Used groupon voucher . dinner for 7 + children.
The ambiance is nice . Has a kids play area which my kids loved it. I was surprised about it.
Staff are very friendly excluding the restaurant reception staff , booking was done through phone, it was very obvious and very embarrassing in front of my guests her facial expressions and forsing smile. We had voucher for the kids too but she wasn't happy.
Food wise:
Food was good in general , appetizers were up to my expectations, not that much successful moroccan dishes, kids had only smiles fries choice. Even pasta wasn't one of their choice .
The most I loved is the stuffed vine leaves, coffee was available although it wasn't breakfast time.
An excellent place to unwind with the family. The restaurant is nicely located one level above the lobby, it has a small children area as well. The overall buffet spread was nice. The live cooking for grills was excellent and the service staff good as well. All in all a very good experience.
Flavours is magnificently decorated in a traditional Arabic style. Offering very soothing vibes, it gives you a sense of calm as you break your fast and feed your soul. The dim gold lighting gave it a more warm feel. The interiors and the decor was so beautiful and chic. Flavours Restaurant at Sheraton Abu Dhabi welcomes you with an exceptional set up of dry fruits that includes various types of dates, figs, apricots, raisins, and more.
Actually, especially if you’re a five-star hotel – and double-especially if you’ve been the capital’s center of hospitality since 1979!. There’s a risk of going overboard with glitz – clearly, gigantic ice sculptures, peacock feather arrangements, and faux gold all over the place is a mistaken avenue, yet one that so many top hotels head down in their efforts to impress.
Thank you Flavours Restaurant for the amazing dinner experience.
Buffet with a lot of main dishes .
Good place to enjoy a dinner .
Food quality : 5 ⭐️
Service : 5 ⭐️
Ambience : 4 ⭐️
Special thanks to Mr Avinash .
He made our dinner special . We loved the lentil soup . Prepared with a lot of love .
This restaurant made us feel like home .
Highly recommended
We had our office get together here last Thursday. We had a group of 25 for buffet lunch and service was good. Buffet spread was just decent and not generous like other options at Abu Dhabi. Ambience is superb and justifies being part of Sheraton. However, more options in main course will make them more attractive for guests. overall a good place for lunch but I would say better options are available at this price.
The restaurant has a buffet breakfast service that is very comprehensive. There are live cooking stations for the eggs and s choice of items to suit any diet plan. There are changes to the options daily with orientalists, European and Indian breakfast favorites available. The great unique factor is a small enclosed children’s play area where little ones can be watched while the grown ups eat. The fresh salads, hot food and fruits are all of s very high standard. The only let down were the pastry items that needed to be better quality. Pancakes are at times more like English muffins, a correction was made that improved the appearance (photos show 2 next to each other), if this is improved there would be no others faults to find, seating is comfortable and staff are very helpful and welcoming. The chef is highly professional and attentive to the guests personally.
For the brunch
Make the food better
There should be more experience and more taste
There was no variety in the food
But the atmosphere and the band were amazing !!!
I always go for Friday brunch, the variety of food is amazing, they have something for everyone, and the quality of the food is really good. Chilled atmosphere, live music and friendly staff. Also the price is really good for what they offer.
Restaurants in Sheraton is awesome. We're on staycation last EID and the food, Oh so yummy. We we're happy with Breakfast Buffet. It's actually my first. I love the congee soup, sushi, mushroom, pancake, there's more to mention.

We loved the variety of dishes at Flavours, Sheraton Hotel & Resort. My daughter enjoyed her meals and we did too! The staff are friendly and helpful. The majority of the guests are families during the Eid Holidays. It was overall a great experience
I've tried the lunch open buffet. Nothing special. Food is tasty but no choices at all . For the main course they served rosto , pasta , grilled chicken, fish with tahina kousa mahshi and they considered the steam rice and the steam vegetables as a main course choices . The salad bar had much variety than the main course bar . Desserts also were so limited. I was a kind of disappointed. I appreciate that I requested french fries for my baby and the served it for me . Staff were friendly. The view over the swimming pool was nice as well .
Per dirham this has got to be the best brunch going..
While i stand by Ritz Carlton and Emirates Palace being the pack leaders, the Sheraton is about half the price... this means you can go twice!!!
This is the only place ive been that has a pork section, but its totally separate from the rest of the food.
The selection is enormous and they are very generous with the drinks. Smoking is separate but theres a nice little seating area where you can take your drinks, so this didnt cause any problems.
Definitely somewhere id like to go again.
This review is for the Iftar buffet.
Food: 3/5.
Food was good... not the best That I had, but I wouldn't say I won't eat there anymore. There was a wide selection of appetizers and salads, main dishes and sweets (wide selection of Arabic sweet which is convenient for the Ramadan but they weren't very tastey and some were not freshly made).
Ambience: 3.5/5
The theme was very nice, showing the authentic ramadan decorations and background music, but because the restaurant was trying not waste a single inch and trying to squeeze a table where ever they can, the place became really congested with tables which many of were empty. Now since it's Ramadan and it's a good month for restaurants I guess every restaurant will behave that way.
Service: 4/5
The staff and service were kind, helpful and attentive.
Cost: 4/5
It's an acceptable price for what you get.
Amazing service and great food. Been there for Iftar with brother. Tried jallab for first time.😀..
Variety of dessert.... Will recommend my friends and family.
Ramadan tym is the best out here loved the food the variety the environment its really peaceful .... thanks to you Sana Sande it was a very good experience ... the price is also reasonable for the food you get here ... deserts , main course juices everything is lovly give it a try guys...
All I can say it's one of the most luxurious restaurant.
One thing I was planning to use discount voucher but they shocked me it's not valid for sea food night so I paid the whole amount of money. One thing was strange to us that we paid for parking this my first time I had food and then pay for car parking.
For sea food lovers this is the place.
Sheraton is easy to find but parking is hectic. Don't even dare to try the valet as they park your car wherever they can. Even if there is Mawaquif parking, they are all taken and you need to be ready to walk for a quite long distance under the heat.
The hotel is a bit small compared to other in Abu Dhabi but it is okay.
The staff is not the most friendly in town but is still correct.
Unfortunately they let people smoke indoor in a designated area. A very bad idea.
There is a live band playing on stage. But as the restaurant is small, it is very noisy. So you need to shout when you talk to your neighbor.
The food is good. Not a lot of choice compared to other restaurants who also offered Friday brunch in Abu Dhabi.
My conclusion is: Staff is okay. Food is okay. Poor selection though. Place is noisy. They should not allow people to smoke inside because there are families and kids.
Will I recommend it? Why not, but you are already aware that it is not one of the best in town.
Last Sea food night was Marvellous.. I like Oysters and grilled shrimps..Service was excellent all the staff....one of the best economic buffets in Abu Dhabi
Tried the iftar buffet on 1st July 2016. The food was really good. The BBQ (chicken, beef and mutton) was very properly cooked. The chicken biryani was not spicy at all. The salads were fresh and tasty. The apple and pineapple tarts were delicious.
I attended an Iftar preview here. In my opinion, this Iftar is great for those who prefer something light. Flavours has a wide variety of salads and healthy options. Apart from the popular Ouzi, another thing worth trying out is the lamb shank. For those with a sweet tooth, there's every Arabic sweet that I know off including Kunafa and my absolute favourite Umm Ali (which is delicious by the way) and other international favorites such as Bombay Halwa, Panna Cotta and a dedicated gelato counter.
It was a really great experience dining with Flavours. It was our second time here and we're even more impressed than the first time.Great selection of food, very friendly staff and excellent ambiance. We brought our friends here for a dinner before they left Abu Dhabi for good and they were really glad with the experience. They really felt special when they were presented with a dedication cake which I requested upon booking.Hoping to come back and dine again soon!
It was a buffet and I stuffed myself! Literally!
The food is great, ambience is perfect!
Wide selection of desserts but the main that I really liked were a few.
It was great experience there as me n my wife choose this restaurant for my birthday.
Food selection is ok but as wht I seen Indian food have less options although we tried from the live cooking area it was great taste fish Manchurian. Sweet section have a lots of options and fresh fruits was also nice.
At the end I got surprise birthday cake from the restaurant which was arranged by my wife.
Great place...great food and ambiance .Excellent customer service.Celebrated my sons first birthday. It was the perfect place to celebrate... Guests enjoyed the food ..it was an Indian themed night ..food was superb. The staff was really very helpful in organising everything. I highly recommend this place.
Really lavish buffet with good food. everything and anything you would expect at a continental style buffet.
their sushi station is also very good. They too tend to overcook their meat a little though.
I really enjoyed the deserts.
service was good and everyone attending to guests were pleasant
