Was surprised with the quality taste of their steak the first time I had it; drinks and desserts are noticeably good as well. Became my few reasons of keep on coming back to Marina Mall. Good thing that they are now available in Zomato.
What a wonderful lunch I've had from lips cafe. This is the one of my best restaurant in Abudhabi. Hmmm😋😋😋 delicious food and polite,friendly staff with gread services. I'm inviting to people come and try their all the foods.. (beef tenderloin with lips dark chocolate)

Food here is undoubtedly delicious. Loved everything I tried. The staff delivered great service but found them to be a bit stand offish and tensed.
I had pan fried dumpling. A good option for an appetizer that’s not heavy but tasty.
The grilled chicken burger. It was grilled to perfection and not too heavy.

I ordered a salmon salad and must confess it tasted fresh and delicious. The portion was big though and can be shared. As for the juice do ask for the Arabian Night. It’s refreshing to say the least.
For eid sweet treat we decided to try their dessert section. We ordered chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream price was 34 dhs which is quite reasonable. The cake was best of it's kind. Loved it. Service was good too. Served with respect.

The lips beef burger ,it’s delicious and the patty is so thick and tender I definitely prefer this burger to more famous burger joints
Second is their pumpkin Parmesan soup in a bread bowl extremely delicious esp with the police oil dressing on the side
Lastly their chocolate fondue cake is heavenly,I think this cafe is under rated !

This place is located inside marina mall on the ground floor. Neatly arranged to have a good cup of coffee. Ordered Arabic coffee along with an apple pie. Worth the money for the service and food.
This place is like located on the ground floor in the middle of the main walk way of the mall in a large enclosed restaurant space with its own tables and seats. There are many cake and dessert options but the ice cream is not it’s own original taste it Baskin Robbins. Outstanding shortbread cookies made with real butter it’s worth visiting just for those and pick up a kilo. The seating is a bit dated it’s not modern in its look but comfortable all the same. Very helpful friendly staff.
Lips (The Cafe) is in the middle of the walkway near the central fountain at the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi. Walking by, it doesn't seem like much, but there are always tables of local people there, so we tried diner there. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were top-notch, and we've been back a few more times with the same results. The microscopic kitchen serves up well-presented and tasty food. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

I had a very lovely breakfast this morning at Lips.
Initially I was a bit hesitant to go in, seeing that the restaurant was placed in an 'open' format in the middle of the mall (I personally prefer more tucked-away settings), but once seated, I didn't feel as 'exposed' as I thought I would.
The service was great. Our server was friendly, helpful and accommodating. My request for replacements in the set menus was catered to without a fuss; as was my request for the telly to be switched off, for my toddler. Thank you. 😊
On to the food. I went for the American breakfast, and it was one of the best I've had. I really liked that they included a fruit bowl, which had a nice mix of fruits, all sweet. 👌
The bread came warm and toasted. It would have been nice though, to have more than one slice per person. 🙈
For the eggs, you could choose any way you like. And it was pleasing to note that even if you wanted to add veges or cheese to your omelette, that there was no extra charge. Which is really great. Especially since the whole breakfast package was only Dh. 46! 8t is absolutely great value.
The salad that I asked for, in place of the grilled chicken sausage, was nicely done, very well presented. You could feel the love. ❤
The hash browns were yummy, and it was great to know that they were oven baked. Much better than the greasy alternatives out there. Even the grilled tomato tasted delicious, with a sprinkling of dried herbs on top.
I also loved that I could have Karak chai for my tea. And it was amazing! 😍😍😍 It came infused with Saffron, which was fantastic!
The orange juice was delicious too. And tasted so fresh.

This place has one of the Best hot chocolates in Abu Dhabi from the ones I've tried. I had the Italian hot chocolate with the milk chocolate option (AED 24) but you can also ask for it in dark or white chocolate. Just the right amount of chocolate and perfect thickness. I'll definitely be coming back for more 👍🏼

I only had time for a cappuccino there, menu looks very interesting and many locals where there for having breakfast. Will check it out soon their food. Cappuccino was good.

I always visit this cafe when I'm craving for some Emirati breakfast. I love their Karak and saffron milk. The khameer and balaleet are fantastic! Try it if you're in the mood for some local cuisine
The best part of this cafe is the service which made me give them a 4.5. A lady called Leiza, I think she is the manager or supervisor was my favorite. My sister accidently dropped my arabic coffee so Leiza was very nice to replace it for me even though it was our mistake. 😍 I really recommend their arabic coffee it's my all times favorite. The chocolate fondont and their chocolate soufflés is delicious.

Lips is a more of a kiosk cafe which is nestled in he busy area of the Marina mall. I havent seen any branches of them so i had to visit this one.
Ordered a Arrabiatta ,I choose to go with a Penne .It was mentioned in spicy tomato gravy. Usually in the UAE whenever it says spicy it never is.But this one did turn out exactly as it is named. Was warm and had enough sauce for the whole dish. It was an enough portion for one person. Must Say one of the few places I genuinely liked my Pasta
Lips special was my choice of drink .The drink was citrusy however had extra too much of crushed ice for my liking.
Pros: Service was prompt( i was given a menu card the moment i entered), complementary bread basket (an assortment of breads )
Cons :Location - Amazing food but the cacophony of eager shoppers around you cant be ignored.
Next time I will definitely go back for the Khameer which other reviewers have raved about.

Earlier today, I had breakfast at Lips Cafe (Marina Mall). This is my second time trying it out and I would say it again, I loved it.
Great food and amazing staff. We ordered the eggs benedict and the Arabic breakfast, which were both amazingly cooked and displayed.
I enjoyed my meal while having the american marshmallow hot chocolate, which was amazing of course but I won't recommend it for people whom are having something sweet for breakfast!
Besides the great food, their prices are very convenient compared to other places with this high standard of food.
I have been there so many times, the food is really good. They have a diverse in there menu, you can find more than one type of cuisine. There coffee, there traditional Emarati food and there salads are really good.
They have best dessert. Whenever i have craving for sweet. I usually come to this place. The staff is very coperative they tell you each details about food.
In love with there food and service.. tried the mushroom soup, chicker caesar salad as well as there pastas (Chicken Alfredo Penne/ravioli pasta).
I love this spot for their Emirati specialties. Their Khameer bread and their Balaleet are the perfect fix after a shopping session! They also have some good salads and pasta options. And very good desserts and cakes.
Decided to have lunch here instead of the usual breakfast. My wife persuaded me to try the lamb shank and i so glad i did. The lamb shank was substantial...for me anyway. It was so soft and just fell away from the bone. Accompanied by steamed veg and mashed potatoes with a light gravy. Must have been good as my wife helped in devouring it. As always the service was friendly and efficient.
I don't come often here, but when I do i either order their Emirati Khameer (yeast) bread or their Balaleet (sweet vermicelli) and sometimes I order both :)! Sooooo delicious. Their karak is also good.
My friend and I decided to try this cafe as we were bored from the other ones in Marina mall; moreover my friend recommended their waffles. The service was quick from taking the order, serving us, to removing our plates without hovering over our heads. I ordered a Mocha and chocolate fondue (by their recommendations), and my friend ordered summer fruit waffles. It's the first time in my life that I complete a fondue! It is rich in chocolate but not heavy. As for the waffles, it is the best waffles I have tasted. It is light with vanilla ice cream and berries on top.
I will definitely go there again.
I really love this place. It is a nice sit up for quick meet up-s. I love their deserts escpically their berry-berry waffles they're freshly made and delicious.Staff is very active and helpful, WiFi avaiable so that is a plus nowadays.The only reason I took of 2 points from the rating is the food that the have in the menu while ordering half of them will be not avaible. & they dont serve french fries which is a huge down fall for mother's with kids as kids love their fries. However, other food's that are avaiable in the menu are delicious. I am a big fan of their penne pasta. soooooooooo goooood.
I have tried this cafe once for a Breakfast and I ordered an American breakfast which was good ( 8/10). In addition, nice view which is opposite to the artificial fountain and near to the main gate. Also, the staff were friendly .. :)
Great arabic coffee that you can share it, also the chocolate souffle is amazing which comes hot along with an ice cream scoop.
I didn't try their food yet, but i prefer to just have coffee with desert.

I've passed this cafe umpteen times and it's hard to miss as it's located right next to the central fountain and stretches all the way from Coach to La senza. It's one of those open cafe concepts which is nice. I always thought of it as a quick bites cafe but was surprised to see an extensive menu.
They offer a variety of breakfast options like American, English, Arabian as well as Continental which are served till noon in addition to some traditional Emirati dishes. The mains offer quite a bit of chicken options but steaks are limited. The drinks menu is plentiful with a bevy of choices in hot and cold chocolate as well as fruit cocktails.
I loved the onion bread that was served in the complimentary bread basket. The calamari starter that we sampled was also tasteful. I had the Amore salad and as the name suggests I fell in love with it. Everything from the presentation to its components and overall taste was amazing. I'd also recommend the lips club special which comprised of grilled chicken, turkey slices and egg.
The food did take sometime to make an appearance but it was worth the wait. Besides, we didn't mind as we were busy catching up.
Final verdict: Definitely worth a visit, given their range of options as well as good service. Full marks to these guys for their food presentation, specially w.r.t the desserts.
I love this place! I love the ambiance of this place, even though it's in the middle of the mall and not covered. It's an open concept cafe near the fountain of Marina Mall. It's a great place to just sit, relax, people-watch, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the fountain.
I've tried their Club Sandwich, Latte, Cappuccino, Karak Tea, Amore Salad, and Khameer bread (not sure what it's called exactly, see attached photo!). Every single thing at this cafe is AMAZING.
I've been in search of the BEST club sandwich in UAE, and this cafe definitely has it!
The Khameer bread is SO great. It's served with cream cheese and honey, as well as with sweet noodles.
I would also recommend the Amore Salad for shrimp-lovers. It's something very unique and scrumptious!
The presentation, the food, the service, the location-- everything is great. I think it is a little bit pricey, though.
I would highly recommend this cafe. I wish they had more locations across UAE.

Lips cafe is located in Marina mall and we stopped by after watching a movie. We weren't super hungry due to the movie popcorn but still needed lunch. Their menu offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, and several main entrees. Great for not overeating.
I had the smoked salmon salad. I wish I took a pic because the presentation was nice. It had a good serving of the smoked salmon and the dressing was drizzled on the mixed greens. The dressing was light and not overpowering. It complimented the salmon well. I also had a mango, strawberry serving which came in a large glass and was delicious. They also serve green smoothies.
The kids shared a plate of penne pasta with Alfred sauce with chicken. It was delicious and they are it all. Some Alfredo sauces can be too heavy and cheesy but their sauce was not. It was not too cheesy and the dish overall was very good. They did have a kids menu with about 4-5 items on it. No crayons or paper to keep kids busy so be prepared if you need them.
The hubby had lamp chops with mushroom sauce and veggies. He enjoyed it and stated the chips were tender and moist. The dreamed veggies were crunchy, cooked well, and not mushy.
Overall, I was impressed with Lips cafe. We walked away feeling satisfied and felt good because we didn't overeat and the foods weren't heavy. Good for kids in a way that they can talk and laugh without being too noisy because it is located in the mall. Seating wise, the area is small and it can get very crowded easily. They have high chairs for babies. There are two areas for seating and we were in the smaller area.
We will be back during one of our many shopping/ movie trips. Definitely recommend.
Lips cafe...I would definitely go back anytime for having the Honey cake..it's simply superb...food is good...the shakes I beleive are bit over priced ..so do the other drinks...16 dh for karak chai is bit too much..but I should say they present food and juices very well..you feel attracted by the looks
Lip smacking waffles!! I go to lips cafe just for their warm, yummy waffles with berries n chocolate syrup. By far one of the best waffles I have tasted in town.
I've been going here since before they remodeled. Though the new look is ok, I liked the old Lips better. The seating is not as group friendly as it was before. The prices are a little high compared to other shops in town, but I guess the location drives this aspect of the place. Not a bad place to stop and grab a cup of Joe while shopping.
The Lips the Cafe breakfast at the Marina Mall location is absolutely fantastic if you are looking for an American style breakfast. The service is wonderful, the food fantastic, and should not be missed!!

Visited the place yesterday. I had Chicken Teriyaki and tasted good. Friendly efficient service and the location is situated in the middle of the mall. Next time will be for a cake as they have a nice display. A recommended place for casual meals.
