A great place for art lover.

Absolutely loved everything about this place, from the innovative rustic decor to the food and great friendly service - it was all worth it. Each and every item used to decorate the place had such a cute feel to it, and the food was extremely tasty with good portions. We spent at least 2 hours in the cafe, took so many pictures of everything around. Definitely worth multiple visits, going there again soon :)

Absolutely LOVED the decor but had to wait ages for the food. When it did come the order came one at a time - first the spaghetti, after 15 mins the crepe (which should have been easier than the spaghetti and then the Regag!! We were three hungry people who didn't get their meal for an hour!! So though the decor is lovely the fact that it is a cafe that doesn't have the best service makes it very mediocre!

It is a good place if you ban smoking indoors. You should care more about children, pregnant women and allergic people. As far as I know, according to UAE law it is forbidden to smoke indoors so I really do not know why you are allowing it!

I've heard a lot about this place, and since I was in AD for a meeting, I decided to check it out. Perfect location with plenty of free parking around. Once you enter, you will go through halls of artwork, and paintings. Very vibrant decoration, and simple seating areas. I was greeted by a friendly staff who after taking my orders, brought me a complimentary basket of fresh garlic bread. I first got the Dynamite Shrimps - tempura shrimps mixed with dynamite sauce served with mixed green salad; then the Norwegian Salmon - Grilled Norwegian salmon served with brown Japanese rice with pineapple, coconut, sautéd asparagus, broccoli, and Thai curry sauce. Food was tasty, well cooked, and with good portion. Recommended if you are in the area.

The dressing on the salad is amazing also the way they cooked the chicken was grear but the fried bread is pointless, it made the salad lose its freshness. The dynamite shrimp was a disaster. Oil tastes weird and they were over cooked and tasteless.

This is really hidden gem in Abu Dhabi. Loved the place. So cozy and really good place to hang out with friends. I loved the ambience and decor. We got in for breakfast. We ordered for halloumi fries. It was really good, not oily and perfect. Next we had the kale chicken salad, which was really good as well. We also had the big breakfast (omelet) -a yum heavy breakfast and also the mr & mrs Benedict. The poached eggs were really good and yum. Truly loved it. For the drinks, we had the Picasso shake( passion fruit and mango) -yum and watermelon juice. Overall, had a really good time and the dishes tasted really good.

Got to spend time in this beautiful café two weeks back. The ambience gives you a very creative space vibe. They've upcycled the interior furnishings and I found that to be very eco friendly. Apparently they have an option to design a plate and can be hung up on their walls (this is a paid option though) They do have an outdoor seating area as well as an indoor one. We chose to sit inside as it's hot / humid weather. They also have a separate place for smokers. And I personally think the only thing that is missing in a Cafe like this is shisha. So me and my friends basically came for desserts so we ordered: - Chocolate Brownie Sundae - this was so indulgent, so gooey and super chocolaty.. This is a must try. - Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream - this seemed like a store bought frozen lava cake that was microwaved, didn't really enjoy this. The customer service was a little delayed probably because they had a lot of people visiting that day. This is definitely a place I'll come back to.

This place is so cute with all these little decorative plates all around the restaurant with a lot of positive quotes written on it. Staff is nice and friendly. They have seating area outside too. We had a passion fruit mojito and mango Mojito which was quite refreshing.

Art house cafe is one of the rare finds in Abu Dhabi. I really like the vibrant ambience that instantly lits your mood. The cafe has refurbished furniture which is pretty cool and the entire space is filled with pretty colourful paintings. The place is huge and bright and the staff are quite attentive. We ordered Shakshuka, chicken wings in buffalo sauce and a Chocolate sundae. We tried Shakshuka for the first time. It is a popular middle eastern dish made with eggs. You can choose your eggs to be runny/fully cooked. Shakshuka was served with toast and it was tasty although I felt it was less spicy for my liking and buffalo wings were well cooked and served with a portion of fries. We finished our meal with Chocolate sundae and it was lipsmackingly good. Prices were slightly on a higher side. Overall, a pretty cafe to visit on weekends. Food: 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Cost: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5

I'd heard about this place and pleased to see that it holds true to it's reputation. Its incredibly refreshing - being in a place full of upcycled furniture, various forms of art, lovely greenery. There aren't all that many places that can boast about this, in Abu Dhabi. On top of that, their food portions are large and they have delightful desserts. The wings are out of this world delicious, finger-looking good :)

This was my third time to this lovely cafe but first time for a late breakfast. Breakfast was good, nothing extraordinary but a special mention for their Manager who accommodated our Breakfast Request post breakfast time.I think their desserts are the highlights. Loved it.This place should work big time on Customer Service. Except the Manager present that day,NO was the answer we received from almost all the servers for any request. Cherry on frustration cake was when My Zomato Gold was not honored stating it is not applicable during Eid Holidays (well,Eid Holidays no offer was just for 10th and 11th August as per the notification received from Zomato and I was there on the 12th)but because of Zomato and the restaurants miscommunication I suffered as a customer. Overall a nice place to chill out!

Even in this summer, the place is cool, with the sound of birds chriping and an extremely beautifully done place. 10* for the ambience. Ordered Cheese and Scarambled egg crepes along with Chocolate sundae. The crepe was amazing. very well done and well cooked just as I instructed. A healthy good breakfast for one at 30dhs. One of the best ambience for a cafe. A must visit. As the name speaks Art House Cafe is full of art works with fine dining. Their art hall displays some of the best exhibits we've seen. Food was delicious and service was amazing. A place where you can spent time with your loved once cause everyone will absolutely love it there. Cost is a little high for certain dishes but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend.

As the name of the establishment implies-Art House , the place has a very distinct characteristic which separates from other cafes. It has an enormous paintings hang on the wall which makes the place amusing. The staff are polite and are glad to take our photos. The Sliders:beef,chicken, shrimps are tasteful. My Oreo milk shake has just enough amount of sweetness. Oh and this is my second time, still the cafe has something more to offer!

Art House Cafe is the most unique cafe/restaurant I have ever tried. The place is very cozy and romantic. I find it peaceful and relaxing especially at night. Aside from their good selections of food and drinks, the customer can also enjoy plate painting for only 15 AED! One of the most beautiful cafes in town! Loved the entire ambiance and vibe of the place. Artistic and close to nature. Kudos to the person behind this creative splendor! Food is equally up to the mark! We did breakfast here. We ordered Eggs benedict. It was really awesome. The chicken sandwich was ok. A little bland for my taste but no complains! And scrambled eggs with veggies and hash browns were super! The kids meal was also yum says the kids. We got them mac n cheese and yes it was indeed yum! Kids meal comes with fresh orange of carrot juice. Perhaps the portion of the kids meal could be a wee bit more! All in all, a beautiful place to spend some quality time with friends and family. My first visit here was truly worth the wait. I think most of the good things about this place has already been said or written, but let me just start by saying that the rumors are true. This place truly is a hidden gem. I love that they have the organic/boho/artsy feel and they seemed to have used recycled materials for the furniture. They also offer discounts if you arrive by bike : awesome! I love green oriented places. The service was very swift, the waitstaff were warm and accommodating which are a huge plus on my book. The food was great. I had the Teriyaki Salmon with quinoa while my husband had the Philly Cheese steak wrap. We both thought our orders were yummy. We already made plans to bring the rest of our family here for another visit. Excited to try their dessert options.

I stumbled upon this place and I must say it’s a find. Lovely interiors with painted brick walls on one side, and painted plates on the other. The furniture is also very unique & inviting. It’s just as the name suggests, Arty! We sat outdoors and enjoyed the weather and place. The food & beverages were good too. In drinks, we had the Green Apple cooler, Oreo Milkshake - yummy and super heavy. For food, we tried the Red Chicken Burger and Chicken Involuntini, all really well done.

This is an awesome spot to relax and have a bite to eat. It’s very spacious as it has many seating areas in and out. It’s connected to the art gallery which this tome didn’t have time to visit but will plan it next time. We ordered the Cesar’s salad 2 sliders and the strawberry pina colada. The salad was very good with lots of chicken, the colada very refreshing and the sliders we enjoyed the chicken and beef but not to crazy about the shrimp. Definitely will visit again.

Art House Café is my favourite spot in Abu Dhabi. The ambiance is vibrant and lively and the personal painted plates can cheer up any dull day. Their coffee is great, and I am mildly obsessed with their Alfredo Pasta! The service from all the staff is always inviting, friendly and full of smiles. A special mention to Precious who is the nicest person I’ve ever met, she’s so helpful and knows all the dishes. She is the reason I will also come back!!

My favorite part is that there are 2 art galleries attached to it so it's perfect for date night. It's a beautiful cafe with a very cozy atmosphere. You can choose to stay indoor where it's more private or outdoor to enjoy the winter winds. Either way, you'll enjoy the art all over the cafe- beautiful hand painted plates and bricks, and quirky furniture among others. Pizza is handmade fresh every order and the serving sizes are quite generous. We got the nachos, shrimp dynamites and sweet potato fries which were delightful. The fruit-based drinks were all fresh and well-loved. Even though we were situated in the innermost part of the cafe, the staff were very attentive to all our needs.

Amazing place. I was here for dinner with family. We ordered the grilled chicken pesto, beef tenderloin, nuggets for kids with fresh orange juice & Shirley temple as drink. Kids got to paint on a plate with acrylic paints. There’s lot of art around with the modern etihad art gallery which’s worth taking a stroll. It’s opposite al-Bateen mall & there’s installation of running horses outside the cafe. Those arriving by bicycle & reading books can avail 10% discount as mentioned on the display outside.

Nice place to have breakfast and chill , I like their karka tea and the way it’s served . It’s one of the few places that makes a good karka even though the place give you international feels . The food menu has a lot varieties from traditional to international cousin . The decor is nice and unique but sometimes it’s not comfy to sit in these artistic chairs . I love how they showcase the pictures and art of the walls . The place is encouraging to read or to come by riding your bike . My suggestion is to have separate area for smokers .

This place was found when we really were starving for a “lets have breakfast out”. After a long haunt on Zomato, we discovered this hidden gem between Al bateen buildings. First of all, the way the restaurant looks from outside just reminds me of our childhood big garden gate next to our house. This colorful eatery is connected to Etihad Modern Art Gallery. The variety of food on the menu makes you want to visit it anytime. We ordered “Mr. & Mrs. Benedict” and it was served perfectly as we ordered it. The shakshoka is another story, I haven’t seen a shakshoka served the way this place do it. It’s indescribable you have to see it yourself. Moreover, we ended our breakfast with a flat white for the lady and a turkish for me. The value for what we ate is just fine.

the place was beautiful and artistic. however, as much as the other breakfast meals were lovely, the scrambled egg was too garlic-y and spicy. also we painted plates of our own that the staff informed us may never be hung - there should be a better system to this (remove old plates and replace with the new) otherwise this feature of the cafe is useless! the art in the museum was also very pleasant to look at.

This place is definitely a must visit for its ambience. It’s a ‘one of its kind’ cafe in Abu Dhabi, with great art pieces for its interior. You can also create your own art piece for just 15 AED. So if your looking out for a relaxing, time off from work kinda place this place works well for its ambience. However with regard to serving its main purpose which is the food, it’s simply average. I ordered the Chocolate brownie sundae that’s quite famous, but it definitely seems overrated. The brownie was so hard, with an ice cream topping that seems to be off the shelf of any market. Nothing special at all, besides being a struggle to even get half through it. The Caramel cheesecake was not so bad. It was enjoyable. The pizzas were also a disappointment.They were burnt around the edges, and the veggies were overcooked. Definitely not a pleasing experience with the food. The only reason I was happy about the place was for its artistic ambience and I wouldn’t definitely be going back there.

Every corner in this cafe is artistically designed out of recycled materials. Teapots for colorful lights,antique singer sewing machines for tables, barrels for seating and spoons for antique drawer handles.Handmade solar lights and trees covered with left over fabric add to the all over art work in this cafe. The minute you reach the entrance there’s a sign you get 10% if you arrive on a bikemassive wall covered with plates from all over the world. and huge art work like the heads of two horses made of crushed cans.The food is yummy, coffee is great decent prices. You can enjoy your meal while coloring a plate for AED 15 that will be hung on the walls of this cafe along with hundreds of others that represent the multicultural and diversity of Abu Dhabi expats. Save at least another half an hour to explore the amazing attached gallery.

If you want instagrammable pictures while having a coffee, go to this cafe. Interiors are so artistically unique. Plus sustainable as they are using recycled materials for their furniture. Artworks are also fun to look at, although i'm not really and art-loving or even having a little bit of passion about art. Food was amazing, been here 4 times and still want it again.

A quiet, cute little gem of a place hidden away in Al Bateen. Yes, literally hidden away from the roads behind trees but beautiful and serene. A breakfast destination with friends. Loads of chatter and good food too! The Mr&Mrs benedict and the steak tortillas were good but have to admit the lotus sundae stole the show! Good quantity and so filling i didnt eat for the rest of the day! Highly recommend!

Went to this place for lunch. The ambience and vibe of the place is good and the staff is polite. The service was prompt. I ordered avocado shake which was really yummy but can put you off your calorie count 😊. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant being on Zomato gold was an added advantage. The scrambled eggs I ordered tasted fine but not the best I have come across.

This is one un discovered cafe of Abu Dhabi. Not many people are aware of this cafe and that comes as a surprise to me. It is a beautiful cafe with etihad modern gallery. I recommend trying out the dynamite shrimps, its one of their specialities mixed with special herbs in it. We also tried their sliders, 3 different types of burgers and I loved all of them. The combination of sliders along with their flat white coffee was just too good. Honestly there is nothing I can complain about the cafe as it was just too perfect with great ambience. Really cool place. Nice food, coffee, ambience, and prices are not that bad as well. Goes against the grain of the typical coffee shop in the island. Breaks the monotony of those big-brand cafes. The concept is a breathe of fresh air. Can we all agree that this is a certified hipster joint in Abu Dhabi? I suggest you go visit the galleries as well when you're here (open until 5 PM, I believe. Just check with the café staff.) ** Or when you're visiting in the evening, use the loo and you can have a quick preview of the month's exhibit.** It also lives up to its name by allowing its customers to make art. Painting on plates for a relatively affordable price sounds fun and cathartic. (Look out for my pathetic attempt at Van Gogh's "A Starry Night" on crack. I hope they already displayed it on their wall. ;)) If you want a quiet place that's not overrated, pay them a visit. You'll love this place. ;) P.S. - If you cycled going there, inform the staff and they can give you a 20% discount on your final bill. (I hope they can give a 50 % discount for customers who come in on a unicycle) P.P.S. - There are areas for non-smokers and smokers, both fully-airconditioned for when Abu Dhabi feels like the crotch of he-who-must-not-be-named.

Nothing fancy, yet not boring. Come on one of their spoken poetry nights, and that would really be something. I find the food a bit pricey for the quantity though. Had dinner at this cool and chill cafe, a true hidden gem. We ordered beef tenderloin, which is cooked as we wanted (medium well 👌🏻) and the bbq sauce is also lit. And had the choco lava cake which is good, but you have to pay separate for the vanilla ice cream. It’s a nice place indeed. Ps: Please do restock your lanterns, I want to buy 😭 more like a need 😂

This place is a piece of art and has beautiful and creative interior. It’s a good place to get your kids along as they have a place where children can show their painting skills. It’s mostly crowded in the evenings so I choose to visit for mostly breakfast. It has a good selection of homemade breakfast. I mostly don’t recommend their drinks especially their mojitos. Also for people who don’t like smoke inside dinning will not be a good idea. Overall it’s a nice and cozy place to catch up with a group of friends especially in winters.

So we decided to visit this hidden gem. Truly a hidden “gem”. Its a dreamy place which welcomes you with a kind of warmth like no other. Surrounded by greenery on the outside and uniquely quirky on the inside. The food is something which lives up to the amazingness of the ambience. Its an awesome relaxing experience which is not hard on the pockets too! We tried their Mr & Mrs Benedict and Sliders. The Mr and Mrs Benedict was yummy and very flavourful. In sliders, the shrimp one was the best. Beef is good too though chicken could have been better. A must visit.

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a long time, finally today we were able to check it out. What can I say, it was love at first sight. Not only the food were delish - we tried their barbeque chicken wings, goat cheese and beetroot salad, margherita pizza and their drinks - piñacolada and passionfruit mojito, the artworks and interior are also amazing. The serving staff are nice. You can also view their Art Gallery which we really enjoyed aside from relaxing and eating. We will definitely go back and stay longer, with a book and a bike ride.

We were trying to look for a unique place to have a coffee after our light dinner and then this cafe came up in google search with outstanding reviews. And it didn't dissappoint us a bit! We are really happy to experience their hospitality and of course their coffee and dessert! The interior design of the place is all instagram-friendly. We ordered cafe latte, cappucino, lotus sundae and their strawberry cheesecake! You can also try their brick painting if your into arts for only 15aed. Our server Precious is really hospitable and always smiling. We will definitely come back to try other than desserts. This cafe is a real hidden gem in Abu Dhabi.

I love this restaurant the decor and the food overall was just perfect! I ordered the meat skewers with purple potatoes which was really good and a big portion enough for two people. My brother ordered the beef burger which was juicy and delicious. I also ordered the pina colada which came in a pineapple! Was cold and refreshing! I also ordered the calamari for appetizers which was good! The service was good and the waiters were friendly and cooperative. The food has great money value, i recommend to try the place or even their dubai branch!

A hidden gem in Abu Dhabi. I had the most delicious breakfast here. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection (we had scrambled eggs with truffles, shakshouka and zaatar croissants). The coffee was also fantastic, freshly brewed. Service was friendly and attentive. Only reason why this isn’t a 5/5 is their seating isn’t that comfortable. Its mostly benches and its a bit hard to eat sitting on the benches as the space to the table is far and you can’t adjust it. I suggest they get some couches and pillows for part of their cafe. I am definitely going back though as the food was delicious!

Been looking for a place to read my books and at last, I found the perfect place. The restaurant is giving 10 % percent discount on orders if you will bring your book and read it in the restaurant. In case you arrive using a bicycle, they will give 25% discount. To be honest, I haven't read my book there yet as I just observed the place and checked how cosy it is. The ambience is so good especially in the non-smoking area. The smoking area's ambience is also good but you have to go there during the morning or afternoon since there are still quite a few smoking customers. ✔Ambience ✔Friendly Service / Fast Service ✔Giving you recommendations on what to order ✔Attentiveness of the staff✔Hands on Restaurant Manager - I told one of the staff that the chicken wings is quite salty for my taste; I wasn't complaining though :) but they gave me a free salted caramel. It was so delectable, not too sweet. (I should've told them it is sweet so they'd give me a free iced tea refill hehe)✔Tried Peace and Strawberry drink and it is nice. ✔Perfect place to hang out to with friends or alone. ✔ I love this place. Such a warm place to be in. Nice cozy cafe. The interior decoration is unique and quirky. The staff, ambience and most of the food very good. The only downside and a very big one was (see attached picture), we ordered a kids burger and we got a burnt burger. Really surprised that the kitchen staff would send a burnt burger out of the kitchen and for a kid. The team leader replaced the burger as soon as I bought it to her attention and did not charge us for the dish. They even offered my son a free desert as he was really hungry and had to wait for his burger to be cooked again.

It’s been a while since my last visit in Art House Cafe and i was surprised with a lot of things new in this place. The menu mock up with new items in it, the cutlerys the and even the new paper table mat. This is one of the coziest place for a coffee with friends or even for a dining experience. The staff are friendly and approachable. i tried their oreo milkshake and it was good with right amount of sweetness. The buffalo wings that comes with 8 pcs of onion rings are crispy and the sauce was perfect. I couldnt say anything bad about the food. Food (4.5/5) Service (4/5) Ambiance (5/5)

A hidden gem! Art of Recycling with Taste! This place is one of our random pick of cafés to try out in Abu Dhabi, and I'm glad that it didn't disappoint us! As a whole, it was a good dining experience from the service, ambiance, theme, and the menu! I ordered beef skewers which was not as flavorful, but it had some surprising taste which makes it (overall) above average. We got complimentary garlic bread which tasted fresh, soft with a good crisp! The café's environment-friendly interior with interesting recycling components blended well with the art gallery! It's a cozy place to be in the summer...The staff are well-trained to be attentive and friendly which made the whole dining experience amazing! I didn't have much issues about the serving time for our main course until I had to wait for more than 15mins for my dessert to come. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for that long because of the parking that was going to be due. We had molten lava cake which wasn't worth the wait! The cake wasn't as rich as the ones I had somewhere else, and the lava/chocolate syrup didnt flow like it should.. I would still like to visit it again. Recommended the place to some people already! It is a must see, must visit, must experience kind of place! standard: Instagrammable ;)

This place certainly earns its status as a hidden gem. Appearing as just an inconspicuous archway in the middle of an ordinary alleyway, stepping through the doors instantly reveals the cafe to be an art enthusiast's humble homage to modern art, sculpture and canvas paintings with an emphasis on environment-friendly and organic lifestyle evident in their decor and menu. Service was very friendly and we were guided through the variety of food and customer favorites by a lovely hostess. Food was interestingly presented (we had the chicken involintini and the bbq skewers), but the taste, though above average, was not a huge standout. For dessert, we had the molten chocolate lava cake which, unfortunately, was slightly disappointing- the brownie was dry and not as rich as you would find in other establishments. We were encouraged to roam and explore the gallery while we waited for our food and I admit that afforded us some great snaps around the place. However, though I am sure this place will remain a huge hit with hipsters and millenials looking to enjoy a coffee break amidst a unique ambiance, I would like to suggest the management advertise or create a focus on activities in the cafe. There is ample room that can be allocated for folks to sit down and paint while others observe or join in the fun. Even more so, this place could be perfect if equipped with say a chess/backgammon table, a bookshelf or, dare I say, a guitar for like-minded youngsters to create corners within the establishments to commune and hang out. -Went here with my wife Shaun

My friend and I decided to meet over coffee but when we got there we decided to grab something to bite too. We ordered the grilled baby chicken and the truffle Alfredo. I must say that pasta was absolutely delicious. We could not seem to put the fork down and try the chicken. Just so good! The grilled baby chicken on the other hand was slightly bland. I wish it tasted as good as good as it looked. Oh well. I'd definitely go back to try the other dishes tho.

A pleasant indoor/ outdoor seating, and a trendy furnishing area. I like how the menu has expanded its options to a wider range, and how fresh the display of desserts looks - try the cheesecake choices.

The place is unique with a cosy feel. On walkin through the gate it feels like havin taken a step into a cafe set in a quaint little Parisian village. The decor, indoor and outdoor seating areas give it a rustic look.They have recently renovated the place with additional items on their menu. We only went for the desserts and had the zomato gold doscount which made it totally worth the price. They did take quite long to serve (about 25 minutes from the time of order) but the desserts were just too decadent to complaint. Our hostess Madeline was excellent and always spoke with a smile and made us feel comfortable. Pricing is a little on the higher side but since we had the one plus one it worked out excellent! i ordered Sakshouka which was wrongly described in Menu that it comes with Rocca Salad but it doesnt come along. Also i asked the staff if they play music in the restaurant on which she replied no they dont but then after 10 mins i guess the manager played the music and he said they do play it. This cute lil cafe is the perfect spot to chill with friends. The interiors are simply beautiful with quirky pieces of furniture and a mix and match of eclectic pieces adorn the walls. The vibes are super chill and casual. The service is kind of slow though and there aren't many options to choose from in the menu. However, they have cool activities that you can try out.. like painting a ceramic tile/plate and so on which are then adorned on the veranda walls. The outdoor veranda is a pleasing setting but not at all apt for the summer months. Would definitely like to visit again for some evening drinks with the buddies.

Probably one of the coziest and the most millennials favorite place for coffee, munch and catch up in Abu Dhabi. We love the decor, there is so much attention to detail. During the day, this place is bright, suitable for distance working. In the evenings, its dark with table lightening and thats how we like it. Beverages are okay, we have tried their Truffle Alfredo and we liked the sauce. However, the chicken felt like it has been boiled for a long time and was dry and chewy. I had a great time with my wife and friends with my recent visit. I haven't started anything yet but I already wish to come back sometime soon. Art House Café meets art and food in one place. Aside from the Etihad Modern Art Gallery, you would enjoy the artistic ambiance and the diversity of the dining layouts of the café and other arts displayed everywhere. You would definitely enjoy the great food they serve and surprisingly, it’s worth the value. I had their mouth-watering Beef Burger. The burger is a Wagyu Pattie with crispy onion strings, bacon lettuce and truffle mayo with the options of French fries/ Green salad. I enjoyed it a lot even with the last bite.The place is just right to have a serene time with family or friends. Staff are very friendly. A must place to visit and dine.

We went there a couple of times. I like their salads a lot and you should try their special coffee creations. The staff is friendly and I like their payment concept. They give you a remote with three buttons and you can just press it if you want to pay, so there's no need to turn your head and wait for the eye contact with the waiter. Another plus is the whole location and the creativity they put in there. This alone is definitely worth a visit.

A friend of mine invited me to have coffee and unwind. Then, he introduced this cafe at Al Bateen. The interior is really amazing. The art designs from the tables to the chairs were so cool. For the food, we ordered pasta. The food presentation is just normal but the taste is good. We’ll surely be back.

We also love the food here , the 🍔 that they serves is really meaty than usual , Philly Steak Wrap a Beef Tortilla combined with cheese and jalapenos 👌🏻 Prices are also reasonable 👌🏻👌🏻 but the only thing I am concern when We are there I can smell some smoke coming from some customers. An independent art gallery and cafe? Doesn't sound like Abu Dhabi, does it? Art House Cafe is tucked behind the worn down Al Bateen "Mall", which you probably have never heard of, and don't need to. It shares space with the very small and privately owned, Etihad Art Gallery, but there is loads of parking in front which makes getting there by car nice and easy. Art House Cafe actually looks like it belongs in Santa Cruz California, rather than Abu Dhabi. While I am actually sure that Louboutins have stepped foot in this place (since they tend to appear most places in this wealthy Emirate) ...the decor is in fact nothing less than eclectic. There are chairs and tables made out of everything from old stuffed animals to army gasoline canisters. There are three sections to the cafe with an indoor smoking section, an indoor non-smoking section, and an outdoor patio with clean and study wooden tables. There are even a few donned with personal grills. Nonetheless, the patio fills quickly on those cool winter evenings.

The place and decor are nice, cozy and interesting even though the seating is pretty uncomfortable. I have tried two dishes and trust me i won't do it again, the chicken caesar salad was disappointing just a bit of greens mixed with chicken that had no taste and the dressing was dry. the second was spaghetti bolognese, the meat wasn't tasty at all and the whole meal was just bland. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. I would go again for a drink with a friend, or to read a book, never for food again.

So where do I start? Oh yes the ICE CREAM 😩 I know everyone else will tell you about the vibes and the artistic decor and the different sitting areas. I personally was not very impressed hence the 3.5-4/5 rating. It is unique but it isn't easy on the eye. I love the fact that this place takes time and puts in the effort to house events and host some of the greatest local talents, says a lot about the overall aura. Okay back to the ice cream, seriously guys. You should try it. Their coffee and their eggs are alright and they have authentic local variations.

Quirky setting - seating mostly uncomfortable as focus is on aesthetics. Food selection is poor - their kitchen is apparently closed for refurbishment meaning that the food options are very very limited. I had an omelette and my friend had the spring rolls and chicken Caesar salad. The chicken salad was a lump of greens with a bit of chicken.

We had dinner here last night. We chose this cafe because of its ambiance and the cozy atmosphere that are suitable for good talks with great company. They have these beautiful seating with different styles that you can choose from. Beautiful, comfortable interior. We ordered a calamari appetizer, some drinks and pizza. The appetizer and drinks arrived early as expected. The waitress told us that our pizza will take a maximum of 25mins to prepare. But as it turned out, we waited an hour for it! The waitress explained that the one who made it made a wrong one at the beginning and so they had to repeat it. I think that it was because the waitress who took our orders didn't WRITE our orders on a paper, instead she just memorized it. I've had lots of experiences before in other restaurants wherein the servers didn't write our orders and instead relied on memory and 80% of what they served us was wrong. So writing orders is necessary, as was in this case. Service is slow here even when the cafe wasn't at all packed with customers. And also, a group of customers came inside the airconditioned area and they smoked cigarettes. It's an enclosed space and it's airconditioned and those of us who do not particularly enjoy secondhand smoke were all suffocating in there. The airconditioned areas shouldn't be smoking areas as well. I don't know but, their smoke definitely ruined the atmosphere for us.

The cafe is a unique artisitic cafe. Its interesting to see how reused recycled materials have been converted into furniture. Its a quiet and relaxing ambience and would be a great place for coffee with a group of ppl esp in winters. Lots of available parking is a plus.The menu is limited but i enjoyed the tiramisu. Nicely decorated art cafe. Love the funky colourful decor here. All recyclable stuff used for artsy purposes makes it picturesque. You can create some form of your own art and leave behind, great way of making the customers feel at home. I like how the tables are placed giving good amount of space to walk around. Food does not do justice to this beautifully designed cafe. The food quality is little on the lower end. Menu does not have a lot of variety. Few options for vegetarians. still a bright and creative to place to spend your weekend.

We came here to this cafe as it is artsy. Interior and concept is very creative. It's not a non-smoker friendly resto though. If someone is smoking, you'll end up being a second hand smoker. Anyways, food is great. I ate together with my girlfriend, 3 of us. It is quite expensive but definitely worth it. Salad Nicoise was great. Plus, Etihad modern gallery is beside it so if you wanna see more of an art you can also visit there

the place was artful and instagram worthy but their regag, better known as arabic crepe, was colorless in taste. we ordered 3 variety of regag - nutella, egg & cheese and beef with egg & cheese. so far the latter is the only flavor we like and the rest taste bland. it is best eaten fresh & hot, probably within 10 minutes, while it's still crispy or else the crepe will turn gummy. the strawberry smoothie is fine.

The concept of the cafe is very welcoming and whimsical. Everything inside the case from their glassware to their seats are all made from recyclables. A fun and colourful place to take your friends for coffee or breakfast. Staff are friendly, location has plenty of free parking, and the WIFI is good. Menu items didn't wow me and food quality is not that great - hence a lower score. Lots of hot and cold beverages for you to choose from. Crepes are made fresh and comes in two! My friends and I ordered a crepe each and could have easily shared one order. The Arabic crepes, regag were interesting to try - for 10dhs, definitely worth trying if you haven't had a chance. Smoking is allowed inside the cafe which is not great as that is the best area to sit. There is a 100% non-smoking area located in a more secluded second section. The second section houses the cafe's pet turtle (on display) and their famous stuffed animal armchair (definitely worth visiting for some photos!). An outdoor seating area is also available with views of artwork. I enjoy coming here to show visitors to Abu Dhabi that we have an art culture. After your meal, don't forget to visit the art gallery attached next to the cafe!

Ambiance 5/5 The outdoor seating area with hanged bulb's strands lighting is always a winner especially during good weather season. The solar panel jar lights shows a lot of environmental thinking from the owners. The thought of cyclers get a discount is what encourage me to come cycling next time to this place. Service 4/5 The table bell is just very smart as the cafe is huge and it would be difficult for foodies to reach the waiters without that.

My friend introduced me to this phenomenal lifestyle cafe and I was literally taken aback by the beauty of this cafe.This is a hidden gem in Abu Dhabi and anyone who visits here will love the serenity of the place.The seating arrangement is very different and is a very photogenic place.The outdoor seating at the backside has the most beautiful light settings and wooden benches giving it a romantic touch.Food is affordable and has good quantity. We ordered for grilled chicken club sandwich which me and the friend could share. Definitely going back there probably with a book because if you read books there, there is 10% off, even better 20% if you come in a bicycle(I haven't tried it yet). There is a museum attached to this cafe.

Such an interesting and cozy place! My friend and i had dinner here. The chairs and tables in the cafe are made of recycled materials, they also have solar lamps that lit the cafe, which i think is cool!(they sell it as well). We had burgers, they we're indeed organic. Very juicy and tasty! I was not up for coffee 'coz it was a humid night, i needed a cold drink, so i had the choco jungle smoothie which was a chocolate milkshake,oreos,mallows and a hint of coffee! I loved it. They also have an art gallery, where most local artist display and sell their works.

Very cosy cafe with a rare, peaceful garden. Having breakfast outdoors in the shade of a tree is just wonderful. Menu is limited but should be sufficient to find something for everyone. My poached eggs were well done - a letdown for a medium-rare fan, but I guess I could have specified when ordering. Service is nice and very fast - in particular with the call buttons at each table. Worth recommending overall.

Went then for coffee and a light bite, decided to try their new japanese menu, you cant go wrong with edamame but the sushi was cooked terribly. everything was going well until some smokers arrived… when we asked if there was somewhere to sit that was non smoking we were told no. Really? You do not have a non smoker section?? In fact why do you allow smoking full stop?? You really need to improve on this! We left - cutting our visit short - as we really don't think our children should be subject to passive smoking.

Aug 2015: The design of this café is fantastic. I was hungry but I did not like the menu at all and most of the juices on the menu were not available, so at the end I drank water. Sept 2016: After one year we were back and the menu has improved. We ordered different kinds of Regags and someone ordered the goat cheese salad. We did not order anything special but the food was ok. We had to sit in the extension behind the café because in the main café was everyone smoking.

Love the neighboring gallerias and found this cafe after visiting them. My lady friends will love the galleries but not the cafe. Seats are just not inviting at all. A bit too junky rather than artistic. Chairs and stools trying to be artistic doesn't go with comfort. My daughter tried different chairs and gave up. Only the dead end section has comfortable looking sofas and they were occupied. The entire cafe has a great sun room atmosphere. If the chairs being used outside are used inside, too, my lady friends and daughter will be happy to stop by after visiting the galleries. When thinking of that, I am not sure who are the target customers of the taste of cafe???
