I’d spent a couple of evenings here like the ambiance drinks and food. Live music is good as well. The only problem is sometimes it gets so busy that you couldn’t even get a place to stand. Though it got a huge space inside but still it look congested specially when there’s some event or anything special is happening.

Mcgettigans is a great place for a fun brunch !! Halloween brunch had a great atmosphere good food and drink and more importantly plenty of both. Well worth a visit

We really enjoyed our visit to McGettigan's AUH. We've had great experiences of this franchise in many different places and without exception we have loved it. The relaxing atmosphere, great food, exceptionally good bands and friendly staff would leave us recommending this place without hesitation. Only down side for us was the distance from the city but still well worth the 25 minute taxi.

The Managers, Bouncers and serving staff are so welcoming. I love this place! There are a few areas to the venue but still all connected in one. The bar is set up so well that people can watch the World Cup matches with commentary and the middle section you can have live music and everyone gets to have a great night. I keep coming back every Thursday �

Awesome evening brunch with a good selection of food, usual roast beef, potatoes, veg etc then a menu with things you can order fresh to the table, staff were very good with drinks too, this good be a contender for the best evening brunch imho and for 179 aed its definitely great value for money too

Rude employees, especially the bodyguards..it happened me to me twice that we ordered drinks and then after taking a long time to bring them, they suddenyl switched on the lights saying that the place is closing and that we need to leave. Even though our deink had just arrived and we explained we will leave soon the bodyguard basically stood there and rudely kept insisting for us to leave..they were very quick on charging us the drinks though even if they brought them after a long time of waiting. Shouldnt you have some sort of last drink call if u dint want any delay with the closing down?I havent been there in a while now and not planning to go there anytime soon for this reason...and definitely advising my friends to choose different place where they treat u better...

Nice place for all. But I advise that people , probably Europeans behave well. There are so much violence. They feel too much freedom.... Blocking the passes and dancing stupidly. Causing problems for security. Rest all fine. Not ideal but one of best.

Ted and Dougal are Ok but the rest of the staff are wonderful. We are regulars when in Abu Dhabi. Good food, safe surroundings, good beer and they really know how to look after their customers. We've continued going there since it opened. Tried similar places but nothing to match this place.

am used to hit that bar for 3 years all perfect except the african door guard who is really rude along with the new manager (idk his name who is so racist ) other than this cool music, nice drinks, friendly staff and good people :)
