As a Brit I went to try this new restaurant a few weeks ago and loved it. The place had a real buzz to it, staff were attentive and the food was wholesome & very tasty.
Definitely worth a visit.

I have ordered for delivery recently, grilled seafood platter, canton guisado, and bilo-bilo. All were just like what I have expected: great taste and good packaging. I always can count with Ortego's to satisfy my filipino food craving. Kudos to the cook!
The food was still warm and our food came early than the expected time. This will always be one of our comfort food. The combos are good especially for the price range.
You guys have done it again! You almost always never fail me in terms of my delivery orders, so for that, me and my-lazy-no-cook-week-self are very thankful. I ordered the chicken tower set last night for my brother’s birthday, and everything was spot on (except for the meh camaron, pardon me)! Several times before I’ve tried the memorable seafood thermidor and the super tasty and filling bangus sisig! Ay sarap. Certainly a repeat customer here :-)

The chicken tower and back ribs are my favorite.. will defined come back again.. good value for money.. the only bad side is that the staff’s are not willing to share the wifi passport despite of telling them it was an emergency..
I am very much impressed with their delivery service the food was neatly packed and for me that's very important because it gives you an impression that the restaurant have have a high standard for hygiene.
I think its the best among Filipino restaurants out there, price is higher among other Filipino restaurant but just right for the quality and quantity of serving.
A great spot for a variety of eclectic dishes including fresh veg choices and juices in a quiet pocket of Al Markaziyah with friendly helpful staff. Pictured is a delicious dish of sauteed Toga (bean sprouts) & with Tofu I had which hopefully is still in the current menu. A nice place with good food.
The kare kare is beyond words! Tasty indeed! Same goes with the lumpia. My cravings were fulfilled! But only one thing... I've placed NO CUTLERIES when I've ordered online but still got some. Anyhoo, all is well! Still gonna order soon!
Went today with my wife, ordered tagalog paella, kare-kare and sweet melon juice. And for dessert buko pie. We loved all the food, wish the paella have crabs, but still it was great. I think they should provide a bigger straw for the melon juice, as it's a bit of a challenge to get the melon strand. Their kare-kare is so tasty that it doesn't need the bagoong. The buko pie is the best, I highly recommend it.
had lunch with my friend and her husband. food was great and tasty. a real taste of Filipino cuisine. only service was a bit bad and slow. but all in all we had great lunch.
The food was delivered earlier than expected. One of the best pinoy restaurants in the region. The foods are tasty and they have generous servings.

Food is delish as always!!! Never had a bad experience at ortegos. Only downside is the parking as it is very hard tp find one whenever I go there. Love the Bangus Sisig. Super tasty.

Our Korean teacher loved the dishes they prepared and I'll be sure to bring all my other friends here if they want to try Filipino food. Food are definitely close to home-cooked meals, so a big shoutout to your crew for making this possible (plus the staff who helped set the table is superb! He even greeted our teacher in simple Korean which was definitely a good gesture)
Compared to the Al Wahda branch, this branch is definitely more quiet and has lesser crowd. So if you'd like a nice ambience where you can enjoy your meal whille enjoying a catch up session with friends and family, this branch is definitely more recommended.
We need more vegetables in the bulalo tho. The last time we went here, there was only a small chunk of cabbage and some pieces of pechay.
Overall, a great experience! I hope you maintain this.

my most favorite filipino resto here in abu dhabi. i recall my first visit was an awesome dinning experience. my order was filipino version of paella which is my favorite dish not just to eat but also to cook and share with my loved ones. i remember that the moment i tasted their version of the dish it gave me comfort and feeling that im not far away home
we had our friends birthday celebration here. the food is good but i like the chicken tower a lot. tasty and yummy. other dishes are good also. staff are very accommodating and the place was kinda ordinary. over all our experience is 👍

Today we ordered Karekare and combo meals. i had tried many filipino restaurants and here the taste was different and good. I believe they don't add Ajino moto for which i am allergic. I think among all filipino restrauants that i tasted [Hot palaok / Max / Little mania etc] this was the best to my taste
They have a variety of food to choose from. Most of their food are Filipino cuisine. Service and delivery is exceptional. However, the only downside is that the last time I ordered food here on Christmas eve, it didn’t taste good, like it was prepared in a hurry. Anyway, I would still recommend this to everyone out there who loves to try out exquisite Filipino dishes.

If you’re looking for a restaurant just around the city that is absolutely affordable and offers variety of choices (most of them are Filipino Foods), I recommend Ortego’s Deli Hamdan Branch.
The location is just near my place so it’s accessible for me (but not so sure about the parking area). The interior is simple yet cool and clean.
I’ve been here many times already with different set of friends. I always order the Chicken Tower mos especially if you’re too hungry and you want to be so full. Try this one. It has unlimited rice and it’s already good for 3-4 persons. The presentation and the taste was good. The grilled chicken was well cooked as well.
I even tried their Special Halo-Halo during the summer. The presentation was also good. For the taste, it’s kinda so sweet maybe because of the ice cream yet it’s fine. The size as well good for 2 coz it’s big. Really perfect for summer.
I even tried their Mixed Seafood Platter. I just love seafoods so I am a little biased about this one. But I love the squid. It was well cooked.
Ordered delivery chicken combo @ 26aed, portion was more than enough for one person, packaging was decent and taste was good, though I ordered from them few months back, but back then I didn’t like the food, today I really enjoyed it.
I was so perplexed when I saw this purple colour hot dish as I was craving for some sweet things after having my late office lunch... since this name sounds funny to me, I decided to order it....Bilo bilo...it was a sweet dish with some funny looking balls sweet potato and Jack fruit...this dish is so confusing for me as j was not sure if I liked it or not but I could resist myself from having the next gulp... I loved the way it gave me some pieces of the balls and Jack fruit when having those gravy... it was like a surprise on each spoon... over all the dish was so exiting with its colour and those pieces...
This is my first time to try this restaurant. We ordered Grilled Beef Ribs for dine in. For take away, we got bilo-bilo and seafood paella. Serving is also good as we were able to order one dish for 2 dining pax. Ambiance is nice as the place is clean and not crowded. Staffs are also ok. Food is nice too and the value for money is also ok for the food quality that we had. I just wish they have more selection on their menu.

This is a must try and must visit place if you want to eat Filipino delicacies. unlike the other Filipino restaurant, this place has the cozy ambiance that'll make you feel like you are dinning in a luxurious restaurant.

the only thing lacking is the complimentary appetizer or free soup. other restaurants have complimentary soup or appetizers to ease the customers while waiting for their foods to be served.
if you can have that then i think more customers will have a superb dinning experience and will likely to enjoy their meal, having appetizers and soups on the table are basically part of the Filipino customs.
A good time, lovely atmosphere, way above we knew from way back when. She enjoyed her food. Try it again? Sure, but not this month. Real good food.
me and my boyfriend went to eat here in ortegos markaziyah yesterday and i like to compliment the ambiance of the restaurant from the moment we entered all the waitresses looked at our way and promptly guide us to our table, they are very hospitable and approachable. though i know this restaurant a long time ago since my boyfriend loves to order for delivery of paella and ribs from ortegos, this is my first time setting foot in your restaurant and the waitress is very kind to give recommendations of other available foods. but we still end up ordering paella and chicken tower. I only have 1 problem with regards to paella, i noticed that everytime i eat your paella, either delivery or dine it, it tastes different from the other, sometimes it's good, sometimes it feels like something is missing from the taste, and other times it's bland.
i would like to give 4.5 rating to the staffs
and a 3 for the food because of it's inconsistency with the taste and flavors.

I’ve been to this place for how many times and I love their paella, chicken and sisig. Yesterday night, we decided to dine and ordered combo – taplawin and Avocado Shake. Tapas is tasty and avocado is also yummy. Will always comeback after some time.
Tried the combo meals, the taste was good especially the Tapa and Pancit Canton. The Ortegos Combo and Tagalog De Paella is recommended dish also 👍.

I've been going to Ortego's for a few years now, and they continue to be one of the best Filipino joints in the city. The last time I went was in April or May, and I think they have since redesigned their menu. If there is one thing that stands out about Ortego's deli it's the nice interior design. Coupled with reasonable prices, this is an accessible, pleasant place to grab some delicious food.
The thing that originally attracted me to this restaurant was the chicken tower. It is really quite tasty. Perfectly grilled chicken slathered in sweet and spicy sauce gets served on a pike for maximum pizzazz. Most items with the chef's recommendation icon on them are good.
One thing to note is that this restaurant is not particularly vegetarian friendly. There are only a few items in the menu that don't have seafood, chicken, or beef.

The Paella was delivered while I had bulalo and mixed seafood grill for lunch in the restaurant.
Delivery: The food I got was warm and was very well presented. The delivery guy followed the instruction to call me when he reached and he didn't have issues with the location at all. He called when he was outside my house and never gave me a problem. The next best thing is that the food arrived 30mins after my order was confirmed. To be honest, I don't know how a paella should taste. However, I loved what I had. It wasn't salty. It wasn't soggy. The chicken, egg, and mussels were tasty (nothing extraordinary). The shrimp (or prawn?) was special. It was cooked very well. It wasn't chewy. It was very juicy. I would have loved it more if the digestive tract (sand vein) was removed. I know many Filipino chefs or restaurants who aren't doing that and I hate it. Still, I am definitely recommending this dish.

Flavor? The grilled beef ribs was authentic filipino taste! The sauce was mixture of all the flavors with sweet note at the very end. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked! They added cucumber sides and it helped balance the sweetness from the bbq sauce with its sour flavors. They also added extra soy dip for those who want a tad salty taste. Overall, im happy with my dining experience from Ortego's Deli, for sure ill try more from their menu.
The Laksa Crab Soup is one of my favorite in this restaurant and the maja, for me it is superb. They added twist in this filipino dessert which I really appreciate so much.
Tasty Filipino food with ample serving for an affordable price. Peri-peri meal is a must try. Ginataang Bilo-bilo, Sapin-sapin and Fiesta Kalamay are among my favorite desserts. Delivery service is commendable too.
Ortego's never fail! Delivery was as promised and food quality is great. 👍🏻 I ordered Peri-peri combo meal and it was good. I liked how they pack it, soo presentable. Just that, the chicken doesn't taste the same as the regular peri peri main course but all the rest was fine. Hence the 4.0. 😊
This is my first time to order online with Ortego's Deli. I've been to both of their branches and i'm quite familiar with their menu so it's not hard for me to choose in their online menu. I ordered my regular favorites: bangus sisig, grilled beef ribs, ortego's combi and bilo bilo. Everything is A ok... but only for one thing. If you noticed in the photo of ortegos's combi (combo meal with grilled chicken, eggplant salad, rice noodles, rice, seafood salad in vinegar or kilawin) it's unpleasantly prepared. They put all the items in one container which mixes the sauces of different taste. It looks like a bolus to me. I hope that ortego's deli will find a way how they can maintain the quality of their foods being delivered. Don't just put it in one container that spoil the individual taste (it's not a rice bowl topping meal). My dining experience in ortego's is great and all other foods are great just make you combo meals more presentable if someone will order it to-go or for delivery.

Our favourite Filipino place - really good soup, rice, noodles - Well everything really. They have authentic dishes and a few fusion ones too that make it a good place if it is your first time with Filipino food. Highlights for us included crab soup, spicy squid, great adobo rice and delicious beef and greens dish, and the noodles were awesome too!Great service and nice feel to the place - would definitely go back.

from experience, they start their delivery 12noon and food will be delivered within an hour. but last feb 8, i followed up for our order and found out they forgot to include our order for delivery! i have to wait another half hour or more for our food to be delivered. unwilling to wait, we just decided to pick it up from the store. they gave complimentaries to appease us. though this a small matter and completely forgivable, i hope it will not happen again. otherwise, my rating will be affected by their service.
