We went to Noodle Bowl for lunch before a work team outing at Zayed Sports City as we had heard many good reviews about the place and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is located right above the bowling alley and has about 20-25 tables in a fairly small space.
The food really was another level! We were a diverse group of individuals with varying levels of spice tolerance and nearly every single person had only god things to say about the food!
Some of the best dishes were, The Chicken Singapore noodles, The XO fried rice, The Spicy Tofu, The Prawn Dumplings, The Black Pepper Prawn (amazing) and the Cashew Chicken! The portion sizes were also quite big and could be shared between two people if necessary. We also had quite a few vegetarian and gluten free people in the group and they also had many options available to them with the Manager and the chef making recommendations that would be suited to them.
Even though we were a large group, the service was on point and nothing was too much to ask!
Thank You Noodle Bowl for delicious food and great service!
I like the restaurant a lot and the food is amazing and authentic but the delivery service makes me not wanna order again. Deliveries normally take twice as long as advised. It could be a five star rating otherwise.
you should try their nasi goreng kampung and salt and pepper shrimps!!! ❤️🦐✔️😊😍 we order these for a change... surprisingly it tastes sooooo good!❤️❤️❤️
This place is a MUST TRY. came down to auh for our honeymoon and boy was this place worth our taste palattes! Very happy with the food quality and taste. Don't be fooled by the location and the decor. It promises great food and a delicious after taste even.
Ordered nos. 3000, 3002, 3016, Marmite chicken (ask for this is, it's not on their menu) and
jasmine tea
I have been here for dinner, before a bowling game.
For appetizers, we tried several steamed dim sum. For mains I had Hokiken Kway Teow stir fried noodles, and my friends had Beef noodle soup, Beef with black pepper sauce and plain rice. Food was perfect, noodles perfectly cooked, beef tender and all together delicious.
Restaurant looks good and the staff was great.
For sure I will give another try some other time.
We love coming here for lunch. I personally rate their dumplings as the best in town. Really good food and friendly service. Also good for take out
Best place to go if youre craving for asian food(malaysian/singaporean). Its not easy to find nasi lamak in town, thnks to noodle bowl they alwys have it. I really love their nasi lamak and laksa, alwys keep coming back for it. Steam bao and dumplings are also highly recomended, its alwys fresh and very flavorfull. Its really a hidden gem and foodie haven.
Oh thank god, I just found Noodle Bowl is on Zomato and they do deliver....Yippiee. Went for lunch today and wondered how have I not discovered this place till now and thanks to my Malaysian foodie bestie I am in love with their food. Can't wait to go there next or maybe even get some delivered.

To start off this restaurant has amazing Laksa Lemak noddles, very good egg noodles. We also ordered Hong Kong style Ho Fen, along with soybean and some dim sums the difference of food in noodle bowl compared to a traditional Chinese restaurant is fairly little and they did a really good job decorating the rooms with ancient artifacts! I would love to come back next time! 😋👌🏻👍🏻
Good asian cozy restaurant. Food and service are great. I would recommend dumplings and stir fried noodles. You can go bowling before or after you eat
Bowling and Noodles.
I went for bowling in Zayed Sport city and one of my friends recommend it the place, so I gave it a try.
I’ve tried the Beef with piper sauce which is Really amazing.
The place is very clean and nice and the staff is very polite.
Best place for chinese/ southeast asian food I tried in Abu Dhabi. Laksa is fantastic, nasi and mie goreng also. Recently tried the crispy beef rice and HK noodles and these too were great. Place is nice, simple but 'elegant', staff is very friendly and prices unbeatble. Highly recommended.
Decent food, value for money. Took bbq chicken and duck with rice. Meat a tad bit over cooked but overall good. Service is good and convenient - you can order while you’re playing bowling, finish the game and find food ready.
Food as damn good. Nasi goreng mixed in with the fried egg was rich and one of the unique rich dishes I had. The fried flat noodles with squid/prawn was delicious aswell, BBQ duck with pancake was a bit expensive for what it was worth.

Authentic malaysian food. Dim sums are good and there are varieties too. Char keow is good. The XO sauce turnip cake is awesome. Must try. Also their signature soya bean with peanuts drink. XO fried rice is good too. Almost everything is good. A fav place to go for Malaysians like us. Kumaran Chandran
The food is good, there is a lot of choice, but the staff is not really well organized, and could be more welcoming.
We will come back to try other dishes
I love all the food, the taste is so authentic. Typically malaysian or singaporean chinese food. If you are new to chinese food, try to order their nasi goreng and dim sum set. The price also affordable, the location is quit strategic.
I have tried hokken kwe tiaw, malaysian mi goreng and siomay... all are awesome!!!! tasty, and very close as the one in our country.... very recomended
Love this place! Spring rolls are phenomenal, best I've ever had! Everything is so simple yet so good. Zayed sports city isn't the nicest place to eat at, but it's not too bad. Good value for money and lovely staff.
I came across this restaurant while searching for a place in Abu Dhabi to eat Laksa. Noodle bowl had good reviews so decided to try. Laksa was good, big portion. I was the only one dining at the restaurant but their windows overlook the bowling center, so it's very entertaining. Good food and service!
Located on the top floor of the bowling center in Zayed Sports City, this is a very good Chinese restaurant.
Food is on the traditional side, so don't expect fancy dishes or gourmet presentation. The taste however is really good! Menu is very large, as in any typical Chinese restaurant.
Service is a bit slow, and be ready to have your meal while listening to people bowling below!
A hidden gem tucked away in a bowling alley with the best authentic Asian food that I have ever had in the UAE! Definitely found my new favorite place! Absolutely love the food!
If ur craving for good Chinese food cooked to perfection Noodle bowl is one restaurant worth visiting .. clean and crisp dishes packed with flavors .. to top it all they have fantastic crew who make it really simple to order with their awesome suggestions and welcoming attitude and they don't make u wait long for your food either More than the food the friendly ambience would make you want to return always ... they are a good value for money... Meal for two is very reasonable and worth the price 👍👍👍👍
Wonderful Laksa and Mee Goreng! Steamed wontons were very good too. Great value. Nice interiors. Only drawback is the location (overlooking bowling alley).
I love Chinese cuisine so I am really picky when it comes to Chinese food. I have heard about Noodle Bowl from my friends and family and thought I'd give it a try. So on valentine's day, we head out to Noodle Bowl for dinner and here's my take on it.
Food: Absolutely Amazing!!! It tastes like Authentic Hongkong Dimsums!!! All of our orders are delicious!
My fave dimsums are siomai and beancurd wrap.
My fave dish is crispy Beef with ginger. This is different from the crispy beef in other chinese resto as these are sweet and tastes like honeyglazed!
Location: Far from the city. But we always come back here as they serve the best authentic dimsum in UAE!
Staff: staff are friendly but if you do not like your tables getting cleaned while you're still eating you will be disappointed but maybe you can tell the staff to wait till you're done. I don't mind it, i think it is part of Chinese culture.
Value for Money: every penny is worth it! They are reasonable priced. 20aed for 4 pcs of siomai. Not bad at all!
Highly recommended!
I had some not-so-good-experiences with this place, especially with home delivered food. Being in Zayed Sport City with friends who wanted to have lunch there I was ready to give it another try. This time I enjoyed it quite well. Tried the fried turnip and some dim sums which are great at this place. My main was the flat noodles with chicken and seafood. My request of no squid and less sauce was met, the dish was perfect. Sizes of potions are generous, the service obliging. Will come back.

The unforgettable Dish - all its dimsum
This place is a hidden gem and definitely one of my favorite dinner spots in Abu Dhabj. Authentic Malaysian food, actually some dishes are even better than in Malaysia. Good selection of Dim Sum, the Nasi Goreng with egg is the best I have ever had. Try the fish sambal if you like spicy food and a dish called cream milky prawns which will bow your mind. The Nasi Lamak is also really tasty. I love their lemon ice tea with mint too. I can only recommend this place! Defo my most favorite Asian restaurant by far.
One of better places to hit if you're craving for Chinese Cuisine, especially if you're looking for dishes that are served in Malaysia and Singapore. Good taste and reasonable pricing. Keep it up guys!

We've just finished having dinner here at the Noodle Bowl in Zayed Bowling Center. I can practically sing from happiness as having based here in Abu Dhabi it's seldom that you encounter very good and authentic Chinese dishes the same way as they serve it in my country.
We ordered Crispy Prawn Wanton which tasted so fresh and sweet, really crispy, none oily too! The chicken Noodle is also very good and full of veggies and fresh ingredients. A serving of Char Siu Bao or what we call siopao asado in the philippines tasted great. The chicken shrimp siomai is a must order and in fact we finished off 2 servings. A serving of fried ice cream capped the meal. Sooo happy.
All in all the bill came to 160dhs for the three of us.
No complaints at all with this kind of gustatory delight. And service is fast by their pleasant crew! Just don't mind the sound of the bowling activity downstairs 😊
Parking space is vast and free 💃
Good place and good service. Nice food and good cook.
Price is good but a little high, still manageable.
I hope they will have another branch close in the city.
The food was very good but a little bit too oily in my opinion. People are not that friendly. It's clean bathroom not inside of the restaurant. Need to take stairs for ladies bathroom.
Ordered Nasi Lamek,Steamed fish in ginger sauce, sticky rice in lotus leaf, tea tarik and iced lemon tea with mint.It over sees the bowling alley in Zayed sports city. The fish was yum as well as the sticky rice.Nasi Lamek was good, but they serve with curried chicken than crispy chicken.Mamak serves better Nasi Lamek.Mint tea and tea tarik was also upto the mark. Will definitely pay a second visit.
Cute little Chinese place above the bowling at Zayed Sports City (you can watch people bowl from some of the tables). Hard for dietary requirements but I managed to get some fried vegetables with no sauce as well as butter prawns. The Chinese iced tea I recommend - not as sweet as some of the others I've tried.
One of my favorite chinese restaurant with some other south east asian flavor dishes from malaysia, singapore, thailand etc. Everytime i go there, i always try different dishes and their food is really good. Most of their dishes have nice flavors and well cooked. Must try any of their fried rices, they have the one of the best ftied rices in UAE. Plus interesting place with the view of people playing bowling and surrounded by terracotta soldiers. Lastly, the value for money is pretty reasonable. Overall anyone looking for a change and looking for a chinese restaurant, should try this restaurant.
Good food. Really liked the preparation. Could've made the menu more appealing. Nice design of the resteraunt. Modern to be precise. Nice overview of the bowling alley!😃
This is one of the best Restaurant in Abu Dhabi that serves Malaysian Cuisine. We had nasi goreng kampung, nasi lemak, and teh tarik. Totally recommended!
Was looking for a quick lunch yesterday after being at Healthpoint, near Zayed Sports City, and hubby suggested Noodle Bowl as I had been talking about trying it out, having had some Malaysian friends recommend it.
This is definitely a Chinese/Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant. Interestingly, the proprietor is a Chinese from India, and is Hakka Chinese, like I am (at least on my father's side). So, now I think I know why so many Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi have Hakka dishes! They migrated to India, too, just like they did to Malaysia and other Asian countries.
The ambiance was quite pleasant, and I spotted who sounded like Thai diners there.
Ok, being by myself, I ordered a Malaysian one-bowl dish, namely the Laksa Lemak, which is a seafood noodle dish in a spicy soup made with coconut milk. There were three medium-sized prawns, a few pieces of fried tofu, and a handful of beansprouts. Verdict? Quite passable. Other possible Malaysian/Singaporean dishes I might have ordered would have been the Sambal dishes and the Nasi Lemak (rice cooked in coconut milk, served with spicy anchovies). Another day...
Me and a friend were wondering what to have for lunch and suddenly she suggested to try Malaysian cuisine. Being a Malaysian herself she recommended Noodle Bar and I thought why not?
A nice cosy place situated inside a bowling centre. If you like watching others in bowling games then they do have a terrace sitting where you can watch people playing but you need to make a reservation in advance.
We were sitting inside and I was observing the interiors which was representing Malaysian art.
For drinks we ordered fresh watermelon juice and ice tea. Both were good. My friend them ordered fried turnip and we thought of trying Laksa Lemak a type of soup.
I have rarely seen good variety of food with Turnip as main ingredient but this was simply amazing. Fried and crispy with small portions of fried egg and sprouts was absolutely a good beginning of the meal.
Laksa Lemak is a soup with prawns, noodles, cucumber and sprouts made in coconut milk. I know the combination sounds little weird but it was heaven. Be aware of the quantity. We ordered one soup thinking that we will share among us but later realised that it was meant for three.
After the soup itself we were so full that we thought of trying other dishes at some other point of time.
Staff is attentive, courteous and good. If you are coming by your own vehicle then let me tell you that there is lot of parking space available.
Cards are not accepted so please carry cash. Prices are not high.
A good place. Will definitely go again.
What I ordered for today was just perfect. Shanghai dumplings( being a nepali, i love momos. This is my go to when I can't (i mean lazy) drive to mussafah or the city to get some Momos). The second order was the Schezwan beef with soma something.... ( can't remember) which was surprisingly good. The surprise was the cooked cucumbers . I never had cooked cucumbers and boy, was I missing out!
I was recommended this little gem of a place via a friend but somehow I took forever to try it as the location is a little out of the way. So when I finally tried it today, I know that I will gladly make the effort on the drive for many other meals.
Located on the upper level of Zayed Bowling Centre, Noodle Bowl interior reminisce a typical old school cozy Chinese restaurant in some Chinatown in America.
Cuisine is predominantly Chinese with some Malay influence. The menu itself is very extensive and include Dim Sum, Chinese Stir-fry, Congee, popular noodles/ rice favorites and more. There is at least a dozen or more items I would like to try but have to contain myself and settle for only 4 dishes for 2 person.
For starters, we shared a small plate of Prawns Steamed Rice Rolls (Cheung Feung).
This took a while to come as they have to steam it but it was tasty. The rice rolls were silky smooth and has the right texture and the prawns filling was fresh and has a good crunch. The accompanying sauce tasted a little sweet for my taste but overall, very good.
Our mains consist of Nasi Goreng and Hokkien Kway Teow. The fried rice is presented quite prettily with a perfect egg on top. The taste is a balance of sweet and salty with a hint of heat. Try it with the sambal sauce that comes with it and it will elevate the flavor much more. The noodles has a similar taste and has sprouts and chicken in the dish. Most importantly, they both have the wok "hei" flavor (smoky flame taste) which makes all the difference in the authenticity in flavor.
We ended with the egg custard tarts. These small treats are flavorful. The egg custard filling has the silky soft consistence of a pudding that is not too sweet and the base is buttery and a little flakey. I guess the only complain is that the portions are way too small.
This place is perfect for brunch, lunch and dinner. Totally pleased with my satisfying lunch above and hoping that other dishes will equally satisfy in my return visit.

I like their nasi goreng kampong. It was spicy and tasty. It will make you to keep eating and crave for more. With the chinese ice tea, your meal will be complete. Nice option for oriental cuisine.
the food was actually very delicious and the pepper prawns were super awesome, its a nice quiet place if u want to enjoy a good Chinese food and then hang out down stairs in pool or bowling wonder full and delight full exprns
If you have read my review on the Noodle House, then you would know Char Keoy Teow is one of my favorites which I am always on the look out for. This restaurant has the most authentic CKT in the whole of UAE. It is not exactly 100% of the real thing, but it is pretty darn close. The reason why I didn't give it a rating of 5 is because it is not always consistent, it is good to very good! Since I don't live in AD, I would like it to be consistently very good every time! Another reason is the location. The ambience and décor is ok, but it is just too noisy on weekends if you are not there for some bowling or arcade games. I would have liked to try other dishes too from the reviews, but alas! my stomach space is limited :-)
For what you pay this place is amazing, the pepper shrimps and BBQ chicken bum is amazing.. The less glorious dim sum is ok.
Definitely will come back for the rest of the menu.
The venue isn't amazing but you can't have it all at this price.
Was great food. We had dimsum which was delicious. Staff were a bit slow but who minds really when the food is so good. All the other people dining there were Chinese!! I've never seen this in Abu Dhabi so on arrival very reassuring. Definitely will be returning.
This unpretentious Chinese food place serves good authentic food. I had dinner here and both the dim sum (yes dim sum for dinner) as well as other noodles and rice dished were good. We sat in the balcony of the bowling alley which can become quite noisy with the bowling being played in the background however if you so wish there is an inside section of the restaurant too. I am definitely going back again and would recommend it to anyone.
I don't think this place is too well known and that could have something to do with the location. Being about 20 minutes out of the city, i would say that noodle bowl is a great little asian food secret.
The food is mostly Chinese-Malaysian cuisine and is really yummy and authentic tasting. Their dim sums are also quite yummy.
I would highly recommend their mummy chicken; a nice stir fried chicken in molasses sauce ( it is sweet so if you are not fond of sweet entrées, this is not the dish for you). The other dishes are also great and their clay pot dishes are also quite popular.
I also love their peanut soya milkshake and order it, without fail, every time i visit
Great Chinese food at a good price. In the location may put people off but why not combine it with bowling. If you are used to Chinese food in the UK I find this is the most similar and is due to the Chinese chefs. The problem in Abu Dhabi is Chinese food is often cooked by Indians!
We really had great time in this restaurant. Food was great, inexpensive and good service. We ordered 14 dishes and all turned out fantastic
