Fabulous dinner in Abu Dhabi. Vast options of cuisine and desserts. The dimsums were so awesome and authentic. When it come to pasta and pizza you will get fresh and crisp too. Indian options are also too good. And the most appreciated thing was their service. Thank you so much Mr Kumar Gaurav for your service.
Looking forward
There are dining experiences in which all the elements come together to create an enduring memory, one that will be topic of conversation even for years ahead – and such is iftar at the Ritz-Carlton. The location is new Abu Dhabi’s dream – directly across from Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and on the waterfront of the Grand Canal.

Went for the legendary brunch on Friday, it is truly legendary. The food is very good, the plating is amazing. The service is fantastic. The brunch is highly recommended and is definitely the best brunch ive been to in Abu Dhabi
Great service and high quality food very testy special thanks to Mr.Hussein izriqi for his warm welcome and highly appreciated for his corporation
At first, I was overwhelmed by the venue. Giornotte has a great presence and will entice you with its decor. But I went there to eat from the buffet, not the decor. The Grill was fantastic, but the Grill duck not so tender, the lamb chops tasted more like grill than lamb. The Moutabal was too salty and the eggplants did not tasted like they were grilled. But fresh juice, cute little custom made canapes. The braised duck seared with onions and parsley was devine. The oven baked sea bass was tender, soft and juicy. Cheese delight. The desserts were light (unthinkable!), three helpings with a coffee and I was not full. A great evening, great attentive service.
This is my second visit to Giornotte @ the ritz carlton hotel.
The brunch buffet was good but didn't set the same standard compared to last year's experience I had which was outstanding.
Seafood station was great with oysters; prawns; crayfish; mussels; calamari and crab as your cold dishes.
The different flavoured sauces were really good to compliment the dish.
The sushi; dynamite prawns and Korean chicken was a winner.
The entree dishes were really classy and never dissapointed.
The beef station offered prime rib; veal; duck breast; veal belly and lamb.
I was dissapointed by the guy cutting up the prime rib as he never understood well what I requested.
Slicing up meat should be done to the request of the guest and he gave me thinly sliced rare meat pieces which I told him I would prefer a thicker cut medium prepared with some outer fat.
Also I never asked him for the bone of the prime rib and he just placed it In my plate which I then just settled for.
The sauces and mashed potatoe that complimented the meat was tasty.
The veal belly was my favourite.
Deserts were tasty but would love to find a greater variety with less sugary desserts to balance it out.
Great ambience; lovely entertainment ; freindly staff.
Would definately recommended it for spoiling your loved ones.
Thanks to the entire team at giornotte
if you are fond of buffet, this restaurant is for you, there is lot of variety in main course, and taste is just so awesome and delicious, one can go here for a lunch or dinner buffet, service is awesome staff is freindly
After trying several Iftar buffet in Abu Dhabi, I can say this is the best in city. Large variety of food and cuisines. Very tasty food. Friendly staff. Well organized place
Differently recommended
Went here for the Iftar dinner buffet with our company.
Food was good. Too much variety that I do not know what to take. It was arabic/ international dishes. The ambience is fine. I think it has less staffs that accodomate the guests.
I went to the Ritzcarlton for their Ramadan Iftar at Giornotte. The restaurant was a bit crowded but I was impressed with their wide selection of dishes, beautiful ambiance and a live musician playing beautiful melodies on an arabic harp (Qanun). They had a wide variety of traditional cold arabic mezzes and all kinds of hot dishes like fresh curries and pastas, Moroccan tangines, camel ouzi, and of course all of the grilled meat you can think of. For dessert, I indulged in some arabic stapled like kunafa, as well as various cakes and a fantastic gelato selection.
P.S If your looking for proper Iftar with arabic ambience and beautiful setup I highly recommend to try them.
