Concerning the greek salad, I guess the cheese was the only thing that was greek about it... absolutely shattered and disappointed by the quality of food compared to the absurd price you pay. If you’re coming here for drinks then it’s alright, the location is amazing, the view is mesmerizing especially around sunset. Went their for a late night snack and drink.. i visited this place two years back but now they developed in their service, food and atmosphere of the place. We had the fried calamari with an amazing mint sauce and the bavarian potatoes which had an amazing taste with an amazing sauce and unique spices. We loved it and we will go again and again. Plus the view is breathtaking and thanks for the amazing service

One of the best places in Abu Dhabi, they have different sitting areas outdoor while you can enjoy the weather, we tried Moroccan tea, lemon ice tea, kofta halloumi sandwich and club sandwich all was good

Nice and romantic place but extremely hard to find without getting lost in the hotel! Better ask for directions - saves you a lot of time to get there. The beer that we ordered was warm and the mojito tasteless. The service, however, was very friendly!

Very bad service and everything takes at lest 40 Minutes even for a coke. I do not recommend it at all and its better to go somewhere else with better view

Been here a couple of times... love the ambiance; the food and above all the service... the staff are friendly polite and prompt... even in humid condition you would like to use the roof top... could not get any food snaps but here u go with the abstract ones... btw had the black code and mixed grills. The code was amazing... the grills a bit dry as I'd prefer them a bit juicy... the shisha here is great ...

This place offers a refreshing view of the Abu Dhabi Corniche or you can sit towards the outdoor poolside area; both comfortable and relaxing seating. Excellent place for quality shisha, however if you're not here for the shisha or drinks then definitely not the best place to visit. The food is average (to below average) and the service is very slow.

Great food. Even better service. Came over for lunch on a Friday around noon. The lobster maki was great. Very out of the ordinary and presented beautifully. The fried breaded lamb chops were very nice too. The steak and miso cod were both just ok. The service provided by Gopika was outstanding and the view and ambiance was excellent.

On the second night of our stay at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, we headed over to Azura for dinner. Thankfully our little Khalifa was already asleep, so we were actually able to enjoy a (gasp!) peaceful dinner, which is always a rare treat!<br/><br/>We went to 3rd floor of the hotel and made our way to the restaurant. Azura has several different seating areas: by the pool, on the terrace, and the main dining area with a panoramic view of Abu Dhabi’s gorgeous skyline. Since we had little Khalifa bundled up in his stroller, one of the staff helped us carry the stroller up the stairs and into the main dining area, where our table was waiting.<br/><br/>The vibe in Azura’s main area is perfect for an evening lounge, shisha with friends or even for a dinner date. We were surprised to see that nearly the entire restaurant was full, so I would highly recommend that you make a reservation prior to your visit, and make sure to request a table where you can make the most of the gorgeous view!<br/><br/>After being seated at our table with a beautiful view of Abu Dhabi’s city lights, we were presented with the menu. The menu is actually a really clever fusion of Arabic traditional food and sushi; and I use the word clever because this is the only way I could ever drag my husband out to a sushi restaurant! I absolutely love sushi, but he’s definitely not a sushi-kinda guy, so the fact that they have a great selection of Arabic dishes allows him to have his favorite food, while I have mine.<br/><br/>The kind staff took our food and drink orders and were back with a small bread basket and our drinks within minutes. For our mocktails, we ordered the Fruity Cooler and the Passion. Both were really good, but my passion fruit drink was delicious! I think the ginger ale is what really gives it a good edge.<br/><br/>First came my husbands starter– he ordered a Cold Mezze Platter which includes hummus, fattoush, baba ganoush, quinoa tabbouleh and stuffed vine leaves. Its a traditional starter but with little twists here and there. The quality in each every one of the components of the platter was perfect. Even the simplest things like hummus tasted so lush.<br/><br/>I didn’t order a starter because I wanted to indulge on my mains, which of course, was sushi! Soon after my husband was finished with his starter, our mains came to the table. While he had the Mixed Grill, I had several different rolls of sushi.<br/><br/>I ordered the Lobster Maki, the Spicy Tuna roll and half of the Kani Tempura Maki. I was expecting a much smaller portion, but lo and behold– three gigantic rolls were served.<br/><br/>First of all, I’m very, very picky when it comes to sushi. Being from California, I definitely know a good sushi place when I see one. I always look for the several things: freshness of the sushi, creativity of the rolls, and taste.<br/><br/>Out of all of the sushi that I’ve tried in the UAE, I would say that I can only recommend about 2 restaurants to have it at, and Azura’s sushi tops that list. All of the sushi was beautifully presented and packed with levels of flavor. The Lobster Maki was especially exquisite because the chef shaped it in the form of a lobster; head, tail and all!<br/><br/>While I was enjoying my sushi, my husband had a great Mixed Grill dinner that included kofta, shish tawouk, lamb chops, and shish kabobs. Along with that, there was also a side of french fries and grilled vegetables. He said everything was cooked to perfection, spiced very well and the portion was ideal– not too small, not too heavy.<br/><br/>Since Khalifa was still miraculously napping, we even had time to enjoy dessert after our filling meals. Absolutely loved the ambiance, service, food and shisha. This is the place to go to if ur lookibg for a nice chilled and relaxed place with a great view and excellent food. I liked how every seating was spaced out giving that feeling of ur own private area. I had the seafood platter and it was devine, so to was the sparkling and grape mint shisha. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go again.

Azura is definitely a hidden gem on the Abu Dhabi dining scene, having been closed for a number of months for refurbishment, the lounge/bar has now re-opened and is certainly something to shout about.<br/><br/>Located on the third level of the decadent St. Regis Abu Dhabi (the corniche one, not the Saadiyat Island one), this outside terrace is simply wondrous. Split over three distinct levels and adjacent to the pool, the seating is casual and comprises wicker pod chairs and relaxing cushioned sofas – the perfect choice for unwinding and taking in the view.<br/><br/>Talking of the view, it is astounding! The hotel’s location on the corniche allows for unparalleled views of the beach, marina, Emirates Palace and the Etihad Towers – it’s like an Abu Dhabi sightseeing tour without having to leave the comfort of your seat and a great place for a sundowner (or two).<br/><br/>The re-launch of Azura has been accompanied by a brand new menu, and in keeping with the relaxed poolside setting, the menu is a combination of salads, sandwiches and grilled items – none of which are too heavy on the stomach.<br/><br/>Menu highlights include the green ocean salad (tossed with octopus, shrimps, calamari and mussels), chilli garlic prawns with chunky avocado and the lamb shank with zealot mash<br/><br/>For those looking for something lighter you have the options of sushi or the hot and cold mezzeh which includes firm favourites like hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush and fattier.<br/><br/>Desserts are a varied affair and the menu boasts everything from key lime cheesecake (a favourite of ours) to a date creme brûlée and duo of chocolate.<br/><br/>Yet the best thing about Azura are the beverages, or to be more specific – the cocktails! With a killer happy hour from 5pm – 8pm daily, this is definitely the place to be when the sun sets.<br/><br/>Azura savours its best secret until last and that is the shisha area perched high above the terrace (accessible via the stairs close to the poolside bar). The small area has a canopy through which you can see the night sky and is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a shisha in hand. Thanks to the Zomato party, I came across this hidden gem in Abu dhabi which offers one of the best ambiences and views to go along with some great drinks. Heidi, the lounge manager, was kind enough to show us around the place and the place is just perfect to enjoy evening with friends over drinks and sheesha. I especially loved the top sheesha deck which had stunning view of the corniche. <br/>I requested for some gluhwein, which smelled like christmas ( but a little high on cinnamon for my personal aversion to this spice). The wines were also good. For finger food, i tried the fatayer and chicken tikka which were decent. I did not try any other food items so I will leave that for comments till my next trip.<br/>However I highly recommend this for drinks or sheesha while soaking up on stunning views.

I was psyched to receive an invite to the first Zomato Auh party, so much so that I drove down straight from work (which happens to be an hour and half into the desert). <br/><br/>On arrival, I was greeted by some chirpy members of the Zomato team and some welcome drinks (mulled wine, bubbly and some of Azura's signature cocktails). Unfortunately I had to give them a miss as I was driving and had to settle for the less action packed fresh juices. <br/><br/>Azura offers a splendid view of the corniche and also has a higher level with mini canopy shisha hangouts which is ideal for groups of 4-5. <br/><br/>As it was more of a cocktail party, we were served a variety of finger food which helped me pick out my favourites for my next visit. <br/><br/>Surprisingly I ran into some of my schoolmates across different batches. The service did get a little slow as the night progressed and we had to crane our necks to scout for the wait staff. <br/><br/>I liked the sheek kebab from the mains while the chicken tikka was just ordinary. From the starters, the meat kebbeh was decent (a strong hint of cinnamon though) and the sushi was also good. I sampled two items from their desserts menu and both were a hit. The traditional Um Ali was en par with some of the best I've tried in the region, while the lemon cheesecake was also delicious. <br/><br/>Azura is certainly one of those places that you need to visit as it caters to different cohorts of crowd. Besides, the good food certainly works in their advantage. A shoutout to Rayyan Umrani and team Zomato for organising a great event. Special thanks to the management at Azura for hosting us hungry souls.

The food and drinks are great, however, there's still room for improvement when it comes to the portions provided per person. A variety of shisha flavors are available. The prices are not very reasonable, but the view is nice, and the staff are friendly.

Great view, great food, great ambiance and even greater staff! <br/>I was fortunate enough to be invited for Abu Dhabi's first ever Zomato Meet Up. Met a lot of interesting food bloggers and reconnected with some of my school mates. <br/>We were greeted warmly by their staff and we were served a variety of welcome beverages which included wine, champagne, juice etc. Almost immediately we were served our first round of appetizers which included Hummus bites, Chilli Garlic Prawns and Warak Enab (stuffed grape leaves). I loved the little Hummus bites and popped quite a few of them. For mains I tried the Chicken Tikka, Shish Kebab and Sushi (Tempura Maki, Spicy Tuna and Veg). We Indians love our Chicken Tikka to be spicy and the one I tried here was just okay. Sushi was delicious and I would recommend it. Finally for dessert we were served Key Lime Cheesecake and it wasn't bad at all. <br/>The party was supposed to end at 10 but some of us stayed way beyond that as we were having a ball of a time interacting with different people. Kudos to the entire team of Zomato for organizing such a wonderful event! Also, the staff and management of Azura did a fine job! Cheers!

Just when I thought that we would never ever have a Zomato meetup in Abu Dhabi, I receive an email from a member of the Zomato team inviting me for a Zomato Holiday party. And not just at any normal restaurant, but at one of Abu Dhabi's most luxurious properties - St. Regis, Abu Dhabi. The party would be held at Azura, an open air lounge overlooking the sea. I've been to St. Regis a couple of times and dined at Villa Toscana & The Terrace. However, this would be my first visit to Azura.<br/>When we arrived there last evening, it finally dawned on me that winter in Abu Dhabi had finally set in! It was cold and windy. We chose a seat near one of those fire thingies, because ... really ... I wasn't prepared for the cold. Although the lounge faced the sea, it was dark so we could barely see anything. <br/>We started of with drinks - juices, champagne, wines, etc. My favourite however was the mulled wine. It tasted good, but didn't remain warm for too long though because of the weather. <br/>Then, the food arrived.. one by one. There were a lot of stuff that I got to sample, however I do not have pictures of everything. For a change, I just wanted to keep my camera down and enjoy a party. Some of the food included - hummus, wine leaves, veg sushi, cheese spring rolls, meat kibbeh and a couple of others. What I loved most were the prawns and chicken tikka. I am a sucker for seafood. And chicken tikka had the right masala!<br/>My favorite dessert was the simple, old-fashioned creme brulee. The chocolate cheesecake wasn't too shabby either. The fruit tart was a beauty, 'coz it didn't have a normal pastry thing at the bottom but rather white chocolate. I thought that this was a brilliant idea. <br/>Overall, the food was good. I did have some favourites and not so favourites. However, I did get to sample a lot of things. The service however was a bit slow. I'd have to order a drink twice before it could actually arrive on my table.

Had a great time attending the Zomato party yesterday and meeting all the other fellow foodies and bloggers. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was pretty well prepared and I would like to come again and try their specialities soon. Once again thanks to Zomato for an amazing meet up.

Had a great time at Azura for the #ZomatoParty. We very much enjoyed the tastes of Azura served to us by extremely attentive staff! We particularly enjoyed the meat kibbeh, along with the sushi - and the chicken tikka main was yum!! I tactfully avoided dessert, but they looked absolutely delicious and the people I was with enjoyed them thoroughly. Definitely a hidden gem in the city - one which I will definitely be visiting again!!

Got an opportunity to be here for the #zomato party. It was a wonderful evening and got to spend time with the people behind zomato along with some nice drinks and foods. It's located on the roof top with a great view of corniche and especially during this winter seoson it's a pleasure to be here. They have a wide variety of food and drinks all made to perfection. We come here mainly when there is a function at the bar downstairs. Main issue with this bar is the slow service, the bar is downstairs and so are the kitchens so it takes a long time to get food and drinks. They could make this into a hot spot however it's not there yet. I took way more photos however again I can't upload them,

Getting to the place is difficult since you have to walk up so many stairs. Nice view once you get there. Food is mediocre to say the least. Had the mini burgers and it was obvious that cheap meat was used. For AED 100, only premium should be used. Nice place to unwind with a drink but not a special place for dining.

I went there once . I didn't like the food ... The only thing was acceptable for me is the shrimps . Al though the view of the restaurant is beautiful specially when its sunset time ❤️ .
