It must be some, if not some of the best food I've had in Abu Dhabi. Fresh salads, good tasting bread with not too much sour dough (need gluten-free please). The coffee is superb. I need to still go have dinner at Tashas. But I have been impressed - I can't wait to go back! Staff is helpful and friendly. Service is good. Thanks to everyone at Tasha's for a great two foody experience this far!!

We were in the mood for evening snack and coffee...so had this amazing chocolate dome apparently their best seller but it was tooo chocolaty!!!i loved it as i love chocolate!!My husband wanted to try French toast it nyc also.only the thing I didn’t like was we had to wait for some time.
Where should I start ? I had an invitation for around 15 ladies for breakfast and I chose to have it at watermelon and thank god I did! I cannot say enough about parag and his team! Since the call to ask questions and the booking and follow up and actual day they did everything to make us happy. Parag was extremely patient and friendly and tried his very best to cater for everything I wanted, honestly they were all great and they ensured everything was perfect! The food was extremely delicious and fresh so was the coffee tea juices desert everything was so yummy ! Do try the chocolate dome and the yummy omelette! As for the seating wow the outdoors place is amazing! Thanks to the wonderful staff at waterlemon- you really make a difference.

Post work early dinner and lots of catching up at @waterlemon. Situated at Marsa bateen, the place has one of the best views in the city. The interiors being spacious and well lit.

Delicious buffalo hot wings got us ready for the meal. Followed by the Waterlemon Trio Burger (sliders), freshly prepared and a juicy delight.
The Waterlemon Chicken Carbonara was one of the best pasta we have had (and we love our pasta, so no compromises on that taste).
The Stuffed Grilled Chicken Breast was most filling with tender chicken and greens on the side. Just your healthy fix for dinner.

I enjoyed my visit to Waterlemon (yes it’s not Watermelon which is the most obvious thing we say!) We tried a lot of items as in my pictures and most of the food was pretty good. The restaurant has a view of Al Bateen marina and it’s very peaceful and not so crowded. Winters would be great to sit outside. We sat inside considering we went in the day & it’s summer.
But the experience was lovely to enjoy a relaxed Friday brunch or lunch.
Only thing I didn’t like is their Coffee - have had way better cappuccinos, theirs wasn’t fresh and bit watery.
Their desserts are as good as their food! Worth a visit.
We love the service, staff are friendly. We ordered pizza and caesar shrimp was too delicious😍🥰

First time but definitely not the last. Ordered dynamite shrimp for starter, pizza margherita, grilled shrimp (the photo) and the salmon.
All were very good and the dynamite shrimp with peanut butter sauce was the best.

The seafood, steak and the smoked salmon pizza are definitely worth a try along with the chocolate dome. The ambience is nice too plus they have a sweet playlist ;)

This is a nice place to go for relaxing in al bateen area. I tried pasta their it is nice I loved it. Their prices are in average. I think This restaurant is one of the restaueants that you would visit again.
Spending my whole day in this restaurant is not a regret at all. Starting my day with the fantastic taste coffee to amazing lunch, i love the coffee a lot, the steak is really fantastic. I tried a lot of restaurant and their steak but here in waterlemon are one of the different. The beef is so so tender and the pasta is really creamy which is caught my taste buds, and not only the food are amazing,the hospitality of the staff also take my attention they are very cooperative and helpful. The ambiance makes you feel that your in luxurious place. Thanks for this restaurant to made my day special. I will choose to coming back here every time rather than to go to expensive restaurant.

I tried the Salad bar, its quite imoressive, ingredients are fresh, nice variety, the place is well set, staff are nice and well informed. The place is recommended, one slight comment about prices, I think it needs to be a little bit less!
I have ordered grilled breast chicken stuffed with the spinach. It was very tender, light, the portion was big. I recommend it. The area is beautiful front of the bay.

After hearing amazing reviews about the coolest new dining spot in town, we were intrigued to give Waterlemon a shot. I personally love the quirky name and the location. This was our first time coming to this side of Bateen. We opted to dine indoors (thank you, dear humidity!) even though the outdoor seating had a beautiful view of the Marina.
Would consider this as a hidden gem at the Al Marsa, Bateen area around few of other food outlets. Look out for this location on Google Maps and you can easily locate it as guided. Pizza and pastas are awesome. Juices are extremely refreshing. Prices are on the higher end, but absolutely worth it. Slices of bread provided as complimentary starters.. The pizzas come in really huge sizes, 8 slices good enough for 3. Staff are attentive and friendly, with generous smiles. They also provide children with an activity sheet with colors that keeps them busy while waiting for their meals.. Outdoor seating is also available overlooking the gorgeous al Bateen wharf. Wi-Fi available at the restaurant. Does also take-aways. Absolutely recommend this outlet for family and friends looking to have a good time together. After viewing the ratings on zomato I decided to give watermelon a try.I ordered their sliders which were very flavorful each burger has a different taste where as the meatball and halloumi linguini was delicious as well.Pictures are speaking for themselves.
Overall the food, service and ambiance was great.

We wanted to enjoy some light lunch with nice ambience. Water lemon was a new one for us and we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has a nice seating area outside but it was too warm. The staff very nicely suggested that they could switch on the cooler for us if we wanted to sit outside while the food arrived. The food did take some time to arrive, however we had a nice bread basket with butter on the table and it had some very nice cinnamon flavored bread. We ordered the stuffed chicken breast and the grilled jumbo prawns. The food looked great when it arrived and was delicious. The sides were as well cooked as the mains and portions were generous. There was plenty of sauce though both the chicken and prawns were succulent. Very happy with our new discovery and definitely recommend it.

This place is only 3 minutes away from my home and I didn’t even know it exist only one month ago when I went to sit with my friends and I said I have to have my cheatday in the capital soon .

went out with a group of friends and we had dinner...we were all impressed with the portion and quality of the dishes served. we got different pizzas and salads and slider...loved them all! definitely will go again.
This was a fluke choice based on the Entertainer voucher. We had never been to this part of town so that was an added plus.
Boy, were we surprised! We sat outside and the weather was lovely to sit by the side of the marina. The service was impeccable.
The food although on the dearer side, was superb with a large enough portion that we couldn't finish all of it and had to do a take-away in the end. And the Entertainer voucher helped of course.
For starters we had Nachos and Dynamite Fries. Both were super but the Fires could have done with more dynamite (Jalepenos).
For mains, my wife, being Vegetarian chose a Portobello Burger which was excellent according to her.
The kids had Chicken and Beef burgers and were pleased with them and for myself, I had Beef Tenderloin steak.
All in all a great evening out with excellent food. Will definitely be going back again.

I went to this restaurant and it was a great experience, the restaurant is great, weather is awesome, staff are friendly and i ordered the following:
- nachos: i got this black chip nachos with lots of cheese and 3 extra dipping on the side, this was great no doubt.
- chicken carbonara: amazing dish, almost licked the plate for the taste.
- 3 milk cake: it was a little hard, it needed to stay in the milk for a while to soften up.
Overall experience was amazing and successful.

It's one of the best places i went too in bateen area, and the food is amazing there ! The steak is well cooked and it's cooked in the exact same way you order. The staff are friendly, and everything is perfect. The best thing i recommend is the tomato soup they have. Incredible !
i went to waterlemon for a quick take away coffee and it was good but not the greatest . the service was great and my friend really enjoyed the food there. i am tempted to try the food next time i’m visiting!!

•Oriental breakfast: was soooo tasty, very big portion, we were two and we felt full. Everything in it was so delicious and fresh, highly recommended.
•Black coffee and flat white: the coffees were nice plus the cake with it that was so fluffy and tasty.
And they served variety of breads in a basket, and there was brown bread which was so yummy and has a unique taste.
Overall, very satisfying experience, reasonable prices and excellent service.

Quite a decent place in a good location. Sitting outside with the marina view gives it a good vibe when you come for lunch for an early dinner.
My wife and I came to try their famous truffle pizza with portbello mushrooms and cheese. Their crust is made with a variety of vegetables and gives it a nice black colour, which is quite unique. It tastes very cheesy with the thin crust but I really liked it.
Their dynamite fries are average. I've had better elsewhere. They should load it up with more toppings.
I also had their beef tenderloin and piquillos. The steak was asked to be cooked rare but it came out medium rare. But it was a tender piece of meat which made it still quite good. It comes with mashed potatoes and some pumpkin slices on the side.
The piquillos were an appetizer where crab meat with some fresh coleslaw is stuffed inside a sweet pepper. Refreshing and light. Great for an app and to share with others.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal here. :)

Then here's Waterlemon Cafe and Restaurant (I read it as a "watermelon" couple of times before noticing it) inviting me for an exclusive gourmet experience. I am quite hesitant about it though. First of all, It's my first time to receive a media invitation. Secondly, I might not fit for the event. Lastly, I am planning to lose weight, remember?
V.cool menu, ambience and staff! Special thanks to Ms. Jeannette and Mr. Chef for the lovely customized pancakes. What a great way to celebrate my birthday yesterday! Another hidden gem tucked in Al Marsa, Bateen. The place was cozy, elegant and stylish and I like the fact that it is not crowded, but the it is packed at night according to the staff and I don't wonder why. Now, let me share to you what we ordered. First, Buffalo cheese caprese which was a cold sandwich served on a ciabatta with grilled eggplant, avocado mouse, tomato and pesto, each of the components complimented each other and was like a symphony in our palettes. Spinach Ravioli in tomato sauce, straightforward dish and not a lot of fuss, I think it is made in-house. Another is Trio burger/ 3 sliders and you have to option to make a variation of chicken, beef or lamb meat, we choose an all-beef patty, it was very juicy, simple seasoning of salt and pepper which I liked, it was also presented nicely on a board with some fries on the side. Lastly, my favorite, Marguaritta Pizza, the usual tomato sauce, fresh mozarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, basil and an addition of rocket leaves, we are surprise with how big it was, probably good for 3-4 persons if you have any other order. Thin crust, just enough ingredients on top, not too overwhelming but satisfying. Plus points for Ms. Claudine and Manager Roy, for being so hospitable and accommodating, I really enjoyed our late lunch because everyone was so nice. Lastly, they complimented us with a dome cake which was melted by hot chocolate on top and underneath it was a brownie and vanilla ice cream, it was warm, moist, flaky crust perfect for the ice cream. All in all, great restaurant and awesome staff, I'm coming back for sure!

Waterlemon is located in the Al Bateen area among an array of restaurants and cafes. I found this location to be quite calm, relaxing and could feel the water breeze. The terrace had ample seating and could fit dozens of tables, however, there is no view of the water from here.

Loving this new stretch of restaurants in bateen area. Its beautifully decorated and very nice for families with children. The food is excellent. We tried the pizza and pasta carbonara and both were really good. But our favorites were the salmon with mughrabiye and the stuffed

I had a very good experience last evening in this restaurant. I went with a couple of friends there to have dinner. We did enjoy the atmosphere. They have a nice outdoor siting .The staff were so quiet, friendly and helpful. You dont feel that they are waiting you to leave. They deal in a very polite and kind way which can make you comfortable. The food was good. We ordered margarita pizza and trio burger. The pizza was delicious. I didnt like the burger alot as I didnt know how to hold it. The fries was GREAT. I highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely visit it again.
Second visit to this place recently and both times have been brilliant. Today we had the main course (previously breakfast). Was lovely to be sat outside as the winter temperatures treat us well. Service was excellent. The blueberry lemonade was delicious to wash down the extremely tasty and fresh trio burgers.

Making an entrance in almost every Restaurants Menu, is the famous Dynamite Shrimps and Rating the perfect one can a crucial. However, what ticks the boxes for me are Shrimps fried golden brown with the Harissa sauce kept on the side allowing the Shrimps to stay perfectly crispy and crunchy - whilst being in control of the amount of sauce one would like.
Achievement unlocked waterlemon I got tender and juicy shrimps with a finger licking sauce I could not get enough of, I loved it!
Fun Note about Waterlemon:
Most dishes be it a Starter or a Main are served with a generous amount of greens, which I believe makes the dish look and taste fresh!
My something new and exciting for today are these piquillo peppers stuffed with crab, onions, tomatoes and coriander, needless to say they looked fantastic and very appetizing. I enjoyed the stuffing itself, intense flavors from the crab meat and the coriander and adding to it was the sweetness from those Piquillo peppers.Now this dish is served cold and has an accrued taste that may not suit everyone's palette, if you enjoy peppers and seafood it's a must try!
Most of you'll are familiar with Black ink being typically squid ink but here at waterlemon the chefs have given this classic a twist making the dough out of "roasted vegetables" yup, their taking healthy to a whole new level. Its your regular pizza toppings just with a healthier option dough (which you can ask for) on all pizza's available on the Menu. I ordered myself the Meat Pizza and something I enjoyed was the freshness of the ingredients on it.
Down side: The black dough was a little tough and the crust itself was too charred for my liking, I might just stick to the good ol' regular pizza dough next time!
What got me SO excited was the smell of that beamaise sauce that came along with my fine cut piece of meat, it was quiet literally "The BEST sauce" I had ever eaten with Steak. Thick, creamy and rich in butter this sauce along with medium done tender Steak was a maincourse I enjoyed to the fullest and served with a generous helping of fries, grilled pumpkin (adding sweetness to this dish) and tomato Provençal (baked tomato stuffed with cheese topped with herbed dough) now if you like tomatoes like me, this is absolutely delicious!
I love spinach and I love ricotta cheese so a stuffing with these two can only make me very happy. Chicken Breast is easily overcooked so I was pleasantly surprised to get one PERFECTLY grilled with juices oozing out as I cut into it. A soft and tender piece with that creamy stuffing topped with a rich pistachio sauce. OH SO YUM served with steamed greens, keeping it healthy and peppered mash potato.
The bar has been set and it's set pretty high with this knockout dessert. Hot Chocolate poured over a White Chocolate ball/dome coated over a layer of Chocolate brownie topped with ice cream. I mean COME ON' this is it, this is absolutely it.
I was sincerely impressed with the white chocolate dome melting gracefully over and around the ice cream which remained in perfect shape and cold as ever with the melted hot chocolate around it. Best part the dark chocolate brownie, loved it and the ice cream on top gave it a bitter sweet balance. Kudos for a dessert well done!

For starters, I choose Parmesan Buffalo Wings just because I love buffalo wings but nothing seems special. I will still compare it to the ones in Buffalo Wings.
I paired it with Honey Cheese Goat Salad, which is the bomb! I can highly recommend this one. I’m not really into cheese, but this time I really do appreciate it.
We ordered Beef Tenderloin and they serve it bit raw which is quite disappointing but they compensate for it by changing the steak into butterfly one (open slice) so it will be at least medium well. Nothings special with fries nor mashed potato.
I’ve been looking forward to dessert and we’ve ordered chocolate fondant. It’s a mix of hot and cold plus cloud like, cotton candy like Arabic sweet. I forgot the name.
Orange juice and lemonade is fresh and yummy.
Atmosphere is nice, we’ve been enjoying and sitting there for few hours plus the staffs are attentive. Oh, we got free coffee as well. I love my café mocha but Turkish coffee is just okay.

Went for lunch 2 months ago and were very satisfied with everything. The food was good, the staff pleasant - all this in nice atmosphere. The place certainly met our expectations. Well done to Waterlemon.
We tried waterlemon on a sunny afternoon during eid holiday. They had a brunch promotion going with soup, salad, appetiazer, main course and sweets. Everything was delicious!! We ate a lot! The location is perfect, I am sure it will be more beautiful after september when you are able to eat out.
The restaurant has an awesome design and dining atmosphere that makes me fell sophisticated. Not your everyday cafe. The coffee is extraordinary and the desserts are out of this world specially the brioche french toast served with vanilla ice cream. Also tried the chocolate dome and it's an utter deliciousness

Great and fast service. Delicious pancakes stuffed with strawberries and pineapple topped with chocolate sauce, kinder and pistachio. A fine dining experience, very much recommended.
My experience with Waterlemon was witb dessert. We were a group of seven people and we had different types of desserts ranging from ice cream, Crepe, to choclate dome and cheesecake.
The food was tasty, well prepared, and nicely presented. The staff were polite, and friendly. Despite my dish was late, and i expressed my disappointment as the restaurant is not busy , the chief offered us two more dishes on the house which is a nice gesture.

The best part about this food lane is the view. I had heard a lot about the KitKat Brownie and that's why I had gone to the restaurant. To our surprise the open upto 1:30 am ( Ramadan timings) and the last order was at 1 am. The staff was really friendly and told us about their best sellers from the menu to choose.
We had also tried the Hot buffalo wings which was extremely saucy according to me and my friend.
The brownie could have been better if they had used cold KitKat bars instead for a crunchy feel 😜 (just a suggestion)
Overall the ambiance of the place was good. I don't know if its cause of the time at which I had gone (12:30 am). The place was really empty (as in the picture).
Will need to go once again to try out more dishes in the menu. ✌🏽
I went there with my friends as walk-ins. . We had no plans to eat there .. amazingly the food was nice and the dessert was even better .. I would definitely recommend the pasta and the chocolate fondant. . The staff are very friendly and attentive. . They brought us portable chargers with even asking .. loved the gesture ..
The more I am exploring Abudhabi the more I am realising that there are many places that yet to fall in my eyes, one of such last week food exploration was in ‘WATERLEMON’ located at Al-Batten, Abudhabi. Don’t get confused with the name its ‘WATERLEMON’ and not ‘WATERMELON’ 😉
Food was good, presentation is good, its nice place.. it has nice views.. They have specialty called Black Pizza, its a must try.. Marsa is new place in Abu Dhabi and it has nice ambiance..
Black Pepperoni : Pizza with a charcoal black base, good amount of pepperonis added. Felt quite light after having it & good healthy option.
Giant Vol-Au-Vent Chicken - Pastry vol-au-vent stuffed with creamy grilled chicken & pesto sauce. This was the best dish for me. Good portion and very good taste.
For desserts we tried Brownies Kit-Kat. Looks pretty good but was very underwhelming. I felt the Kit Kat inside it was withered, below average for me.
Very nice and tasty. The salad bar is amazing and diversify. It is one of the best eco-friendly and authentic restaurant in Abu Dhabi. Amazing food and cool atmosphere.
Last week we visited a modern venue appealing to families and the young alike, serving dishes in sleek tableware. The name Waterlemon, a play on the word (yes, I confess of enunciating it as watermelon) is a true representative of the fresh and the aqueous atmosphere of as pure and reviving as water, as quenching and zesty as a lemon. Waterlemon restaurant and caFe is considered as International Cuisine. They have a variety of breakfast items, in the menu overall you may also find Asian, French & Lebanese variety. In diners, they welcome a huge mix ranging from locals to Europeans living in outskirts.

Waterlemon is a nature inspired, eco-friendly restaurant offering International cuisines located in Al Batten, where you find array of restaurants in waterfront promenade overlooking Etihad Tower.
Having indoor and outdoor dining facilities we preferred to sit inside near the greenery wall. The restaurant has large spacing with modernistic interiors and golden lights is perfect for a candle night dinner 😉 .Greenery wall, an open salad counter for health conscious friends and an open kitchen is the look and feel of Waterlemon.
We were served by a lovely hostess (forgot her name), she was very friendly and was frequently checking our comfort level. One thing I like here was, after each course they were changing plates without our request.
Now lets get back to food.
We started with delicious Dynamite Shrimp (Aed 46), medium spicy prawns cooked to perfection with decent number of shrimps in bowl served with peanut butter dip.
Marasi Al Bateen is now open for business and the new waterfront promenade has seemingly appeared from out of nowhere. Located in one of Abu Dhabi’s oldest neighbourhoods, this new marina is set against a backdrop of the iconic Etihad Towers, while in the foreground gleaming white yachts bob between wooden boardwalks.

Honestly I tried them today with a group of friends, service was excellent, their food quality amazing, and their location is great. Healthy food that tastes great. I'd recommend everyone to try the black dough pepperoni pizza.
The best place in Abu Dhabi. Perfect service and very tasty food! Salad bar option is great but a little pricey. Bunch of vegetarian options are also available and taste good
