An authentic Turkish restaurant serving delicious dishes with the best service you can get in any restaurant in town. You know the place serves the best when the Owner Ahmed, himself visits your table and enquires about your experience. He and his waiters make sure you leave this place with a smile and full tummy. Best dishes are the Chagh Kabab and the Lahmacuns, and make sure you end with the amazing Kunafa.

This place is an absolute gem! We love the food, ambience and the service they provide.
We tried their spicy lahmacun- thin and crispy flat bread with a delicious topping. Yum! Their charcoal grilled chicken, mixed platter and chagh kababs were gorgeous! Plenty for the price point. I loved the aryan! Everything about thisnplace just brings a huge smile to your place.
The restaurant has a good ambience and the staff are very accomodating. The owners are friendly and their food was delicious. It has a great value for money

Not expected at all, the food really Turkish flavour , the meat very well done , Tikka , Kebab, Askandar Kebab all all were excellent.

Excellent ambiance & great hospitality. It felt like having dinner at home. They have us few kebabs to try on the house of which the cheese kebab was just awesome. Food was tasty and service was spot on. A little hidden gem but not for long. Will be going here again next time we are in Abu Dhabi. #chaghkabab

I just love the shish tawouk sandwich which i order on the regular, awesome saj sandwich, the other food is great too everything tasting wonderful, the kebab sandwiches and the pomegranate sauce is so good too , always try that if you love a kebab sandwich 👏🏻

Honestly, this is a really great place for some Turkish food. The sheesh kabab, and chicken kebabs were amazing. So were the breads. And kunafa was lipsmackingly good. Perfect sweetness and crispiness and cheesiness damn. The only letdown was the lahmacun, it tasted good, but a bit overpriced. And also I wished they gave complimentary salad along with the main course.
But everything else, service , the taste, prices of everything else, and the fact that they have Zomato gold is all worth a visit, not just once but many times. Go ahead people.

Excellent restaurant and welcoming staff. Everybody should get to know Mr Ahmed and his staff. The servings are awesome and tasty. Chagh kabab is not just another kabab, tastes and flavour are typical. Really enjoyed every meal i took there.
Zomatoed for this 500 gms grill that came with hummus and toum and green salad. Every piece of meat was juicy and succulent! I found this place only through zomato! I totally recommend this turkish restaurant for their kebabs!

If you want to try Turkish cuisine in budget, it is the best restaurant to try on. The Manager was really very polite and caring in terms of service. Would give 5 star for service. Their sandwiches are real gold. Not really fulfilling but tasty as heaven. They suggested us to try Laban Airan which is Turkish Laban and again it was amazing. The platter is also good. Overall great restaurant with amazing staff.!😀👍👌

Amazing food!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Their bread comes to you straight out of the bakery, dip it with the hummus while you wait for the big dish to cook.
I prefer their chicken over the meat, although I love both equally.
I recommend you order the Cag Tavuk, which comes with amazing tomato burgol, you will be full in a good way.
I’ve also tried their chicken shawarma, it is worth the try.

We went there speacilly for cağ kebab . It was amazing . And we ordered mix kebab and it wanst tasty . Meat was smeling really bad . Salad portion was very small . After dinner we ordered tea . Tea was amazing too . I can only say for this place they know how they will make cağ kebab 👍🏻

1st time in chagh kabab, 1st of all parking is very difficult better if u come by taxi! Staff friendly and quick service. A/c isn't cooling well. Food is delicious and fresh, i have ordered mix grill its tasty, juicy, light, well spiced. Recommended.
This little hidden place it's absolutely worth of giving it a try! It's small cozy and really good!!! Their meat skewers and kebabs are amazing! The fresh yogurt drink, served with a proper foamy head in the traditional copper jug it's so authentic that it brings me to the heart of Istanbul in a blink of an eye. And then they got this flat freshly baked bread topped with minced meat and some kind of tomato capsicum mix that is to die for. Absolutely a must try!! Recommended!!

One of the sweetest places iv been to in a while. Small, cozy located in the heart of abu dhabi serving the best kebabs and with the best service! Winner all the way!
We had the half kg platter so we could have a taste of all the kebabs and the cocktails. All the meat was very succulent and perfectly cooked. The dips, all complimentary, were very good as well! And must mention the amazing hot bread they serve only on request! Hot hot from the oven! We couldnt have enough of the bread! The drinks i must admit werent the best, tho nothing much to complain about.
A special mention for wonderful service! Brilliant!

Chagh kabab is the best grill I have ever had in AbuDhabi ever. I ordered chegh kebab and chegh tawook and they were both amazing. Each one has its amazing unique taste where it gives you new experience with grilled meat. Kunafa was just right, out wasn't too heavy and the tease was enjoyable.
Authentic grill! Here you go! I thought I had the taste of the best grill here in Abu Dhabi, but when we ate here, I felt like my perception changed. The Chagh Kabab, the best seller is a must-try. All of them are equally great, juicy, well-seasoned and goes well with the freshly baked 'balloon bread' (unlimited), it was fresh, soft and warm topped with sesame seeds. We also tried the green salad which is also one of our favorites. The service was over-the-top esp. the Filipino guy who let us try their lamb because he knew it was out first time and guided us what to order. He was very attentive to our needs and makes sure we are enjoying our food. Interiors wise, nicely decorated walls as well as the grill area.
I always come for the chagh kabab sandwich, it is perfect that I never try anything else.. There kunafa is ok you can find better kunafa in AD.
Really impressed. For what might look like a generic takeaway kebab place it turned out to be a nice sit down restaurant. Very friendly, extremely quick and 10/10 for presentation. Obviously very popular with people in and out all the time and 3 out of the 7 tables reserved when I walked in. And when I tried leaving a tip it was graciously handed back to me due to their 'no tip' policy (not sure if that's a good thing as the service industry normally relies on it, but worth mentioning). Keep an eye out for the Persian dressed staff handing out menus and free tasters as you drive by!
The grills were top notch, appetizers and salads were mouth watering, and the freshly baked bread they serve is amazing! also the service was excellent. I recommend this restaurant if you're craving Turkish food.

At last me and my husband decided to try this Turkish restaurant after they have opened the shop for almost a couple of years. We went slightly before dinner knowing this small restaurant is usually full during peak hours.It' s small and if there was a crowd, I wouldn't feel comfortable. Interior deco is nice with fully open kitchen with it's clay oven.It has that 'authentic' feel.The servers were friendly.will give you recommendations if you ask.Recommended their popular dishes. Being meat eaters, we ordered the cag kebab and kusbasili. Both are grilled mutton pieces ( we are not a fan of ground meat).Kusbasili is served on the small coal grill and cag kebab was served on a plate.For both dishes, you'll get a side of rice and condiment.The large turkish bread was made fresh and they'll top it if it's finish. Our verdict.. We liked it! The marinate and seasoning of the grilled meat which what made the dish special. It's different from the other tikkas we usually have. Meat are slightly charred which gave it its distinct taste.The small side of rice was delicious.Slightly 'tomato'ey..with the right amount of seasoning. The bread was huge and of course hot and freshly made. The only downside was the salad. Didn't think it was worth the price. Otherwise..Overall experience..thumbs up! We came back for a second..third...👍
Chagh Kabab is one of my favorite restaurants in Khalidiya. They have prompt service and their Chagh Kabab is so sumptuous and juicy, just the aroma makes you want to keep coming back for more. The fresh bread is served piping hot and is a great accompaniment. Would recommend this place for a quick lunch during office hours as well as a leisure dinner.

Great little Turkish restaurant near the corniche area. The Istanbul kebap tavuk and the sis tavuk are great. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the entire platter was presented very well. The Turkish Chai was quite nice and in good quantity. Service is excellent and they are generous with the bread / naan which was made very nicely too. Definitely one of the top few restaurants in this area.

Chagh kabab- a Turkish delight! tiny outlet but makes it up with it's great tasting food and ambiance. Oh, and how could I forget their amiable service.
We started off with the frozen yogurt drink. After reading people rave about it, I had to try it. Cold and smooth with tones of middle eastern spices. Went really well with all the dishes.
We ordered two main-courses-Grilled cag kabab special (mixed platter) and Antep lahmukan(meat pastry). The platter consisted of 3 varieties of kabab. The mutton variety stood far superior to the chicken. Downfall was that the meat became tough pretty soon which made it hard to eat. This was served with pickles, hummus bread and some rice. Rice was a total let down.. The Antep lahmukan was absolutely delicious. Perfect blend of minced meat and spices on a flat bread.
All throughout the meal we were offered complimentary bread which was served hot, fresh out of the the oven
For dessert we had the Kunafa and muhalabieh. I was a bit skeptic about the kunafa since the ones I've had were a sugar overdose. However, this kuanfa was served with sugar syrup on the side so that we could adjust the sweetness according to our liking. The kunafa was a winner. Crispy outer layer with strings of sweetened cheese served warm. Muhalabieh was subtle with hints of rose water and a nice smooth-creamy texture.
We ended the meal with some turkish tea.
A must-visit for those who want to try authentic turkish food inclusive of a delightful experience.
Nice food... have tried quite q few times and they have all been satisfactory.
Seating capacity is a problem but a couple of rounds do not harm.
Checked in here because of zomato😊 I was waiting to have their frozen yoghurt drink but it didn't match upto my expectation. It had a burnt taste but anyhow I gulped it down because it was really cold.
The chicken sandwich was very yummy.
The chicken tuk was a meal on its own and is enough for two light eaters.
The staff are very pleasant.
Maybe I went there on an off night but to me the food was tastey but not great.
I ordered hummous for starters but bare in mind that the food came with a small individual serving of hummous but dont know if this is the same for all dishes.
Ordered the cag kepap which is lamb skwewered on a grill. Was a bit tough, slightly over done and underseasoned for my liking but it was lamb and i love lamb so it was still tastey nonetheless. Came with burgul or cracked wheat which to me was like enlarged couscous grains. Nice.
Ended with the fresh Kunafa. This was amazing. Served warm, crisp on the outside with a gooey cheese center in the middle accompanied with sugar syrup on the side making you in control of how sweet you want it. . .Best kunafa ive had!

Ok so this was one restaurant I was dying to review once I got my chance to . Firstly,I got to try out a new cuisine which was very exciting to be honest and going to Chagh's Kebabs made it all the more better. For appetizers , we had bread with Turkish Humus.(pictured below ).The bread is so soft and flat ,kind of like the middle eastern version of an Indian Naan.The flavors just melt in your mouth and it's amazing .We also ordered a Tabouleh salad .I've never tried this salad before but it was some mix of minced greens with dressing.The flavors were an explosion on my palette.I loved it ! Now,for those who like Yogurt/Curd ,I recommend tasting the Turkish Yogurt Drink(pictured below) .It comes in a cute little copper vessel topped with froth ,it's truly a delight.For the main course , we had a Cag Tavuk and Mixed Grill Platter (both pictured below )The mixed grill platter was just like any other ,filled with different assortments of charred meat.The Cag Tavuk ,now that was different .It's basically ,chicken grilled over wood fire placed on a skewer .Along with that you have,onion,parsley,tomatoes and pickles.It tastes delicious.I would highly recommend that to any meat lover.We also ordered Falafel (pictured below) but that wasn't as appetizing or impressive as the rest of the dishes.It's kind of a let down to be honest.Last but definitely,not the least , we had Turkish tea and it was sweeeeeet as camomile .If you ever do get a chance to go to this place,I suggest sitting next to the open oven area where you see the chef himself prepare the bread in a special way and it's really nice to watch ! To end this review , on a high note I would say Chagh's Kebab is definitely one of THE hidden gems in Abu Dhabi.A must visit for all.
It's not only food that stimulates your tastebuds but the atmosphere where you sit in. The styling of this café was beautiful and I literally felt being in Turkey. The people who welcomed me there admired me with their hospitality too. Though, I was shocked after seeing the menu as the items were overpriced with respect to the neighboring cafés, but the taste compensated that as it was something different yet amazing. The chicken cubes were spreaders over some dish, I done what it was but tasted amazing. What I was not able to try at this place was the lamb specialities which I later enquired about.
Superb tavouks great stuff. Relaxed env but a lol congested. Good for weekend dinners and quick lunch, sitting inside is lil bit difficult bcos of heat.
