakes looked soooo delicious so we asked which is the most popular. They gave us three of the most popular as options, the red velvet, the carrot and the German chocolate (if I remember correctly). We opted for the carrot and the slices were huge so we shared. To be honest, it was nothing special or memorable. Carrot is supposed to have an extremely creamy icing with a distinct taste. This was just sweet sweet sweet with no distinct taste - the only taste was really sugar. It was still good, but didn't live up to expectations at the end of the day. It wasn't enough to bring us back again, even though we do visit the mall often. Perhaps we should have chosen another flavour, im not sure.. but it looked better than it tasted.

I loved their chocolate Swirl Cheesecake. Good service and beautiful decor and interiors. We tried the Banana Pudding their best seller. And it tasted good but too less the quantity. Was really looking forward to try their cupcake custard but wasn't available that day.

I kinda find this mall useless but went specifically to try Magnolia with Mumsie to have a light dinner as we weren't particularly hungry. I had initially wanted to order pasta but the baked Eggs & Goat Cheese meal caught my eye and after I found out they serve all day breakfast, my decision was made. I wasn't sure about their servings so I decided to order an Avocado toast as well. Good thing I did as the Egg/Cheese combo was on the small portion side. I had never had baked egg or goat cheese but I was immediately in love with it...one thing I found annoying is they said it came with salad, but it was literally 3 small Rocca leaves drizzled with an oil vinaigrette. I wish they would put what ingredients came on the avocado toast because I was not expecting pickled onions at all so I immediately took those out but it was actually delicious. Mom ordered the Fettuccine Milano which was creamy and came with delicious roasted tomatoes, but man oh man they were way too generous with the olive oil...after a few bites, it feels a bit gross going down. We were too stuffed to try out the baked good but maybe next time as I would definitely give it a try again. Our server Ryan was so attentive and just looked like one of those people that loves their job...we were so happy with his service. Magnolia - think about downtown or corniche Abu Dhabi please

I tried the banana pudding after i wrote most of the ppl are suggesting to go for it , the first thing i asked the Cashir is if i can i try it and they were sweet and they offer us to try it before we decided ,it really has a flavor that tickles all the senses of taste in the moth it really took me back to the time when my mum used to make something like that . Although, its a small restaurant but they have self service its not good for lazy ppl . However the workers there are really welcoming and friendly. I also like the ambience and the decor of the place its kinda cute and unique with this classic touch on the tables and the chairs which really got my eyes . An anniversary cake was ordered by cousin from here and she said cakes here are just like the home baked cakes not too sweet and it's yum , well when I had their Devils chocolate cake I strongly agree to it.... I have had to revise my review as I used to think this place was the best (way back when they opened in Dubai Mall and then in Galleria Mall). They used to have the best cakes and cupcakes in town. I recently went with 2 friends and we were all shocked at the drop in quality. The red velvet cake (which used to be their best selling cake by far) tasted bitter and horrible. I couldn't even take more than 2 bites. The same goes for their carrot cake (barely had any taste). It seems they are using lower quality ingredients now. Such a shame! I prefer Beverley Cakes in Khalifa City now, their cakes are freshly baked and taste delicious.

My first experience with magnolia was when we bought a carrot cake for our sisters bday, and I did have a chance to be there yesterday on my way out of the mall after attending a meeting. Their carrot cakes are probably not anything like the usual creamy , cheesy or sugary dessert that you might find in every other restaurant. It is got a unique taste which might not win everyones heart,but sure will win the heart of the people who are trying to keep a low sugar level in their diet. We ordered a banana pudding , which was definitely delicious. Every spoon of it is was enjoyable , and I do guarantee that you will be wiping that plate of yours until it looks as good as new.

It was superb, everything I hoped for and more. The carrot cake was so delectable, incredibly filling, it was a meal in itself. A charming cafe lay out on Al Maryah Island, and with options for all. For cakes and coffees a must-visit. I'll be here for birthday cakes for the foreseeable.

Magnolia bakery is my FAVOURITE! This place is so unique. It's ambience is very inviting and their cakes, puddings and desserts are AMAZING. I often buy the magic cookie, honestly, it is the most delicious dessert I've tasted. Lots of people I know love the banana pudding, I've heard it is very good and I will probably try it next time I'm here. Another advantage is that it is open for dine-in during Ramadan with a curtain covering all windows. This allows visitors to sit and enjoy their mouthwatering desserts without having to take away. I recommend this to anyone who has a sweet tooth. It's well with the visit.

More than anything, the whole place was very inviting and gay (happy). Which it should be when you have cupcakes in mind for your afternoon tea. I wanted to say we wanted to have a break from too much walking and shopping, yet the mall is too small and we didnt do any shopping lol. I have yet to google the bakerys history, all i can say is that its from new york (shop title) and its famous for cupcakes and baked goodies. We had to try the red velvet cupcakes (with cream and with vanilla cream) plus a blueberry cheesecake. Sweets coupled with americano and cappuccino was a perfect afternoon treat. The cupcakes were good, could have been more moist and the cheesecake was fabulous except we wanted a thicker crust. The coffee well tasted and smelled like coffee lol. The wonderful staff also gave us extra sprinkles for the baby. My only complain was their cupcakes were too small for cavemen like me haha

I have heard about their famous banana pudding for some time now and it's only now that I had the chance to actually visit. This bakery is located in a very upscale mall in Al Maryah Island, so this place is really not so much of a trend for people like me, haha. Well anyway, I was so excited to try their banana pudding because first of all, I love bananas! It doesn't really look that appetizing, but when you have your first taste, oh my, it was heavenly indeed! I ordered the large size. I actually kinda' regretted ordering the large bowl because this recipe, although very good, was kinda' sweet and you only really need a small serving to satisfy your appetite. The other one I ordered was the Red Velvet Cheesecake. I have not really tasted anything red velvet before so I don't know how I can describe it or where I can compare it to. But to cut this short, I honestly didn't enjoy eating it, it tastes somewhat odd for me. Well anyway, if it's worth anything, you definitely have to try their famous banana pudding! Also, I ordered their Raspberry iced tea. And I'm discouraged that they have such a small glass. It's not enough for one person, knowing you have to flush all that sweetness from their sugary concoctions. They should have a larger glass, just a suggestion.

Definitely the best cakes in town. My husband and I head here every time we have a craving for something sweet. Their service and friendly, the variety absolutely mind boggling. Though we vow to try something new every time, one look at our favourites leave us drooling and opting for them over and over again. If you've never been, the Banana pudding, which is their signature dessert is a good place to start. Also, if you like bananas, one slice of their banana chocolate will have you coming back for more. The German chocolate cake is pretty heavy, but so worth the calories. I am also a fan of their lemon cake, the sponge of which is light and airy, and the frosty so creamy and delicious.

I set a very high expectation before comming to this cafe since ive read so many good reviews and its located on galleria,but unfortunately it did not met my expectations. Desserts was awesome but they need to add some kick to the banana cream pie. Ceasar salad was a big thumbs up specially the pesto falovered chicken on top. Tuna melt and mac nd cheeze needs improvement in my opinion. It was too dry. Cheese was not even melting on the tuna melt. I felt that it was too expensive for a very ordinary kind of cafe.

In my opinion, Magnolia has the best cakes and cupcakes in town. Every time we have visited we have enjoyed a delicious treat. My wife loves their Devil's Food cupcake and their brownie. Both are moist, rich, and full of chocolatey goodness. The mocha buttercream frosting on the cupcake is also perfect. The caramel pecan cheesecake is also a good choice with it not being as tooth-shatteringly sweet as some of the other options. Pair it with an Americano for a smooth combination. We have also ordered a speciality cake from the bakery and received not only a beautifully decorated cake that tasted amazing, but also wonderful customer service. So Magnolia, you're amazing. We love you.

I have ordered the famous Magnolia banana pudding that everyone was talking about and it was very delicious! It contained some pieces of bananas and some cake crumbs (highly recommend if you are trying the bakery for the first time). Their coffee was hot, freshly made and it was good. I tried also the chocolate swirl cheesecake, it was fine. I didn't really like the very hard crust of the chessecake, it was kind of a struggle to cut it.

The only thing magical in the iconic Magnolia Bakery is its cakes. It's known widely for its delectable cakes and rightly so. Not only do they do yummy cakes, they also make it look beautiful. In fact, I am such a fan, my wedding cake was one of their more popular order, a gorgeous red velvet with cream cheese frosting cake. I usually order takeaway of their cupcakes or cakes but this time, after a nice lunch nearby, we decided to pop in for some dessert and coffee. Our order of German Cake and Caramel Cake was exquisite. The Caramel cake is a true classic. Light buttery buttercream layered on top a light chiffon cake . Very old fashion and although rich, not overly sweet. The German cake on the other hand is heavier as it has a denser cake base and layered richly with coconut, pecan and caramel. Both cakes are simply divine and will be perfect with a great cup of java or tea. In the contrary to previous reviews, the big disappointment is in the coffee they serve. One would expect the coffee which is such an important pairing to the sweet treats to be as flawless. Alas, to my disappointment, the mocha I ordered was very weak. A diluted version .... and skinny or not, it only tasted slightly better than those they served in a flask at the breakfast buffet. I am not a fan of coffee chain but you can definitely find better mocha there. It's a pity as this really negated my enjoyment of their other exquisite treats. Will be a takeaway next time till they up their drinks quality!

The rating I give is for and only for the gorgeous coconut macaroons and magic cookie bar's. Not 5 as the last cookie bar I got was a tad underdone so the inside was a bit runnier than what I had prior. The macaroons are the best ive had. Chewy and soft in the middle with a slightly spiced coconut flavour. love it. The Magic cookie bar is like the macaroon but with a choc chip cookie base and in a larger bar form. However, rather than a cookie its more like shortbread and when baked just right it is absolutely heavenly. Other things i've tried are the devils choc cake, sugar cookies, peanut butter and snickers icebox pie, peanut butter chocolate bar and banana pudding. All of which are good but notthing in comparison to the above two. Personal preference I suppose but I couldn't recommend them more Cheers MB!!!

Having visited the original Magnolia Bakery in its New York location we were very excited to see what the UAE branch at Galleria Mall had to offer. Upon arrival we were amazed to see that is is like a down-sized replica of the New York branch and features many of the most popular dishes from across the Atlantic. We now find ourselves regularly popping in to purchase cakes, or more often than not the banana pudding for which Magnolia Bakery is famous - you really must try this stuff as it is absolutely delicious (and staff are more than happy to give you a free sample if you ask). Whenever we visit the staff are always friendly and polite, and we love the location as it is generally quiet -so you can have a cup of coffee in peace. Whenever we visit we always end up coming home with more than we intended, as the cupcakes and other sweet treats are always so enticing - and we will literally buy anything that contains peanut butter. It is also nice to see some of the promotions on offer such as a coffee and cookie for a bargain 12 AED - it is great offers like this that will keep people coming back for more!

Looking at the rating and reviews of this place by others makes me think that I've visited Magnolia on a wrong day. The place has a chic parisian touch to it, and I loved how cheery and attentive the staff were. So we ordered a decent sized red velvet cheesecake, good for two. It was a pure disappointment. It only looked pretty and tasted like refrigerated old cake icing. Looks can be deceiving you know. It was not soft and fluffy how a cheesecake should be. The red colouring was too much, had our oral cavity dyed pinkish red. The base was hard, a nice chewy base would have been better. However I'd go back to try their banana pudding everyone is raving about. Suggestions are welcome 👍

Located on level 2 of galleria mall, further down the information centre and diagonally across TUMI, Magnolia houses more than just desserts and serves breakfast, salads, sandwiches and pasta in addition to their hot & cold beverages and juices. My sis loves their cupcakes which have a perfect base that is topped off with a dreamy frosting. I've also had their chocolate banana cake and carrot cake both of which were really good. The carrot cake is perfect blend of nuts, spice and sweetness finished with cream. The banana pudding here is really good and is a must try. Comprising of banana slices, vanilla cake wafers and creamy pudding, this is delight is simply heavenly. Anyone with a sweet tooth will definitely appreciate this place. Their staff are very helpful and service has always been impeccable.

The sweets didn't look too awfully appetizing considering it was in a pretty upscale mall. The taste of the cappuccino I ordered was mediocre, but what I need to point out is that my mug was only 1/2 filled with actual coffee and the rest was foam. Staff was friendly and efficient, but the 1/2 filled coffee was just unacceptable. Won't be coming back again.

After having dinner in galleria mall we decided to try Magnolia bakery for sweet tooth.. The decor was beautiful..such a beautiful theme..and the red velvet cake was absolute lush! I just found the frosting a bit too butterish but it was really tasty :)

I absolutely love this bakery! Last time I went I tried their Carrot Cupcake, Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese, Banana Pudding and Chocolate Chip Cookies with Sea Salt. Both cupcakes were amazing, both the sponge and icing were perfect! However I found the icing to be too much compared to the sponge. The pudding is amazing. The bakery is known for their banana pudding and it's obvious why this is so. It is a must try! The cookies were good but I found that they tasted better when they were warmed up a bit so that the chocolate chips were slightly melted and gooey. This place is a must if you're in Abu Dhabi!

This place is one of the cutest go to place if you're a bit of a sweet tooth like me. I would argue that the prices are a wee bit higher than the usual rating, however, the hospitality and overall ambience really makes up for it. I've even had breakfast here and I was not disappointed with their little combos. Their pies and cookies are my absolute favourites and I hear that their famous banana pudding is to die for. Their red velvet cake was too sugary for my liking but it balanced off with my slightly bitter latte.

i have only been here twice but had become a fan since the first time i visited. i still remember it was a red velvet cheese cake. it was the best cake ever that i had tried. not too dense like other places and not too creamy as well. the second time was a macademia cheese cake . i hope i am getting the names right. i remember the taste it was realllyy good. i was soo tempted to try out the other varieties that my frnds had to escort me out of the bakery. lol. well today i tried the carrot cake and cheese cake. i must say i am not a fan if carrot cake so it was knly ok for me. but since cheese cake is something tht i really like , i was totally in love wit this variety from magnolia . not too sweet , not too dense and not too creamy. just the perfect combination. i would love to go back again n again n again until i m done trying all their flavours.

One of my favorite bakeries in town! The smell here is heavenly, and the staff are extremely friendly :) The interior is what I enjoy the most, it gives the cozy feelings of town bakeries. I always come back for the Banana pudding!

A little confession, I'm not so much of a dessert person, but when I crave for something, am worse than a pregnant woman, I NEED IT, I REALLY DO. On a single bite of the Red Velvet Cheesecake, my taste buds did the happy dance. The cheesecake was velvety and creamy, the cheese wasn't too sweet either, just the way I prefer my cheesecake. Also, the red velvet texture was very tender and almost melted in my mouth. The quantity was quite generous, but then again it's priced at AED 30, so it better be. Moving on to the Peanut Butter Icebox Pie, this basically was Wafer crust layered with caramel, peanut butter and whipped cream, topped with Reeses peanut butter cups. I wasn't a huge fan of the wafer crust by itself, but it was very palatable, when I had it with the butter cups, however there were just a handful of butter cups on top, so it wasn't as delightful as I expected it to be. This again was priced at AED 30 and can easily be shared by two - three people. There was also an option of a Snickers Icebox Pie, which is something I might give a try on my next visit. The interiors of Magnolia are very vintage and chic and is the perfect place for a girls hang-out. There wasn't much interaction with the staff as such, but judging from the short conversation I had with the server, he seemed polite. Also lastly for all those who don't know, Magnolia isn't limited to just desserts, they also serve Salads and Pasta, but I would still not recommend this to the calorie cautious folks, as you're sure to get tempted and call in for something that would do you no good ;) Overall I would rate Magnolia a 3.5/5

This is my 2nd visit to this fancy cake shop. The best attractions is its pastel colour scheme and the wonderful vintage style display of the beautiful cakes. We tried the chocolate banana cupcake, Snickers crumble pastry, chocolate pudding parfait and lemon vanilla bundt cake slices. Both the times the cakes I tried were dry and the icing was hard, very sweet and too heavy. The banana pudding is signature and one of the must tries here. The chocolate pudding parfait is lovely but one cup can serve two. Nice place for an evening out with your girlfriends. The staff are really kind and friendly.

If you haven't tried their banana pudding then you must! Addictive and super delicious. The place is cozy and the staff are always smiling and their service is excellent. Cakes are very heavy so is the frosting. Cookies also not that good but in general where do you find a place that opens at 7:00 a.m with energetic and welcoming staff here in Abu Dhabi? I recommend their breakfast too. I love Magnolia's Bakery vibes ✨

Always wanted to try their desserts. Got a chance last week. I should tell, its a good place to have desserts. They are the first place i have tried whose cream/whipped cream is smooth and light and tastes really good. We had the devils chocolate cupcake (really good, you should try this if you are a chocolate fan, they add little coffee in it also i feel), banana cream pie (really good as well, truly banana flavour with crushed buscuit base and cover and whipped cream on top), pistachio cheesecake (heavy and not good), flourless chocolate cake (strong egg flavour and heavy). You should visit this place, definitely try their desserts. But remember that the desserts are packed with sugar therefore order minimal.

This is the first time I've tried their breakfast. I usually go there for their famous banana pudding and other desserts. But surprisingly their breakfast was really good! I ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon that comes with a side of salad and small baguettes with cheese on them and also a latte. It was so delicious and the ambience was so cozy and calm and just right. The food kind of takes long to be served but other than that it was a great experiece. Going there again to try out their other meals for sure!

Been working at The Galleria for the past week and I pass by this colourful place every 10 minutes and I just had to go in. Ordered the truffle cupcake, vanilla butter cupcake, chocolate butter cake and their famous banana pudding. The best out of the lot was the buttery and creamy chocolate cake. The truffle cupcake had this creamy inside with chocolate covering which was only good when the both came in contact. Banana pudding was however, a letdown. The interiors are beautiful. Yea thats it.

For me, breakfast is a big deal. Most of the time it makes or breaks my day haha! I planned on trying Magnolia's breakfast but to be honest was extremely hesitant because this bakery is known for their dessert. But boy was I in for a surprise when my scrambled eggs with salmon turned up. The eggs were not over done and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The chives cream cheese on the French baguette and the side salad made the whole ensemble super satisfying. My friend ordered the baked eggs with spinach and cream. Didn't really look like something I'd enjoy. So if you are planning on trying their breakfast ,definitely go for the scrambled eggs!

The matte teal interiors surely work their magic along with vintage decors and the aroma - its therapeutic, hard to put into words. The most talked about banana pudding is very good but for me was slightly inclined on the sweet side. The red velvet cake simply stole my heart..... on a winter night a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.... bliss. P.S. Perhaps it impressed me even more, as I had just visited another awful bakery in town.

Well.. This is a place that will make u go bananas! I had to check this place out after hearing so much about this place for quite some time now. Being located in galleria mall which is outside the main Abu Dhabi island is the only downside about this place but it's totally worth going. The cupcakes were really good and I was suggested to try out the banana pudding by the staff. It was really sweet but extremely good. I took a medium size helping of the banana pudding but I felt that their quantity was just too generous that a medium helping would be good for two people to share. The ambience of this place would definitely cheer you up if you are having a bad day. The staff were extremely polite. It is definitely a great place to go out to satisfy you sweet tooth or for giving your kids a great treat. I personally loved my experience at this place.

U enter the place and it just smells yumm and v v tempting. Everything looks v v fresh and just yummy. We ordered a brownie and a pecan nut pie. While both were awesome, though the first impressions are perhaps a mirage. Still highly highly recommended. Just be careful of the calories. :)

Our 'weekend post dinner sweet craving' drove us to choose magnolia bakery to indulge in some sweet treats. We have always walked past this place, and wanted to try out. The place is decked up in an old school fashion, but with a sweet charm of a simple bakery. Their menu concentrates mainly on the sweet baked treats, however there is a decent sandwich and coffee collection too. It's display of the treats is a pretty substantial menu in itself. We ordered the red velvette cheese cake with a chocolate cookie base and a peanut butter icebox pie. Our little one was offered a mini cupcake by the kind staff. Both our orders were quite indulgent and we couldn't finish it at a go. However, someone with a great sweet appetite could succeed in it. We asked for the left overs to be packed for the next craving. They have some beautiful old style baking related stuff to take back too. All in all it was a sweet experience and a great place.

How can you not love this bakery? Supremely cute quaint little bakery with a beau-tiful display of lovely treats that you wouldn't normally find in a bakery in Abu Dhabi. You want to indulge in every single treat that you see and then settle for the Famous Banana Pudding with delicious vanilla wafers, bananas, and cream vanilla pudding. You will be mmmmm-ing with every bite. I have also tried the peanut butter icebox bar - looked tiny when I ordered it but so rich and can easily be shared by 3 people. The German Chocolate cake was lovely as well, rich with chocolate, coconut and nuts! Worth every calorie.

One word could sum up Magnolia "heavenly"! I was so hyped up when they opened their doors to their enchanting world of sweets in Bloomingdales, Dubai Mall. Back then, all I knew was red velvet as of every one else. Only on Galleria Mall, that I was introduced to my two newest obsessions, Banana Pudding and Banana Cream Pie. I have read about this bakery on zomato and was waiting to try something from here Seems you have to order in advance (5 hrs) and get cake of your choice. I dint know and walked in lucky to get their chocolate Choco cake which was the only one left for quick grab got it decorated The staff was friendly and I could see they had lots of cup cakes variety The cake was absolutely yummy. Sponge was not as usual soft and the cream so light and it was marvellous the combination of light Choco cream with dark coco sponge was superb This is a sure place to visit soon when I get another chance Try this and you will feel the difference

magnolia bakery is located in The galleria mall in sowwah square..quite isolated place wherein few people only goes there. they had varieties from cupcakes to cakes, taste is good and is affordable too. staff are kind and warmth and the ambiance of theor place is just like home. the slice of their cake is huge and will be enough already for 2. overall is good!

Magnolia is designed in blue in purpose of looking elegant. Kudos, they've done a good job. Their display is usually appetizing and they even have an 'only for display' section for their custome designed cupcakes. They are known for their Banana Pudding and it is quite great. The cream and banana flow well together even though I'm not a banana fan. To be fair, I'm no expert in banana pudding and Magnolia's is one of the few that I've had. Their chocolate cake is very very rich. You have to have a bottle of water on the table next to you when you start consuming it. I felt like one layer of that cake would've been enough instead of two. Those pieces in the picture are too rich for one person to consume alone. Their Key Lime Cheesecake is also very good. I enjoyed the raspberries flow with the cheese and the crust, they all flowed well. It was delicious. Bottom line: delicious desserts.

As a very frequent customer, who always takes large quantities, i want to say thank you for all the times you guys made me succeed in making colleagues, friends and especially ladies happy and i was able to put a huuuuuuuuuuggggeeeee smile on their face with simply a cheesecake from you guys or the famous banana pudding! The magic cookie bar is a piece of heaven for me, as well as the peanut butter-chocolate bar....... whenever you will call them these guys are super professional and friendly on the phone. They listen carefully and take the order in detail. you can tell them exactly how you want the packaging and agree on a time. They never let me down, The quality is beyond good and trust me, a couple of times you go there and the entire team will greet you and remember you upon arrival each time. a place to be recommended big big time! take your time, go there, order right and left, take it home and enjoy....or make people happy in getting them a cheesecake or banana pudding!

You are bound to fall in love with the place as soon as you enter it. It's a chic and pretty dessert place with some light bites to munch on. I have thrice or so and have had varied experiences. The first time I went there I had the Red Velvet cheesecake and it's definitely to die for. I think one piece is good for two people unless you want to substitute it for dinner. The cake is thick in consistency but smooth at the same time and the biscuit base made from chocolate is the best ever. I was so satisfied with the red velvet cheesecake that the next time when we went, we experimented with the chocolate cheese cake. That was quite a disappointment. We were three and it still was an effort to finish the cake. I will definitely not be ordering the chocolate cheesecake again. Recently when we went there, we decided to order the most popular dessert of the bakery and undoubtedly the most popular item there is their banana pudding. They have two huge boxes of the pudding ready to serve plus cute take away boxes. The banana pudding was delicious. It's basically cake, banana and banana cream but it's sooo good. The fact that it's so simple yet so delicious makes it even better. The cream is also so fluffy and light. For snacks, we ordered the only two vegetarian items on the menu. One was a vegetarian wrap and the other was vegetarian Fusilli pasta. The pasta was dry but in a good way. It was very rich in flavor and very different from the regular pastas. The wrap on the other hand, though different was not up to the mark. For one, it had a lot of eggplant and I am not that fond of this particular vegetable. Also, the wrap wasn't made well. At the end, it was all dry and was left with only bread and no filling. I would definitely recommend Magnolia but only for their desserts. I still have to try quite a few of their items like the marble cake brownie and the huge red velvet cake but their red velvet cheesecake is a must try!

I have heard so many of my cousins and friend raving about Magnolia's cupcakes and cakes. I am not a dessert lover but after having heard so much about Magnolia, I had to try it once. So four of us decided to share 1 slice of the red velvet cake (I know that sounds miserly, but it is a huge slice and we had already finished lunch). The service is good- in the sense that they greet you with a smile and are nice to children. You can collect your cake from the counter and your knives and forks from the cutlery table. So the taste- I was not impressed. The red velvet cake was dry and too sweet. The icing was also too sweet and lacked any particular flavor. I normally prefer the cream cheese icing with red velvet as the slight tanginess of the cream cheese balances the sweetness of the red velvet however here both were overly sweet. At 25 AED a slice I expect something better. So while it is wrong to judge a place from 1 item, the red velvet cake of Magnolia misses the mark.

4 stars! And 3 of them are for the one thing I eat at Magnolia Bakery when I go on a carb fest, the Banana Pudding! The remaining 1 star I give to the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Very mediocre! And at that price! It was dry and just blah! I'm sure I will go to this extremely popular cafe again to sample their other dishes but the Banana Pudding will always remain in my carb loving heart.

If you want good cupcakes, cakes and bars, yes this is a good place to go. A bit on the higher cost side, but considering the location it aligns with that atmosphere. I can think of several other places that I can get just as good for a bit less. They actually have some breakfast and lunch items here. The omelet made with two selections of your choice with a tiny salad and some small bread, but steep on the cost. The Salads are good as well and high in cost, bit for convenience if you are in Sowwah Square or Reem it hits the mark.
