he food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.hot (not warm) food and oh so good. All in all, a perfect stay!!
A very cozy atmosphere inside! The food was delicious, the lentil soup was very nice and the fish main course meal was just above all expectations (: staff was professional and caring! The outside tables are available but for me would prefer more privacy as there are many other restaurants in the same yard! But overall a nice experience!
Had amazing experience for dinner, and it was such a great time spent there. The fish fillet main course was amazing as we took the full set of dinner. The atmosphere and the friendly staff. All of them were a great combination to make the night done right. Dessert wasn't special though ☺Ieva Neimane

Went there for the new year and I had a great company where we all enjoyed. The place was super busy so I understand that they might miss some orders, but it was great experience overall and the food was fine, not enough portions, but i believe it's normal for the fine dining. Oh wine was great
This has to be the best Italian food serving place ever!! I would like to learn the secrets of their chef - it is that mouth watering. The ambience is nice- it looks like a quaint inn with its faded mint green furniture and faded teal sofas. My husband told me that blue and green are very soothing on the eyes and yes, i felt it made us less distracted and we focus more on the food. And was it delicious! The Gnocci and complimentary bread and the pizza he ordered! It was mouth watering and so filling!!
Must have for Italian food lovers! Thoroughly recommend.

Last week we were invited for the tasting of their new menu at Pappagallo.With this good weather we were seated outside surrounded by live music,dangling festive lights and good vibes throughout.I must say,the service was really good without being too intrusive but yet attentive at the same time.
Upon arrival,we were welcomed with a glass of wine and there was free flowing red & white wine throughout the dinner.The appetizer served was seared tuna which was pretty decent.This was followed by prawn spaghetti which was kindof average for an Italian restaurant,they could have done better.It required more seasoning.
The steak with mushrooms was really good ( and they took extra care of removing mushrooms for my friend who is allergic to it)but the star of the night was the Risotto!!! It was mind blowing! It was rich,creamy,smokey and everyone in the table absolutely loved it to bits.Surprisingly,it was a veg dish & on a normal day seeing risotto with brinjal in the menu i wouldn't bother to order but this one was soo good that i'm definitely going back for more.
Next came the salmon which was perfectly cooked being soft & juicy inside with a bit of crispness.Next to risotto this was my other favorite dish.
The whole night I was waiting for the desserts to be served.Finally when it arrived it looked pretty amazing on the plate but the taste disappointed all of us.There was a shot glass filled with tiramisu,a slice of pistachio cake and a dark chocolate pastry.None of it impressed any of us.
As i said the ambience was really good but i was curious to about how the place looked indoors and took a sneak peek inside and oh my! The whole place looked uprooted from somewhere in Italy and placed in AbuDhabi along with some soft Italian music in the background.Absolutely 5 🌟 for ambience!!!
last Friday we gave it a try and what a hidden gem, I ordered "Fettuccine alla Fiorientena" and i chose spaghetti with pesto sauce..... OMG it was delightful. I would higly recommend for Italian food lovers. The seating is both out and in door.

Excellent pizzas and great ambiance. We tried 6 kinds of pizzas and they were all exceptional: calzone, margarita, Toscana, cinque formaggi.
If you want some fine Italian dining then Pappagallo is the one! Very fancy setting, calm atmosphere and great food. The pizza and risotto are very good. For a romantic dinner I recommend this place!

I have tried the pasta , it's distinctive from other Italian restaurant I have been to. Quite with not much of crowd.

Decent place to have an Italian dinner with all the bells and whistles, of a night around town. Wine list is fine, nothing unexpected not special. My wife likes to go here to have the Quattro Stagioni pizza. The pasta options are decent as well.
One of my favorite places for good pasta and pizza in town , good things is that it's right under my nose so quickly I can always grab a bite and a beer.
The interiors are very classy and colorful a lot of people forgets to take a look inside the place as outdoor dining is quite good, must try sitting inside some time. The food is excellent I normally try the Alfredo pasta extra creamy and cheesy which is yum also one of my favorite pizza diavola is must a try I can have it all by myself simply yum with minced meat sprinkled all over it

Didn't order a big meal just chilling with friends over there..went there last Friday and it's quite lot people~~~but in general it's ok.....
We went there with trepidation after more than a year. Trepidation because the last time we were there, it was awful. This time it was just the opposite and the credit must surely go to Mr Hosny who seems to be their one man show - someone has put a large sketch of him on the wall!
The outdoor seating was fairly packed with white tourists, being the F1 week. Somehow, Hosny managed to get us a nice table in the non smoking area and thankfully no one nearby smoked us out.
The food was delicious, the wine very good and the sorbet at the end most refreshing. Service from Hosny was cheerful and efficient, the poor man seemed to be run off his feet with the crowds.
All in all it was a very pleasant evening and we ended up sitting there almost three hours.
This is pricey but it was worth it and I would certainly go there again.
Being a vegetarian, it's not many choices but the Tucsana here was an amazing pizza and loved the open air ambience. Good food, nice drinks, amazing crowd on a week day. It was almost full. Good for hanging out after a tiring day. Soothing atmosphere

It is safe to say that being born in Abu Dhabi, I was almost raised at Pappagallo's, the Italian restaurant at Le Meridien.
Dining there for so many years, it's like home. However, you don't need to be a regular customer to feel the homeliness and warmth of the place as the staff and ambiance gives off that vibe as soon as you're seated.
With the variety and quality of pizza, pasta, salads and main courses, it is impossible to leave Pappagallo's being disappointed. Even the simplicity of the Margarita pizza amazes me because the taste of the melted cheese is so exquisite. Being a seafood lover, I can say without a doubt that their seafood linguini is the best i've ever had.
There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. it's one of the few places that make the UAE heat extremely bearable with fans placed all around the outside area.
Last but not least, it's hard to forget the trio of musically talented men, originated from the Philippines, who have been performing for each table at Pappagallo's since I was an infant. During the past year I have noticed that they started taking song requests from customers! Their joy and loyalty to the restaurant is truly amazing.
Hats off to the manager, Mr. Hosni, who's picture you can see painted on the wall outside. He is a wonderful man!
