Tour _uae

Resturant recommenced by my colleague for my wedding anniversary dinner , one day before I visited the restaurant and did booking and also informed the staff that its my wedding anniversary so kindly reserve a table for outside view so we can enjoy our quality time and the table got book from 7 pm to 9 pm , on the day unfortunately i reached 45 mins late but i informed the staff that i will be late but upon reaching i found that my reserved table has been given to someone else and now resturant is full , one of staff asked me to wait for few minutes and after some arrangements they make me sit on the huge table in the corner of the resturant where almost 6-8 person can sit . I was not happy with the place at all so i requested the same lady who did reservation that this is not what i want as its my wedding anniversary and you people ruining it but no one found any solution , alright i came late and you people gave table to someone else but the table was reserved for 2hrs ethically should not be given to someone else <br/>Secondly as a courtesy no one bothered to compensate my unhappiness .. they can come and wish us or can serve desert by saying from our side to make your night lovely or some nice words or anything whereas they did some celebration for some other customers like by singing birthday song..<br/>Very much disappointed from the behavior of management , they were treating us as they did a favor on us by making us sit in the resturant

Had a table reservation at 8:45. Place was very busy. The waiter promised that live band would perform from 9:30, however they didn’t start until 9:45, so I had to complain to the manager. I found weird that all the food I’ve ordered (cold and hot) was served at the same time, so while I was eating appetizers, main course became cold. Quinoa salad and avocado were very good, chicken skewers and trio maiz salad were too sweet. Beef ribs were not ribs at all- it was plate with slices of fat with small layer of meat.

The spicy beef and the short ribs they have, simply melts in your mouth! And not to mention very flavorful. They also have a variety of delicious appetizers like the patatas and the guacamole (so yummy and quite interesting as they prepare it for you on the table)Their seafood, from crabs to calamari to sea-bass was all cooked to perfection 👌🏼Their coffee flavored orange drink (non-alcoholic) is definitely worth a try - but be warned as it’s a little too sweet But best of all was their chocolate dessert served with vanilla icecream, which alone is enough for me to visit the restaurant again. It’s a party in your mouth for all you chocolate lovers out there. The downside however is that the restaurant is way too loud. I understand that they have live music, but the volume could be brought down a few notches. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk and as the night progressed the music just got louder. Despite telling the staff to turn it down a little. When you’re ordering 4-5 courses of meal, sitting down with a group of people, you want to be able to have a conversation which was very difficult. So definitely not somewhere you want to bring your family to have some quality time. We wish we’d left our stroller home - cranky baby all the way!

An amazing place to meet up with friends for drinks with great food, drinks and an even better ambiance. The outdoor seating is highly recommended to truly enjoy the beauty of the landscape,

I had three friends in town who are big foodies/bloggers. I assumed that Coya would be the best bet in regards location, scenery, food/drinks. They wanted a view and although we weren't by the window, the windows were disgusting and you could barely look out. We ordered the following: guacamole, papa y pollo tacos, salmon tacos, trio de maiz salad, bocadillos de wagyu, patata bravas, bife ancho wagyu, ternena a la caja china and two bottles of water (over 1200dhs). We were disappointed that the tacos were the size of three nacho chips. The patata bravas  and the ternena a la caja china (veal ribs) tasted like they were soaked in cooked butter, it was disgusting. We didn't even bother to order dessert because we didn't want to be disappointed since we all have such a big sweet tooth. The trio de maiz salad and the bife ancho wagyu were the only dishes that shined and I would only go back for those dishes IF I go back again.

Tucked next to Zuma and giving it hard run for its money and international fame, COYA easily serves best business lunch in Abu Dhabi. <br/><br/>Food is fresh and well presented. Service is par excellence. Tried Buratta, Maki Rolls Risotto everything was extremely good. <br/><br/>Palate cleansers ( Complimentary ) might be a good idea.

Visited on 4/9/19 and ordered (a) #pollo #alaparrilla (AED 148) at @coyaabudhabi - La Parilla means BBQ grate in Spanish. This Peruvian dish is charcoal-grilled corn fed baby chicken cooked in aji panca (Peruvian red pepper paste) and garnished with coriander. The chicken was well cooked but felt little salty. Overall good taste so my PmP rating is 4*, and (b) #calamares #con #ocopa (AED 54) at @coyaabudhabi - what a great concoction of baby squid, Peruvian marigold and quinoa. It’s a mouth-watering appetizer which I highly recommend to try. Marigold is aromatic herb of Peru which is coriander closest cousin. I loved it so my PmP rating is 4.5*.

An amazing journey into south American food, it exceeded my expectations with its light, vibrant and colourful dishes. Every mouthful tasted fresh and a completely different style of flavours my palette has ever had! The outstanding dish for me were the chicken skewers, I was savouring every bite, you could taste each element of seasoning. dammmmmm I need more!! :)<br/>I would strongly recommend visiting them :)

Following the recommendation of friends, I went there for Iftar with my wife, given the set menu allowed us to taste a wide variety of menu items.  To sum up our experience, it was somewhat disappointing.<br/><br/>The drinks were mediocre (mango & chia seeds was too light, and the flavors of the mandarin & grapefruit juice felt like opposite flavors clashing with a messy result)<br/>The soups were fine, but had an overly smoky flavor<br/>The edamame was excessively oily, almost as if they were deep fried (why the oil?)<br/>The Trio de Maize was literally just corn, but it lacked any flavor (unlike the Corn in a Cup kiosks found in malls) which actually tastes good<br/>The seabass croquette was nice with good lime flavor - nice but nothing spectacular<br/>The grilled forest mushroom was actually nice and unique (thumbs up)<br/>The Wagyu ribs slider was the best thing we had that night (double thumbs up)<br/>The mains were mediocre:<br/>Seabass was nice but again nothing special<br/>The beef ribs were too gamey and we couldn't take more than a bite<br/>The date cake & ice cream dessert was very normal, but not bad<br/><br/>Service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food was a huge let down.  I find it hard to recommend Coya to others as there isn't a single dish that I would crave and find myself urging to go back.  Probably our first and last time, as much as I hoped I would be a regular here.

Wow, this restaurant is the whole package. We experienced the sample menu and it was a great introduction to the flavours and heavenly food Coya serves up. The 10 courses we sampled was far too much food and we struggled to get out of our seats at the end of the meal. Each course was beautifully presented and explained by the knowledgeable waitstaff and you can tell Coya only use the finest of ingredients in their meals.

What an evening at Coya!! Was privileged to be part of their 2 year anniversary Dinner which was accompanied with Live Music, presentable canapes, amazing Champagne and juices and a wonderful cake.<br/><br/>We were truly amazed with the interiors of this cozy restaurant. Just as you enter you will find an array of art by budding artist and it's so lovely to be here. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling.<br/><br/>The view from the restaurant is outstanding and is truly one of the best places in Abu Dhabi to visit.<br/><br/>We had the mouth watering churros, crispy squids and prawn cracker with a delicious dip.<br/><br/>There is a separate seating at the barside of the restaurant, where one can enjoy the live band music and ofcourse have a pleasant time. The bar tenders here are very talented too.<br/><br/>Highly recommended.<br/>Chef is skilled even in pastries and the Anniversary cake was done in-house.<br/><br/>5/5 on Food<br/>5/5 on the Ambience level<br/>5/5 to their skilled and talented staff<br/>5/5 for the perfect location and setup.<br/><br/>Overall 5/5 for the memorable experience..<br/><br/>

Everything I had in COYA was delicious. I ordered the salty truffle and cheese churros, guacamole, burrata, chicken tacos, sea bass risotto, seafood risotto, and corn salad. The dessert was really good as well. Definitely visiting again InshAllah.

I would say, this was by far, the best first New Year brunch i had in my entire life. What an experience! We enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the ambience was great..the band was wonderful. Overall, our experience in Coya is truly remarkable. Thank you Team!!

Had the best lobster risotto ever at this place, the drinks are great loved the cocktails the service is great even on a busy night the outside sitting is really nice
Ahmed Al Hammadi
Best thing about this place is the atmosphere and amazing live music. The food is alright if you order the right thing. Would recommend the beef fillet tenderloin (spicy) for the main and the charcoal grilled Tiger Prawns as starters.

A unique restaurant and bar with an exquisite view where u can have fine dinning and also a drink if you are up to it. I went there for dinner wz friends i but i didnt have the chance to try the main courses but only had a drink wz a desert which i enjoyed.. have to say there way of representing food is catchy and the waiters and the management are professional. Definitely next time i will try more things in z menu and i will visit this place more often coz i believe it will be one of m favorite dinner spots
Meat&potatoes
Great food and bar, staff are incredibly friendly and service is always great, favorite dish is the lobster and pea pot and the truffle snapper entree

A group of 18 of us came for a brunch on a Friday, after hearing mixed reviews from others I can say it was average at best. The food was of good quality but eat before you come as they give you small portions to share less than kids servings and they are slow to serve food and drag out the service, we waited an hour before real food arrived at the table but it was very very limited after waiting nearly an hour between sushi and crackers starters to mains and to be told there was no more food aswell as being shockingly slow with drinks, At times waiting over 30 minutes for a drink. Great venue and staff are friendly but non of us 18 will be venturing back here for a brunch. It goes for a few hours but it's not worth it in comparison to other brunches in Abu Dhabi even the quality of the food which was good but you dont get half of it due to tiny amounts to share with your group and the rest is standard sushi fillers. Drinks Which you feel limited too are slow to be given if at all and contanstly reminding staff due to waiting so long . Great venue, very bad value for money, Very disappointed in coya go elsewhere in Abu Dhabi for a brunch with so many now trying to get a smaller and smaller market there are much better ones worth your money and time.

<br/>The food was really good and the staff was very helpful and friendly when it comes to recommendation. The general experience of the place is great.

Went here today for the brunch. Nice ambiance and location on the water. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. Guacamole and chips were the best dish. The table service however was very disappointing. After being seated we waited 15 minutes with no waiter stopping at our table. I finally had to get up and ask a waiter to come and take our drink order. 20 minutes later we got a drink - are you kidding me? I had to get out of my set to flag a waiter 2 more times which was annoying. Drink refills took another 20+ minutes. I ordered coffee to drink with the desserts bit of course I was LONG finished with dessert before the coffee showed up. At the buffet sections (starters and deserts) the staff was helpful. Waiters seemed overwhelmed. Fun to try but I will not return.

Great Peruvian food, but portions aren’t great for the hefty price you’re paying. Good desserts too! And the service is amazing! And the vibes are fantastic. Drinks selections are so many and all in all good!

True to it's name..this restaurant offers some creative contemporary Peruvian cuisine and healthy options as well. The place is vibrant with live music and you feel the energy the moment you enter the restaurant. Enjoyed having some healthy salads and all Vegetarian! Liked the menu overall as the combinations were awesome bringing the flavour very well. Certainly not bland or spicy but provides the original flavour of the ingredients! Highly recommended.<br/>

The place is the only good thing about this restaurant. But the bad things are countless. Where do I start? When I entered with my bottle of water it was taken away from me! Saying it’s the policy to not bring water inside!!! ALL restaurants in the UAE allow that EXCEPT for Coya? The waiter was really rude, even my sister noticed who been to the restaurant before, it was visible how rude he was pressuring us to order more food even if we don’t want and made our choices. The restroom was dirty; for a high-end restaurant the least they can do is clean their toilets. And the food? Very small portions and unreasonably expensive. The salad section has portions not even enough for one person. It’s a shame I’ve tried Peruvian restaurants elsewhere but coya was a real disappointment. I told all my family about what an unpleasant experience it was yesterday and I’m never visiting again for sure. I hope the restaurant works on these weak points because it is not Al Maryah standards nor Abu Dhabi’s.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the whole city. You have to experience the atmosphere on the terrace, watching the sunset with the fans turning slowly over your head. I would consider it one of the best places for an afterwork drink (LOVED their cocktails), however be prepared that you won‘t even get nuts with your drinks. Especially after work when people are hungry, there should be some options that can be ordered before the kitchen opens. Therefore only 3.5/5.
Alia
Excellent service amazing food. The atmosphere and music perfect, I didn't realize that I spent almost 3 hours till they ask us if we want to have tea or coffee. <br/>They have valet service . I love the food we ordered. I recommend this place to celebrate special occasion.

Great place, polite staff, spicy beef is way worth trying! A bit pricey but for this kind of food it’s understandable. Definitely gonna pay them a visit once again.

Nice location and good ambience.<br/>They have good options in the menu too. Ordered for the avocado sushi and beef ribs along with some vegetarian appetisers.<br/>The food was good but did not leave a mark, nothing very catchy and easily forgetful.<br/>The waiting service got a bit over friendly, they were constantly at our table which did not give a lot privacy and got a little overbearing after a while.<br/>Overall experience was nice but nothing extraordinary.
SE LIN
Came for dinner and it was a great experience. The service was impressive, our waitress knew the menu inside out and when we explained our favorite tastes, preferences and things to avoid she geared us through the menu smoothly. Our favorite was the soft shell taco (we ordered one right after the other) and the tuna ceviche. Although all the dishes were enjoyable, there were 2 that could be better which were the potato side.. dry and a little tasteless despite the dressing and the squid calamari wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. <br/>Definitely worth a visit!

FoodSnobbery
Had to revise the rating down after my second business lunch here. It’s definitely good value for money. But both times I ordered the Lomo de res (spicy beef) and both times it was as good as the steaks you would expect at ‘Chilis’. The first day we ordered medium and it was over cooked and tough. The second time we ordered medium rare and it was over cooked and tough as leather. Realised it’s not so much the cooking as the quality of the meat. Everything else was ok and service was good. Very sad. <br/><br/>Original review - The atmosphere was quite nice. All the staff were welcoming with the usual snootiness of this type of venue. The food was a bit hit and miss. But when you did hit it was absolutely out of the park. Let’s start with the misses. The soft shell crab tacos and salmon tacos were very average. Had to ask for a slice of lime to add some flavour kick to these bland tacos. The tiger prawn skewers were hugely disappointing. The lamb chops, the beef ribs and the Patata bravas were just about ok. <br/><br/>The good guys were... guacamole prepared at your table was exceptional. The selection of mixed ceviches was excellent. The veal heart was great. But the Lomo de Res (spicy beef) was just out of this world. In fact we ordered a second portion of this dish. The beef was probably the best I’ve ever had and I don’t say this lightly. <br/><br/>Found the waiter and the sommelier a bit pushy in their suggestions which were always the most expensive item on the menu or an item that didn’t have the price. If it happens once you let it slide, but it seemed like a pattern and they were quite pushy. Nice but pushy. <br/><br/>Would go again just to have some Lomo de Res.
Le Petit Èpicure
Absolutely fantastic!!!!! 5 out of 5 <br/><br/>Wonderful decore, views, ambience, staff, music, food, deserts, cocktails you name it! They got it all.... <br/>If you looking for a great night out, don't think it twice, just make your booking ahead of time. As it's pretty crowded. No wonder why! <br/><br/>Very well trained staff, profesional and updated with their products!!!! From drinks to food, they sure know what they serve you, and they sure take pride in letting you know. <br/><br/>We did enjoy a testing menu, for which is hard for me to give any recommendations as it was atleast 6 diferente ceviches, if not more, from which we enjoyed every single bite of each of them. To start with. There was a fruity tuna one... that sure is to die for! But really all where good, some spicy, other garlicky, lemony, and other with a touch of ginger and soya, truffles... indeed an explosion of flavors, all very tasty. <br/><br/>For the main course I definitely fall for a Sea Bass, if am not mistaken, that came with a smoky, limey risotto, a must try!!! Damn it was good!!! Recommended! Then we got some Wagyu Ribeye with Chimichurri made to perfection. And some Lamb chops! Can't but say it all was delectable!!! <br/><br/>And let's not talk about their spectacular desserts that came on a huge plater in a claud of dry ice smoke. Divine!! And never the less delicious. <br/><br/>You just got to try it by yourself and am pretty sure u will agree with me! It's Fabulous!!! <br/><br/>

The location: Galleria on Maryah Island, nestled within the four Seasons… to die for, number one. The decor: vibrant, chic, and at the same time splendidly elegant – to die for II. Now, I don’t know what you’re looking for in a Business Lunch. Perhaps it’s a fun nibble-chit-and-chat with colleagues; or maybe you’re entertaining a high-profile client; or it could be time to seal the deal between two delegations – whatever it is, Coya has you covered.

Delicious Latin American food, Peruvian flavors. <br/>Small portions. Pricy! <br/>I tried sea bass ceviche, quinoa salad, edamame, grilled skewers, steak with chimichuri. <br/>For group order the desserts plater. <br/>

Had a special dinner with my fiends, Ambiance was great very energetic, it was my second time at Coya but the first at Coya Abudhabi, waiter was friendly and helpful with our order, he made sure that we order the right dishes, The food was out of this world, we've ordered Edamame, Pargo a la trufa ( Red Snipper with Truflles Ceviche ), Ensalada De Quinoua ( Qunioa Salad), Tiger prawn and beef skewer, Sea bass Risotto, and wagyu beef tataki. <br/>The food was delicious and satisfying, everything was good for sharing.. Highly recommended
Sonam
Uber impressed with Coya for not only the brilliant ambience, but also their tasteful cocktails! The service here, is also, on point. Initially, when I was contemplating between my drinks, the bartender asked me what I prefer and put together something so interesting and flavorful, which was actually not on their menu. We also tried one of their Chicken Kebabs that was pretty decent. This place is definitely worth more than just 1 visit, however, it can be a little heavy on the pocket :P
AMZ
The place is nice. The environment is cool. Staff is friendly. The food i nice too. I only liked the sirloin wagyuo steak. It was delicious. I had BRB as a drink it was nice.

Mediocre, overpriced (though distinct) food with needy, inattentive service. Honestly, I just feel a little robbed. I've never spent this much on such small portions of okay food in Abu Dhabi. Lived here for five years, even... I hardly ever write reviews, but feel it is a public service to ensure people get an honest review of the place.<br/><br/>I will give it the following pros. Good atmosphere. They had live latin music and some people dancing out there that were fun to look at. It did have a cool latin vibe that made me reminisce of days in Latin America. Really... it was an okay night for that reason. My friends and I could remember the days when... And, I think that is the point. The clientele is for latinos to remember when... for a price.<br/><br/>Yet, save your money. It isn't worth it. Order delivery Cantina Laredo, get some margarita mix (or keep it classical) and get some quality tequila, put on some of your favorite salsa, and invite friends to your place.

Food is amazing, ambiance as well , staff is friendly specially tania( she made our day ) , restaurant area so noisy on my next visit will be in bar area ,

The decor and ambience was great, I give that a 5 star. Empanadas was sweet and savory and also had a spicy kick to it. The octopus in the mashed potatoes was pretty good too, mashed potatoes was creamy and flavorful and octopus wasn't too chewy. The salted popcorn and sweet corn ice cream was the star of my evening, the perfect dessert. I paired my entire meal with an Argentinian Pinot noir, which was too light and didn't marry well with this cuisine, a whiskey or a stronger wine with more body and structure would have been a better choice. The restaurant crew were extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to explore new cuisines or just want to have a nice romantic evening and a good meal.

Being at an Iftar every single night during Ramadan is tiring. And most Iftars don't have anything different (maybe the occasional dessert menu change). But apart from that, it's all the same. However Coya was a different experience. The set menu called for a very unapologetic start and it was an experience that I recommend to everyone.. <br/>We obviously start with dates and water. They give you a choice of soups - it can vary from a simple bean soup (Peruvian style of course), pumpkin soup or your non veg fix. We went for the Peruvian bean soup. The soup is accompanied by the most yummiest Edamame and Guacamole. Up next is the Trio salad - which was the corn salad, spinach and quinoa salad. Three very heavy dishes. We were almost full by then. Little did we know we were just getting started!<br/>The appetizers were rolled in next - Maki roll (avocado, mushroom and cucumber)!, Cause design Beetroot (which was mashed potato in beetroot juice topped with goat cheese). All dishes were one better than the other. We tried to space it out in between but the food just coming. Up next was the selection of anticuchos (the grilled mushrooms, chicken and meat). Frankly that wasn't up to the expectation. Either we were too full or the rest of the food had set such high expectations that we couldn't appreciate them. <br/>It was time for the main course. Simple Salmon fillet and chicken were our choices. All this was topped off by the most yummiest sticky toffee date cake with camel icecream. After all the options, the choice of dessert might seem odd especially the fact that we do not seem to have many options. But trust me, the simplicity and burst of flavors of that dessert was the perfect end to a lovely Iftar. <br/>Absolutely stunning menu selection. Great food, amazingly friendly staff and the most loveliest ambience. Highly recommended!<br/>

quite different frm coya in dubai in sense of the atmostphere, its way more relax and quite which is a plus point.<br/><br/>the food is just as good so as the service.<br/>i would definitely come back to coya in AD :)

Fantastic night at Coya last night. <br/><br/>Date night with my girl friend. We chose the tasting menu (490 each) which was a complete walk-through of Coya's cuisine. <br/><br/>The Food <br/>Generosity: 10/10 (It was degustation, we were stuffed at the end of it)<br/><br/>Quality: 9/10 Very very good.<br/><br/>Presentation: 10/10 this restaurant has a very unique offering with its peruvian cuisine. The plating of food, the drinks, glasses - all were very different, unique and special. A lot of thought went into this.  <br/><br/>The Service<br/>Host: Very welcoming, attentive, gave a tour<br/><br/>Manager: Welcoming, engaging, spent time, was entertaining and worldly<br/><br/>Waiter: Knowledge and recommendations excellent. Charismatic, elegant and on-point<br/><br/>Bar man: An expert in his craft. This place does cocktails very well. <br/><br/>The Ambience<br/>The sheer degree of interior decorating, themes and attention to detail is something you simply must see for yourself. <br/><br/>The Price<br/>It is expensive but you do get what you pay for. Coya has an offering that leaves most restaurants in the dark.<br/><br/>Total Bill: 1510 including the two tasting menus and a bucket load of cocktails. <br/>Excellent night.

I must say, this might be my favorite restaurant in the capital!! I was invited with a bunch of my friends and it was truly one heck of an experience. I couldn't find any fault in anything, from the mesmerizing decor, the incredible service and the decadent food!! Truly everything I ate from the ceviches, the salads, the mains and the dessert was top notch. The ambience is just right with the band playing and the beautiful scenery of the galleria. I can't wait to go back and savour the delicious food & indulge in the experience.<br/>What I remember that stood out was the tuna ceviche, the salmon ceviche, the beef cooked, the corn salad & so many I can't recall.

Enchanting Peruvian experience in Abu Dhabi.<br/><br/>I have tried COYA and Abu Dhabi. Both offer an exceptional culinary experience but Abu Dhabi branch has a wonderful view and is more Cosy as setting.<br/>The Chilean Seabass with Risotto is not to miss ! As for drinks my favorite is Pisco Sour, a Peruvian specialty <br/><br/>An absolutely MUST TRY !
The Culinaric Adventurer
We went for brunch with great expectations based on the buzz around this newcomer to the Abu Dhabi restaurant scene. Unfortunately they weren't met, which is a shame especially against the background of the above average prices. <br/><br/>The ambiance: is very nice, the restaurant feels cosy, with comfortable  leather sofas, supplemented by brightly colored pillows in peruvian style. <br/><br/>The food: Actually underwhelming. The ceviche were decent, but not more, other starters were ok.<br/>Then the signature dish: Arroz Nikkei. The fish was nicely done, the rice with lime and chilli however was a bit bland, no resemblance to the "taste explosion" which was reported in other reviews in the net.  The Lomo de Res was cooked well and was soft but still with the necessary texture. <br/>Desserts were good. <br/><br/>The service: Friendly and helpful, but unfortunately: Slow. Drinks orders took considerable time to arrive, sometimes to the extent that we already had forgotten about them when they arrived. <br/><br/>Overall I think Coya has still some catching up to do, on the food as well as on the service front. While there are brunches in the city were I can't wait to return sooner rather than later, Coya is not that kind of place at the moment.  Over time it may become one of these.

Coya is the latest and probably nicest addition to Abu Dhabi. I have been both to their Friday Brunch and Tuesday live music night and it was my first Peruvian food experience. Not only the food was delicious, but the service of Coya team in Abu Dhabi is simply beyond impeccable. In this specific review, I won't talk about food that will certainly tingle your taste buds, I'd rather mention the friendly stuff who strive to deliver an amazing experience for their guests with an amazingly friendly attitude. You have to experience that!

Tucked away on the north side of the Galleria Mall on Maryah Island, next to the Four Seasons, Coya has almost a hidden entrance. As if you are ducking into the secret remains of the Inca ruins, well with a red carpet and valet.  The moment you walk in the door Coya makes you feel comfortable. You feel like you have entered a beautiful Peruvian home.  Colorful bright pillows on wrought iron chairs, lots of greenery, hanging plants, and dark wooden tables.

Coya Abu Dhabi's ambience is lovely, the staff are very helpful and friendly. My expectation towards their food was high and for someone who have tried Peruvian food before, you'll find the food tasteless. I'm not sure if thats only in the Abu Dhabi branch or all others are like that too. I heard so many good reviews about the others but not so much on this one. <br/><br/>If you were to order Guacamole, ask them to add more of the sour sauce.

I have been trying to visit the restaurant in Dubai since the time I came to AUH but it never seemed possible! But all good things are worth the wait, when finally a branch opened in Abu Dhabi. This being my first experience in Peruvian Food, I am no expert about the flavour but I wouldn't make a single complaint about any of the dishes that were served! <br/>The baby calamari and fresh guacamole infused wib Peruvian chilly made such great starters! The prawn skewers were rich in flavor and I wanted to order more, but refrained as the main course was yet to arrive! The lobster risotto (using layman terms) was blissful and so was the beef steak. For the sides we had the spicy potatoes and I would give full rating for the all the dishes! Just a note to the restaurant though, the dishes were just 2-3 minutes apart which did not give us much time to enjoy the flavours of each dish. Just relax a bit on the service and don't be in such a hurry, we're here to enjoy anyway! <br/>But the ambience and the food made for a lovely evening. Thank you coya!

One of my favorite Peruvian restaurants Coya .. something to look forward to in London or Dubai but not Abudhabi <br/>Despite the lovely location at the Galleria , when visiting Coya Abudhabi you'll have to pass by the noisy full of air pollution bar to get to your table not a pleasant experience <br/>The waiter was too friendly, it was annoying ... we didn't get a drink menu as he thought he new what's best for us <br/>He then recommended the Burrata !! Yes Burrata at a Peruvian restaurant sounded wired and tasted weirder with grapes and some kind of seed.<br/>We were then served our main before the salads ... the flavors were not as good<br/>And finally when the star dish arrived .. the salmon ceviche ... it was not the ceviche but something else then the restaurant employee tried to convince us that the dish is yes not the famous ceviche but very close to it <br/>And that we should give it a try 😳<br/>We then came to know that she was the manager <br/>So strange...so unexpected from Coya and so disappointing <br/>To make it up to us they offered us 3 desserts which were nice but they then made us pay for them 😂<br/>I will still highly recommend Coya just not the one in Abudhabi

Showed up at 12 to meet some friends<br/>Was shocked to find that the doors are locked <br/>Bouncer said that they were "full" and that "the manager has asked for them to lock the doors."<br/><br/>I'm at a loss for words...<br/><br/>First time here and I'm not impressed.<br/><br/>FYI a lot of ppl had walked out as we spoke to the bouncer.<br/><br/>Must have been a great night.<br/>

There’s nothing quite like a business lunch to provide a taster of what a restaurant is like, without having to spend astronomical amounts of money in the process. Rarely publicized, business lunches in Abu Dhabi not only offer excellent value for money but the opportunity to sample an establishments signature dishes before deciding if you want to return.

We visited Coya last night for the first time and it was truly a great experience. At first there was a slight hiccup with the booking - we reserved an outdoor table but were initially seated indoors. That was sorted out within 10 mins. <br/>From then on the service was impeccable and the food was some of the best we have ever had! For starters we ordered the guacamole, edamame, tuna ceviche, tiger prawns and beef skewers. All were really good especially the tuna ceviche!!<br/>For our mains, we got the lamb chops, the sea bass iron pot and the potatoes mushroom iron pot. The highlight was the sea bass! It was so good that we ordered another! We finished off with coconut and praline mousse. They were good but we enjoyed our mains better. We expected to leave with a burn in our pockets but we're pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced everything was! Will for sure visit again.
