Julius, LT, Loriane wait staff were friendly and great service. The mountain of prawns were great as well.
I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The employees are very friendly specially the manager, he always make sure that everything is okay or not. The quantity is good compared to the quality of the food.
There is an offer where you can order shrimps and refill for free forever. But the problem is the offer is available on Sunday and Monday only, i wish if it is available every day. Surely will visit again

Jimmy's Killer Prawns is a South African chain of restaurants, situated in the Mushrif Mall on the Airport road, Abu Dhabi. They have also opened a branch in the Al Wahda Mall and there's a new outlet opening soon in Khalidiya!

Though you wouldn't go to a place called 'Jimmy's Killer Prawns' for anything but their seafood, we found the 'Jimmy's Amazing Ribs', to be truly succulent and amazing.

They do have an assortment of mixed seafood and mixed meat platters, but why bother. Its the prawns that shine and shine they do. Their dipping sauces are also excellent and flavorful.
We also ordered the seafood paella and it was spot on. The Paella was literally overflowing with shellfish, mussels, chicken and prawns. My only gripe is that the prawns and mussels in the paella are not de-shelled, and I think they should be. A minor inconvenience.

Our all time favourite is Prawns and the best place to get your hands on some flavourful prawns is at Jimmy Prawns. One needs to get those forks and knives away and just pick and dig and dip to enjoy them to the fullest.
We ordered for the Killer Platter with 18 pieces of Medium sized prawns served with 1 side (we could satisfy ourselves to the fullest with these) ...Crispy and well done, the trio sauces and the sides complimented the prawns well.
The Calamari RIngs fried/crumbed were good too and came along with French fries. -These were tasty and crispy and medium sized rings.
Are we planning a visit again??

I can confirm the great and tasty food coming from Jimmy’s Killer Prawns. Done to perfection. The packing is great as well, the only issue I have with them is always the delay in delivery which is annoying.

Surf and turf is a satisfying meal full of flavour. Although slightly expensive it is value for money because of its quality. I would recommend this dish.

Our first and second dine were fantastic! Always comfortable and relaxing. Dining table and couch are spacious. Food were perfectly delicious and we always have take away because the food were sufficiently served, too much of prawns. :D On our recent visit, had my favorite Paella and tried sushi rolls, it’s surprising that it does really taste good, was a worth to try. Would love to have it agin and there’s more to discover. ❤️

I'm so happy that I have this place a chance. I really enjoyed their calamari and their prawns (both fried). Customer service was nice as well with explaining a few things and allowing me to make my order custom. The only really for 4 stars as opposed to a 5 star rating is the delivery time.
I would recommend this restaurant to others. Please, management if you could, it would be nice to add 2 additional drivers so customers aren't waiting more than 1 hour for their food. Other than that, the food and my experience was nice.
This place is just amazing . I ordered 2 sushi platters . Of these which were amazing i had a 2 kinds of appetizers . The Grantineed Prawns . Which was 6 prawns cooked and covered with cheese and garlic sauce which is heaven for cheese lovers . And the prawn cocktail i guess its known to everyone but the one they make here is heaven prawns place is totally recommended stuff are just amazing and really helpful and smiley . My favourite casual restaurant after Mosaic. I go there almost every week, the prawns are amaaaazing. They offer a mountain of prawns for 99AED and accept entertainer vouchers. Not sure they enrolled in zomato gold yet.

If you love shrimps and you are craving some this is your place , I honestly underestimated the place n didn’t expect their shrimps to be that good.Also, they told me in weekdays they have unlimited Prawn day where you can have all the shrimps you want 😍 I ordered mine with their spicy sauce .

Every time Im craving for seafoods the first line of restaurants my friends will suggest to me is Jimmy's Killer Prawns , so one lunch me and my friend dine here.
We ordered The Seafoods Flatter which is full of Squids and prawns and some onions rings with 1 cup of Java Rice . The second is the Steak platter which We also love because of the tenderness of the steak and again a lot of prawns are included in this platter. For our drinks we decided to have orange juice which is very refreshing and arranged in a good presentation .
Staffs are also accommodating and nice to us. I can say that they are one of good seafood destination here in abudhabi 👏👌🏻

Jimmy's Killer prawns is a must try when you get to visit Mushrif mall.Ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and staff are accomodating and attentive. We ordered seafood platter which consist of shrimps,baked mussels with creamy white sauce,calamari ,fried fish fillet,fries,and rice.Dipping sauce is also included.I must say the shrimps are freshly grilled as it taste delicious and juicy. Baked mussels though taste a little bland but you can use the dipping sauce to balance the taste.All in all food is great and will be trying out some more from there menu one of this days.:)

We had our dinner with my wife and my baby yesterday. Excellent customer service by renz, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He knows the food and explains each varieties very well. We had a clear seafood soup, and prawns and calamari. My baby had his favorite strawberry milkshake.

Ahh Jimmy's Killer Prawns... This resto is definitely one of my faves. My family and I usually eat here whenever we go to Mushrif Mall. The ambience here is nice as well as the staffs. Foods are great!
SUSHI here is the best I've tried so far in Abu Dhabi. Whenever I crave for sushi, I order from them. 50.00 for a 20 pcs combo roll is quite cheap considering its quality. I am not a fan of sashimi, but their sashimi is too good to resist. A must try!

Had the lunch deal. I got the pasta with shrimp dish can't remember the name. It wasn't great they had tiny prawns in the pasta. My frnd got the grilled shrimp and that was better and their sides was better too... Fries and sauteed vegetables. The serving portion was also very less compared to other places at this price range. So i wouldn't go there again.

Jimmy's killer prawns is really a killer. They got one of the best tasting shrimps here in abu dhabi. They served various shrimps dishes keeping the freshness and quality of their ingredients. The ambiance inside their restaurant is nice and staffs are accommodating.
I ordered online and got the 10% discount :) i paid cash ... and there food is so good ... they even came b4 time.. i love there shrimps ... went there many times for sushi and author items ... they impressed me with there timing write order quiqer then ever and the most important is the food + discount😍

We ordered Killer Combos - half chicken, 4 Jimmy's Prawns, Mussels, Linefish, Chips, Rice and Onion Rings. Lamb chops served with mushroom sauce, chips and onion rings. Ambiance was neat and awesome. Staffs were ready to assist the customer. Great job! Will visit again^^

I went here with friends in my recent visit to Abu Dhabi. We wanted seafood after having too much meat in Dubai. With the name and logo alone, there was no doubt that prawns are the main attraction. This was further reinforced when we stepped in.
The place was almost empty when we came so we had the choice of where to sit. The staffs were somewhat distracted at first which meant having to really call their attention so we can place our orders. The service improved once the food started coming. They were more attentive and periodically checked in on our group.
We decided to go for the platters and combo meals. We ordered prawn platter, captains hook, poseidon platter and prawn fiesta. The prawns were excellent. They were beautifully cooked, delicious and succulent. The different dips enhanced the flavour of the prawns. My main choice was the classic lemon and butter. It never overpowers the prawns. The other items on our platters were no where near the quality of the prawns. The grilled calamari was a far second. It was soft and tasty but short of impressive. The mussels were ok but forgettable. The chicken breast was dry and bland. The rump steak was also disappointing - it was too tough and too dry.
In a place like this, it is best to stick to the speciality. I wished we had. That way, we wouldn't have wasted the chicken and the steak and could have enjoyed more prawns.
The most yummy shrimp resto I ever tried. Even though it's a bit far from my home but it's worth it. The price is average with lots of choices with and without shrimps. They have awesome shrimp combos. It's worth to go back again. Thanks Jimmy. Can't wait to visit you again. The only thing I don't like is the fish fillet not sure if it's dory. It taste weird but thank god I order it with shrimps.

We had ordered Baked Cheese Mushrooms for starters (which were delicious) and the Prawns & Calamari and Mocambique platter for main course. The serving portions are generous, the service is great, but their USP has to be their prawns: they are killer. I've never had such great tasting prawns before.
I didn't even need to dip them in the 3 complimentary sauces provided to enjoy them. The grilled Calamari was awesome too.

This is the first restaurant I have been visit since I got here in Abu Dhabi few weeks ago. We dine here after we watched a movie. Staff are all nice and friendly. Their salad is good. Prawns was tasty that I just ate one cup rice with one prawns... I enjoy their food a lot, their steak was mouthwatering... This place is perfect when your craving for prawns and other seafoods. 👌👌👌
I loved the place, the stuff were too nice and ready to answer our questions. The food quality was too nice and tasty. I ordered dragon roll sushi and grilled prawns and cocktail shrimp with Pink sauce and Greek salad with one kids meal "chicken nuggets and fries". It was delicious and well cooked.
