LalQila is without any doubt the best pakistani buffet restaurant in the UAE. Loved their food and service whenever visited.
Anas Iqbal
Tasty buffet and well served by friendly staff, The outside view of restaurant is amazing.

I m pakistani so of course expect pakistani food upto mark in flavour when I try it somewhere. They have good service, good menu, but need to work on flavour. View is good if u want some friend/visitor to take u for dinner. Nice ambiance

This restaurant is located in one of finest places in city, the view is amazing. You step out you see emirates palace white palace etihad towers and adnoc tower mean you can see best of Abudhabi.<br/>The food is alwaysssss yummiest.<br/>Authentic pakistani cuisine. Fresh taste, freshly cooked, live bbq, served extremely fresh.<br/>Ambience reflects pakistani culture.<br/>Above all, the hospitality is greattttttt, tbh the best hospitality in town, staff is extremely friendly, quick and knows exactly what you want.<br/>They have buffet only, i wish they can make A La Carte menu too.<br/>Must try foods are: Daleem, kunna paya, reshmi kabab, mutton seekh kebab<br/>Biryani im not very happy with it<br/>I have been here more than 10 times before writing this review.

Tasteless food, complete waste of money, worst dinning experience and the manager there had was very rude and mannerless he had no manners to talk with ladies when we complained about the food, the tamrind chutney was literally tasting stale , and all food was literally cold and none of the food had taste...very very very bad experience and the manager was not at all coperative and was very very rude... If there is a zero or negative star i would give that..
Kishor
Very bad experience with marina village branch abudhabi<br/><br/>Food was tasteless ,when we complained about quality manager behaviour was very arrogant and non professional behaviour with ladies on that was womens day...<br/><br/>Tamarind chatny and totally stale food with bad smell..all food even barbeque quality was very bad<br/><br/>Manager was very rude they dont know how to speak with customer. They argued arrogantly with ladies seems like drunken.<br/><br/>Lal quilla should return about our bill amount<br/><br/>

We went their for the 14th August dinner buffet. It was sad to see that the food variety has gone down. The salads have been reduce. Even the main courses. The food is decent and the parathas are good. The food is not super spicy so the kids could also eat it. I would have rated the food 3 start but the 4th star specially goes to the servers. They were super efficient and cared for your order. Due to SOPs the buffet is not self service but their was an attendent to serve you and the did make our experience good. The gulab jamun can use less sugar though. I loved them but they were too sweet.

Very bad service. We were a group and the service was bad. They dnt servce proper food and the staff behaviour was very bad. Bcz of covid restriction they were serving the buffet in table and most of the items were not served.even we asked for few items which he said was der but they never served.we waited for 1hr. Manager said there are variety of items in mutton but waiter neglected and he dnt serve anything.we paid total aed 1080.00 but not worth the money or service. Will never opt this restaurant again. And would never suggest the restaurant to any1 who s looking for good food. Chicken wings served was burned.<br/><br/>

This is restaurant in a nice locality with great view of the ocean and Emirates Palace.<br/><br/>It is situated in a 'Villa' like structure with ample parking. The restaurant itself is well decorated and exudes warmth.<br/><br/>The restaurant primarily serves Pakistani Cuisine and is undoubtedly the best I've had in the UAE. The prices are excellent value for money.<br/><br/>Onto the food. The food like most Pakistani food is rich and on the heavy side. As far as authenticity goes, you will not find more authentic Pakistani food anywhere.<br/>There is an ample selection of starters and salads, your customary Biriyani and a variety of mains to choose from. There is also a smattering of vegetarian dishes, though it is difficult to find a vegetarian Pakistani!! They also have a live station that cooks a variety of Chicken, fish and Lamb Kebabs.<br/><br/>Again, I found the dishes tasty, but really rich and heavy. The restaurant served some of the best 'Haleem' I have ever had in my life!! The Haleem is worth paying the price of the buffet!!! They also served a mediocre 'paya' which I thought was best avoided.<br/><br/>Some of the meat dishes had a gamey aroma to it and this is a huge turn off for me.<br/><br/>The service though impersonal was attentive and quick.<br/><br/>The restaurant also has a resident Poet who will come to your table and dazzle you with some classic improvised poetry.<br/><br/>Would I visit again? Doubtful. <br/><br/>Would I visit again with Pakistani friends? Most definitely.
Salman
Lal Qila your finest dining spot for BBQ specialties. Never ending menu list for food lovers with super taste buds. You will find taste in every bite. I went with friends for lunch and had couple of main course. Biryani was good. <br/>BBQ Fish/Chicken super tasty.<br/>Chappli Kababs were tender and spicy.<br/><br/>Restaurant staff courteous and welcoming. Located near Marina mall just across Marina Village - Abu Dhabi.<br/>

I went for Buffet in which 39 Items for 39 AED but soon I reach the vessel is empty and No meat in rice. If food had finished then they stop you on entrance. Some Chinese like Chicken Mangolian item were not available. You have ask them for refill and hotel management is not at all concerned. <br/>Poor Quality of food and service. <br/>On top of that Some executive will and ask you the feedback and if start complaining they will just listen for name sake.

We visited this place in month of February. We were asked to pay 65AED for buffet but my wife overheard somebody saying they are charging 55AED. So that was really unfair.<br/><br/>Food : Non-veg starters are really good but no good option for vegetarian.<br/><br/>Main course is just fine<br/><br/>But desserts were really good and we only enjoyed desserts there<br/><br/>Ambience is nice<br/><br/>Stuff is very friendly <br/><br/>Place is really popular among tourist. So you will find lot many tourist.
Muhammad Waqas Anjum
I went there and ordered a deal which included lot of things. But surprisingly after i reach home it was really dissapoinment. Wuality of food was really pathetic. Quantity was too low and couple of items were even missing. I'll never order the food from there. The thing is that they keep on doing it deliberately.
Fathesha
I ordered food which was supposed to be delivered in 50 mins, which itself is too long. Instead, it took 1 hr 45 mins to deliver. I will never order again with this restaurant.
Avinash Tiwari
Even after notifying them they deliberately ignore.
Hamna Ammar
Order placing through online but refusing after the payment is made.
Haseeb Malik
I would like to show share my extreme disappointment which I went through today when I receive my order. The food quantity and quality both were not good. As per he iftar package they say it suffice 2 or three persons which is a complete lie. More over apart from bad b a all other items were tastes. Stop looting people like this that too in holy month of Ramadan
Atif Chouhdary
We ordered family Iftar buffet deal which they say is for 5/6 people and costed us 190 AED. I must say its not worth the money we paid . Quantity was not at all good , it was written fruit chart will be 500 gram but it was hardly 4-5 small spoons, mutton karhai was hardly 200 grams, biryani was less than 300 gram & same was the case with other items. If someone is planning to buy it then make sure they give you the same quantity as written in their offer but I personally wouldn’t prefer to takeaway Iftar deals from them...

Below average buffet as per my experience.<br/>Buffet priced high but taste is not up to the mark
Muhammad Faisal Zafir
Kulfi was not available again despite the fact that we asked for it in our previous visit this needs to be sorted out to make sure that we can visit again

A 5 Star disappointment! Poor variety of food , dishes were cold, tasteless Pakistani curries . Expecting it to be the same as the Dubai branch , this has been a huge disappointment. Maybe the poor standard reflects the fact that there were hardly any guests on a Friday evening. Surely for 90 AED per head you will find your moneys worth elsewhere. Sad experience 😞<br/><br/>Maybe the management should start taking complaints as serious as complaints rather than just suggestions or simple feedback!<br/>Never again !
Abdul
<br/>I called to make a reservation using a cobone voucher but my request was rejected as they do not accept reservations during ”eid week”. I was surprised by this claim as the fine print on the voucher did not mention “eid week” instead it mentions no bookings during Ramadan.<br/>The staff and supervisor were both rude, unprofessional and not cooperative. They did not seem to bother about me rating them or writing my review which makes me ponder whether they really care about the restaurant’s reputation! I bet the restaurant’s management ought to reassess their recruits!
Rahul
Compared to the price they charging the restaurant is definitely worth considering. They have lot of meat options from kebab to curries. Ideal for families.
Maib786
Was there recently and the food was delicious. Although not value for money !. During reservation the buffet price was said to be 55 or maybe I misheard but was 65. Drinks not included so an average of 70-75.<br/>Hospitality and courtesy does not seems sincere and genuine, specially during busy hours. Hygiene maintenance is questionable
Abu Haseeb
The rating could get 5 star only if they add quails (بٹیر), Curry Pakoda, Umm Ali, Rice Kheer and sauces again in their menu. I have got opportunity this Ramadan for iftar dinner two times. In first visit the presentation was so disappointing but they managed and improved the following visit. Number of dishes they added after I made request to Mr. Alex after my first visit experience and I'm very much thankful to him that he addressed my complaints and found enhanced menu like qeema, cheese nan, halwa poori, Zarda, lamb kuna etc. At the end the 2nd visit was full of taste with traditional Lal Qila hospitality and Mr. Alex contributed as much as possible. However I would like to strongly suggest Lal Qila management to restore quail BBQ, Nihari and make improvement in desserts menu so I continue to be a valued customer.

Experienced the Iftar Buffet. <br/>Though it is a little overpriced, yet, being the only pure Pakistani cuisine available in Abu Dhabi, it was worth spending. <br/>You can find the real Pakistani taste in all the dishes available. <br/>Found here for the first time the Real Biryani in any restaurant. (Most of them just selling ‘spicy rice’)<br/>Nice ambience: Theme based on the mughal dynasty
HAMDAN
I went there for buffet with my collegues.Unfortunately we couldn't find any variety in dishes.Everything as normal and there is nothing special except the ambience.
Prem
Ambiance - 4/5<br/>Service - 5 /5<br/>Food Quality - 4/5<br/>Value For Money - 4/5<br/>Taste of food - 3.5/5<br/>enjoyed lunch with my friends and family would recommend this place for a good foodie...!!!

The place is great if you want to have pocket friendly Pakistani Buffet but food is average in taste. The lunch time usually gets filled with tour companies / tourists. Good thing is lunch includes variety of dishes. Salad (Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Raita, Mint Chutney, sliced/shredded veg). BBQ items (Spicy chicken tikka, fish tikka, beef and chicken seekh kebab). Vegetarian (pakora curry, saag, mixed daal, aloo bhuji, chaana curry, Papadum, french fries, fried rice, steam rice, veg spaghetti). Bread (Cheese naan, tandori roti, plain naan). Non Veg (chicken handi, haleem, chicken korma, chicken chaana, keema mattar, chicken biryani). Desserts (Cup cakes, coconut cake, brownie, jelly cubes, kheer, suji halwa, gulab jamun).<br/><br/>NOTE: Buffet does not include any drinks not even water.<br/><br/>
Shazil Abdulrehman
Well this place can give you the indian -pak-arab buffet, but nothing special, <br/><br/>Price:midrange<br/><br/>Just an average buffet, on a positive note the location was great with the view of emirates palace.

A place of stop for all tour operators in Abu Dhabi. The food is good but a bit pricey. I had a veg buffet and loved the food specially paneer shashlik and halwas (a little sweeter as per my taste buds).
The Bored Panda
We had our stop for lunch here during the Abu Dhabi City Tour. They were charging 63 Dhs for buffet for a single person.<br/><br/>The ambience is nice and royal and it was filled with people heavily on the ground floor which made it look like each and every tour operator stop at this spot for lunch.<br/><br/>The resturant haf plenty of options for veg and non veg. The salads and desserts were good in number too. Overall a fantastic buffet spread. The soft drinks and other beverages were included in the price.<br/><br/>The food had almost Indian cuisine entirely. It tasted a lot like the Indian food too which looked like there major customers are from that part of the subcontinent.<br/><br/>A wonderful experience overall.
Rohith Nair
Lal Qila is located in Marina village, has an excellent buffet. We were there for lunch and the spread was amazing.<br/>Variety of kebabs, curries and desserts to choose from. Also a great assortment of rotis, made on order.<br/>The interiors could be a lot more brighter, but had a good experience

Lal Qila has been around in the capital for ages, and can be relied upon for a good Desi buffet. Although I have been here previously, my last visit was a few days ago with some of my Pakistani friends who were keen to try out some authentic dishes. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite full. we got started on the buffet right away and were quite happy with the choice and variety on offer. My friends especially enjoyed the paaya curry, the spicy chicken korma, the kadhai mutton and the shahi paneer. The kulfi at the end was also creamy and nutty goodness and served as icing on the cake. The guy who walks around doing the shayari/poetry was incredibly sweet and adds a fun touch to the night. We also saw a few tables with people of other nationalities at the restaurant which is always a good sign in my book. Reminds me that food is such a wonderfully universal thing that binds us all together in this wide world. Anyways, to sum up my review, go check this place out :)

We've had a good time at this antient Qila themed restaurant a few times, a buffet that has something for everyone. the food and service both are really good. what adds to the experience is the gentleman who very lovingly entertains with his shayari and sense of humor while we enjoy the food, it was our anniversary and upon being told so he dedicated a lot of poetry to us and made it even more special.
Danish Lakdawalaa
This one's an exciting place to visit for Indian/Pakistan style food lovers. The flavours are good, service is great and the variety is awesome. Don't miss their BBQ. The only thing they don't cover in your buffet is water and drinks which they should have. Do visit here if you're in Abu Dhabi.
Afzal Abbas
We had a delightful and a satisfying lunch buffet which I believe is value for money. You can find a wide range of kabab, curries and vegetarian options along with refreshing salads and soup. Dessert section also had a good variety with lab e shireen a must try. I enjoyed the Paya curry, Achari gosht, cheese naan which is their speciality. Also the fish kabab is something which is not to be missed. Overall a wonderful dining experience.
@foodiefrombeyond
The Chicken Barbeque and Chicken Tikka is a stand out. The staff needs to work more on their approach to customers as during peak times the lack of service and attention is very evident and not up to the standards. The Food replaces this bit, but with more emphasis on customer service they can be a better restaurant.

I like a quarter of the restaurant. It would have been more better if there is fast food for kids available. Nevertheless it was a good experience
The Desert Foodies
2 Stars for experience<br/>4 Stars for Food!<br/>This Friday me & hubster decided to have pure desi & in online search got good discounted value on lal qila lunch buffet & thought why not try something new.<br/>All excited we entered the place & as soon as we mentioned we will use smiles voucher to the attendee he said sorry we accept 20percent smiles a day that too pre booked, you can see the place was empty & still they were refusing to accept the 2 of us & after few min after having a word with the supervisor he comes up and says one of you can use smiles and other pays regular,my reaction "REALLY?"<br/>so we left obviously angry, disappointed & never coming back again kinda mind set.<br/>The attendee came outside and called us in again saying that its our 1st time so its okay.<br/>We said okay and had our lunch here.<br/>HOnest reviews on food:<br/>Very impressed with the food quality, they make the grill fresh on your request even fresh puri on your request that was Yumm.all the chefs were very nice and polite that made our moods really good, great variety of food ,salads & sweets.<br/><br/>So we got water & even asked for tea, everyone knew we opted for the buffet option & yet no one informed us that these will be charged separate bt in the end when we wanted to pay the bill we noticed the extra amount & even that time they were like its mentioned in terms & conditions bt when my husband read that infront of them they found its not even mentioned in there,We all know buffet means water or cold drinks are included too if not then MENTION it CLEARLY!<br/>Why making extra money with these tricks?<br/>They charge 8dhs a bottle, what if you go with a big family & order 4 to 5 bottles of water thinking its buffet and end up paying too much?

amazing food with amazing service

sometimes their quality is superb but sometimes its a totally different thing. however, the green fish tikha remains unchanged: delicious.

Once upon a time Lal Qila used to be one of the best pakistani restaurant in UAE but. Now with time they couldnt managed the quality and they have been keep on dropping and reached to a level which is not acceptable. I have personally visited lal qila for about more than 50 times both in dubai and abu dhabi but my. Last few visits were not. Upto the mark especially the Abu Dhabi Branch.
Buland Iqbal
Lal Qila did catering for us this week and it was very well organised. The team was extremely helpful and professional. The food quantity and quality was just too good. I highly recommend them for catering and rest assured you will be really pleased with their service.<br/><br/>Alex, Zia and Dildar were hands-on and arrangement went really smooth. Well done and keep up the great work!!!!

We went for iftaar over weekend and I would say paying 85 AED per person excluding tax n drinks is a total waste of money. No proper arrangements ,AC was not functioning,BBQ served after 1 hour of iftaar..no much varieties in sweets n non veg as well. Not worth wasting your money.very disappointed..
Hussain Mansoor
I came here for an after Iftar dinner with my family who wanted to have a hearty buffet. Lal qila had not disappointed us in the past. But yesterday the food was sub standard, It seems that Lal qila doesnt concentrate on getting great tasting food, it just cares about getting the food on the buffet spread. The Quail and Shrimps for example i was looking forward to, but both were below average, the quail was deep fried and served dipped with all the oil, it was very unsavoury, shrimp batter was so disappointing that we passed on eating any, the bbq was good, but then same as you expect in any trivial bbq maker. i was disappointed. The also need a good pastry chef, because all their sweets were third class
Maryam Khan
After been waited long finally I got reservation to been there with my family it's Good to had iftar dinner there it's worthy to spend money on this restaurant .........................
HASSAN Nabeel
Disappointed, and waste of money<br/>1)Air Condition was not cooling properly,<br/>2) Taste of Some Dishes were fine but salads,  Biryani, Haleem Taste was not good.<br/>I will not recommend anybody to visit lal qila Abudhabi untill they will improve there service.

received the order as expected...never let me down

We have visited this place several time during iftar time n normal weekends.. tried both iftar buffet n friday buffet.. both are worth for the price.. goid spread with wide varieties of dishes..

We ordered 1300 Iftar charity meals from Lal Qila for distribution. Manager Alex was exceptional in handling our request on short notice.<br/>Each meal pack contained 1 chicken Biryani Box (which was very nice: Thanks to Chef Amir), 1 date, and 1 juice.<br/><br/>They not only delivered the food to Baniyas but also helped us with distribution of the packs.<br/><br/>Not To Forget very competitive rates for high quality food.<br/>Definitely recommended..
Ranjith Av
Sorry to say this Lal quila, your food is not up to the mark.its not worth 85 dhs.<br/>40 dhs is the reasonable rate for what you people had served.
Musharraf Ghansar
25th May 2018 - suggestion: avoid going there for dinner during ramadan since it is over crowded mainly because they have opened additional mezanine floor but for buffet food you need to come down and stand in a long queue. Also the staff sitting today at the reception was very unwelcoming may be because they have more customer than they deserve. The menu was also less than usual.
Fathi Arshad
What : Iftar Buffet<br/>Where : Lal Qila, Auh<br/>Price: 85 Aed<br/><br/>What we like: The variety of food. Various non veg and veg options. Varieties of salad, starters, soups, breads and desserts. The quality of food, especially desserts was awesome. The chocolate cake and chicken malai tikka is worth a special mention. The view and ambience is on point. And the ever patient and welcoming staffs. Hats off to them for their efficiency.<br/><br/>What we dint like: Water, tea is not included in the buffet. Juices and fruits wer limited (1 each). The spice level of the curries ( too low for our liking).
Foodie.family
A disappointment because when we went there for a dinner...they said it is open only for buffet and not menu order, menu order is only for take away.<br/>Its a restaurant and should be available for types of customers instead of putting forward their criterias.<br/>

Just had one visit. To be honest. I had a great experience .. the ambience is amaazing. The buffet😍😍😍. I thought it would b satisfactry. But it was reallyy greatt!!! Planning to visit soon!!

If you want a lot of variety in a buffet this seems to be complete and pls book space if you are going on a weekend it’s crowded and full most of the times ... love the grills , biryani , Sarsoan ka saag and makki ki rotis...!!!
Muhammad Adnan Ahsan
Typical desi food, one can get in UAE. Specially their buffet has a huge variety of dishes which includes everything almost. Gulab Jamun are simply amazing, highly recommended & keep up the good work.

It was an okay experience. Had the buffet dinner, the food was good, loved the mutton karahi. The rest of the items were alright. The highlight of our visit was the kulfi icecream, they had all the ingredients for a falooda on the table so we could make our own with the kulfi...reminded us of karachi ♡ Staff was very nice. However, VERY noisy restaurant, the poet was VERY loud - I understand the concept of Lal Qila but it doesnt feel like a dining experience when there's a man yelling poetry next to you. And as usual, buffet items were not refilled in a timely manner so more often than not, we had to wait for the bbq.
Pooja Kumar
One of the best Indian dinners buffets. <br/><br/>Visited this place last week with family. We were welcomed well. Since it was a weekday there were veg few people there already. The restaurant is quite famous for the buffet. We were asked if we want the soup served on our table but we choose to get it ourself. We approached the buffet and noticed there was quite a large amount of starters, main course dishes, salad and desert available. The barbecue starter was really good with a large variety, but the starters were cold already when we had brought it to our table. The had a large amount of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The desserts were also really good. Towards the end they served us kulfi which was from Pakistan, it was simply amazing. <br/><br/>Overall it was a great experience. <br/><br/>The cost was a little too much to what we expected. <br/><br/>Ambience was great. <br/><br/>Service was great.
Marietta Filipinas Veluz
it was not my expected order, I want the mutton grill but they sent me the mutton curry that is not what is stated on the menu
Meher Majid
Another place I'm disappointed in because they have increased prices in the name of VAT. The increase in price on Dhs. 70 should be Dhs. 3.50 for VAT. So the buffet should have been Dhs. 73.50. Instead it is Dhs. 100 because of VAT they say. Like many places this business is also abusing us as final customers in the name of VAT. Food was generally good but the soup was too salty.
Asif
fresh and delicious
Shruthi Raju
A great place for best non vegetarian buffet. Worth the money , but rating it 3 because of too much of oil in their few of their vegetarian curries. Ambiance is good but there are disturbing people who come and invent you space by saying some "shahiries" and poems which are a bit irritating.
Luana
Simply, amazing place!<br/><br/>We've been here some long time ago, I think it was one of our first buffet in UAE. <br/><br/>This place is special because of the entertainment provided by the staff, and I am referring to the one with traditional mogul costume, which is so interesting. <br/><br/>Restaurant looks nice with traditional details, and food it was delicious and various. <br/><br/>I am really hoping that I will go again, because is something very different, and I am encouraging everybody to go there and be amazed.
Andrei
I will never forget the place. Back in 2015, I had my first dinner buffet in UAE at this place.<br/><br/>The ambience is simply perfect: good lighting, nice decoration and the traditionally dressed guy who tells stories in Urdu and pulls his sword at you is like the cherry on top.<br/><br/>The buffet is very varied with many interesting options and their grills are simply perfect. The only one aspect which I hope they've already improved is the staff attitude which are barely visible. It's like from the staff, other than the sword guy, no one is there.
Bobby Sebastian
I’ve ordered many times from here. Good delivery service. The chicken harabara kebab, green fish kebab & kebab combo are a big hit. Shahi tukra & suji-ke halwa are mouth watering desserts. A good run for the money paid. Best Pakistani restaurant in town.

Good location and friendly staff.. decent variety of dishes. Food was ok but very spicy. Nothing good for kids except French fries.. good experience but my kids didn't eat any thing and they charge half buffet price for my 6 year old kid..

Recently visited Lal Qila Restaurant. They were hosting a buffet then. From vatiety of salads, sizzling kebabs, saccuelant main courses to mouthwatering desserts - most foods were superb that I had tough tym choosing my secong helpings! 😋 <br/>For soup they had sweet corn soup which wasnt that great. The salad choices were good especially the Chana salad with Imli and Green chutney! 🍜<br/>Zafran biriyani and Makke ki Rooti with Saag turned out to be my kost fave among the maincouse lot! 🍛<br/>For desserts, their Kheer and Kulfi were my fave. Gulab jamun wasnt up to the mark. I have had better ones. 🍨<br/>Food can be spicy for kids so they had the kids corner serving fried chicken, meat balls and french fries. My son loved that!👶<br/>For the price of AED62 per head it was great choice (my toddler was not charged). 👍<br/>Highly recommend you guys to check out this place! 😊

I love the food of this restaurent. Quality, quantity, taste and services are superb, 10 out of 10.<br/><br/>Batairs are the best followed by other bbq and karahis.

Nice delivery. Very prompt, piping hot food, nice packing, complimentary desserts but above all, one thing that matters the most the palette cares about, taste- great. Had ordered chicken combo, fish combo and biryani combo for delivery through Zomato. <br/>Well balanced spices, grills done to the right point and spice as per the liking, oil level manageable, One thing I always am apprehensive about on take outs , deliveries and especially for desi and even more for so for Pakistani desi is oiliness, But all fears were allayed , no issues . Of course , I had not ordered any gravies today but I am sure they too would also not be ok on the greasiness front. Fish and chips in the fish combo were fried but were good. Biryani has a nice flavor too, but would have preferred it a lil less done.<br/>Good portion sizes and very pocket friendly prices, made even better with the zomato 20% off offer.<br/>All accompaniments - tamarind chutney , garlic dip and yoghurt were all good . Naans were very soft and had a nice taste. <br/>The complimentary rice pudding was cold creamy smooth not too sweet, was relished completely.<br/>Will visit the restaurant whenever can, but would keep ordering in the meanwhile.

If you want great variety of desi food including Buryani bar b q. Awesome mutton curry and Haleem fired fish this the place to go. Hands down best desi buffet you will have in Abu Dhabi. Qulffi (ice cream) is served once requested.its is a must try. I have been going to this place for a long time never been disappointed with the food quality or the lovely staff.

Giving 3.0 because food wasn’t out of ordinary. It is a good place to take your family to. Kulfi was awesome. A must try. You will have to ask for it as it is served on request and part of the buffet. It is not found at the food stalls of buffet.<br/><br/>In the end I was asked to fill the customer satisfaction form and i gave fair to the food and good for customer service. My FAIR review didn’t fare well with the management and he came running to me with the accusatory tone as to why I gave fair. That’s how i felt man about the food. But he kept insisting that people always give them good reviews. I may not go again just because of the attitude.<br/><br/>Overall, i would recommend this place if you prefer a quiet nice place to have dinner. The food is not too bad compared to others but it isn’t too good either. <br/>Good for once in a while occasion.<br/>

A unique royal experience . Buffet with reasonable price with delicious food. A perfect restaurant for family dinner and “shehanshah akbar” will keep entertaining you witth mughal costume and some of his qualities.

A unique royal experience awaits you and your family here. The buffet is quite reasonable and extremely delicious with a variety of awesome finger licking dishes. Lesser price for kids. Adding to the spice is "shahenshah Akbar" in traditional moghal costume, who'll entertain you with some quality sher o shayari. Superb place.

I have been here more than twice and have ordered online many times as my office is near to there restaurant. Ambiance, lighting and arrangements are well in placed but i never found there food yummy! but what i doubt and believe is that these ppl use freeze meat and not the fresh one coz when you will take a bite to a Tikka items you will realize that it is some kind of rubber rather than being juicy. Most important and my biggest doubt is they add baking soda to there Buffet Menu so that ppl eat less and they make more money.

Great service, delicious food and clean buffet area. Had an amazing Friday lunch with nice atmosphere. Only real criticism I can pin point is the biryani is not that good. But overall the food is fresh and flavorful, especially the cheese naans and fresh bbq. Keep it up and hope to visit again soon.

Must try are Kulfi shake , cheese and Nutella bread. Ambience is cozy. But if you are a vegetarian you would rather want to go somewhere else. I just wish they had more veg options.

Al though I prefer the Dubai branch over this , but non the less if we are craving some pak cuisine and fine dining we go there coz we stay in Abu Dhabi...<br/><br/>Sometime it gets inconvenient with kids if ur seated at their second floor coz there buffet is on ground floor...<br/><br/>Food is authentic <br/>Service good<br/><br/>The shayari is same and gets annoying when repeated on repeated visit<br/><br/>

Went there yesterday for Independence day dinner organized by ICAP Abu Dhabi Chapter. <br/><br/>Food was great.<br/>Hospitality was superb...<br/>They had some arrangements for Azaadi dinner.<br/>Really felt like attending dinner somewhere back home in Pakistan.<br/><br/>It was heart warming to sit down for a meal on a National day with fellow countrymen and talking as we have been knowing one another for edges. <br/><br/>Good Memory and off course good food.. :)

it was our first time to try lal qila. and since today was independence day so we had a solid reason to try their buffet deal which was quite reasonable and we actually wish for that rate in normal days so we can benefit more from this place. <br/>the venue is ok seating was fine. buffet had large variety, half of it i couldn't try but was impressed with whatever i tried. biryani was a total waste to eat. it was more of a boiled rice. but!! karahi won our hearts. it was super yummy and i loved their hot naans served right on spot. sweet section was actually very good, highlight item was the qulfi. <br/>special scores for the service they provided, right from greeting us warmly to providing us our table and serving us with full respect and hot food + cold ice cream on table. they impressed us with their very nice service. thank you for having us on board and serving us so well lal qila staff :)

Awsome food, value for money. Staff is good, but shayar is a repeat telecast. Shayar not spontaneous, food cant be any better at this price.

Took deliver of Biryani and Bar B Q combo. Low quantity. Biryani was disaster. Seems like they mixed mutton qorma and Biryani rice. Very very oily in the bottom. Mutton was all bones. Very disappointing. Combo comes with a sweet. All we got with sweet was suger free dessert (are you kidding me or what ) the best part was Naan, very fresh and nice. Dnt think i will order again.

Purely value for money and known for its uniqueness. The creative impromptu Mughal poet helped make this place more lively with his witty words. Once you get in you feel like a Mughal guest yourself. Unwind with family and friends.
