Located inside the Saadiyat Beach Club, this place has a relaxing and chill vibe to it, which we loved. Haven't tried their food yet, as it is on the pricier side, but have tried few of their desserts. The Valrhona Fondant which was like a molten chocolate souffle with vanilla creme anglaise and hazelnut gelato was amazing in taste and we also liked the double chocolate brownie. Also tried their berry smoothie which I absolutely loved.

My husband and I were invited to an iftar at Safina the other day. Yes they also do iftar there! It was a shame that there were not many guests present as they have a huge buffet and loads of food. I have been to quite a few iftars and I think this one was quite good. The quality of the food is pretty high up there and I really enjoy the international menu too. As expected there are loads of Arabic dishes. The lamb ouzi was made well and the lamb was super tender. I also really loved their lamb chops. They have lots of grills - chicken, lamb, fish. On top of that I also had anfulll plate of pasta that was made to order. It was delicious! Other highlights was also the smoked salmon and cheese stations. It was a bit difficult to find cheese platters at other iftars.
I have to say though the desserts were not very good, especially the hot ones as the heating bowls had over cooked them. The kunafa stuck to the bottom of the heating bowl so i could not enjoy that. The umali was not good at all and it was too liquidly.
On the other hand, I enjoyed the dinner because this is the only place where the fruits here are literally perfect. The watermelon slices each had same consistent pink color and all were so sweet!

Beautiful club overlooking the sea and beautiful restaurant with classy decor. The place gives a holiday, beachey laid back vibe, perfect for a brunch or sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. They have the freshest of ingredients and an amazing wine collection. Loved the Greek salad and breads teamed with a sparkling wine. Can’t wait to visit again.

Been here for: brunch, sesfood night, regular lunch. Food & service are excellent and never disappoint. Spectacular ambiance, decor and setting. One of personal favourites in abu D.

Only disappointment is sushi during brunch and seafood night hence -0.5 points.

The strawberry cheesecake was nothing to shout about.In my opinion I found it average. However if it didn't make me drool you wouldn't find it here. The presentation was enough to make me drool👅This dessert needs no description. The picture speaks for itself . Chocolate fondant with vanilla gelato. Moist in the center with chocolate oozing out. This dessert is not meant to be shared because it can break friendships😹.Simply mouth-watering. Definitely would come again for it👌🏾. My 3rd visit to Safina - A truly fine dining experience.. the best part about this place is their brunch and kids have their own space/ room with their own tv, toys/ activities and good along with the staff so that parents can enjoy their space! 😍

From the starters the Burrata and the Salmon Tataki, and the Burrata was one of the best I ever had.
For the main course I had the catch of the day which was the Yellowtail, and the Spicy Coconut Fish Curry (It wasn’t that spicy to be honest, so don’t worry if you don’t like spicy things), and both were extremely delicious.
As for the sweets, the Nutella Profiteroles and the Chocolate Fondant were yummy

Went for brunch with my friends and spent almost the whole day there.
As expected, the food variety is great and so is the quality. The live band was fun to watch and the crowd was super classy and chic.
The prices are very expensive, but the restaurant is located at a 5 star hotel, so it is expected to be expensive.
Good service and a good place to go to with you family and friends.

Like the adage, people will travel anywhere for good food - this couldn't be any more true, as I found myself driving all the way to Abu Dhabi. But before you say long drive, I can assure you it was worth every minute driving down the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway - for before me stood an oasis of tranquility, the stunning @saadiyatbeachclub.

We were ushered into the lobby by a friendly gentleman, and met by Justine who flashed us a big smile - she went about diligently explaining the facilities of the club (we booked the day pass, to enjoy our time post lunch). We were then led to a uniquely and tastefully decorated restaurant, Safina - and immediately the decor grabs  your attention. The myriad of frames adorning the walls, the light fixtures hanging from the ceiling, the hues of brown and beige lending an earthy understated yet elegant tone - just seduced my eyes. 

We decided to sit indoors, and as you can imagine the drive to Abu Dhabi put us into a voracious appetite. So I started with an aptly named appetizer, Summer Breeze (watermelon marinated with mint, feta cheese and caramelized pecan) - was pleasantly surprised to see that the portions were huge, and refreshing to boot.  

This was followed by a delectable thyme marinated chicken in a creamy vegetable broth - the texture of the soup was just perfect, and the accompanying bread the right foil. My partner opted for the Asparagus and Truffle Risotto, and he couldn’t stop singing praises about how simple yet fantastic the dish tasted. The risotto was creamy and decadent, and the decadent asparagus was paired extraordinarily well with the earthiness lent by the shaved truffles. 

By now we were pretty excited at how well our lunch experience was moving along - for main course I went with the Norwegian Salmon (charcoal grilled and served with parsnip puree, asparagus and lemon caper sauce). The salmon was cooked to perfection, incredibly moist and tender and it just melted right in my mouth. The lemon caper sauce and parsnip puree added another layer of flavour without sacrificing the dish's elegant simplicity. My partner settled for the time-honoured rendition of steak frites (Rib-eye steak, accompanied by truffle french fries). The rich béarnaise sauce enhanced the already flavourful well-marbled meat, and each bite brought a smile to his face - that he could just kiss the chef. Simply yum! 

Seeing that I was born with a sweet tooth, let's move on to the most important part of the meal for me, personally speaking. I ordered the chocolate fondant (melting chocolate cake, with star anise puree and vanilla gelato) and couldn’t stop myself from having another one, as it was so darn good. This was an absolute show-stopper and I marvelled every time I dipped my spoon in for luscious mouthfuls of molten chocolate goodness. Not to be outdone, my partner ordered the classic strawberry cheesecake - luscious and extremely divine! Perfect end to a great lunch experience. 

All in all, Safina seems to be a hidden gem - good service, great food and a stunning location. Definitely coming back for more!

I can not describe it! An Absolutely beautiful club. Food was great quality / quantity and presentation were great. The people the weather the swimming pool... The beach... My wife and i loved it. It is expensive, yes, but worth every penny. Fantastic relaxing day. Can not be described. I do not want to go in detail. Just go there

As a starter we ordered the Burrata Cheese, it was really tasty, followed by the sea bass and my wife ordered the pan chicken breast, very tasty as well.
The Panna Cotta was the perfect way to finish the day and we cannot wait to go there again !

As a city person moving directly out of the bustling central London, I have been a little tentative about settling in on the serene island of Saadiyat.  Its beauty is unmeasurable, but I have been a little concerned about looking out onto the quiet sandy beaches each day, rather than down onto the taxis, traffic and buses that I am used to. #zomatoramadan

We opted for a smaller venue for Friday brunch and what a great choice Safina turned out to be. The fresh oysters and seafood was delish! Grill station outside had steak, seafood, and veg and when we mentioned it's cold they brought us newly grilled food. We couldn't even get to the stir fry section but the pasta station and stir fry station looked very good. Desert table was so fabulous we kept returning, as well as perfect selection of cheeses. Awesome to be able to walk on the beach between courses. Gorgeous setting

They have a decent spread of salads, soups, mains, cocktails and desserts. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and weather permitting, sitting outside is very nice with a great view. Ample parking available at the premises.
