I had been here for lunch. The kebabs here are very soft and delicious. The doner peta and the special sofra kebab (1.5 meters) is a must try. The staff are very friendly and got good hospitality. The restaurant has been well maintained with 2 meter distance each and the temperatures were checked for whoever entered the restaurants. The tables were also sanitized and kept clean. Over all had a very good experience.
Still remember the taste of their food . It was so delicious and quantity is also filling . Great ambiance and super food . A must visit restaurant in AbuDhabi

Very delicious food and very friendly staff. The gold discount is so worth it. The best Turkish restaurant in town. They also provide you with complimentary stuff with your food like salad, tea, and some dessert.
I have visited this restaurant recently and was surprised with taste. It was good and fresh but only issue was staff not aware of menu. When we asked about most running or famous items serving boy was completely blank. Though staff was polite. Overall very good experience.
This restaurant in #abudhabi serves the best turkish food with real taste. 👌 The décor is absolutely beautiful. Really loved blue colored theme with gorgeous cielling lamps and giant wall art on the staircase.
The location is convinient with easy access to parking.
We ordered Meat Iskander and it was great. Meat was so tender and juicy. It has layer of bread underneath meat which was fully soaked in the red tomato sauce and served with youghurt.
We also tried Chicken Doner served with humus. Hummus was spread underneath chicken and tasted great with pickles. A basket of bread was served with food.
Service was quick and efficient and staff was helpful in guiding what to try. We also had complimentary Turkish Tea which made our whole experience much more enjoyable.
They accept #zomatogold and prices are very reasonable. We are definitely going back in for more dishes to try.

I like their shawarma and the Turkish dishes. The kebab can be improved but all other meat plates are very nice. Prices are in the range for Turkish food overall Strongly recommended.
Food is perfect. We ordered a sujuk pide, iskender and beyti and they were flawless. The complementary bread and dips were also amazing. The decor and service were both nice. I am giving 4 not 5 stars because the dessert was not up to expectatations, not their speciality.

Everything was nice and food was amazing. The only thing I didn't like, every table they serve a free Hummus and bread but because we are going to use Zomato Gold they charged us ... So its like you didn't save anything.
We ordered:
•Fattoush: very tasty but wish if it has more cucumber.
•Stuffed Vine Leaves: nice and tastier with lemon.
•Lahmacun: delicious and crispy.
•Sofra Mix Grill: nice but there was a piece of bone-on chicken that was not that tasty.
•Shish Tawooq: nice.
Lovely looking place with some really delicious free bread. Probably could have picked a better main as it came with even more bread but I'll be back. Great Z gold choice.
Brought my parents, whom were visiting us, and my kids for a wonderful and quiet lunch. I heard so much about this place so I decided let’s give it a try! It was absolutely delicious! There was nothing we ordered that was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to serve us. They joked with the kids and were extremely polite. We ordered mixed grill, diner meat platter, shish tawook platter, Sofra burger, penne paste and cheese and sajuk pide. Definitely coming back!

Used to live accross the road and got many positive feedback about Sofra but didn't get a chance to go in and try it. Finally gor a chance to visit them yesterday and I was feeling bad for being late to go there. It is really a mini Istanbul, amazing interior traditional lights and the food was really delicious.
Tried some authentic turkish items and myslef n family were happy. I couldn't try the deserts as were so full and hopefully next time.
I love this place starting from their welcome appetizers till there delicious yellow tea.

Im came to this to this restaurant many time in the past s3 years and still , my favorite meal is Turkish kebabs with a cup of yogurt . I also tried a dish called ali Nazek and it was very delicious.
The cebab here is provided based on lenght not weight, so go there and ask for 1 meter leng cebab either meat or chicken or combination of both.
Its suitable also For family and friends gatherings, very busy in the holidays and weekends so you may not be able to find a car parking ,this restaurant is really worth the to try.
Its been quite a while since i have been longing to try this place and finally got the chance today. The seating ambience for family is excellent,loved their interiors.The food service was very quick and thanks to the waiter Ashraf. I would definitely recommend this place for a good Turkish food experience. And just forgot to mention their unlimited complimentary tea which made the whole experience complete.

Since I was craving for something Turkish I decided to get food ordered from here. The delivery was prompt and the food was neatly packed. Since It was an online order the restaurant had 15% discount.I had ordered for hummus with meat, lahmacun and an orange juice apart from that the food came along with 2 big Turkish bread , small size muhamarra and hummus. The food was good but the only thing I had a problem was I expected fried meat on the hummus than the shredded shawarma meat. Overall it’s was good.

The one meter Kabab takes some time to arrive but it’s delicious. Kunafa could have been a little better. Ambience in the family section is very pleasant! Waiting to try T-bone Kebab in my next visit.
In my opinion, this is the best Turkish restaurant in Abu Dhabi that is affordable.
My favourites on their menu are Chicken Iskender, Kebab and the Lahmacun. I also go there to grab a quick bite for lunch. They serve flavour filled doner kebab sandwiches.

It was our first experience here today. We were not sure where to go for dinner and just searched Turkish food and found it with the highest ratings. The parking was a bit problem, may be due to weekend. The ambience is not very fancy but very clean and spacious. The place was very crowded due to Friday but staff was very efficient and within a minute when we settled down, we were attended. We ordered Chicken Sauté and Grilled chicken. It took around 20 minutes for the food but it was indeed marvelous and cooked to perfection. Chicken Sauté was something like Pakistani Chicken Karahi but with thick gravy and mushroom. Grilled was also well done and tasted perfect. Indeed it’s a place where you can come back again to try other dishes.
The best thing you can try here the doner or Shawrma its really good, I didn’t like the mix grill also you can try Manakish its good specially cheese
One of the good Turkish restaurants in town. Very reasonable price and good service. Parking is a big issue outside the restaurant. Their flavor is great as well as their bread is served hot and fresh.

Good decor with a teal vibe, Sofra Istanbul offers some great Turkish delicacies. The cold mezze plate with bread was phenomenal and the grills could've been added some more flavor but nonetheless good. Pides were amazing. Definitely will visit again.
By far the best Turkish I had at UAE. Had hummus with meat, mix grill, Ali nasik and salad. All were equally amazing and fresh. Tea is unlimited free which added to the taste.
The sause (complimentary) is a must have.
I had been here for the iftar buffet with my friends. There was huge a spread which included Arabic style Biryani with slices of tender and succulent meat pieces, variety of kababs, salads and also a shawarma corner. Three kinds of drinks were a part of the buffet which is hard to find in any other iftar buffet. Overall we had a lovely iftar buffet and I would strongly recommend this to all those who like to have turkish food.
I have been there once with couple of colleagues after really busy day. The staff there were really friendly and welcoming.
we had lentil soup, beyti kebab, ali nazek kabab, doner, Kobbeh and Gavurdagi Salad.
The Salad was decent, though t wasn't the best I have tried but still good.
Beyti kabab and Doner were really good, Ali Nazek Kabab was super.
Then, we had Baklava with ice cream and Fistikli Sarma, the sweets were super.
It was really great experience specially with the sweets.

This isn't my first time eating at this restaurant, but it has been years since I last visited, actually exactly 4 years.
For me, what makes a restaurant alomst perfect is their ability to maintain their taste, service and style throughout the years, and believe me, this is one for the biggest challenges in order to retain your guests.
If you are driving there don't worry, there is always someone by the door and they will take good care of your car while you are enjoying one of their favourites; the mighty 1 meter kebab.
I won't say more, just try if for yourself, return and like this comment, coz I probably just recommended the best Turkish..... Ever!

Good place to try some Turkish food and delights. Here is the detail review;
Atmosphere/Environment: 7/10. Only indoor option. Comfortable and clean place but little noisy when it is crowded.
Food: 7/10. They give complimentary salad and dipping with hot bread which is always good while waiting for the food. I have been there several times so i tried their mix grill, kebabs, iskender, shawarma, lahmacun, ezo gelin soup and kunefe as dessert. All tastes good. The only minus i can tell is for them using lamb meat in their doner (shawarma). That gives strong taste that many people don`t prefer eating lamb meat alone. I believe they should mix or increase the calf meat ratio.
Price: 7/10. Mostly prices are OK except some kebab prices alone which i believe expensive for a Turkish Restaurant. However you can order mix. grill half or 1 kg with a very reasonable price.
Service: 8/10. Everything was OK. Fast service and good staff. You can drink your complimentary Turkish tea after nice dinner as well.
Sofra is one of my best goto Turkish places
I recommend their alinazik dish which is beef with their eggplant puree and their princess kabab which is minced kabab with pistachio (heavenly) served with burgol like rice and their baqlawa is to die for ,they serve complementary labneh and sauces and their greasy home made Turkish bread is by itself heavenly and after they serve complementary Turkish tea
However parking is an issue on weekdays

Good turkish place with good service. We were there for an early dinner in the late afternoon. Grape leaves were nice, so was the Lahmacum. Finally the shish tawouk was succulent and tasty. Recommended

Let me just say this place will make sure you're really full! They start with complimentary salad and pita bread with 4 different dips. We had the 1 metre kebab (half chicken and half lamb) and it was amazing. Its perfect for 4 people. And to end it all we got complimentary Turkish tea which makes you feel surprisingly light. Definitely check this place out!
Very recently i noticed this restaurant. Abudhabi is a place which doesn have good restaurants compared to dubai. But if you go this place, you will change your mind.. very well set place.. posh intierior.
Tried meat with hummous, and tikka mutton. Their bread is very good. A set of garlic source, some special types of laban and a chutney like thing which they give for the bread was very good. Very friendly staffs and especially the manager of that restaurant Mr Abu Hassan. Worth recommending restaurant in abudhabi. Try this..

I enjoy dining here! The staff is always friendly and they do pay attention to detail. Sedat is such a good waiter! The ambiance is decent and all seating is upstairs. It's good for a group or if you're having dinner alone or with a guest. The parking is horrible on the weekends so just have patience or take a taxi.
I particularly like the fresh naan/pita bread they bring you with the dips (hummus, cabbage dip, garlic, etc.) while you wait for your food to arrive.
The fried Kibbeh is awesome (2 pieces is good for 1 person). I get the grilled sea bass (whole fish) more often than not and it is grilled to perfection. Grilled chicken wings are always grilled to perfection as well. Salads: coban, fatoush, and tabulleh are my favorite salads here! Absolutely amazing. The grilled lamb chops are also tasty.
**New dish alert: We tried the Kazbasi and my goodness it was amazing! The meat was extremely tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. A must try! 👌🏾

Always wanted to try authentic Turkish cuisine and happened to try this place by chance. The 1 Meter kebab was one of the best kebabs I've had in my whole life and I can vouch for that. It was a little pricey at AED 230 but the taste and quantity will blow your mind. It comes with four unique dips in very pretty colours that taste so good. Their bread is so fresh and warm and extremely filling. We also tried the pomegranate cooler to go with this and it was so delicious. Loved the interiors here as well.
We had our dinner from this restaurant and they served us very nice food. The price you pay is worth it for the taste. I liked the meat it’s well cooked and the rice as well was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and try next time for different menu.

Easily one of the top places in the city. The food is delicious, the prices are quite high but the portion size and all make up for it. I have tried their pie-like fatira, their doner options , charcoal chicken and their kebabs and they're all very good. The ambience is nice and the staff are very kind.
I would recommend sticking to Turkish specialties like kebab and doner options as that's the definite strong point. International options are better found elsewhere.
Menu variety is limited, their meat and chicken are delicious and tender, Turkish tea is now nice cleanliness need improvement (stairs, window, bathroom)
