أعجبني موظف الحجز لما سألني عن إذا كان عندي قسيمة تخفيضات، والاستقبال كان جيد، والمطعم كبير وواسع يُشعرك بالارتياح، التنوع في البوفيه ممتاز، يناسب ذوقي في الأكل حيث أُفضل المذاقات المعتدلة، والحلويات كانت لذيذة جداً، والموظفون لطفاء ويُظهرون الاهتمام بالجميع على حد سواء، وتمنيت لو كانت المشروبات الطازجة ضمن سعر البوفيه، السعر المناسب لهذا التنوع.

من المطاعم الراقية والجميلة وفي ابوظبي ويوجد به بوفيه متعدد من المطبخ الشرق اسيوي والاوربي والعربي والهندي. والاستف جدا رائعين

One of the best restaurant in Khalifa A city, Al Forsan club. The food, drinks, sweets, the place and the staff is amazing. Delicious food. They have all the European and Asian food. They are great. I went to Khayal restaurant on Friday 3 Aug for the buffet. We had such a warm and friendly welcome for the staff and the manager Kazi. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is awesome, excellent food selection, tasty food, a must go place. I have been to so many buffet's in UAE but this one was the best.

Just checked out today! Truly amazing hotel and definitely one of the best in Abu Dhabi. Pool, wow! Rooms, wow! Staffs, wow! Super friendly and very efficient. Will definitely recommend and return ��

We stayed here for 5 nights. Celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food at The Grill is absolutely amazing as well as the accommodating staff. Everyone made me feel very special for my birthday. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

I went to Khayal restaurant last night ( 11/2/2018) as a last minute decision to celebrate my twins birthday. I told the reservation girl that it was my kids birthday. We got a red carpet royalty treatment!!! From the moment we arrived until we leave the restaurant we got an amazing service!!! The foods selection is great, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The star of the night is the restaurant manager Kazi who arranged everything for my kids. He prepare a special dish like mac and cheese, milkshake, pancakes and made my kids feel special. We bought the Groupon voucher for last night but they still treat us very special. I would definitely come back again would highly recommended this restaurant

I was a really good and beautiful hotel . very friendly staff all them were polite .the food it wasn't t really good the variety it was much but food was a bit cold.​ the sweets was really tasty. I will go again

So, just left Dubai and stayed at the Palazzo Versace and as far as the the two places being different yes they are but as far as being 5 star, this place is for sure a luxury hotel. I had bought a groupon coupon for Khayal in February. Due to covid it was extended till October 2020 and the hotel was also closed till July end. <br/>Yesterday I booked a table for two and mentioned it was a groupon code. My booking was confirmed. <br/>Today when I went there <br/>1. Two junior staff were present who accepted my coupon, wrote down the security code and were about to take my temperature.<br/>2. Suddenly a senior staff, lady, came to the reception. She was informed it was a groupon. She refused to accept me stating that after the covid situation they are not accepting any groupon.<br/>3. I mentioned that I called yesterday and mentioned it was a groupon coupon,however no one informed. As usual she said that is not possible. <br/>In all cases I feel in these cases you need to communicate to groupon and to the customer who have already paid for the coupon. Moreover your own staff did not know the rules. So miscommuncation has happened and no apology was offered. Complaints will also be placed for groupon.<br/>Very disgraceful and embarassing situation today.

I went here for a birthday dinner with my friends last week. The food choices were not that many unlike when I went here 2 years ago. The sushi station was not there, the Asian section was empty, the desserts were not that plenty. The staff were all amazing and accomodating.

They are hoplessly begging to have customers after being closed for 3+ months due to covid, now they finally opened so i decided to give them a visit again, unfortunately we were told we need to wear face masks INSIDE THE RESTAURANT!! I visited every single restaurant in abu dhabi, no one ever asked me or my friend to do so, tgi fridays, fuddruckers, chilis, etc.... even Especially the ones at malls !! Those guys must've really lost it, asking u to wear a mask and INSISTING on it when they can hardly stay in business !... so we simply arrived there, told to wear a mask even b4 stepping inside the restaurant, we said no thank u, we canceled our reservation, and headed somewhere else who are less naive and oxymoron than they r, am glad this happened coz i was planning to bring my family over, well i guess i wont... its supposed to be a LEISURE going there, not a costume party ! Whats the point of paying 130 aed+ per adult, having less food varaities due to covid, and told to wear a mask, thanks ill just save my money then !... So i thought id share that experience for those who have a sensible taste and understanding where to go and what to do especially at those meaningless times, good luck guys staying in business 👍...

I only am giving it 5 stars because of the help of Ayman the staff.. he is very well spoken and warm welcome.. he know how to communicate well.. the food otherwise was a disappointment as it's a hassle to wait per dish on a queue with 25% of the original menu selection.. I'd rather have a menu and order ala carre all u want better

We had a great experience for the dinner buffet. <br/>The staff there were amazing and friendly specifically Mina and Kevin as they did there best to make us comfortable. The buffet was very good and rich and the sweets and ice cream were amazing. We will definitely come again.

Khayal is a great place for family ,Date and even parties. Their seafood rage is so delicious we loved it and was there for a long time . If you are going, opt for the buffet. Everything is superb !!

During Covid times, July 2020 , food choice options have gone down by 90%. Food quality is down by 30% and customer service is down by 40%. Still the bill stays the same. Not worth coming here any more

Top notch buffet but absolutely horrendous reservation staff. I normally do not leave negative reviews but this has happened twice in last 6 months. I called on Sunday to make a reservation for Friday brunch and had some questions about the packages. I was advised that my booking is confirmed and someone will call back regarding my query. Fast forward to Wed evening when I called them for a follow up they said they are already fully booked and wont be able to accomodate my guests even when they had already confirmed my booking earlier. Absolute lapse in their comms and now I am being left stranded last minute to look for alternate options. It happened once before and I left them a negative review after which they apologised and I retracted my review and booked the venue for 50+ guests where they did pay special attention to the group. But now this again. I will be staying away from this place for unforseeable future. They need to get their attitude and customer service in order and own their mistakes. Abysmal service to say the least.

The experience of Buffet should be seamless and flawless when you are dining at Marriot. Unfortunately, I found some hurdles in my navigation around various food stalls in 'Tokyo to Casablanca Night' and flaws in the dishes. Let me not distract you from the opulent and eclectic charm of this place, the adequate lighting and appropriate arrangments of stalls are praiseworthy but I cannot sing the praises for food and to some extent knowledge of the staff. <br/><br/>I enjoyed the freshness of Salad, tanginess of pickles, and gratification provided by Desserts but got disappointed with inappropriate baking of Naan and dryness as well as spice level of Biryani. I loved the warm welcome by the receptionist and tour of the place but was surprised when the staff couldn't explain to me about 'Wasabi' upon asking about it and understood the right thickness of 'Naan' to avoid uncooked patches. When the food is monetised, each minute details in dining should be worth of bill; I expected a better experience in terms of detailing and precision by such a big brand, but it didn't meet my expectations. <br/><br/>However, the attentive staff and charm of the place compensated the shortcomings in Buffet to a certain extent. Please wish me a bit of better luck next time for seamless and flawless experience in Khayal.

Tuesday night (Street Food) really different and must see we really enjoy specially with good hospitality as usual specially by Salah who arrange everything for us also want to thank management for their staff selection as they really better than most restaurants in Abu Dhabi

Tried it for business buffet lunch was expecting more the options were minimum didnot felts its worth the price served the taste for the served dishes was on point. Rated 2 just because the options was not many

We have been visiting so many restaurants and cafes lately because we are self proclaimed foodies and we simply enjoy exploring new places serving quality food. Food is one thing which leaves its mark on my mind but the people serving and cooking that food leaves their impression in my heart which lasts forever. It’s the first time ever that I am going to put the names of the staff/team who has won our hearts by their innovation, skills, recipes, and warm hospitality. Chef Pradeep, chef Eleazer, Chef Hamid, Chef Pranov, Chef Chao, Chef Sue, our server Kalendra in fact every single person in this restaurant puts his/her heart and soul and has made it a place where we were forced by our heart to visit again within the same week. <br/>This restaurant is serving theme nights dinner throughout the week. My words will never be able to do justice of the deliciousness of the cuisines they are serving with passion. We have attended their sea food special theme dinner on Thursday and wallah what a stupendous dinner it was. Apart from sea food they were hosting Thai, Arabic, Indian and Japanese cuisines. One of the best dish which we had thrice during our stay over there was Chef Eleazer’s secret recipe of Thai chili hummour fish. It’s simple delectable. Dessert section was rich of choices as well. <br/>Every Tuesday night is a Street Fleet which covers street food of Thai, Mediterranean, Japanese and Indian origin. They turn the restaurant completely into famous Streets of India in particular, where they serve pani puri, gola ganda, keema pao, cotton candy, pop corn, shawarma bites and other countless options. It’s by far the best restaurant from all aspects. Definitely recommending this to my readers and I too am going there again and again. They have special discounts for kids buffet dinner apart from adults. It’s a must try restaurant and I bet you’d love to go there every week to try different theme dinners. I wish I could give them 6/5.

We went to dine in this restaurant, they had buffet and it is widely spread across the restaurant. I loved the biryani and the cheese collection they had. We had a good hearty dinner and it couldn’t be better without a good dessert. The restaurant had a big dessert selection, I loved the coffee ice cream and it was just too good. I love how chefs interacted with us as we went around the buffet, giving us suggestions and things to try. Will surely visit again.

We visited the restaurant in at 10 Octobar 2019 and it was their seafood night. It was trouble.<br/><br/>The buffet options was very limited. Seafood soup is empty only cream. Live grilled shrimp was not well done, no taste at all, you can get better shrimp at any AD restaurant. The only live cooking fish is with Indian spice and is spicy. I didn't tried other theme nights, but definitely don't go in the seafood night, it is waste of money.<br/><br/>In addition, the desserts were made with very low quality not up to 5 stars restaurant at all.<br/><br/>They offer valet parking, so it is easy to park there.

Spectacular food and ambience. Plenty of varieties to choose from. We had reserved for our anniversary and they made us feel really special. Service was awesome and Shovit was very accommodating, he had the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. Would return for sure. Kudos to the team.

The overall buffet was awesome, the lobsters and the mussels were freshly prepared and served. The waiters where attending and very sweet. We came here on a Friday evening. The variety of cuisines are wide, they have 4 live cooking stations. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Jezra.

We went for staycation on Eid holidays and had lunch from this restaurant.The food is excellent and has a number of choices and live stations.They had Arabic,Asian and Italian including a separate station for sushi. Overall the food was very yummy especially their Arabic mix grill and Indian biriyani.I and my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

One of the besssssstttt Breakfast Buffets we have tried so far...As we were staying at the Hotel we had the moment to try AL KHAYAL to fuel up for our breakfast needs..<br/>.<br/>We were pleasantly suprised by the wide variety they had to offer & everything was super fresh & delicious..The grand buffet at Al Khayal has different stations spread across the place that include a Bakery Section with a variety of Crossants, Bagel, Donuts, Cakes, even my favourite Cinnabons & much more.<br/>.<br/>Next is the fresh Juice Section offering a wide variety again, the Chinese Section that had Dimsums, Spring Rolls, Stir Fried Chicken, Noodles etc.<br/>.<br/>The Indian Section was pleasing to see as it included the traditional Sewiyan to feast on, on a Eid Day & many other options to savour on.There was a nice spread for the fitness freaks too & the Customer Service was absolute courteous.<br/>.<br/>I highly recommend Al Khayal for a breakfast buffet...It will keep leaving you coming back for more. Hands down the best iftar buffet so far I had in Abudhabi. Huge variety of Arabic, Indian, Asian, Japanese and Italian food. Beautiful ambiance and spacious sitting area. Staff is very courteous and caring. Very very efficient staff and chefs that were checking on guests and food and making sure all food is served hot and with a smile. Live grill station, live sushi and stir fried items, Huge ouzi and biryani stall, wide variety of deserts. There is cotton candy and many varieties of Icecreams to choose. Turkish delights and arabic sweets. Hot mezzeh, harees, live pizza baking. And all the food was tasty. Nothing was bland. There was flavor in everything. It is highly recommended and I have already booked for next Thursday iftar as well.

People, if you haven’t yet been here for their weekend buffet, you are missing out. That’s the first and foremost thing. We went there for a buffet as a part of a city bus tour. They had very good Indian food and friendly service. I enjoyed the bar-b-q and the deserts the most. <br/>The staff was very friendly and I appreciated how the the ice cold water was ready on our tables and the staff that came around and asked us how everything was and if we needed anything/any drinks. <br/>

On last Wednesday night, I have been at Khayal Restaurant at Marriott Al Forsan for dinner. Restaurant was quite spacious with contemporary look and gave off a relaxing ambiance. It offers a comfortable seating area. The interiors and whole setting are sleekly done with the perfect lighting. It was a gastronomic journey from Tokyo to Casablanca. On arrival at reception, Representatives from Khayal Airlines issued me a boarding pass. After receiving Boarding Pass, I have been escorted to my table and the server had introduced himself and briefed me about the concept of the theme night.

Amazing place to visit for a international dinner.... 220AED for regular days.and Thursday 249AED for awesome seafood night. A Thursday night in this place  is amazing for seafood lovers like me the food options are amazing  from charred lobster to yumm shushi and lovely pastries. I will never miss a seafood night here.

It was a very very disappointing night at Khayal Restaurant last Thursday... many guests where complaining.. it was themed as Seafood night every Thursday, but sad to say, it is only the seafood night without seafood.. even a simple prawn is missing... What kind of seafood theme was it ??? we are duped on an expensive per pax per night but no enough seafood as advertised... Sorry, I am totally disappointed and will never come back...

Came here for my daughter’s birthday. Ambience was spoilt by allowing a sports team into the restaurant wearing their sports gear looking like they had just walked off the field. For such a pricey restaurant there should at least be a dress code. Management kindly take note.

Food was average but not exceptional. Only grills for arabic section with appetizers. They should consider adding at least 2 more dishes for arabic section. Indian section biryani was not the best beryani I have. Most of the food was warm and not hot. The best thing they have is the sweat section which is really 5 stars. All other food range between 3 and 4 stars.

Wonderful spread of buffet ! Widest spread of buffet I have ever seen ! Name the cuisine and they had it . Indian , sushi, momos , Arabic , continental and it was in real terms an international buffet! Ambience is wonderful too !

I have booked a table 2 days ago to celebrate my anniversary on same day i got a call from the restaurant that they are having a conference on this day and there will be two three speeches and the guy advised me to shift the reservation to another restaurant i did not like the way they treated their guests they ruined my plan in last minute without bothering themselves to get better solution

Visited this restaurent yesterday for my friends birthday party. The restaurent is a delight with enough room and light. All of us had lunch buffet and the food did not disappoint us. The spread is amazing and we made it a point to try all possible dishes available. A must visit for those opting for good food and good ambience.

We decided to eat lunch at Khayal Restaurant for my dad’s 60th birthday and I’m glad we chose to eat here. They have a lot of food varieties from Asian to Indian to International cuisine. I love that they have live station for dim sums and hotpot! Their sushis and makis tastes good! My brother doesn’t like lamb but we were surprised when he ate a lot of lamb steak. My dad loves seafood so he was kinda disappointed because they don’t have any choices for seafood. They have great choices for desserts as well, the creme brûlée was phenomenal! We will definitely comeback!

Khayal is an Asian Restaurant located on the lower level at Marriotts Al Forsan. We were already late so without wasting a second we directly went to the food station. They had Fantastic Friday Buffet. We couldn’t decide on what to taste and what to not as almost everything what they had was our favourite. So we quickly started from indian dishes and ended on Arabic. they have live grill and pasta station too! Biryani and butter chicken was really Amazing. Honestly whenever it’s a buffet, no matter what, it always tends to miss lots of flavours and taste but this was not the case at Khayal. Their chicken kebabs were so juicy and tasty. Desserts were well presented and had a good taste. Loved the Chinese spread and drinks. Thumbs up👍🏻

We purchased groupon vouchers for a family gathering  couple of weeks ago. I was very surprised at the quality of the staff they have for service, especially it being a Marriott. The cutlery was not being removed or replaced and were frequently looking around for staff. We had asked for a cake to be bought out at a specific time but this was forgotten. After the cake was bought out and cut, we had to wait for them to get us the cutlery.<br/>The food quality of the buffet was average and not memorable even though they had a vast selection.

The Restaurant is located in the newly opened marriot in khalifa city a. Good. Location and easy parking plus also its good to escape from the city crowd and the restaurant is a with very good and quite ambience. They also accept the Entertainer so you can use that to get the other meal free. The price is reasonable for lunch and i have been there twice for lunch i havent yet tried their dinner. Now coming to the main part the food which is backbone of every restaurant in the world.<br/><br/>Than in Food taste and variety this restaurant wont disappoint you and i think this one of the only few restaurants who have mix grill in their lunch buffet menu. I am very happy with their taste ambience and variety so overall an excellant experience for me.

Marriott Al Forsan Hotel in Abu Dhabi is a 5-star family friendly hotel tucked within the heart of Al Forsan International Sports Resort. I believe guests who stay here are actually people who go to the sports resort and are looking for a nice place to stay in close proximity to it. The hotel has a very cool design and the rooms are beautifully designed. The room that I stayed in is a Deluxe Room where you get a king size bed but no balcony but complete with the other amenities like mini ref and bathtub.

Had a fantastic stay at Marriott Al Forsan. The breakfast at Al Khayal was delightful with excellent ambience and selection of international cuisine. My personal favourite was the bakery station with a variety of delicious pancakes and waffles. Thumbs up to Ayman who served us during our stay and I hope to visit again soon.

I have been here 3 times, the food is consistently excellent in both quality and breadth of selection. They have Indian, Asian, Italian/European and Arabic kitchens. All are excellent, freshly made and scrumptious, the desert bar is fit for a king...with so many varieties curting across regions and cultures..truly a treat.<br/><br/>The atmosphere is bright, high ceilings and spacious seating gives you a feeling of comfort. The price is very reasonable compared to other comparable locations and service has always been pleasant. Highly recommended

My 2nd visit to Khayal Restaurant today. The place was completely packed as expected!<br/><br/>Love the place for the spread of food. Plus the entertainer 2 for 1 monthly offer for Iftar buffet was also there so we benefitted from that even more.<br/><br/>Food is great - you won’t know where the start. And then you realize there are so many desserts options as well!! Parking is not an issue - you can give for valet service.<br/><br/>Staff are very friendly despite the rush - hats off to them for maintaining their calm 😅

We went back to the Marriot al Forsan to try one of Abu Dhabi's hottest iftar buffets. This is iftar taken to its grandest proportions-- elephant-sized vats of mandi;  personalized pasta stations; cream-topped knafa, and more! It's a truly international spread, so there's something for everyone to gorge on. This is a bustling dinner affair, with six live stations and a million different dishes to choose from. We tried the mandi with lamb, and it was spiced and seasoned perfectly. White pasta was made on request, and it was just the right creamy counter to the rices’ sharp palate. The desserts were fantastic. There was a wild spread of fruit topped knafa, boards of Turkish delights and all sorts of cakes. We nibbled here and there and have to say the raspberry and chocolate cake was our favorite. It’s tart, sweet and soft.The Marriott has outdone itself and everyone knows. This iftar is packed even on weeknights, so you better get there early!

One of the best iftar buffets in Abu Dhabi... the atmosphere, the vast variety of food, the quality of the food, the staff... all add up to a great experience... a restaurant you would go for again for sure

The restaurant is very spacious with different sections for different types of cuisines: asian, arabic, indian, japanese. For breakfast they have sushi (vegetarian only) , they have a bagel corner which is unique in the uae, in the indian section they have puri bhaji, fresh paratha. Lot of choice and everything was deightful. Service also exceptional, the waiter even prepared for us fresh ginger lemon juice for our sore throat. One of the best in the UAE

It was really nice of the host to walk us through the spread, which by the way is huge. A few things that stood out of the crowd was Dim Sum (Loved them), the yummy prawn curry, starters, and desserts which i guess is their USP. You want to but cannot just cannot have them all. The ambiance is just right for either a romantic dinner or a family lunch outing.

Went to the international lunch buffet with my family.<br/>Staff were very friendly and service was great and fast, made sure our table was always clean. The food was delicious, flavors were great. Dessert was absolutely divine, everything was spot on. <br/>Definitely looking forward to come back here.

We had dinner last night and it was incredibly disappointing. Very low quality for a 5 star hotel. <br/>This is the second chance we’ve given them after a previous failed lunch. We thought hey, maybe it’s just their lunch that sucks. It seems their buffet is only good in Ramadan. <br/><br/>Last night’s dinner theme was supposedly international but it was mostly chinese and Indian (which is fine), but the dishes were excecuted very poorly. Sticky rice was beyond sticky. It was softer than rice you’d cook for babies. I’ve had better noodles from a packet. As you can see in one of the photos, the paratha from the Indian station is black. It was the last piece so I thought I’d try it. Ended up tasting like a burned cracker. The biryani was clumpy. Arabic grills not even worth tasting. No effort put in whatsoever into the food. Never going back. <br/><br/>Service was also bad. Our plates were collected very late. We kept piling them to the side, hoping to find a winning menu item. The lazy service wouldn’t have bothered us too much - if the food was actually GOOD. Save your money. We filled up on icecream in the end.

Came here invited by the hotel sales team, the place is very nice and full of choices. JW Marriott is the best hotel in the area, highly recommended buffet!

Celebrated my sons 2nd birthday and Big shout to Nimmy from the hotel and Mr Kazi the restaurant manager.Food was awesome and top of the world customer service they went out of their way to make each and every guest feel special and comfortable. Would recommend it to all a must try.

I love how big is their place and high ceilings. <br/>Good sushi. <br/>But their service was a bit slow .. i.e, no one was there to help us with anything. We were ignored for so long although the place was not crowded at all. <br/>

Been here for lunch .. they had a fair spread and very friendly service.. just watch out for the sharp edged dining table leg .. especially if you are tall .. tat hurts really bad!

Wonderful ladies night out ... had a great time .. such a beautiful place .. and the food was very delicious .. this was an international dinner buffet groupon .. and there was plenty variety and tasty flavours .. my favourite undoubtedly was the beryani and the ice cream - raspberry and lime flavour !! And all the other desserts too !! All my friends one look at my dessert plate and they went - “oh I need to get some dessert “ almost like I got the entire dessert menu on my plate !! And Alhamdulillah I finished everything and they were really impressed 😅 extreme sweet tooth !!! And yeah very efficient quick friendly staff- servers and chefs both!!

I chose this restaurant for my anniversary, and I must say it was definitely worth it, by several times. I chose the dinner buffet. it had excellent choices for western, Indian, Arabic, Italian and Japanese cuisines. All the ingredients were fresh and tasted awesome. the Indian cuisine was brilliantly done. The ambience is excellent and the staff very friendly. Definitely, definitely recommended.

Incompetent and by far the worst service I have ever encountered. We went there for our wedding anniversary. We booked a corner room with full board for 1,200 AED. When we arrived they told us there were no corner rooms, but then they "found" one for an additional 200+. We paid the extra (all told with taxes it came to over 2,000 AED). We have a three-month-old baby and a three-year-old child. They were painting outside our room and the noxious paint fumes were unsafe (not to mention extremely unpleasant). On top of that, the bathroom leaked all over the floor. There was a puddle that extended all the way out to the bed (also unsafe and very unpleasant). We complained and they offered to upgrade us to an executive suite. We repacked all of our things (which with two children is a lot) and moved to our new room which turned out to be a standard room just a few doors down from where we were. Same paint fumes- but now the room was smaller. My wife was in tears. We had only been there a few hours, but so far our stay was a disaster. I called the front desk and said that we wanted to leave and expected a full refund. We carried all of our things down ourselves, and we were only approached when we reached the lobby. At that point the front desk attempted to convince us to stay by yet again offering us an upgrade to an executive suite ( I guess for real this time?). We explained that they ruined our anniversary and that we just wanted to leave. The front desk agreed to give us a FULL REFUND and we spent the remainder of our wedding anniversary driving back to our home. Today we received an email from the manager confirming that the hotel would refund 250 AED!!!! Crooks, Thieves, Liars!!! This hotel has no integrity, no sense of how to treat a guest and absolutely no professionalism whatsoever.

Was impressed to see the array of soy sauces.<br/>The roast chicken was juicy and had a zesty flavor to it.<br/>I am not a dessert person but this place made me love their dessert station. Their walnut and pistachio cakes were so moist and tasty. And their lemon tart had the perfect blend of citrusy zing and creamy softness.<br/>I was not happy with the sushi bar. Not many varieties to try out. And there werent many pieces kept at the station either.

Stayed for two days at Marriott Al Forsan, the place is really great! but I did not enjoyed the food at Khayal Restaurant. I had my breakfast, lunch and dinner at Khayal. There is not that much variety and the food is not that great. (Specially the noodle soup by request, there is no taste at all) Yes there are 3 or 4 types of cuisine but they dont have much to offer in each cuisine. Plus they serve same food in their lunch and dinner everyday!!! They just serve their left over in lunch at dinner time. Not impressive at all.

They have an exclusive chaat counter for us. For an Indian snack lover like me, the joy is beyond words. Flavour hits the sides of the tongue while relishing the slightly soggy crispness of the chaat.

Excellent variety of food, They have pretty much everything covered. <br/><br/>Unlike most of the buffets in Abu dhabi, each dish was unique and special. <br/><br/>Definitely the best in the all day dining category.

Khayal is an Asian-themed Buffet. <br/>Been here twice.<br/>The assistance is spectacular. I indulge much into the Desserts section, Dumplings and Sushi. The variety is mostly FRIED. Prawns, calamari, fish fillet, etc. Pasta and Pizza to order on the counter, the taste is superb. Lamb chops tender, noodles not mushy. Overall, a great lunch treat!

Visited last week for buffet dinner to Khayal restaurant with Colleagues , Very nice and clam place to have dinner, different cuisines to try and they prepare live and serve the hot food. Hotel staff was bit slow for serving the soft drinks. Lamb and beef kebabs were serving together, it will be good if you serve separately, Other than this, its excellent place to visit with family and friends.

The process was swift, the reservation agent got all the details, she also note d that we were celebrating my husband's birthday that night.<br/><br/>When we arrived the hostess addressed me by my name. I like it when you receive personalized service. By checking the name of the guest was a plus points!<br/><br/>We were seated near asian section which for us was an advantage since we prefer asian food of course.<br/><br/>The food sections varies from japanese, chinese, arabic, indian, italian to dessert, etc. I appreciate the show kitchen where you can order stir fry, pasta, pizza, satay, kebab, grills and many more. And if not busy, the chef will personally deliver your order to your table.<br/><br/>They can cater the vegetarian and non veg. There are loads of variety of bread, cheese, salad, etc <br/>My personal favorite were dimsum and pasta. While my husband liked sashimi and maki. In the dessert section, we tried the ice cream. There were also chocolate fondue, crepe section, cakes and fresh fruits. <br/><br/>Waiters were attentive to clear the table and to refill our drinks. They also surprised my husband with birthday cake. <br/><br/> Ambience was quiet and timid. The place was well lit. Overall experience was great. We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely come back.

The bigggest complaint to management regarding the tables! yes the tables. Would you guess that while sitting your knee might hit a very sharp very hard table leg!? this can cause nasty injuries and they need to address it without delay. i did hit my knee and it did not feel good. Husband made a booking 4 days before the Friday brunch. On the day of the brunch, barely 10am we were woken up by the call from the restaurant for the reconfirmation of our booking. Husband dropped us first to the restaurant before going to mosque. Were there at 12:30pm, only to be told by the manager in charge that we dont have any booking.<br/>30 minutes passed sitting at the lobby while waiting for my husband and one of the crew recognized me as a regular for the dinner buffet approached me and took again the name and mobile no. of our booking and voila we have indeed a booking! table given to us was near the fire exit, beside the area where they are putting the used plates, a maze from buffet area to our table. the manager in charge approached me to tell me "i hope it is ok this table for you, we improvised only because you dont have booking" (?!?!?!?!) ... want to rant and start to argue with him only to be held back by my growling hungry stomach and fussy children. <br/><br/>Other than it is like a maze from our table to the buffet area, it is also hard to reach, hence, our plates were not cleared in timely manner that i was obliged to clear it myself. And since we are near the fire exit door, we were obliged to open the door for guests that went out for cigarette. <br/><br/>I assume our reservation was given to another guest since the manager in charge was not paying enough attention when i was giving our info for the booking. <br/>Food spread is decent, chefs are polite, service crews are polite, Manager is a let down.

Went there for brunch. Food presentation and selection is great. Sushi wasn't the best but the rest of the seafood selection was very tasty, particularly grilled crab. A personal favourite was the nice selection of cheeses. Desserts are picture perfect (however taste is average)

Solid buffet offering with quality ingredients, but the dishes were a bit bland overall. Tried the Grill station (food appeared to be not seasoned very much), sushi (small but good selection of Salmon and Shrimp Nigiri and rolls), Italian section (okay but already forgotten) and Asian section with Thai flavor. There personally I liked the soup which was based on chicken stock with ingredients and spice levels made to order.  <br/><br/>The ambiance is nice and modern, the fact that the Marriott Al Forsan is a fairly new hotel shows.<br/><br/>Overall I think this is a good addition for the Khalifa City Area and for people who want to eat near the Golf club nearby.

Went for the lunch today with my family. Everyone liked the food so much. They had all kind of cuisines with varieties of food. Also staffs were super friendly. Went here with colleagues for lunch and i can say we truly enjoyed the food since we are asians craving for asian cuisine... there were Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Indian, and Arabic sections. Loved the sushi bar (everything was fresh) and the dessert bar (they have their own recipe not only for the cakes but also for the ice cream). Good ambiance. Great staff. Would love to come back again with friends and family!

Wonderful super and value for money. We were a group of 30. All was set by the time we arrived. The best buffet in abudhabi. Live cooking station, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food.

Visited this restaurant for Iftar with a group of colleagues. Having heard a lot of praise for the iftar, we were all really looking forward to Iftar. The place was very busy, which added to everyone's expectations.<br/><br/>The restaurant is designed as open kitchens, with various live cooking counters serving different type of food. Although the menu was mostly Arabic due to Iftar, a lot of other choices were available which definitely made it an option for all type of palates. Food was good, without being spectacular, service was friendly and attentive, although a bit inconsistent at times. The only letdown was the dessert station, which in my opinion, lacked the display and variaty as in the other counters.<br/><br/>Overall a good buffet restaurant.
