Had lunch buffet with family on a weekend. Found the customer service absoutely great. The Variety of cuisine and taste is top notch. The diversity of desserts available is highly commendable. Overall, an amazingly wonderful experience. Had a great time
Visited the restaurant during ramadan for iftar. Nice ambience and not overcrowded.
Food was mostly delicious with decent variety, however, the dessert station was mediocre at best in terms of taste.
Had our lunch buffet and i must say that its amazing!!!
Food is so great and a lot of food to select with the staff are friendly. Ambiance and decor is outstanding. They also have live cooking and ordered for chix alfredo.. so creamy and mouth watering
Highly recommended
Tried the ocean bites (Wednesday), the interior is fantastic, the tables are very well organized, comfy chairs .
The sea food station was good they will take your order and then bring it to your table.
Cigale was very delicious although I suggest to add more salt and sauce to my order all of them listened very carefully to us and did it perfectly as what we wanted👌👌.
It contains all the sea food you may need.
Other stations are not less than sea food station, all kinds of food that you can imagine and think from all over the world.
We enjoy the food, atmosphere, waiters were so kind .
Special thanks to the management because they provide all thinks that let you enjoy your time in restaurant.
ADVISED FOR SEA FOOD LOVERS.
Great buffet with a good selection. The live station chefs were very friendly. The food was cooked and seasoned well. Enjoyed the overall experience
One of my favorite buffet places. I have visited various Sofitel location in different countries and it never fails me. I love the variety of cuisines and pastries, plus the excellent guest services they provide.
Enjoyed the variety of selection especially the 'select and grill' seafood area, name it and they have it and its unlimited. It was treated simple with light seasoning of salt and pepper that's why you'll be able to appreciate its freshness and delicateness, my personal favorite is lobsters and shrimps. Other viands and choices were also great including the baked salmon. As for the desserts, I did not enjoy it as much as the mains, but it is nice to have the chocolate fountain with an assortment of fruits and dip. I would also recommend that the brand of water (on the table) to be changed as it is bitter and does not compliment the food, the salt content of the water is high, I hope you would consider this suggestion. Nonetheless, service was top-notch and all the staff were amazingly courteous!
Use the vouchers from Groupon for Lunch Buffet.

We tried the Iftar Buffet at Al Barza Tent last week and I blown away. It's not just Arabic Food but almost international food is available. I love the Lentil Soup, beef, desserts, etc. It's overflowing and I look forward to coming back soon.
Went for seafood night some weeks back. Staff is very friendy, food presentation is great and food is of very good quality. Enough selection to enjoy a variety of dishes but not too much that makes it confusing what to try. The only (very minor) shortcoming was the limited sushi variety but everything else was great - especially the fresh fish section.
The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and was very helpful. The place was moderately busy making it a great stress-free meal.
This is not the first time I visit this place but every time we dine at Corniche restaurant we feel the warmth and sincere service that surrounds us from the moment we book over the phone . I do value the professionalism and care shown by Ms Myra especially when she arranges the booking for us and takes care of every single detail related to our visit to the restaurant, it actually compounds my feeling of gratitude to the this place more every time . Special thanks to Myra for her patience and cooperation while arranging for bookings of big number of guests , I look forward for our forthcoming Easter lunch in Cornice restaurant and I thank Myra in advance for all her help for making all necessary arrangements

Went in for dinner last week and was warmly met at the door by great waiting staff. Sat quickly at a great table and looked after well all night. The food was really good with a wide range of choices. Will defiantly recommend to locals and tourists alike!!!
Ate here a couple of weeks ago and had a really enjoyable meal from start to finish. Our food was tasty and well presented and portion sizes were good.
Sea food is not everyone’s cup of tea. But if you are an ardent lover of sea food and would like to try and see exotic sea food dishes, then this post will help you to trigger your sea food cravings 😀 . On today’s post I am gonna take you to a scrumptious sea food feast named Feast of the Sea at Corniche restaurant of the Sofitel Abudhabi Corniche Hotel.
I think I should give all my thumbs up for this fine dine restaurant.. Loved their biriyanis and their salads... The customer service is also beyond expectation.. Tried both their Ala Carte and buffet.. We have umpteenth number of options to choose from...
Took my best friend to their Arabic brunch on Friday which was their first time! It was simply amazing! The food was so good and the place was very welcoming, middle eastern style. You've got a lot of options to choose from & a variety of Arabic dishes from different countries. They also serve fresh juices depending on your choice which was extremely fresh & refreshing! My favorite was the salad area. They also had Arabic sushi which I've never had before, basically it was stuffed with lamb kebab, tabouleh & hummus. Worth the try! Definitely coming back here
This was my third time to dine in Corniche Restaurant. Among my visit this was the best. We went on a friday dinner buffet and it was Asian themed buffet. They had indian, indonesian, thai, chinese, and even filipino. They also had seafood section which we really loved the most. Staffs were very polite and attentive to our needs. The head chef visited our table and we commend him for their great food. We will definite come back here.
Have been here many times as part of business dinners. The cuisine is international. The Indian dishes are awesome. The selection of desserts is versatile. Altogether a worthwhile experience.
The ambience of sofitel is really nice. The lighting was done well too.The place was not crowded when we went to have dinner. It was for a theme night on the week. A live cooking station was the best part. And they had Groupon so there was 50% off.
Very nice buffet, specially for their seafood selections. They have theme nights worth trying. Staff are nice and helpful, always willing to accommodate your needs
We had a late weekend breakfast at the Corniche Restaurant at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche. We travelled to Abu Dhabi as we wanted to visit the emirate for a day tour. We arrived at the hotel just in time for the late breakfast to start which is around 12:30pm. Located on the Corniche area, the five-star luxury Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche houses over 280 rooms. Their Corniche restaurant is in the lobby area and is very spacious and can cater to a large group. We were provided with some welcome drinks which was a great way to start the buffet after a couple of hour’s drive from Dubai.
I was staying at the hotel for several days and enjoyed the breakfast here which was fresh and plentiful. There was enough choice to suit all tastes and service was friendly and not rushed. I was invited to try the seafood buffet for dinner and we really enjoyed that too. It was quite busy but it's pretty spacious so didn't feel cramped and there was a nice atmosphere. The big draw was the fresh seafood which you could select and have cooked for you to your taste. We tried barracuda for the first time and I loved the king fish. In addition there's a huge spread of hot and cold dishes and I would recommend the potato dauphinois, beef burgundy and lamb navrine. There was also lovely shrimp and lobster tails. Service was good throughout and there were other live cooking stations.
This is the third time we booked the seafood night. There was a wide variety of food choices. Live station was providing all types of fish. There was even an Arabic counter serving tagines for non seafood lovers. I appreciate the fact that one of the supervisors/managers remembered us and thanked us for coming back. That was a nice customer service touch that will make us come back again. The only thing down is the ambiance it could be nice if they had a live band or else just play some background music so people will not feel bored. Otherwise value for money is good.
We went there to celebrate our anniversary. As a veggie, we hardly had any options. Only salads and desserts. There was a pasta live station where we had veg pasta.
Dessert selection is vast and tasty provided u r a sweet person.
The spread is good if ur a non veggie. But the buffet price is definitely not worth for a veg. As it was a special occasion, we went there, it being nearest to us.
great buffet to fill your stomach with tasty food :) wide verity, nice decoration and environment, oriental rice was amazing (arabic night on Thursday)
Stayed at the hotel a few times and had breakfast at this place every time I stayed at the hotel.
Great service ! The breakfast variety is superb. The quality of the food is wonderful and so is the variety.
I tried the buffet dinner. The food was good. The buffet had alot of variety. The kabsa rice were very good. The biryani was average. The short rib steaks and sweet & sour chicken was also very good.
Went for a friend's birthday dinner during international buffet night. While the ambience and service is very good, the food did not meet the high expectations we had based on reviews. We had selected this place based on the reviews and had a lot of expectations prior to tasting the food but were slightly disappointed. About the variety, salads and breads were plenty but the main courses were few compared to other buffet restaurants of the same standard. To be specific, there was just one option at the live grill/wok station and that was a choice between two types of noodles but with just one meat option, chicken. The barbeque chicken was alright. There were no kebabs nor any varieties of starters which is surprising as it was international buffet night! Soups were alright and although I am fond of Chinese and seafood and dont favour vegetarian dishes much, I found the pumpkin juice tasted much better than the Seafood one! I liked that they had Quail that was well cooked and had a nice flavour. My favourite item surprisingly was shawarma which was spectacular in taste! Of all the dishes I liked Shawarma, so you can understand what I'm getting at. With regards to desserts, some like the brownie and choux were just amazing but others were again not upto standard. I would give it a higher rating if the food tasted flavourful but it was alright.Perhaps international dinner isn't their strongest suit. Plenty of fruits and breads but not many mains or starters.
We had come here for a family occasion and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we had spent here with the amazing staff and the exceptional food. The desserts especially were brilliant especially the apple vanilla choux which all 4 of us ate atleast 3 pieces. Highly recommended.

+3.5
The foods are good, just that the selections are few. Maybe it would be better if they add more fruits, seafoods and steaks. The place is accessible, cozy and comfortable though.
Upon receiving a kind invitation from Elena Polischuk, Marketing & Communications Manager at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche to come and enjoy their famous theme nights we had decided to go for the American Themed Night as we have very few quality American cuisine available in Abu Dhabi.
Have been here for breakfast and lunch... They have a large variety of food to choose from...!! They also have a huge salad bar and dessert counter... The food is alright...not the best...!! The ambience is really nice..as they have a large area and therefore there is a slim chance of you having to sit close to another occupied table... Good place to go with friends and family...
corniche all day dining is conveniently located in sofitel hotel abu dhabi. their buffet is with huge varieties and quality of food is great. though the lightning of the restaurant is quite too dim, for you to be able to se your foods while you eat, nonetheless everything is fine. we love coming back to this place and to try some of their theme nights too. overall experience is explicit and is appreciable.
Very nice ambience and super delicious food. I love their salads. Staff is courteous and kind.
Very satisfied with the place.
We had gone their for Iftar.
And being Indian, we could ding vegetarian food like dal makhani, matar paneer, baked potatoes, and falafel.
Loved it.
Would surely visit the place again.
Great Interior. Ramadan decor is stunning.
The Iftar buffet was scrumptious and many varieties are plated up. Jallab and laban comes in a real cute containers.
Wide choice of salads, starters and cheese.
They do have a live counter for arabic ice-cream which is something you wouldn't find in many restaurants. Enjoy a serene delicious Iftar at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche
I visited Corniche Restaurant for an Iftar preview ... since Ramadan is almost around the corner. They have an array of Arabic as well as International delights. What I personally liked about this Iftar is that they've brought of bit of something from every part of the Arab world like the Egyptian kushari and Turkish style beef shawarma. On the other hand, they have chicken breast stuffed with ricotta cheese too. Their preparation of Daoud Basha is unlike anything I've ever tasted ... lets say ... it isnt a tomato gravy. In addition to that, they have three kinds of kunafa and a chocolate fountain with chocolate thats worth the calories!
One of the best Breakfast , Lunch or dinner you can have in Abu Dhabi. The food is top notch, add to that the hospitality of the whole staff and their smiles and you feel like you eating at home !!! It has been my go to place for the past 2 years and I won't stop !!! Can't recommend it enough !!! Thank you all who work at Sofitel, from the time they pick up your car till the time you leave.
Amazing buffet at the amazing Sofitel!! What a quite ppeace and a good service! Marvelous Variety of food and tasty..tried it in normal days and in ramadan and both experiences were enjoyable
Wow place to visit and dine in. Visited in Nov 2015 for Buffet Dinner and found meals and ambiance were awesome. One of the best place for dine in which I have ever visited.
Staffs are very polite.
Overall : Must visit place.
Food : 5 star
Ambiance : 5 star
I love the overall interior setting .. good variety of food .. and the staff are social and friendly .. i have been to their international buffet dinner and arabic night buffet and all American night.. i loved them all and i will always visit again
We tried the sea food buffet yesterday at sofitel hotel . More heard about the restaurant corniche all day dining ..
Buffet was laid well with variety of sea food and general items .
Only wished the live counter with fresh grill shrimps, jumbo prawns & lobster had some flavours in it or some sauce besides to add on top to suite taste buds .
Sweets and desert items seemed limited in options ..
Rest it was well made .
Quite emonomical and great ambience ..
Love to get back soon .
We had our dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon booking with Ms. Rechell, I requested for a simple dedication cake to greet and surprise my husband. It turned out that I was even more surprised because they exerted extra effort and prepared our table with rose petals and had the anniversary greeting written on it.
We love the place which is huge, clean and well decorated. They also offer a lot of choices during their International Night. Overall we really enjoyed the experience, the place, the food (especially the desserts) and the best service from the team of Mr.Justin, Ms. Richell, Mairaj, Isuru and Imtiaz. Though it was our first time here, we were treated like we are regular guests.
We went for Friday brunch to sofitel, assuming that there will be so great restaurants in there but nothing was impressive at all. Finally we landed up in corniche resturant. Decent ambiance and good food.
Having tried their breakfast buffet last year, been wanting to try this place again. As I remember, the breakfast was jam packed and we were seated sharing tables. The buffet was extensive, and took a while for us to get around, but it was a really good one.
Since we were more interested in International cuisine, we decided to head out for lunch. The place was empty, much to my surprise, other than a few office goers. Apparently the crowd had already exited, since we arrived late, around 2pm. Even though it's set near the hotels lobby, the ambience is excellent, the seating is in an elevated area, and with plenty of seating options.
The staff are excellent, all of who were smiles all around. The service was prompt throughout. The chef would even personally come to our table to see if ours needs were met, so it was a great experience.
The food was extensive once again, and it had quite a few Morrocan tagines, which were really great. The sushi was one of the best I've ever tried. The salads were plenty, but missed the cold cuts entirely. The mains were amazing, with huge variety of proteins. But it was the beef tagine that really hit the spot and brought me back for more.
The deserts weren't really all that great, expect for one or two items, but it was the ice cream and chocolate fountain that saved the day for my family.
Definitely would like to come back and try one of their theme nights, it was recommend by most of the people I met there, as it's apparently more extensive :P
Fancied a buffet so that the mother in law could experience different cuisines...is her first trip overseas. Chose this place based on the reviews and have to say is great value for money...considering the service, ambience and quality of food. The highlight for me was the goulash (spelling??) which i had with cous cous and roasted veg. The desserts were great...small enough to almost try everyone. Will definitely be going back...and they accept the Entertainer & Groupon vouchers...in our case a 3 for 2 deal...worked out at about 120 dirham each.
I've tried the seafood night many times, and always above the expectations.
fish are very delicious and different ways of cooking, desserts also are very good.
i liked the most (tajin seafood - the soup - the arabic sweets.).
i highly recommend the place.
Food is good. ...Maybe 9.5 over 10. Location is great. Service is 8 over 10. Atmosphere 9.5 over 10. Open buffet with water. I like it so much.
I was there a few weeks ago with my family taking advantage of their open buffet offer. I am impressed with the wide variety of choices on their buffet counter. Their dishes were prepared and presented in a good and clean way, not unlike other restaurants/hotel offering a buffet. Their crews are courteous and the overall appearance of the place is cosy and clean. The only thing that bothered me is the extensive dimness of the place. Other than that, the experience was superb and my taste buds satisfied. 👍🏻
i was there with my wife for lunch buffet , first of all staff is very polite & very very helpful at least this is my experience . the place is quiet and classy but for me it needs to be more bright , i am not sure may be needs different lighting .
the food options are very good and food taste is good but the main issue here i felt that for this price i should get better taste that is the only reason i put only 3.5 so i can summarize it as follows :
for staff : 5/5.
for food variety : 4/5
for ambience : 3.5/5
value for money : 3/5
Visited during Ramadan on the day of my wife's birthday. A surprise cake was prepared for her which was really great hospitality. The buffet has good variety and taste. Nice ambience... Superb service.
My office organize the iftar party i would say its was amazingg experience .the food was awesome an tasty .the ambiance and staff was superbb .very well organized i would recommend it
Love the food and the stuff , they have cooking station as well :)
I went to this restaurant in Ramadan Iftar, it was one of the best nights I spent in any restaurants in Abu Dhabi, there was a nice variety of the dishes and sushi, the best part for me was the live cooking steak, I was spoiled by the steak preparing, the chef prepared it exactly the way I like - you can choose from different type of meat, I believe I ordered steak 3 times; it was amazing.
the place is cozy and big, you feel comfortable at the buffet, tables are not stuffed, nice and tidy one.
service was good.
The most amazing Moroccan food in Abu Dhabi hands down hanks to the delightful chef who is Moroccan. If you like ravines like I do these are the best outside of Morocco I think I finished off the lamb and prune to the disgust of onlookers it was that damn good! Great value for money when purchased on Groupon. Atmosphere amazing too.
Nadeem Quraishi - Foodie.. Thats Me!!
+3.5
A decent buffet, good service, nice layout. The All Day Dining Buffer didn't disappoint when we tried it on our Abudhabi weekend stay. The kebabs were awesome, I had requested for the Chops to be well done and they came back with just that. The chocolate fondue was amazing too and so was their shawarma stand. The desserts were nice too. Overall a pretty neat dinner out.
A nice place with good food.i loved their selection of dessert, the main course were good enough too.the starters is another section I liked.i would go back again for the starters and desserts.
You can always go to corniche all day dining restaurant when you are hungry and looking for delicious courses. They have everything you need and will make you happy
On rare nights that we dine out, we make sure we spend it on food worth its price. And I must say, our overall dining experience is somewhat bland. Nothing that lingers much worth mentioning. Perhaps it was because of how our reservation was treated. A day before we are schedule to dine at the restaurant, I called around 10 a.m. to book a table for two on Friday. The lady took our name and number for our reservation at around 7:30 - 8:00 pm.Friday afternoon, I received a call from the hotel asking about our reservation which I confirmed. Then the lady informed me that the restaurant was fully booked for the night and they might seat us at the far end of the restaurant and near the entrance already. I asked her why we are being bumped off when we made the reservation ahead of time. The lady apologized because a company of 250 heads will also be dining at the restaurant. I told her I will not move my reservation as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary we can't possibly move the celebration. So she said ok and informed me a seat will be provided within the restaurant. When we arrived we were ushered to the (surprise, surprise) the last table near the entrance. Fortunately, it was not yet crowded when we reached the restaurant. Plenty of tables were unoccupied. So whatever happened to those 250 people reserved to dine that night??? Anyway, poor service when it comes to reservation/booking.As for the ambiance, the place is a bit gloomy. Maybe because of the dim lights. The entrance is quite difficult to locate good thing an usher was waiting by the lobby door. The service staff were very accommodating. They fill our glass with water once we were seated and prompty asked for our ordered drinks. The food, not what I have expected as well. It was international night so I was hoping for some steaks or other grilled meats. Most of the food served were middle eastern. Not that I don't like it. I like middle eastern food, but it would also be nice to try other cuisine. The fried dory was my favorite of the night. The chicken biryani was also good. The sushi, not so extensive they don't even have vegetarian sushi. The dessert corner was a delight. Most of it were just perfect to cleanse your palate. Food was filling but notihing exemplary. Service staff were impeccable. Reservation/booking lady disappointing.
Go there for a quick bite or just to satisfy a sweet craving. The place is ambient and aromatic. Coffee isn't bad either. Great place to wait till your friends come.
A quiet cosy environment with soft live band, a relaxing way to spend any friday afternoon. The choices at the buffet (International menu) was very good.... very extensive, including live cooking stations. I am unable to provide the seafood with high scores, but each to its own. The choice of desserts are simple splendid. Though the staff was warm, but were low on comprehension, we experienced several miscommunications. But overall, the experience was great.
Very good! Do try the seafood platter. Lobsters and oysters are fresh. Food presentation is good especially for dessert served on dry ice. Tastes are nice. Staff are polite. Manager is friendly.
Tried the Seafood night which happens every Wednesday. High quality food, seafood dishes from so many cuisines to taste every tastebuds. The seafood salads were the best part, and the live cooking had succulent prawns, lobsters and much more. A wide variety of desserts is the ultimate cherry. Chocolate fountain fondue, and different cakes. Must try for all seafood lovers. Per person charges are AED250 but most of the times they always have voucher discounts with Abu Dhabi week which makes it AED125 for two people.
good variety menu from local to international.
i specifically like the chocolate fondue with the gummies and marshmallows.
Desserts were superb.
good ambiance. friendly staff. sanitation wise. good parking.
Amazing food amazing service just a amazing place to dine with your family
Limited but good variety during friday dinner buffet. Big collection of desserts and salads. Ambience and service was quite impressive.
Chic and Classy are the two words to describe this restaurant. I went here for the New Year’s day brunch with my family. The decor is sophisticated and comfortable. They may not have the most expansive menu for Brunch in Abu Dhabi but the staff is extremely courteous and accommodating. Being vegetarians our options were only limited to the Arabic salad bar and pizzas but when we shared this concern with the manager, they very quickly offered to make some vegetarian dishes for us which also included veg sushi along with a veg pasta (which was a little bland) and dal and vegetable curry. The beetroot hummus at the Arabic salad bar was the highlight of the brunch. It was more than delicious. Overall, the food was decent. Their dessert bar had some of the most unique desserts I have come across; along with chocolate fondue, they also had orange flavoured fondue. They had beetroot and carrot juices in fancy glasses. Even though I am not a big fan of vegetable juices, the glasses in which they were served made it very tempting to try them. They also had a cheese and biscuit section, along with a fresh fruit section. For the non-vegetarians, a lot of seafood options were available. And not to forget, water was complementary with the brunch which I have seen for the first time in Abu Dhabi. Overall, it was a good place to start the new year.
the best ever experience in French Cuisine in a Sofitel Abu Dhabi all day dinning restaurant.
