Loved the overall experience. Didn't have kungpao chicken that was available in the crown plaza outlet.
Ordered blackpepper beef. The sause was impressive. I would have preferred sliced stir fried beef but got beef cubes.
Perfect night out on Tuesday! Cocktails were delicious and we ordered sushi (philadelphia, california & spider rolls) all the rolls were delicious! And also we got shrimps noodles and chicken curry also both very tasty! Highly recommended and can’t wait to try more items next time.

Came here after watching The Nun movie last year. :p I loved the relaxed ambience in Cho Gao. Just came to booze after the movie. We just had a few pints of Kirin beer. And it was served with crispy prawn crackers.
Food are so great and overwhelming but its kinda expensive. 😂 we tried the 2in1 offer. And phyu the waitress served us, she’s really nice. The friday marina brunch is worth a try! 😁👍🏼
The best sushi and shashimi is here! Wide range of cocktails are superb. Interior was really gorgeous and staffs are professional and friendly. Their sushi night and ladies night are on Abu Dhabi’s top. A MUST TRY.
Before you read this review take a look a those pictures. It’s called a Friday brunch, they serve all you can eat buffet style food, and it’s not disappointing at all. Especially the fresh sea food. For an extra 150 Dirhams you can an add all you drink menu. It’s seriously a must go to brunch place. A big 5 stars.
What an amazing time we had at this place. They have zomato gold on drinks and i utilised it by ordering the yummiest mojito. The food comes in my dreams. It was beyond perfect for a date night. You won’t regret going here!! Wish they had more light just so we could click better pics 😝

Far Eastern cuisine in beautiful surroundings. Great music and good service. We tried the pad Thai, shrimp dim sum, fried rice and spring rolls. They always ask if you have any food allergies which nowadays is a good thing. Their coffee is strong, just as I like it. After trying food at Cho Gao, crowne plaza, I was really looking forward to try this one as well, and wasn’t disappointed .
Cocktail- We tried the fizzy furuti and Singapore sling- both nice and strong.
Starter- chicken dimsums and wasabi prawns- i really feel they are better done at the crown plaza cho gao.
Main course- crispy prawns in red curry and thai chicken green curry- the curries are served with sticky rice. Loved it.

Place is very recommendable for intimate dinner. Food was superb. I love asian cuisine and this is one of the best. Service is fast and crew are friendly. Cant say any negative comments for this one.
Everything was just amazing the staff the food the ambiance. everyone in the group had zomato GOLD so the drinks were flowing. Gorged on the sushi & maki men. My favourite was the "prawn red curry" fusion maki. Definitely going there again SOOOOON
Absolutely love this place and everything they have on the menu, the quality is great and the portions are good enough. I looked everywhere in town for a good pad Thai and struggled to find it, this place made it possible.
Amazing Asian food serviced with love. Cool atmosphere, great staffs, good food. Nasi goreng is my favorite and beef steak. If you would like to have Asian cuisine, I think this is the right place to hang.
Such a good evening at Cho Gao! We were planning to go just for dinner but then saw that they have happy hour so got there a bit earlier to take advantage of it. Our bartender Ryan was amazing, he takes so much pride in what he does, we ordered a couple of beers and then went on to cocktails. I went for the Mango Chilli Margherita. It was sooo good, but i have to say if you cant take your spice (which i cant!) make sure you tell them to take it easy on the chilli - my mouth was on fire but it was such a delicious drink I couldnt stop drinking it!
For dinner we all chose a range of dishes, i opted for the thai yellow fish curry and I have to say i was amazed at the flavours of the dish. It was probably the best thai curry i have ever had, my mouth is watering while writing this review! My friends also tried the red curry (both prawn and veg) and the black pepper tofu, everyone went home really impressed and we will definitely be going back!
I love this place! Located in the Intercontinental hotel AD it has the most beautiful views over Etihad towers and yacht bay. Indoors and outdoors you enjoying great customer service , excellent food and pleasant music! The lovers of Japanese food would appreciate the menu, sushi is always fresh and yummy and miso soup is something ...🔥
Cho Gao located on Hamdan used to be my favourite spot whenever I felt I wanted some Asian food and along came Cho Gao Marina walk. A great location with a lovely bay view and not to mention awesome food. Ambience: with Cho Gao Marina walk they have maintained the authentic Asian look with its bamboo lamps and wooden dividers but have stepped up the whole feel with this outlet making it more spacious, and adding comfortable couches teamed up with their wooden furniture and the best part is it has outdoor seating which overlooks the bay
Great food and friendly staff. I love asian cuisine so its tough for me not to rate Cho Gao abu dhabi,they maintain a certain standard in the Emirates which they dont in the states. Everything from the quality of the service and food,the atmosphere at the restaurant and even the diversity of the menu is amazing
Crispy Spring Rolls – Really crispy and perfectly cooked with a really great filling of vegetables alongside with few sauces to dip with. Wasabi Prawns – Prawns cooked in a batter of mango salsa , mint and coriander. Definitely Recommend this one , super zestful and gives you a lot of flavor.
I Had a great night at Cho Gao Marina Walk Intercontinental. It’s the best place to relaxed and enjoyed the night with friends & loveones with delicious Asian Cuisine. Cho Gao can boast with stylish Asian fusion ambiance, though till the weather is pretty nice I would totally recommend you to enjoy a breathtaking view of Etihad Towers and Intercontinental Marina.
Always glad to get an excellent service from my favorite creative bartender Von. And, actually, all staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Regarding the menu, I love their sushi & Singapore noodles as well as a variety of tasty Instagram-looking mocktails & cocktails.
One of other important reasons to be a Cho Gao regular is music. Its resident DJs know how to get you into the right mood. My separate thanks are for amazing deep house on Fridays.
Few weeks back, when I got the invite from Zomato for a foodie meet up at Cha Gao in Inter Continental Abudhabi. I least expect any surprise element. Been an active foodie, it’s a shame claiming it was my first visit to ICA. But, anyhow we made it finally. (wink). The meeting was fixed for the evening; More than the food, what I love from the meeting is you get a chance to interact with people of same mind. We were greeted by the Zomato Executive Robert and guaranteed us to be an evening full of tittle-tattle and fun . 😀

Meaning “rice market” in Vietnamese, Cho Gao brings fusion Pan Asian cuisine to the capital in a trendy and stylish setting. Located at the Intercontinental Hotel Abu Dhabi, it offers front row seat views of the marina with the iconic Etihad Towers as its back drop. Elements of Asia can be found everywhere – from the music to decor and scents – the attention to detail was impressive.
Cho Gao’s menu incorporates cuisines from Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, China, and Thailand. Dishes are served for sharing and the sushi bar provides a sumptuous selection of sushi and sashimi.

We got to witness that at the Zomato experience last week at the newly opened Cho Gao Marina Walk, Abu Dhabi.
I decided to take my not-so-keen-on-food sister as a plus one. Little did I know that the whole experience and the food would turn her around.
We were greeted by the courteous Zomato executives and the restaurant staff.
The restaurant has a fantastic vibe. The dark and inviting interiors give it a luxurious feel. The restaurant has ideal space and perfect lighting. It has a well put together outdoor patio area where the diners can enjoy some casual drinks with friends.
I'm visiting this place Mainly every Sunday night which is the ladies night, I like the decor and the music also food is ok, desserts are delicious but portion is small and choices not that much
Cho Gao is known for serving great pan-Asian food. Having only tried delivery from their original branch in Crowne Plaza, I was very excited to dine at their newer, cosy restaurant at the Marina Walk (Intercontinental Abu Dhabi). They have a spacious patio area to dine with a view, which you also have access to through large glass windows in case you choose to sit inside.
Food and ambiance really nice went on the Friday brunch the variety was great the service and variety of food was really good. Definitely recommended to try they share a brunch with chamas
Situated on everyone's favorite marina, encapsulated by the Intercontinental Hotel, is the newly opened, second branch of Cho Gao, referred to as Cho Gao Marina Walk. The original branch is tucked inside the cozy Crown Plaza Hotel in the city center. Having been to both, the food is almost identical, but Cho Gao Marina Walk offers the lofty atmosphere and open bar scene that the first lacks.
Fab food. The Thai Green Curry over here is to die for ! Wanted to dip everything into it & eat it. Also loved the Green Apple smoking mock-tail with a dash of cinnamon ! A must-visit for the lovers of Pan Asian cuisine.

Great decore!! Love it!!! Very cool concept!! Love the high ceilings, the details of the "old" wooden bird cages hanging down from it, the traditional fish/rice baskets. The tall tables.... etc.. indeed very welcoming! Can't wait to be able to seat on their terrace! Very nice atmosphere.
Great staff, and large variety of Asian food!! From Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, Chinese to Indonesian ... excellent selection. Even found my very favorite Rendang on the menu. (Unfortunately it wasn't heated properly this time, would have given that "rib" few more min in the microwave) sauce was great though, flavors where paired well. Loved their Tom Yum Kung... was excellent... enjoyed every spoon of it! Their Laxa on the other hand was way to sweet for my tastebuds, and the noddles could have been more "al dente". Their salt & pepper squid where good as their pepper beef and the wasabi prawns with mango salsa.. And to end this feast we had their fried Banana, OMG!!! It was fantastic... every bite of it... and they serve it with some sort of cream to dip it in that just makes it perfect (Big portion 1 order is more then enough for 2-3 as the bananas are very filling).
Worth giving a try.

This is the new cool place in town. Great food mixed with excellent beverages choices. And the best part is the good value you get with the reasonable prices . We will be back soon. Highly recommended
