Traditions of Italian cuisine, Villa Toscana unites regional specialties from Tuscany, Umbria, and Emilia-Romagna with a curated selection of Italian wines and evocative décor reminiscent of a noble villa in the Tuscan countryside. its was the best Brunch ive tried. the food is Delicious, Drinks are refreshing. i really enjoyed the Sea Bass and Dessert are overflowing. i love everything ive tried.
Fantastic food, amazing ambience and music. I also have to thank manish for the recommendation of food, and the rest of the staff for the hospitality. will definitely go there again.

5 stars based on our experience at the Villa Toscana authentic Italian restaurant in St. Regis Hotel Abu Dhabi. We enjoyed the great ambience and the amazing music at the restaurant as we dined with our family over the weekend. On arrival we opted to sit inside and In a few minutes were approched by the staff who assisted us in placing our order. While we were waiting for our starters we were served with a complimentary bread basket with some tasty dips that kept us occupied with until our starters arrived.The starters was the Fritto misto do calamiri which had crispy and fried calamiri, prawns and seasonal vegetables accompanied with the Tartare sauce that blended well as a dip. We were given the chance to taste a soup as a chefs compliment. A drink which was made of pear and orange was provided which was very refreshing . Our mains were served on the table within the time promised and was authentic in flavour, the amount of cheese and filling in the pizza was great and just right. Both our pizza choices (Pizzone and Pizza del Contadino) were great and tasty. The dessert was favourite .... I love the presentation of the Villa Toscana' s most popular Magnum Tiramisu icecream ... on a bed of freshly cut fruits our Ice creams were placed upside down with sticks sitting upright and we loved it.. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on what they serve.. This is our second time at Villa Toscana and we will definately be back once again.

Charming and beautiful decor and ambiance. Great outdoor seating weather permitting. Food is average. Nothing outstanding. My starter (grilled tuna) was bland with no taste. My main (rib eye) was ok. Service was poor. I ordered sides (asparagus) which never came, I asked for broccoli and the waiter said he will check. He didn’t and forgot to bring it. The waiter had no info on the items and could not help what to order. Water finished and the bottle was removed without asking if we needed more water. That said, I have to admit that the restaurant manager (I think his name was Palmieri) was extremely helpful and pleasant.
Enjoyed some good food and good views at this place. Outdoor seating is better than the indoor for sure! The staff is helpful and gives suggestions. We had a soup of the day, prawn starters, eggplant starter - all suggested by the staff. The baby pressed chicken was a delicious main course with pasta being very well done and tasty too. Worth a visit for authentic Italian flavours.
The food was very nice, the service was exceptional. Great place I recommend for a tea Italian food experience. The portions are big and filling. The tiramisu was my fav, light and airy. Very very good standard
The place design is beautiful and cozy, the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The wine is well balanced and delicious, however the food and the bread they serve you at first are not anywhere near impressive, I had pasta and it felt like it was over cooked and chewy, I’d go again but probably won’t eat.
Simply said, this is top notch Italian restaurant. Absolutely loved it. The service, the setting, the food and the whole experience were sensational.

Great Italian restaurant! The design of the restaurant, atmosphere, staff and food are great. The pastas are very tasty, home-made penne, great flavors, they made us a special drink which was also very nice. All in all, a great experience and we will definitely come back!!
Very nice antipasti buffet with main course offering..it was a business lunch and the 4 people within our group thoroughly enjoyed the offering...special thanks to the Italian chef for the sumptuous special done cheese sticks -a speciality from Sicily I believe...ambience and service complimented the food very well indeed...kudos to VT...Beuno Appetito!
this is the best restaurant I have ever stayed in Abu Dhabi. The staff is very welcoming (Giuseppe we will not forget you) the brunch on saturday is succulent.

I really have no words to describe this place expect for a piece of Italian Toscana heaven on Earth.
The stuff are so friendly and so accommodating with exceptional attention to details. They added to the ambience as well.
For the main courses we had: the tenderloin, rib eye , baby chicken and made to order pasta.
All came to almost perfection.
Later for dessert we were recommended to have a Hazelnut cake which I was reluctant to have because I hate hazelnut. The dessert was so indulging and it was topped off with a Carmel.
Would really recommend this place if you want to have an enjoyable culinary experience.
We visited villa toscana last january for a date. The ambiance and place is amazing. The food is good. It is as if you are eating in italy.
The prices however are a bit expensive especially if you want to get some wines.
Beautiful restaurant, great service and good food!! First time I went there I ate a gnocchi with walnuts sauce with cheese and some figs sauce, and its was divine (they had changed the menu. It’s not there anymore)!! The other time I ate some pasta (I didn’t remember exactly the plate) but I was disappointed. The third time I had the parmigiana eggplant and was delicious. The dessert was sooo nice and they have an amazing sparkling wine. On my birthday they gave me a piece of cake!
They also serve a small soup before the food and is always very tasty and fresh!

Excellent food and great service. We celebrated a friend's birthday and the team was so sweet and arranged for quite a lot of complimentary stuff. We definately recommend the cod for mains and the calamari for the appetizers, both to die for.
Giuseppe, the manager, is amazing. He makes you feel at home. He is friendly, and makes sure the service is impeccable. He always welcomes you back with a friendly smile and extra dessert. I am a regular here.

Amazing food and impeccable service. Staff had good knowledge to recommend best wine complimenting the delicious menu on offer. Advise to book your tables before landing up there as the place has a very high footfall and even on weekends the place is full of Italian food lovers.
Amazing place for a fine dine Italian experience. Loved the food, the wine collection and most of all the desserts. The decor is classy yet understated but it was really appealing and in sync with the overall aesthetics of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Absolute amazing service. What a beautiful team, service was excellent and they truly went out of their way to create a spectacular proposal! The chef and his team created delicious dishes! We had seabass bursting with flavor, tender veal chops and mouthwatering burrata salad. Definitely a must for great service, amazing food and a wonderful evening out!
What can I say about this place that isn't good? Simply nothing! If you are looking for a beautiful restaurant with great and authentic italian food and extremely experienced waiters that's the address! Giving it a well-deserved 5/5.

We stayed in St. Regis for the long weekend and tried Villa Toscana one night and it was delightful. They made our dinner perfect - Ivan took charge and paired my truffle risotto and my husbands slow cooked lamb pasta with great wine. He indeed is an asset! Food was great - compliments to the Chef! They got two very nice offers one for 65aed pantipasti buffet with dessert buffet or the 85aed antipasti buffet with a main course from de lunch menu and dessert buffet
Indeed value for money never the less very fresh and appetizing choices of antipasti which includes of Soup of the day, freshly backed breads, focaccias, Italian Hallal cold cuts, assortment of different salads, pasta salad, octopus, chicken, quinoa, mixed greens, cabbage...and option to build up your own, with sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, capris and the usual stuff with diferente dressings on the side. Few canapés, some nice “breads/pastries” stuffed with cheese and ham, or mushrooms and veggies... and something else which I can’t remember. Then there was a grilled/oven-baked Salmon with some roasted veggies.
There was also a cheese section with grapes and nuts to pair with.
Then the main course menu, for those that opte for one... (keep in mind menu and buffet items change on daily bases, so no one gets boarded of the same food,so what ever I had might not be available tomorrow)
On today’s menu I went for the lamb chops and they sure where made to perfection. Juice and tender!!
And last but not least they got a beautiful ”little” dessert section! With a bit of small lill diferente Italian cakes! For the more healthy ones there was fresh fruit cuts available too!! And a spectacular tiramisu!!!
Sure worth of giving it a try when in a hurry for lunch, or in a big group or just for fun. Sure has something for all taste buds out there.
And last but not least their pizzas must be one of the best ones in town! Thin crust, crispy borders and FRESH mozzarella!!! Omg!! Sooo good!

It was date night and we decided Italian. After doing some research, I made a reservation at Villa Toscana, a restaurant we hadn’t tried before. We self parked at the hotel’s basement parking and took the elevator to the 1 floor. The restaurant sits next to the Crystal Lounge. We opted to sit outside as the weather is lovely. When we arrived there were 2 tables that were taken. By the time we left, all tables outside we taken and most of the diners were Italian! Further proof that the food is really good.
As antipasti we ordered the Spicy King Shrimp and this dish was simple yet flavourful. The chilli flakes and spicy olive oil complemented the fresh shrimp.
Our Primi ‘mains’ were Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli and Grilled Lamb Rack served with veggies and mashed potato. While the lamb was tender and juicy, the Ravioli was delish and our favorite of the two.
To end we opted for the Mantovana Torte with Figs and Marsala. We had to wait over 25 mins for the dessert (maybe because by then every table was taken and the kitchen had many orders). To make it up to us, we got a complimentary Berry Gelato which was creamy and delicious. My DH liked the Gelati more than the cake.
The simple flavors won us over and this was one of the best Italian meals we had had in a long time.
We were taken away by the splendid service, quality, ambia7ence and taste of food. Honestly everything was to die for. We had the Gnochitti, 4 cheese penne which comes in a Parmesan bowl & the amazing veal Milanese. Ended it with the Ricotta Cheescake recommended by the waiter and all we can say is WOW.
Loved the food, amazing service and very friendly staff. Got served complimentary dessert by the chef, which was well appreciated. Definitely going back a second time.

Had a wonderful dining experience right from the escort to the caretaker pampering us at every step speaking so sweetly and serving is with the chefs bread delicacies along with various dips like beetroot, pumpkin dip and the sundried tomato dip were nice. Simple subtle flavours that tickle the taste buds. The gnocchi serve with the melting cheese pot is an out of the world experience ( the taste was better during my previous visit though ). The icing on the cake was the wonderful mascarpone infested tiramisu..... so soft smooth that melted away inside my mouth. .......a total wonderful tuscany experience comes alive. Would have loved a little more quantity of the gnocchi

Yesterday, we we’re hunting for a great dining place with sea view. So we head along to Corniche area and we ended up at Villa Toscana in St. Regis Hotel .
We we’re in awe as it is our first time here. The music, the atmosphere; it really would be great to sit outside if it’s really not that hot. Nevertheless, we sit at the window side.
Staffs are very warm and helpful by recommending us yummy treat. You can opt for Buffet or Ala Carte but we want pizza so we choose Ala Carte.
• Pizza Allo Scoglio – It’s like a seafood haven. What I love it is the crispy crust and the seafoods are fresh. It has Mozarella, Pomodoro, scampi, gamberi,cozze, calamari and capesante.
• Penne Four Cheese in a Bowl - It is overflowing with cheese. I felt like a kid when they’re mixing it in front of me. It reminds me of Baked Cheese & Mac, with added Bread Crumbs on top.
If you're a Cheese addict, you can also ask for more cheeesseeeee... hahaha
• Green Apple and Orange Juice – seems fresh and I love greens.
I’d love to explore more of their menu after sometime. It was a lovely place and we look forward to coming back soon.

Simply wooow!!!!
Went for a friend birthday dinner last night and so amazed!
First you step there you feel the difference and the so classy beautiful atmosphere with simplicity.
The staff are so friendly nice and welcoming.
Decoration as the wall paints takes you to the greenery of Tuscany.
Nice music and lighting of the place is so good.
We had carne beeg carapacio and Caprese both were so deleciouse and presentation is so beautiful.
We've been served some cheak pees soup and bruscheta as complementary and both tasted so good.
Then we had the four cheases penne which served in the parmegan chease block that tasted so yummy and had these cheases special flavor.
Then we had this ravioli stuffed with fine artichoke and truffle this dish we enjoyed so much.
We also had a margerita pizza and as a desert we had their.very special tiramissu which served as ice cream.
Off course one very sognificant to mention is that service at the restaurant is more than excellent.
Over all this plqce is one of best destination for italian.. Will definetly go there again.

I've heared a lot about this italian restaurant, so when I had the opportunity to try it in a business lunch perhaps my expectations were not met. I was assuming it would be a great one, but it end up being a experience similar to any buffet in an italian restaurant in a hotel, ok, nothing great, nothing blew my mind. In addition we were served things that really didnt belong at all with the food such as mutable, hommous, fatoush...I'm mean I understand you guys want to blend with local culture, but if you praise yourself to run one of the best Italian places in town, just keep it like that.
THe pizzas were below average, the pasta was very good, and the meat was average as well.
I hope the experience is 100% better for dinner.
On the positive note, the place is cozy and quite nice with a nice terrace.
Am in love with this place the food is amazing from appetizers to main dish including the drinks and the atmosphere is stunning you really feel just like sitting in your dinning room the staff is nice as well and the best part is that it is not expensive due to the fact that it is in St regeis hotel I expected it to be more but it was not so definitely am coming back.
Exceptional Saturday brunch with truly amazing specialty dishes served directly to your table and not prepared in advance and sitting for hours on the buffet. The interior of this relatively small and cozy restaurant reminds you of a Toscana setting. Great experience all around
The beds Italian restaurant in Abu Dhabi that everyone should have in their to go list. Excellent Saturday brunch...the bad thing is find space in the stomach to have all the great food. I have there several times and I will back back many more!

Visited Villa Toscana for the Saturday Tuscan Brunch and was blown away by the food, ambience and the service provided by the staff !
The few dishes that stood out were the Ravioli Allo Stracotto (homemade ravioli stuffed with braised beef shoulder) , the saffron risotto, Tagliata di manzo alla griglia con rucola e scaglie di grams (marinated beef rib eye, thinly sliced , topped with arugula salad and shaved Parmesan cheese) and last but not the least the Panna Cotta and the Tiramisu were simply beautiful !
This place serves up some authentic Italian food that's worth every penny !

Went for lunch with family to Villa Toscana. Right from reservations till the end of the meal, everything was on point. Service was impeccable, with the right amount of privacy and all our requests catered to. And the food was just amazing. Though all were equally good, the spicy prawns entree, chocolate fondant and the cheesecake were my favorites. We were even given complimentary pizza! Would definitely go there again!

Yes, it's amore, just like the old song said. Love at first bite, mama mia! And all the other romantic and Italian cliches you can think of. All good ones, of course.
Silliness aside, Villa Toscana really lives up to the ratings that other reviewers have given it. I was at St. Regis on the Corniche recently with hubby who was attending a dermatology conference, and we were all served lunch afterwards at Villa Toscana. It was altogether a delightful affair for us as we both lean more towards vegetables, and the menu that afternoon was a wonderful array of refreshing salads, with pastas and freshly baked breads to make my doughboy hubby happy! While we dined on those, waiters, attentive but not obtrusive, would turn up with freshly grilled chicken or pizza, asking if we wanted those. All this in an elegant setting, and oh yes, that terrace overlooking the Corniche would set hearts aflutter. A most charming experience all in all.

Amazing Italian cuisine; I decided to visit this place based on zomato users rating and feedback, and to be honest our visit exceeded our expectations.
Even though I have no Italian roots; I could feel and taste the authenticity of their offerings. Not only that, their staff hospitality and service was outstanding.
In fact; if I could rate this place more than 5, I can comfortably say that I would do it without hesitation.

طلبت منهم سلطة الخضر فقط لاغير بدون اي إضافات مثل الجبن و طلعت ممتازه جدا و طلبت سمك سالمون مطبوخ بالبخار و كانت لذيذه و اللي تحت السالمون بطاطس مهروسه طعهما بعد روعه !

The view from this restaurant is breathtaking. Had been to villa toscana for a lunch and boy! did we njoi. From the starters to the main course to the dessert, the flavours were authentic italian flavour. The waiter had recommended a rosè which also added to the our lovely friday lunch . Would deinately visit villa toscana very soon again.
Abu Dhabi's most overpriced Italian restaurant. I tried most of the dishes and most of the simple dishes were overpriced and tasteless. I only enjoyed 3 items from the menu which in my opinion will be the only reason I go back there to have. One of these dishes was the squid ink lobster ravioli, certainly a signature dish that's worth having from the menu. Another you can try is the burrrata cheese.
I also noticed that if you are a big group they add charges of dishes that you did not order in the final bill, so make sure to check the bill before you pay.
I booked an outdoor table for my fiance's birthday & everything i had mentioned to them was done perfectly. I was very happy with their service; their waiter Simone was very helpful and gracious with recommending dishes & making sure we're happy with everything. We had a soup from the chef first (delicious) then we ordered burata which was lovely. The risotto was one of the best ive tried & their portions are not small as other restaurants. I would go again for sure!

A slight deviation from the typical Italian that we are all used to (they don't have lasagne on the menu!!!). We were greeted by the most hospitable and amiable staff, and the service was brilliant.
We started off with the crispy bread and dip. We orderd a Burrata salad which was divine, by all means. The tomato salad and pesto sauce that were underneath the cheese were beyond delicious. They served us complimentary green pea soup, and in fact, the chef himself served us his complimentary bruschetta (I must say: mammma mia)which we considered to be a very friendly gesture. For main courses, we ordered the four cheese pasta which was delivered to us in a Parmesan wheel where the cheese was scraped off and mixed with the pasta. The waitress was friendly enough to add some chicken breast to our order as it was not included on the menu. We also ordered the papardelle pasta with lamb ragout and sprinkled with some cocoa powder, which was recommended by our waitress and the floor manager. The verdict? It was a little too gamey for my liking. Value for money is fair.
All in all, it was one good meal with even better company.

Everything about Villa Toscana is classically enrapturing. It kind of takes you to another time with its warm feeling emanating throughout the restaurant. We were assisted to our table which I reserved in advance. Though, safe to say for a Friday night it wasn't that crowded. I decided to order a glass of wine; which was 60 bucks a glass for something below mediocre. Ok, so bad wine choice. But everything quickly turned around when we were offered a delicious bread basket and various dips. Such clear, beautiful flavors in those 3 dips; including a sun-dried tomato paste and the like. Please do try the focaccia. The waiter Simone was charming and willing to suggest several things off the menu. We picked the spicy shrimp which had a tinge of hotness for my palate sitting in a plate of sinful olive oil. It tasted like...well, Tuscany. For dinner, my partner picked the chitarucci pasta which he enjoyed thoroughly, while I wolfed down my rack of lamb with rosemary and mint. Was it the best lamb rack I've ever had? No, but it was pretty good. Kudos to them for remembering and celebrating my partner's birthday. We emerged more than happy with our meals.
This place was excellent. Most easily one of the best places for Italian I've had in the UAE yet.

We had the fresh burrata for starters and the Florentine T-bone steak. First of all, let me warn you that the steak if huge so try your best (no matter how amazing the place smells) to not go overboard on the appetisers because you will regret not having two stomachs to eat it all. Unfortunately for us, that by the time we were done eating, we couldn't possibly have dessert. In retrospect and now that the food is done and gone, I wish I would have had the dessert :)
A highly, highly recommended place to have dinner in Abu Dhabi. Cannot wait to go back!

I do eat there from time to time but today the service is slower than always
I ordered for starters buffalo caprisi and fried calamari and shrimps
Main courses were seafood risotto and saffron risotto
And last was the traditional Italian drink give it a try it's great
Very good Italian food and even better customer service. Greatly enjoyed my lunch there. Staff was very polite and professional at all times. Would definitely recommend it.
Befinning was ok-ish. Forgot lemon for the water, no bread on the table ans took 15 minutes to have a glass of wine. I was hoping that with italians working here i can jusr say "i want a pasta, have the chef surprise me" but that surprised them i think. However, food is good and made of fresh ingredients. Wine per glass is nice as well so definitely worth it to try it out.
You cant go wrong with Italian food, the chef was very attentive to our every need. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and thats always a good sign. We were a table of 8 so almost everything on the menu was ordered and was wonderful. Enjoyable experience!

Would-a you like-a me to make-a you some pasta? With those deliciously accented words Chef Rosario turned what had till then been an oh-hum lunch at yet another boutique Italian restaurant, into an absolutely Mamma-Mia experience.
Villa Toscana seems deliberately dressed down, rustic even. Not difficult, at this excessively opulent St. Regus in Abu Dhabi. The end result is a warmth and cosiness not evident anywhere else in the hotel. And this almost rural overture is reflected in the food, giving it an earthy, old school honesty. The business buffet lunch we had was delightfully simple, elegant without being pretentious. A toss of salad, a pot of soup, a farmer’s pie, quiches, cold cuts, a cheese board, dried fruits, nuts, grilled veggies and more, but not much – not the Las Vegas buffet overkill we have become accustomed to in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Toscana’s entire buffet fit, be it snuggly, on a table no bigger than our 8-person dining table at home. Beautiful.
Service is formal yet friendly without being familiar (this is the St. Regus after all). Villa Toscana is a little Italian restaurant with a lot of character, a lot of charm. Highly recommended.

Real italian food ! The pizza crust took me directly to italy 😍 I have bookmarked this restaurant long time ago here in zomato and finally I tried it yesterday on my anniversary ❤️ the place is so romantic and they surprised us with roses and complementary cake ❤️ One more important point, the price really worth it and not toooo expensive comparing to other fine dining restaurants ! From now on this restaurant is my first and last choice in AD for italian food or romantic dinner 👍🏼
I visited Villa Toscana couple of days ago and we ordered a classic margarita pizza which was very tasty, best pizza I've had in Abu Dhabi by far and it costed us almost the same price as the pizza we order from any other pizza chains. Also, we've ordered the beef ribs ravioli which was amazing. Def coming back for that..
Villa Toscana is the St. Regis’ Italian eatery and one that has a particularly good reputation in a city overflowing with options for Italian fine dining. This was our first visit to Villa Toscana and having heard such good things about the food, we opted to sample the ‘Prenzo Brunch’ (prenzo meaning lunch in Italian).
Entering Villa Toscana, we immediately felt at home, the interiors feel rustic and charming, as though you have stepped into a Tuscan farmhouse, though still retaining the lavish feeling of the St. Regis brand. Inside it’s a mixture of leather chairs, heavy drapes and the finest displays of fresh pasta. Walls are painted with scenes of Tuscan landscapes and big band music from the likes of Frank Sinatra fills the air.

Before coming here, I’ve heard about how great Villa Toscana is, so I was excited to finally try it out for myself. The restaurant is located on the first floor of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, and has a very classy, yet rustic feel to it. The murals on the wall depict gorgeous Tuscan hills and restaurant is so charming.
There are small stalls near the entrance of the restaurant, that have starters like bread and cheese for guests to sample before they make their way to their tables.
The staff seated us towards the back, which is all the more better for us since my little Khalifa was with us, and he wouldn’t be tempted to run out of the restaurant (which is quite a typical occurrence).
We were given a few Italian appetizers to keep us busy until our starters were ready to be served. Among this was a traditional Bruschetta; it was simple and delicious! Along with that, a fried pastry stuffed with mortadella and another dish of fried cheese sticks were served with several dips.
In all honesty, I didn’t even take a good look at the menu. I knew that I wanted a soup as a starter and gnocchi as a main, so I just asked the waitresses’ opinion on what the best choices were for those two, and I put my trust in her. My husband, however, was a bit more picky and ordered exactly what he wanted.
Our drinks were soon served, and our starters followed.
When my Seafood Soup came, I was taken aback by the size– it was huge! First of all, its beautifully wrapped in bread, and then baked in the oven. The bread was peeled back and the soup under it was revealed right in front of us, so the chef has to time it carefully to ensure that its not undercooked or overcooked, because he doesn’t have a chance to see it before it arrives at the table.
Under that layer of bread is a beautiful soup filled with a whole lobster, calamari, shrimps and mussels, along vegetables and fresh herbs. This is the kind of soup you have after a long day in the rain; its so comforting and homely. Each element of the soup was perfectly cooked, which is really impressive considering its wrapped in bread and impossible to check on.
My husband ordered the Spicy King Prawns as his starter. Its also oven-baked and tossed in with olive oil, garlic and tomatoes. He really liked it, but I didn’t have a chance to try it because I was so in love with my soup!
By this time, I had totally forgotten that I had even ordered a main, but sure enough, it showed up along with my husbands main dish. For his main, he ordered the Red Snapper and it was presented in a similar way to my soup– oven-baked and wrapped in thin bread. The juices of the fish helped in the cooking process, and even flavored the vegetables that came with it.
My Gnocchi looked like little fluffy pillows of deliciousness! I was only able to take a couple of bites and had to take the rest as takeaway since I was so stuffed from the soup.
While my husband had his fish, I was able to take some time to get ready for dessert. I had the Pistachio Semifreddo and my husband had the Black Cherry Gelato.
Both were a beautiful sweet end to a very homely and filling Italian meal at a gorgeous restaurant.

Worth Trying?: There are plenty of Italian restaurants in the capitol, and we’ve tried out so many, but the combination of a luxurious ambience and rustic food really differentiates Villa Toscana from the rest.

Went to this restaurant a few weeks ago when I stayed at the St. Regis AUH. We did not have much choice as the 5 star hotel has only 4 restaurants and this was the one we chose after pondering on the menu. We still were not aware of what we were going to eat but still we went ahead and booked a table.
The ambience was surprisingly quite, dim lit and not crowded so we began to doubt our decision but as the time was only 20:00 we assumed people would come in and eventually the 12 table restaurant was full. The outside seating was temporarily closed because of the weather maybe.
We were served a complimentary dish to begin with which was fish and some seasoned vegetable on toast, a bit too fishy for my tastebuds. Then we ordered a seafood risotto for my accomplice and I ordered a Beef Tenderloin with Eringy Mushrooms, potato and celeriac gratin. The plating was good and the taste was good as well. Not the best tenderloin I have tasted but to an extent it was good. The seafood risotto was amazing, I personally enjoyed it more than my steak. The celeriac gratin was something I have never tasted before and did like it. The meat was tender juicy and served medium. Nice and pink on the inside. But I assumed the portion would be bigger! On an overall the place is nice but the food is a bit overpriced for its standard.
Villa Toscana is a real italian experience (and I mean it since I'm italian): the staff is 95% italian that it means they understand your requests, they know about the food in the menu, finally they know how to do their job properly and professionally. The food is very good, not the kind of Alfredo-sauce-italian-restaurants, but really good ingredients are used for tasty dishes inspired to the italian tradition. Plus, the ambient is chic, elegant and in the good season you can enjoy the terrace. Experience this restaurant before saying that you know italian cuisine.
The place is amazing, the crew is very professional and welcoming. The food is simply Italian :). A true Italian restaurant which was recommended by my Italian friends. They said: if you really want to get Italian food then go eat at Villa Toscana. Indeed it is different.

Two weeks ago, I visited Villa Toscana at St. Regis Abu Dhabi along with the three men in my life - Dad, my brother Dan & Mr.D. This time it was for lunch. Mr. D and I had visited Villa Toscana sometime earlier this year, so it wasn't new to us. We love the food there. Villa Toscana has an indoor as well as outdoor dining area. Its beautiful outside as the restaurant faces the sea. However, it was a warm day and none of us wanted to sweat our butts off. The decor inside was very simple. There were paintings of Italian countryside on the walls. It gave it a very traditional feel. A beautiful chandelier that hung from the ceiling brightened up the place. At one end was a kitchen, where we could see the chefs preparing our food. And in a room somewhere within the restaurant was a wine cellar... which I never knew existed until that day!

This is fine dining. Been twice, want to go again. Great service by an Italian staff who know about the food being served - this is remarkable in the UAE because staff usually have no idea what they are serving!!
Food is real and to a high standard .
Very Lovely restaurant , food was absolutely delicious ,my husband an I went there to celebrate our anniversary and we told them while booking and once we arrived the staff was very welcoming and they took us directly to our table that they prepared for us to be romantic and sea view.
the surprise that after finishing our main course the chef served us a piece of cake which was written on it happy anniversary, this was really very sweet from them.
I recommend it to everybody who wants to have a romantic and fantastic dinner.
Lovely ambience, fantastic service, absolutely delicious food!that's the only way to describe this better! My risotto tasted WOW! I can have that over and over..the striploin was juicy,tender and we'll seasoned, cooked to a perfect medium rare.I suggest all the people who get a chance to go to abu dhabi or stay at St regis , that this place is a.must try,it was our first dinner there post stay, and it was absolutely stunning! Great job by the chef and the restaurant team!
Food: The fish was well done and the flavours were delicate. The pizza (to our surprise) was only mediocre but the lamb pappardelle was also very nicely done.
Service: Intrusive yet inefficient. We felt like we were being continuously interrupted by various servers/management to tell us about different things separately, when they could have informed us all at once. I also asked for the wifi password and they never got back to me.
Classy with a nice cosy atmosphere, however it was smokey by the door, it seems to seep in form the cafe in the lobby!
I liked the unfamiliarity of the menu, can't comment on how authentic to Tuscany the food is, but its nice to see a change to the regular Italian joints out there.
Nice touch with fresh hot breadsticks when you take a seat, as well as some especially tasty (ricotta?) dumplings.
We had the Oxtail agnolotti & Homemade pappardelle Siena style, we really enjoyed the latter.
Service was very good, ok cake for the wife's b day, although my order of latte was missed..
Definitely one to try, especially for more adventurous folk with interesting stuff on the menu like Squid ink lobster ravioli, we dared not..

It was a wonderful experience for my family to have tried a fine dining Tuscany inspired Restaurant for the very first time. We were served with authentic Italian dishes (chef's menu) that were so different from the usual pizza and pasta that we order in other casual restaurants. The dishes were good, and the place was warm and inviting. #ZomatoSummer

From the reviews I expected the interior of the restaurant to be nicer, but it was still nice and had a romantic setting. The choice of salads is quite limited and didn't find much there. The chef brought two complimentary sampler dishes to try, fried salmon balls with a pesto cheese sauce (amazing rich and flavorful sauce) and a toasted bread with olive, which was nice. Their bread sticks and dips are really good (artichoke flavored, olive flavored, tomato flavored) We ordered the four cheese pasta which was very good, and I really liked the way they serve it, although it was quite a heavy dish. While the dish had a resembling flavor to a simple mac and cheese dish, the cheese quality and flavor definitely makes the dish memorable. We also ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which although was nice, it felt like another standard mousakka dish that you can get from Arabic restaurants. As a note, if you're the kind of person who likes to change or add items to your dish, you may be limited in doing so as the chef likes to prepare dishes in the authentic Tuscan style (and additions will tend to be on a side plate rather than mixed with your dish). Their strawberry mojito was nice, although had a strong syrup flavor (more focus on fresh ingredients would have been better). Unfortunately, there was an insect in my wife's drink and the staff apologised and made the drinks complimentary, offered to make a new drink (we were at the end of the meal so kindly declined) as well as serving complimentary coffee and zeppole (Italian sugary donuts). Their espresso had a strong intense flavor and was really good. The restaurant is worth trying for a romantic evening. An interesting experience for authentic Tuscan style cuisine that's worth trying.
Honestly dont know from where to start ! the food the staff the atmosphere the dessert all just perfect! Yes a bit pricey but it's worth every penny finally i would like to share with you the dessert I had this time ! Any magma lovers here ? It basically looks like the classic magma ice cream from outside filled with the mascarpone cheese and tiramisu cake from the inside. I advice every couple out there to dine at this place at least once *wink*
great ambiance, lovely decor, and exquisite food. Hands down, best burrata cheese I have ever had. The service was also great and the waiters were friendly and well-informed about the menu.
