As a Chef myself, when I don't cook at home I enjoy wholesome and nutritious meals at an affordable price while not compromising quality. I ordered chicken fajitas w salad and a special chef salad. It was delicious, fresh and hit the spot. A refreshing change to the Abu Dhabi restaurant scene. Will definitely order online again and highly recommend!

In one word, Authentic! I was there working all day and I was totally in my zone. The music, the ambience and the little shabby chic trinkets all added to it. I love that you did not overdo the shabby chic-ness, because it is so easy to go overboard with it.
I ordered the Chateaubriand steak which were two pieces that came perfectly well rested, with a crisp, fresh, side salad and the most divine mash ever. I also ordered a baked potato which was huge and cheesy, packed half of it to take home with me. Yet to make up my mind about the Bubble tea.
Full marks for customer service and the free WiFi. I will definitely be coming here again. With friends. Or without. Coz there are few places in abudhabi where you can experience real cafe culture and work in peace.

Shabby chic cafe, comfort in style
Wanted a quick lunch on a working day and decided to try this place seeing the ratings. I tried two things :
- Arroz with Chicken : it’s a Mexican dish and came with a salsa kind of sauce to pour over. Tasted good.
- Oriental Chilli Chicken with Rice : This was good too but I didn’t expect plain steamed rice (prolly missed it but it’s mentioned in description!) Wouldve been good with a light friedrice.
The items mentions the calories and has very less oil and was well packed and hygienic.
Overall quality was good. Would love to try more from here soon, catch them when they on discount !

We ordered Yangzhou Beef Fried Rice and Grilled Chicken Scaloppini...Their food tasted yummy. But the quantity was not enough for the price they charge. What was worth mentioning is that, they tell the calories of each dish. So if someone is on a diet they can very easily calculate the calorie intake n eat without guilt...Would definitely wish to try their other dishes also...

The host was very welcoming.
The decor was very weird ...in a nice way. Different.
The food was served in typical CoVid19 , safe .fashion...in disposables.
Going with the recommendation of the host, we had Oriental Chilli Chicken and Prawns Thai Curry with some rice.
Spicy and awesome!
Will be back to try their sandwiches and desert which were also highly recommended.

We went to this cafe and did not expect it would turn out to be this cozy and intimately decorated (the interior is amazing!). For appetizers, we tried the creamy chicken and mushroom baked potato which was a blend of flavors. Consisted of baked potato, mushrooms, corns and a delicious, falvorful white sauce. This was one of the best appetizers we've had! And it was very filling, enough for 2-3 people. We loved it and would try it again for sure!
After the appetizer, our expectations for the main course were sky high. For the first main course, we ordered Chicken Steak Burrito with french fries. The fries were served hot and crisp. The burrito was also piping hot, the beef was super tender and the filling was delicious. Again, one of the best burridos we've had. For the second main course, opted for Oriental Chicken Chilli with rice which was served hot but the the chicken did not have enough gravy and wasn't saucy enough (I guess there are better asian cuisine places in AD and we were comparing this dish with other better ones we've had). So I would skip it the next time and opt for something on the burgers/burrito next time I visit.
Overall, experience was fantastic. The chef is friendly and guided us throughout. The cafe is cozy, beautiful and vintage, I would definately recommend to everyone! And for sure, would visit again.
Fantastic ambience and setting , one of the really good breakfasts i have had recently. The food is served quickly within time. The prices are very reasonable as well compared to other places. I had omelette with Chocolate frapucinno and both were great Chef walter and Rona were a delight. Great place to start your day , highly recomended and will definitely visit again.

We ordered weekend breakfast from Zomato and everything came right. The English breakfast has almost everything you want. Bacon was using really good beef and hash browns were still crispy when they reached me. If I have one suggestion is maybe they can add jam in the add on options. The brown toast on the side was fresh and tasty.

We recently tried their Thai red chicken curry and chilly chicken. Both were amazing! The quality , quantity and taste of the chicken was too good ! Really loved their food, will be ordering more! The best part is that their food is healthy as well as tasty!❤️
I placed an order via the Entertainer and got it delivered in less than 30 min and the salad I ordered was fresh and delicious. coming to the point that I found disappointing, the menu says that the quinoa salad has 388Cal with sauce for the full portion (as confirmed by the staff who answered my call). I ordered the half portion and I received a container that has exactly 320g of cooked quinoa (that is alone almost 300cal) not counting the beets, pumpkin, feta cheese, pine nuts and the rest of ingredients. Just don’t mention the nutrition facts if you are not even close to it.
I highly recommended this resto, we love the food and the ambience, we also like the menu that has information about how much calories you were eating. And shoutout also to Ms. Rona for giving us suggestions on the food and great service. ❤️❤️❤️ we will surely comeback here.

The staff are very friendly and willing to customize the food and drinks if needed. They messed up my order but happily gave me the right one, and let us keep the accidental order free of charge! The smoothies are really good, as well as the veggie burger.
Shabby Chic Café is one of Abu Dhabi’s gems in-terms of amazing food and dine-ins.
I tried it the first time last year, and had becoming a regular since then. I had been there 6 times and they never disappointed, not even one single meal. Among my favorites are the Black Salmon on top of a generous portion of tasty couscous, and with their really amazing white sauce on the side. Another favorite is the Shabby Seafood Portofino pasta (mine always on penne or fussili). The pasta sauce is the best one I've tasted so far. The mussels are so tender, too. So if you love seafood pasta, I highly recommend theirs for you to try.
Dessert for me will always be their Banana crepe! This just completes my dining with them always.
Food is good but the prices and portions are quite small. Please increase the size. Burgers are not nearly enough and especially with the small sides that need to be paid for alone.

Such a lovely and cozy place, beautifully done interiors,love the food also, ordered the famous PHILLY STEAK and ALFREDO PASTA with my favourite CAPPUCINNO and TURKISH TEA.
Tried the chicken couscous salad and the fattoush salad with halloumi. The couscous salad was just too yummy to a salad. It is one salad that tastes better with every bite as your mouth develops the taste of it! Compared to that the fattoush salad felt a bit behind! Overall really good experience

The Dynamite shrimps we ordered was half portions and was so yummy that we kinda regretted nor ordering the full portion.
The Oriental Chicken Chilli was really nice, the flavors were really good and so was the quantity.
The Pasta was a lil disappointing, it felt like it was just tomato paste and lacked the flavors we were expecting.

The 2 ladies who served us were super sweet and adorable.
Also their menu has the calories mentioned just beside the dish, so you’ll can make the right choice according to your intake (given everyone is so calorie cautions nowadays)

I ordered the salmon with couscous for delivery. Quality and quantity of the food was excellent and arrived hot to my workplace. Well recommended if you wanted a healthy and simple meal.
An awesome place to hang out with your friends and have a conversation over a cup of joe. The decorations take me to back to my grandmothers house where I always feel comfortable and cosy.
I haven't tried any food there, so my review is based on their coffee (tried almost everything) and their hot chocolate. The main disadvantage to this place is that most of the menu items were not available up to a point that I was forced to order the hot chocolate once and this happened 2 times out of the 6 that I have been there, maybe because they ran out of these items by the time we go there so I am not really judging them on that.
Anyways, if you want a place were you could sit down, have a cup of coffee and chat with friends, and feel like you're at home then this is your place of choice

Rona recommended to us the best sellers without hesitating to rate the dishes in her own order and The Grilled Great Steak and Black Bay Salmon turned out utterly delicious and looked as good as it does on the menu!

I loved how every meal on the menu has its own counted calories. So you can eat knowing how much your calories intake.
They have got a variety of healthy options. However you must try their hashbrowns, they are the best, so crispy and tasty.

What an Instagramic experience we had at this cafe. Interiors are done absolutely fantastic, at every corner you will find some think unique. I couldn't resist myself in taking plenty on pictures. Staff is very nice and kind too. We went a bit late unaware of the closing time, but the staff was kind enough to serve us. Food was nice and delicious too. Another thing which I liked was menu items have calories written next to it.

Delicious, flavorful with a wide variety of healthy food options. Only reason I didn't rank them as 5 is because the calorie count on their menu items sometimes seem too low and don't include the side dishes calories (like rice or fries) which actually make up 50% of the calories sometimes. Also, for salads, are the calories only for the salad with or without the dressing? (again, better to mention the calorie doe the salad separately and the dressing separ). Comment to management is to specify the calorie count doe the main dish and side item separately as well to allow for a more informed decision for healthy oriented individuals. BTW, their Thai Beef Salad is to die for and must be one of their best dishes. A must try.

Shabby Chic Cafe... This cafe has a really delicious and flavorful roasted Mediterranean wrap! I was in shocked when I bit into the wrap. Wow! It's amazing. The 2nd time I ordered the tuna sandwich which came with a small salad and both were really tasty. I like the fact that they're not stingy with their tuna. It's quite nice. The last time I ordered from this cafe before they stopped delivering to our area was the chicken ginger soup and it was such a pleasant surprise.
From the 3 dishes that I've tried I would highly recommend this cafe. The food is good, portions are good and so is the delivery. Thank you for such lovely service.

We went on a Friday morning and it was quiet and cozy. Lovely place and beautiful vintage decor. Service was very good and so was the breakfast.
It was a delivery; I ordered online via the app.
Food: I ordered the Grilled Great Steak (picture attached). The portion size was reasonable (came with two medium sized steaks, fries and a salad). The salad came with the dressing on it, I would have preferred the dressing on the side (not everyone wants dressing on their salad). The fries were fresh. The steak was juicy but overly salted.
Service: the delivery time was less than what they stated so that’s a plus.
Have been there for breakfast. When you enter the restaurant, you are welcomed by a intense smell of old furniture. And indeed, the restaurant consists of old furniture and has an interesting look. We had the french toast, which was very good, and the balanced breakfast, which was just ok - nothing special.
We ordered:
•Shekshuka: was good, but the cumin taste was over.
•Terwiea: good, but the Hallomi was salty. Rest was good.
Prices are good comparing to others.
Shabby Chic Cafe has indeed stepped up the food style and taste, for the past 2 years I have encountered improvement big time. It infuse two style to bring you such a nice dish. I do encourage every one to try it. BUT Please Shappy Chic Cafe, consider that not every one like salty food.
Good food and arrived earlier than estimated. Crispy chilli chicken was lovely. Affordable for what you are getting also. Calories on menu helped with choice and let you know what you are getting.

I usually get my breakfast delivered from shabby chic. Delivery time is good, and the food comes hot and well packaged. It is my go to when I am looking for something "light" to eat. That being said, I am a bit skeptical of the calories mentioned on the menu, because the food seems a lot heavier than mentioned (which might be a good thing, if the calories are accurate). I also wish they would mention more than just the calories - Protein, Carbs and Fat. The Zomato treats from shabby chic are horrible, and completely not worth it.
Shabby Chic Cafe is such a hidden gem. You will not notice it if you are not that so familiar in the place. But once you get there, it's worth searching. The place has a Retrospective interior, I love it. The staffs are accomodating and magnificent. They also have a plethora of options in their menu, and what i love most is that they included the amount of calorie on each food. They're actually serving healthy foods in variety and really what you see in the menu is what you get. The price is a bit above average, but given the experience.. its fine. You can use entertainer though. It will save you a lot.
I super love the place. European vibe ish. Decors and ambiance plus the music they played, I love reading my book here with a cup of coffee.
The staffs are friendly and attentive. When I entered the place they have a welcoming atmosphere and they don't forget to smile. The food are well cooked and fresh from the kitchen. The first time I ate here I ordered jacket potato, guiltless chicken baked potato. It was huge but I managed to finish it. I also tried to order online several times and it was always on time.
Though I was invited to check out Shabby Chic, I've been eager to visit them early last year..
Perfect for instagrammable photos if you love vintage. I love the Beef Burger, Shrimp & Sweet Corn as well as the French Toast. They also have a live acoustic band once a month. Great place to chill if yu're near Al Nahyan area.

I love most of their items. Healthy, Simple, Tasty. The delivery is always on time. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. I would definitely recommend it for days when you don't have time to cook and want something healthy.

Delivery- got the Thai chicken and curry with rice & the potatoes chicken and mushrooms! The Food was tasty and the timing perfect! Not too salty not too sweet. Perfect temperature just right to eat 😋😋😋😋.

It was the name that attracted us towards the cafe. When everything in UAE seems all shiny and new, sometimes, you miss a little bit of wear and tear. Shabby Chic with its cosy interiors captures the essence of familiarity and comfort by combining old with new. The same qualities are reflected in their menu: comfort, nutrition, freshness and familiarity. It is a quintessence of health and indulgence.
Been here more than one time. The place has very cozy interiors! Been there during breakfast always and ordered One Pan Shakshouka and Chilli cheese potato. It reminds me of traditional middle Eastern quick preps that are fresh from farm. And Chill cheese jacket potato with sour cream is just fantastic.

Great food and very quick delivery by the team. Enjoyed the tuna melt and the lovely quinoa/pumpkin salad. All well presented and delivered.
Tried the traditional pot stragonoff and seafood portofino and they both tasted very nice. Fresh ingredients and great taste. Their main courses in general are fresh and tasty. Not a big fan of their sandwiches though, they are overpriced and not the best out there.

I went here several times with some friends! Great ambiance. Good food, we specifically loved the Calamari and the Carbonara pasta... Service was great too. We are definitely going back sometime soon.

The staff seemed very busy during that time, but they tried their utter best to serve us, and make us feel comfortable. The shakshooka was delicious! Definitely recommending that! Otherwise the brekkie (English breakfast), smoothies ad everything else were fairly decent.

Well this place was a love at first at sight. I always wanted to go here since the time it has has been open . The ambience was quite pleasant with a lot of reused and recycled items. A true delight to the eye. Now speaking about food, well we ordered in a chicken burger and pesto creamy flavored pasta. I would say the chicken was tender and cooked well however the pasta didn't really meet the expectations . I would really recommend this place for a casual gathering with friends.
I ordered a number of times from Shabby Chic and food was always delicious and delivery was never a problem. Their Whole Wheat Tortilla Shrimp Wrap and Vitality Special Salad are my favourites - very tasty and full of flavour.
Had ordered online a thai beef salad with spicy thai sauce through zomato....the portion size was just on point...the cashews gave a good crunch to the salad...loved the thai sauce...was rich in coconut flavour with chilli flakes....

We had a fantastic Iftar at the place. We arrived right before iftar time with no reservation, but staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Soup was tasty, fantastic fatoush and excellent chicken and fish for the main courses. Our waiter Jomil was very friendly and nice. Excellent price, 49 AED (2x1 if you have Entertainment vouchers)
My first experience with this place was not the best, but I gave it another shot and ordered again. The food was good, especially the Caesar salad, but the jacked potato is not good, its too dry and undercooked.
I often try to choose various places for online delivery because it's a good chance to explore the whole Abu Dhabi restaurant's map, but in any case I always return to Shabby Chic because their offer, as for me, is the greatest. Delicious and original meals, convenient serving plates, in-time delivery and nice delivery guys - I have never been disappointed by this place. By the way, finger sticks dish is my personal favorite there, but crepes, unfortunately, aren't my cup of tea.
I ordered from Shabby Chic today when I saw them offering a 30% discount on food orders. I ordered the roasted pumpkin salad which had sun-dried tomatoes and I added goat cheese on top. Two great things: 1. The salad was amazing! including the delicious dressing, the coupling of sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese. 2. The food arrived EVEN earlier than the suggested time of 12:26 which was awesome as my experience with deliveries are always horrid. Only things that kept me from giving it a perfect score was 1. the cherry tomatoes could have been a bit fresher 2. the portion could have been a bit bigger. I would definitely order from Shabby Chic again and thanks for the great tasting salad.
Warm couscous chicken salad is my favorite from this place!!! I haven't tired anything else from here but this salad is just amazing.. totally recommended !!!
The food was great and of good value with the restaurant discount. The delivery was ahead of the promised time. The packaging was good and they delivered exactly as ordered.
Ordered food online because of the discount offers. So far everything was yummy. Ordered swiss baked potato, penne arabbiata, strawberry and nutella crepes and Passion Fruit bubble tea. All servings was generous though I don't have any personal favorite among all and I was wondering why the online menu was less compared to the actual menu photo of the page. I was craving for burgers but I can't point a hand on it during my order online.Fair enough generous portions, reasonable price specially through the discount offer and commendable taste.

I finally made my appearance here after passing by so many times. I ordered the beef steak with mushroom sauce which came along with mashed potato and steamed veg. I also ordered the beef sticks which also tasted good. I'l deffo try some other things form the menu next time :)

The "balanced breakfast": scrambled eggs were perfect! Portion size was fair. I didn't like the coffee however, but i am just picky that way with my coffee.
The "Thai Beef Salad": It was more of a regular salad with beef strips and "peanut-ish" sauce which doesn't really make it a Thai salad.. no mint, no basil, no onions, no kaffir lime leaves... it was tasty, but it wasn't a Thai beef salad. Reasonable portion.
The "chocolate nuts crepe": that was not a crepe... crepes are gorgeous, paper thin with a frizzed-like structure and beautiful golden blotches. These were "pancake-ish" (the crepes ugly cousin so to speak). too big for such a heavy desert ( though 2 proper crepes would have been great and not as heavy).

The only problem is that the delivery is not fast at all both time I wait almost 1 hour and the place is not so far from my office. Anyway it's nice 👍🏻

But some of the food was cold upon arrival, the salad was swimming in dressing, and the cake was a bit dried out. To be fair, they were prompt to heat up our cold potatoes, and were very pleasant.
We might give them another try.
Ordered a well done stake but it was bought medium well.. I was enjoying the stake but once I got to the part which wasn't well done I couldn't have another bite!
The second time I have ordered their burger for home delivery it was great to try.
The food is good , salads are nice and the salmon is very good BUT be aware of the delivery it can take 30 minutes and can take 90 minutes like todays order .
The interiors are funky and chic with interesting pieces of furniture and wall art. We tried their balanced breakfast and full English breakfast. Loved the fresh orange juice. The food and portions are good. Highly recommended for brunch.
Ordered the Cobb Salad and the Chicken Burger through Zomato. The salad dressing was oily, but it still tasted good. The burger was good and fulfilling. The food was delivered on time. Considering the 30% discount, the value for money is good too.
This was not my first order, so I should mention that the quality is consistent.
Came here to get some work done. The ambiance is lovely. The photos are certainly more enhanced than the real location, but it is still cozy and lovely.
The WiFi connection is pretty good, so if you are looking to get some work done, you will surely be able to smoothly fit it in.
I ordered the Americano, it was not the best I had ever had. So I do not recommend it. I later ordered the mint lemonade and the sea food pasta. Both were delicious.

This cafe was so popular in my office and amongst my flat mates that we have basically tried everything on the menu. They were the only restaurant who were giving heavy discounts on delivery when no one else were and deliver almost everywhere. But the food... oh man!!! It was great. You would save and still get a good portion and yum as well.

My story stared after bying a coupon at Groupon, I thought it was a great opportunity to discover a new cusine with such a great deal of money, so I Went with my wife who has passion for good food, to start with, the sitting, it was too cosy, the Christmas tree decoration was classical and beautiful , it felt like sitting in your comfy living room, we had "stuffed chicken roulade" , and" chicken Picatta", fresh ingredients, well done and prepared chicken, and the intense flavors made them great plates, the cousin offered us a cake of coffee and toffee I guess that tasted soooo good, the waitresses were fantastically friendly, we left with both our lips and tummies smiling, Am I going back?! That would be one easy yes to answer
Great food and warm atmosphere. Friendly staff who are very accommodative too. The food is freshly cooked with fresh ingredients. The portions were also decent and enough for two people. I would definitely visit this place again.
I heard so much about this place, and they are quite popular with deliveries. They have amazing 35 % discount on deliveries. I have ordered full english breakfast, it says 2 fried egg however i got omelette ( which is fine). Beans are totally tasteless, however everything else is ok. Value for money is certanly there.

We visited Shabby Chic for breakfast as a family. The decor is great, with excellent service and welcoming staff. We enjoyed the home style, calorie friendly breakfast. The scrambled eggs and the cocktail juice were the highlights. Will definitely go back to try their main course. The jacket potatoes look yum on the menu. Brownie points to this Indian guy who played the perfect host.
Awesome place and very instagram-worthy. Interiors are vintage and even used an old bath tub as a couch (clever). Brownies were good. Great place to chill but unfortunately they're only open until 10pm so we had to move out.

This was a simple but filling lunch. I don't have any negative comments. The delivery was fast and smooth. I ordered the whole wheat american grilled wrap and it satisfied my taste buds well. A balanced combination - sandwich wasn't dry nor very creamy- and the salad was a refreshing side that, slightly sour and sweet contrasting to the savory taste of the cheese, mushrooms, and beef. Overall, this was a good choice. Thank you for the chef, staff, and management. I hope that this cafe continues to meet our expectations and maintains its good service.

Ordered a Exotic Veggie Pesto Pasta. Delivered quickly but tasted average at best. No condiments were provided along with the order which was a bit of a let down.
The food is always fresh and delicious. Love their quality and the speedy delivery! I am in love with their pumpkin salad - add goat cheese to it and you will want more! Good job.

Very nice healthy food and the altos of quinoa in the salad which it makes it very healthy and satisfying the beef wrap is great with brown tortilla bread.
But the quantity of foods is so little. I expect little vet more....40% off on weekend discount is great. !
They have a 30% off on deliveries right now so decided to give this a go. I ordered a chicken burger with fries and coleslaw. The burger was really good with onions, peppers and grilled chicken. The fries were large cut but not seasoned. The coleslaw came in a tiny container and tasted sour to me so I left that out. All in all, a decent meal with the offer.
Five stars food! Ordered salmon and salad. Order arrived hot and well packed, delivery was fast, the delivery man was so smiley and thankful (normally delivery guys are grumpy). Food is delicious, perfect size portion. Can't wait to visit the restaurant, well done! 👍🏼
I haven't been there for a dine- in, so I cannot give any feedback on the ambience or service. Regarding the Main course we ordered home, it was healthy & fresh. The portion is perfect for one person as well. The banana choc crepe is their highlight & can be the favourite of any crepe lovers. Their service is remarkable and special thanks to their manager Chef. Walter for the good service :)

I really loved the burger specialty the fact that it's a guilt free kind of burger ;) I highly recommend it for those who like thick juicy burger with less calories because they use low fat ingredients and whole wheat bread 👌🏾 I still want to try some of there other options that they have on the menu but maybe next time will try dine in :)

جربت كافيه شابي شيك كافيه على الغداء و هو الكافيه الذي يعتبر من ضمن المطاعم التي تقدم وجبات صحية في ابوظبي، تحديدا في منطقة ال نهيان المغمورة.
بالنسبة للطعام، بدأت بسلطة الكوسكس بالدجاج وهي لذيذة جدا جدا بصراحة، اما الطبق الرئيسي فكان سلمون مشوي مع البطاطس المهروسة والسبانخ، السلمون لذيذ لكن السبانخ لم تكن.
ديكورات المطعم جميلة وكلاسيكية، بالتأكيد ستكون لي زيارة اخري لتجربة الافطار فيه وشكرا.
The best place for veggie burger ! Ask for beef dressings to be added and enjoy the meal ; many of my friends started to order the viggie burger with beef dressings and they always say it's something amazing
I love this place! From their tasty healthy breakfasts to their yummy lunch and dinner meals. It's relatively healthy and very affordable and tasty. I've had them deliver to my home and it's always well-presented/hot and fresh. I genuinely recommend this place if you want something that feels a little like comfort food.
The food is quite good to be honest. Their desserts are delicious. Service was friendly. The furniture and decor look nice. My only issue is that some of the chairs are not comfortable to sit on (even though they look nice). Its still a nice place overall and worth a visit if you are in the area.
Ordered the Swiss Cheese Chicken Panini. The service was good and the order arrived in less than 20 mins as compared to the minimum of 45 minutes as mentioned on their page. The panini was decent, wouldn't say it was bad, but it could have been more tasteful with some sauce in it. Decent experience and I would probably like to try something else in the future before commenting further
Its a nice place as long as you eat in the restaurant however i would recommend you to order home because the sandwish will reach oily and cold
Lovely Sandwiches and Salads ! Had the King Club Chic and the Cobb Salad which was yummy and filling... The vegetables were fresh as well. The Ice Tea was a disappointment though and I could not parch my throat after a lovely meal. Nonetheless it was a good experience
i am not quite sure how to put this... yes the shrimp and squid were abundant in my order and it was very very prompt (extra minutes before the expected delivery time) but seeing the way the food was prepared left me in confusion. Because I thought the curry was supposed to be of a creamy in consistency and not runny like stew... the flavor was just a hint of curry and spice... not that impressive... I actualy didnt enjoy it at all....

Tasty, good prices and healthy (if you want it to be) really good stuff. The salads are smaller than some of the other noticeable healthy eateries in AUH but the still a fair portion size. The burgers are delicious and also semi healthy... I ordered the Thai beef salad and a chicken burger. Salad arrived cool and the burger hot and not soggy. Really good stuff. Recommended :)
Excellent food and service. Grilled salmon and mashed potatoes was good, and the hollandaise sauce was nice. Reasonable prices and we were given a complimentary soup as an appetiser.

A big thanks to Shabby Chic for the complimentary lunch I received a week ago. I was really surprised and had a great lunch that day. I received steak sandwich which has a generous fillings, so tasty and beef was tender, it comes with salad with a tangy dressing which I really enjoyed. Lovin' the juice with tapioca? not so sure about the name, it was so refreshing. Store Interior design as I've seen on their pictures looks so sophisticated and elegant. I will definitely visit this place anytime soon!!
This place is so cute! I love the set up and the food is great too. They have happy hours with 50% off on the Italian dishes between 3-10 pm daily and we got a free pastry with our tea. 😁 thumbs up to this place.

I've been wanting to try out Shabby Chic for the longest time and thanks to #zomatosurprise today i finally got to taste their food.
I had the steak sandwich and a bubble iced tea. First impression of the food was - WOW! how carefully it was all packed! The salad even jad dressing on it. The iced tea was taped and filled to the top and packed so well. I loved the steak sandwich. One bite and you have steak meat, sauteed onions and mushrooms melting in your mouth. It was really delicious!!!
The iced tea was also great. Normally iced teas are either all tea and no flavour or vice versa. This one had a nice tea flavour, not too much ice and peach. The bubbles were good too but a little chewy (im not sure if that is how it is supposed to be). But I'm already sold at having this place as a main destination for takeaways and can't wait to dine in soon!

Great food great management love the flavors and how they come together in perfection! All in all will keep ordering away from here 😁 also this is one of the few places that actually care a lot about their customers unlike many other places out there today. The secret to their success is they put us the customer first rather than themselves. Haven't tried it before well you got to check it out!
I ordered the Thai Salad for delivery It was delivered on time and the dish was simply delicious. Great balance between the ingredients and a fabulous dressing. So good to have a healthy alternative out there with wholesome ingredients! Quality of the beef strips was high and the salad totally fresh. Couldn't have asked for anymore really.

I just wanted to commend the entire team at Shabby Chic Cafe for a truly great dining experience. My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful dine in last night and I must say that the food and service were both outstanding, but the hospitality was truly above all…amazing. So many restaurants don’t have the “complete package” of great quality food, great service, AND hospitality and Shabby Chic excelled in all three. I don’t remember the last time our expectations as guests in a restaurant were not just met… but exceeded.
We had grilled salmon and quinoa asparagus salad, and chocolate fondant for the desert. The taste is so amazing and definitely will introduce this specific menu to my other friends.
The entire service staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. This was personally my 2nd time dining at Shabby Chic and my friend’s 1st, but we both agreed it was the best restaurant we’ve dined at in. I just wanted to write to you all to thank you for the incredible dining experience because so often, we don’t hear the positive feedback that keeps us driven and motivated in such a demanding industry. The food and service were both incredible, but the hospitality was truly the “wow” factor. Thank you and we will most certainly dine with you all again soon!
I picked it from timeoutabudhabi and I couldn't wait to get there. The place feels warm and intimate. Its a great place to either start the day or for afternoon reading. Try the nuts crepe, its nuuuuts!

I thought to give a try and orders a Beef Steak..and shabby chic cafe surprised me with that..very tender steak and cooked to its perfection..friend staff...and very good service.

We went for breakfast on the weekend. The cafe was empty which is strange as the food was good and the coffee is excellent. Service was very good, the waitress was attentive and thoughtful, and Chef Walter came and checked we were happy with everything. We'll be back.

Definetly recommend. My friend and I were in the mood of healthy food so we decided to try shabby chic. Let's just say that we didn't regret our choice ! A lot of variety for salads and prices were ok. We felt full afterwards so I guess it did its job.

It was thanks to a voucher sent to me by Zomato that I discovered this place. It sits right opposite to Jones the Grocer in Al Nahyan. We were there On a weekday evening and it was pretty quiet. We were welcomed by chef Walter and he made sure our order was well attended and made very helpful suggestions on the food. The decor is fun and quirky with oddly matched furniture, a collection of old lampshades and even a sofa fashioned out of an old bathtub. We decided to order a chicken piccata, a cobb salad and a chocolate fondant for dessert. The portions are quite generous. The salad was nice and filling with grilled chicken, walnuts, lettuce and caramelized onions. The caramelized onions really added to the taste of what was otherwise an everyday salad. The chicken piccata was grilled chicken breasts served with linguini pasta in a creamy mushroom sauce. Again a satisfying dish. It was the dessert that was the star of the show. This is not what you would imagine a fondant to be. It is like a chocolate lava cake with a crisp exterior and a molten chocolate interior served with vanilla ice cream. Actually the chef had highly recommended the Chicago fried ice cream but it was on insistence of the kiddo that we went for the chocolate fondant and we did not regret our decision. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Shabby chic cafe is located in Al Nahyan and is right beside soulful. This place has its own quirky style and decor that blends the old with the new. The seating arrangement is varied with a mix of dining tables as well as low rise tables which is ideal for your catch up coffee gossip. The menu has plentiful healthy options and also offers comfort food for ones indulgence. FYI their breakfast menu is served up to 11am on weekdays and 12pm on weekends. I tried savoury couscous salad which was a decent light bite. I also happened to sample the roasted Mediterranean veg wrap which comes with a rich pesto based mayonnaise. The winner in my opinion was the pumpkin salad with sundried tomatoes and its creamy pesto sauce which wasn't too overpowering and did bring out the roasted pumpkin taste. My sis also tried the chocolate banana crepe which is was very regular and I felt that the chocolate was slightly dilute. The waiting staff are real friendly and also filled me in on the Ubites concept and how to avail points in the app. In conclusion, shabby chic cafe is surprisingly underrated and is a great place to try out. I shall revisit them to try out more from their short but impressive menu.
Great flavor I get to know from this place when I opened foodonclick.com and I saw the menu and I ordered. The food came well packed and it tasted great and very healthy and fast delivery!

I am always in this quest of finding that place which is so cozy yet not too crowded. This is a dream, right? A nearly empty place would mean it is not making good business, and that is what i am looking for, am i crazy? I found this place, which, I am so lucky, that it was not crowded when I was there. Shabby Chic Café. Being in a place that is fenced by all these big offices, I bet it is busy on the work days' break time. So I went in on a work day, office hours. Ha. Everybody is at work and I have the place all by myself, almost. :) Anywho, the place is ecletic, to say the least. Bath tub as a coach? Nice. Comic books as wall paper? Cool! I love their furniture - a corner full of different sized framed mirrors, one ceiling with all kinds of chandeliers, one corner with an old violin. As if each corner of this quaint little place will bring you in a different place. Lovely.So I tried their food. I had a Cobb salad (because I said I was on a diet), my friend had the Shabby Super Duper potato jacket and the other friend had Shabby Beef burger. Waiting time wasn't that long - or we were just way too busy looking at the decors - but when our orders arrived, we were quite surprised. They were servings good for two. The Cobb salad in a big bowl is indeed good for two. It is heapfuls of lettuce, pecans and hard boiled eggs. Dressing is light, not drenching the greens. My friend's potato jacket is filled with bacon, egg and cheddar. A wow. Paired with a side of beans, it is already a whole meal for two. The potato is well-cooked up to the center. (I had eaten somewhere where the center is not cooked at all, I had to eat around it) The Beef burger is a jawbreaker (for me). Lovely sauces, grilled patty well-cooked and tasteful. The sides of fries completes it perfectly.Their bubble drinks are good. Not to sweet and I love the pearls. :) Will have to try their smoothies some time.I am very particular with the washroom - yes! it is clean. And with the comic book as a wallpaper made it interesting. :) Service is good, the place is yes chic. I nice place to hang out with friends with a lot of conversational pieces to talk about. Reedemed a groupon today to try their bubble tea and smoothy. Smoothy was good but bubble tea was a disappointment. Groupon has the offer in abu dhabi, do avail it :-)
This is so beautiful! For someone like me, who is scrounging the city for new places, this cafe is quite a phenomenal find.
There is a unique vintage feel to the cafe, with an organised mismatch of lamps and chairs. Some of them borrowed from a different era, or maybe just your granddad :)
The food is the usual cafe find, both delicious and filling.
My pick: A basket of their extra crispy fries, Veg burger, with a side of wedges and coleslaw and a tall glass of iced cappuccino. Enjoy!

This is a good spot for lunch, located right next to a number of offices.
At first I was hesitant, the interior was a mixture of old furniture taken from here and there, including a bathtub, modified a bench! It was hard to tell what the offering might be until you receive the menu - which is extensive and well though through, offering something for everyone - a genuine cafe.
I have visited Shabby Chic now on 7 or 8 occasions and the service is prompt and efficient. The food is decent, on time and satisfying. It s a good pot for a lunch break or to take your time and enjoy. The house specials are very decent and the sandwiches and salads are also good.
Overall the cafe has a nice atmosphere, and is very suitable for a relatively frequent dining pot. I believe thy have a delivery service too.

My friend really wanted to try out this cafe, so one day we decided to visit it.
I was quite impressed by its unique interior, very English and home-like. I heard their specialty was bubble tea, so thought of giving it a try..I was disappointed. It wasn't as great as I expected. Although, the sandwiches and salads are amazing!! besides being delicious, they are healthy.
This place wasn't as crowded as I imagined, there were a very few customers who either came to read or study.
All in all, it's a good place to relax and eat healthy.
