I went to Khayal restaurant on Friday 3 Aug for the buffet. We had such a warm and friendly welcome for the staff and the manager Kazi. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is awesome, excellent food selection, tasty food, a must go place. I have been to so many buffet's in UAE but this one was the best.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food at The Grill is absolutely amazing as well as the accommodating staff. Everyone made me feel very special for my birthday. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

I went to Khayal restaurant last night ( 11/2/2018) as a last minute decision to celebrate my twins birthday. I told the reservation girl that it was my kids birthday.
We got a red carpet royalty treatment!!! From the moment we arrived until we leave the restaurant we got an amazing service!!!
The foods selection is great, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
The star of the night is the restaurant manager Kazi who arranged everything for my kids. He prepare a special dish like mac and cheese, milkshake, pancakes and made my kids feel special.
We bought the Groupon voucher for last night but they still treat us very special.
I would definitely come back again would highly recommended this restaurant

So, just left Dubai and stayed at the Palazzo Versace and as far as the the two places being different yes they are but as far as being 5 star, this place is for sure a luxury hotel. Thanks Marriott and all the staff! I will write a full review on tripadvisor so come find me! By the way, great Executive Lounge, staff is wonderful!!!!

We have been visiting so many restaurants and cafes lately because we are self proclaimed foodies and we simply enjoy exploring new places serving quality food. Food is one thing which leaves its mark on my mind but the people serving and cooking that food leaves their impression in my heart which lasts forever. It’s the first time ever that I am going to put the names of the staff/team who has won our hearts by their innovation, skills, recipes, and warm hospitality. Chef Pradeep, chef Eleazer, Chef Hamid, Chef Pranov, Chef Chao, Chef Sue, our server Kalendra in fact every single person in this restaurant puts his/her heart and soul and has made it a place where we were forced by our heart to visit again within the same week.
This restaurant is serving theme nights dinner throughout the week. My words will never be able to do justice of the deliciousness of the cuisines they are serving with passion. We have attended their sea food special theme dinner on Thursday and wallah what a stupendous dinner it was. Apart from sea food they were hosting Thai, Arabic, Indian and Japanese cuisines. One of the best dish which we had thrice during our stay over there was Chef Eleazer’s secret recipe of Thai chili hummour fish. It’s simple delectable. Dessert section was rich of choices as well.
Every Tuesday night is a Street Fleet which covers street food of Thai, Mediterranean, Japanese and Indian origin. They turn the restaurant completely into famous Streets of India in particular, where they serve pani puri, gola ganda, keema pao, cotton candy, pop corn, shawarma bites and other countless options. It’s by far the best restaurant from all aspects. Definitely recommending this to my readers and I too am going there again and again. They have special discounts for kids buffet dinner apart from adults. It’s a must try restaurant and I bet you’d love to go there every week to try different theme dinners. I wish I could give them 6/5.

We went to dine in this restaurant, they had buffet and it is widely spread across the restaurant. I loved the biryani and the cheese collection they had. We had a good hearty dinner and it couldn’t be better without a good dessert. The restaurant had a big dessert selection, I loved the coffee ice cream and it was just too good. I love how chefs interacted with us as we went around the buffet, giving us suggestions and things to try. Will surely visit again.

Spectacular food and ambience. Plenty of varieties to choose from. We had reserved for our anniversary and they made us feel really special. Service was awesome and Shovit was very accommodating, he had the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. Would return for sure. Kudos to the team.
The overall buffet was awesome, the lobsters and the mussels were freshly prepared and served. The waiters where attending and very sweet. Dessert stations were so & so but who cares we were already so FULL of the delicious varieties at the seafood stations.

We came here on a Friday evening. The variety of cuisines are wide, they have 4 live cooking stations. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Jezra.
One of glowing stars in the sky of the city, although the location considered far for those who live near city center but believe me it worth to drive to it .
The interior was expeditiously large with very well arranged make your eyes , mind go in safe mode directly with even you noticed .
All the people working their were extremely polite, helpful and welcoming, the smile on their faces literally from ear to ear .
The food was 10 out of 5 for everything things , most delicious sea food I ever had.

We went for staycation on Eid holidays and had lunch from this restaurant.The food is excellent and has a number of choices and live stations.They had Arabic,Asian and Italian including a separate station for sushi. Overall the food was very yummy especially their Arabic mix grill and Indian biriyani.I and my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We were pleasantly suprised by the wide variety they had to offer & everything was super fresh & delicious..The grand buffet at Al Khayal has different stations spread across the place that include a Bakery Section with a variety of Crossants, Bagel, Donuts, Cakes, even my favourite Cinnabons & much more.

Next is the fresh Juice Section offering a wide variety again, the Chinese Section that had Dimsums, Spring Rolls, Stir Fried Chicken, Noodles etc.

The Indian Section was pleasing to see as it included the traditional Sewiyan to feast on, on a Eid Day & many other options to savour on.There was a nice spread for the fitness freaks too & the Customer Service was absolute courteous.

Hands down the best iftar buffet so far I had in Abudhabi. Huge variety of Arabic, Indian, Asian, Japanese and Italian food. Beautiful ambiance and spacious sitting area. Staff is very courteous and caring. Very very efficient staff and chefs that were checking on guests and food and making sure all food is served hot and with a smile. Live grill station, live sushi and stir fried items, Huge ouzi and biryani stall, wide variety of deserts. There is cotton candy and many varieties of Icecreams to choose. Turkish delights and arabic sweets. Hot mezzeh, harees, live pizza baking. And all the food was tasty. Nothing was bland. There was flavor in everything. It is highly recommended and I have already booked for next Thursday iftar as well.
People, if you haven’t yet been here for their weekend buffet, you are missing out. That’s the first and foremost thing. Their international food, dessert and spacious restaurant and excellent service by staff is worth a visit and many more. A nice place to bring visiting family and friends. Love this place.

We went there for a buffet as a part of a city bus tour. They had very good Indian food and friendly service. I enjoyed the bar-b-q and the deserts the most.
The staff was very friendly and I appreciated how the the ice cold water was ready on our tables and the staff that came around and asked us how everything was and if we needed anything/any drinks.

@marriottalforsan serves a wonderful multi cuisine buffet at their Khayal Restaurant with the concept and vibes of an airport where you are a passenger and u can board into this culinary journey with their boarding pass.
The buffet is huge with quite a lot of options- Italian, Asian, Japanese, Indian, Arabic nd more. The food served at the restaurant is of high quality and made with perfection.
Every dish that we tried, we weren't disappointed as the chef's of every counter pay alot of details in perfecting the dish and making it finger licking good- like they have a competition amongst themselves.
Our favourite options from the buffet was the Korean Bbq, it was well cooked, well marinated and scrumptious.
Indian counter had all our classic favourite- the kebabs & botis which are succulent and the dal fry which had the tantalising flavours. Ofcourse the famous Biryani is der too.
Also their mezze from Arabic counter were soft, filled generously with topping and were great to munch on.
The best part about buffet is the enticing options of desserts that are drool worthy. Plenty of different desserts option from wobbly Japanese Cheesecake, Arabic Sweets, those tiny pastries and the warm and tooth some sticky date pudding that goes perfectly well with the ice creams from the ice cream counter.
Cannot stretch more in terms of how diverse the buffet is which gives everyone plenty of options, pleasing everyone's palate

On last Wednesday night, I have been at Khayal Restaurant at Marriott Al Forsan for dinner. Restaurant was quite spacious with contemporary look and gave off a relaxing ambiance. It offers a comfortable seating area. The interiors and whole setting are sleekly done with the perfect lighting. It was a gastronomic journey from Tokyo to Casablanca. On arrival at reception, Representatives from Khayal Airlines issued me a boarding pass. After receiving Boarding Pass, I have been escorted to my table and the server had introduced himself and briefed me about the concept of the theme night.

It's such a cool concept in the style of a flight on Khayal Airlines from Tokyo to Casablanca with Boarding Pass and all.
The food was amazing, a selection of items from all regions in between with an excellent salad and dessert range as well.
The highlights were the Korean BBQ beef, the Oxtail, Biryani and the sushi.
There was just too much variety to try lol must go back soon.
Great venue, superb food awesome service and very cheerful and professional staff.
A must try for all.

A Thursday night in this place is amazing for seafood lovers like me the food options are amazing from charred lobster to yumm shushi and lovely pastries. I will never miss a seafood night here.
Wow. We visited for the dinner buffet and it is safe to say it was difficult walking back home because I was full.

Food was average but not exceptional. Only grills for arabic section with appetizers. They should consider adding at least 2 more dishes for arabic section. Indian section biryani was not the best beryani I have. Most of the food was warm and not hot. The best thing they have is the sweat section which is really 5 stars. All other food range between 3 and 4 stars.
Wonderful spread of buffet ! Widest spread of buffet I have ever seen ! Name the cuisine and they had it . Indian , sushi, momos , Arabic , continental and it was in real terms an international buffet! Ambience is wonderful too !
Visited this restaurent yesterday for my friends birthday party. The restaurent is a delight with enough room and light. All of us had lunch buffet and the food did not disappoint us. The spread is amazing and we made it a point to try all possible dishes available. A must visit for those opting for good food and good ambience.
We decided to eat lunch at Khayal Restaurant for my dad’s 60th birthday and I’m glad we chose to eat here. They have a lot of food varieties from Asian to Indian to International cuisine. I love that they have live station for dim sums and hotpot! Their sushis and makis tastes good! My brother doesn’t like lamb but we were surprised when he ate a lot of lamb steak. My dad loves seafood so he was kinda disappointed because they don’t have any choices for seafood. They have great choices for desserts as well, the creme brûlée was phenomenal! We will definitely comeback!

Khayal is an Asian Restaurant located on the lower level at Marriotts Al Forsan. We were already late so without wasting a second we directly went to the food station. They had Fantastic Friday Buffet. We couldn’t decide on what to taste and what to not as almost everything what they had was our favourite. So we quickly started from indian dishes and ended on Arabic. they have live grill and pasta station too! Biryani and butter chicken was really Amazing. Honestly whenever it’s a buffet, no matter what, it always tends to miss lots of flavours and taste but this was not the case at Khayal. Their chicken kebabs were so juicy and tasty. Desserts were well presented and had a good taste. Loved the Chinese spread and drinks. Thumbs up👍🏻

The Restaurant is located in the newly opened marriot in khalifa city a. Good. Location and easy parking plus also its good to escape from the city crowd and the restaurant is a with very good and quite ambience. They also accept the Entertainer so you can use that to get the other meal free. The price is reasonable for lunch and i have been there twice for lunch i havent yet tried their dinner. Now coming to the main part the food which is backbone of every restaurant in the world.
Than in Food taste and variety this restaurant wont disappoint you and i think this one of the only few restaurants who have mix grill in their lunch buffet menu. I am very happy with their taste ambience and variety so overall an excellant experience for me.
Marriott Al Forsan Hotel in Abu Dhabi is a 5-star family friendly hotel tucked within the heart of Al Forsan International Sports Resort. I believe guests who stay here are actually people who go to the sports resort and are looking for a nice place to stay in close proximity to it. The hotel has a very cool design and the rooms are beautifully designed. The room that I stayed in is a Deluxe Room where you get a king size bed but no balcony but complete with the other amenities like mini ref and bathtub.
Had a fantastic stay at Marriott Al Forsan. The breakfast at Al Khayal was delightful with excellent ambience and selection of international cuisine. My personal favourite was the bakery station with a variety of delicious pancakes and waffles. Thumbs up to Ayman who served us during our stay and I hope to visit again soon.

I have been here 3 times, the food is consistently excellent in both quality and breadth of selection. They have Indian, Asian, Italian/European and Arabic kitchens. All are excellent, freshly made and scrumptious, the desert bar is fit for a king...with so many varieties curting across regions and cultures..truly a treat.
The atmosphere is bright, high ceilings and spacious seating gives you a feeling of comfort. The price is very reasonable compared to other comparable locations and service has always been pleasant. Highly recommended

Love the place for the spread of food. Plus the entertainer 2 for 1 monthly offer for Iftar buffet was also there so we benefitted from that even more.
Food is great - you won’t know where the start. And then you realize there are so many desserts options as well!! Parking is not an issue - you can give for valet service.

We went back to the Marriot al Forsan to try one of Abu Dhabi's hottest iftar buffets. This is iftar taken to its grandest proportions-- elephant-sized vats of mandi; personalized pasta stations; cream-topped knafa, and more! It's a truly international spread, so there's something for everyone to gorge on. This is a bustling dinner affair, with six live stations and a million different dishes to choose from. We tried the mandi with lamb, and it was spiced and seasoned perfectly. White pasta was made on request, and it was just the right creamy counter to the rices’ sharp palate. The desserts were fantastic. There was a wild spread of fruit topped knafa, boards of Turkish delights and all sorts of cakes. We nibbled here and there and have to say the raspberry and chocolate cake was our favorite. It’s tart, sweet and soft.The Marriott has outdone itself and everyone knows. This iftar is packed even on weeknights, so you better get there early!

The restaurant is very spacious with different sections for different types of cuisines: asian, arabic, indian, japanese. For breakfast they have sushi (vegetarian only) , they have a bagel corner which is unique in the uae, in the indian section they have puri bhaji, fresh paratha. Lot of choice and everything was deightful. Service also exceptional, the waiter even prepared for us fresh ginger lemon juice for our sore throat. One of the best in the UAE

It was really nice of the host to walk us through the spread, which by the way is huge. A few things that stood out of the crowd was Dim Sum (Loved them), the yummy prawn curry, starters, and desserts which i guess is their USP. You want to but cannot just cannot have them all. The ambiance is just right for either a romantic dinner or a family lunch outing.

Staff were very friendly and service was great and fast, made sure our table was always clean. The food was delicious, flavors were great. Dessert was absolutely divine, everything was spot on.

Celebrated my sons 2nd birthday and Big shout to Nimmy from the hotel and Mr Kazi the restaurant manager.Food was awesome and top of the world customer service they went out of their way to make each and every guest feel special and comfortable. Would recommend it to all a must try.

And all the other desserts too !! All my friends one look at my dessert plate and they went - “oh I need to get some dessert “ almost like I got the entire dessert menu on my plate !! And Alhamdulillah I finished everything and they were really impressed 😅 extreme sweet tooth !!! And yeah very efficient quick friendly staff- servers and chefs both!!

I chose the dinner buffet. it had excellent choices for western, Indian, Arabic, Italian and Japanese cuisines. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted awesome. the Indian cuisine was brilliantly done. The ambience is excellent and the staff very friendly. Definitely, definitely recommended.

They have an exclusive chaat counter for us. For an Indian snack lover like me, the joy is beyond words. Flavour hits the sides of the tongue while relishing the slightly soggy crispness of the chaat.

The assistance is spectacular. I indulge much into the Desserts section, Dumplings and Sushi. The variety is mostly FRIED. Prawns, calamari, fish fillet, etc. Pasta and Pizza to order on the counter, the taste is superb. Lamb chops tender, noodles not mushy. Overall, a great lunch treat!
Visited last week for buffet dinner to Khayal restaurant with Colleagues , Very nice and clam place to have dinner, different cuisines to try and they prepare live and serve the hot food. Hotel staff was bit slow for serving the soft drinks. Lamb and beef kebabs were serving together, it will be good if you serve separately, Other than this, its excellent place to visit with family and friends.

I made booking in advance. The process was swift, the reservation agent got all the details, she also note d that we were celebrating my husband's birthday that night.
When we arrived the hostess addressed me by my name. I like it when you receive personalized service. By checking the name of the guest was a plus points!
We were seated near asian section which for us was an advantage since we prefer asian food of course.
The food sections varies from japanese, chinese, arabic, indian, italian to dessert, etc. I appreciate the show kitchen where you can order stir fry, pasta, pizza, satay, kebab, grills and many more. And if not busy, the chef will personally deliver your order to your table.
They can cater the vegetarian and non veg. There are loads of variety of bread, cheese, salad, etc
My personal favorite were dimsum and pasta. While my husband liked sashimi and maki. In the dessert section, we tried the ice cream. There were also chocolate fondue, crepe section, cakes and fresh fruits.
Waiters were attentive to clear the table and to refill our drinks. They also surprised my husband with birthday cake.
Ambience was quiet and timid. The place was well lit. Overall experience was great. We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely come back.

Wide variety of food and the price is affordable compared to other restaurants. The bigggest complaint to management regarding the tables! yes the tables. Would you guess that while sitting your knee might hit a very sharp very hard table leg!? this can cause nasty injuries and they need to address it without delay. i did hit my knee and it did not feel good. Even worse imagine your child does! other than this a really nice place to be

Went there for brunch. Food presentation and selection is great. Sushi wasn't the best but the rest of the seafood selection was very tasty, particularly grilled crab. A personal favourite was the nice selection of cheeses. Desserts are picture perfect (however taste is average)

Went for the lunch today with my family. Everyone liked the food so much. They had all kind of cuisines with varieties of food. Also staffs were super friendly. I would definitely recommend all to go and try their food and hospitality. I will definitely visit khayal again with my family.

Went here with colleagues for lunch and i can say we truly enjoyed the food since we are asians craving for asian cuisine... there were Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Indian, and Arabic sections. Loved the sushi bar (everything was fresh) and the dessert bar (they have their own recipe not only for the cakes but also for the ice cream). Good ambiance. Great staff. Would love to come back again with friends and family!
Wonderful super and value for money. We were a group of 30. All was set by the time we arrived. The best buffet in abudhabi. Live cooking station, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food.
Visited this restaurant for Iftar with a group of colleagues. Having heard a lot of praise for the iftar, we were all really looking forward to Iftar. The place was very busy, which added to everyone's expectations.
The restaurant is designed as open kitchens, with various live cooking counters serving different type of food. Although the menu was mostly Arabic due to Iftar, a lot of other choices were available which definitely made it an option for all type of palates. Food was good, without being spectacular, service was friendly and attentive, although a bit inconsistent at times. The only letdown was the dessert station, which in my opinion, lacked the display and variaty as in the other counters.
Overall a good buffet restaurant.
