Alright I really like this place. The food was really good. I loved the decor of the place and the friendly nature of the staff. There are weird rice bags/onion bags laid out at the seating area as decoration, which looks really unique. The food we ordered were the Tahta Rubyan, Fareed and Meylas Vimto. The food was prepared quickly and served beautifully. The Tahta Rubyan was so delicious in my opinion. I especially loved the fact that they were so generous with the shrimps quantity within! Amazing.
Okay so all this said, the price is a bit high in my opinion for normal average everyday people as I would be able to go here just once in a while. Portion size is really nice as well, as I am "happy full" as I am writing this.

Okay it's my first time here and as soon as I entered the restaurant I was amazed my the decor because it was so nice and the ambience is really unique. The food was really good, my order was tahta rubyan, Fareed (meat) and vimto and they have the taste and authenticity of a true traditional Emirati cuisine! The location is inside Al Muneera Plaza beside the beach which is very relaxing. The service was quick and the food took 15 minutes to be prepared and served to me. Price wise it was a little on the higher side for me. I will give it my ratings below:

The food was really delicious we ordered the "Balaleet and Karak tea". The traditional way the restaurant has been put together was very amazing. The food was cooked and served in a very simple and traditional way without any complicated way like many traditional theme restaurant are trying to do. I came twice to this restaurant and surely will come many times inshallah (:

Great Emirati taste. Their meat is fresh and that adds a lot to the taste. I tried the Lamb Saloonat Badu. It felt like the one I eat home. Tahta Rubyan was also very nice. Their Chami is great and very traditional. Their Hamba w Jarjeer Salad, and Regag Salad were very delicious. Their mango pickels are authentic Emirati style so ensure to have while you eat there. Their Legaimat sweet was very nice.
Service:
Very good and can't complain. I actually became a regular customer and one time I forgot my pocket. The cashier told me "its fine, we will pay today, and you can return the money tomorrow".
Ambiance:
The place in overall a great (Al Muneera, Al Dar Development). Moreover, the interior designs, chairs, tables, and dining accessories are all designed with memories from the old neighburhoods of the country, which makes you feel the Emirati style and culture for sure. I salute their interior designer for a great job. I just didn't like much the washing area, its small and the washing bowl can be dirtly if not cleaned by the staff promptly after each use.
Highly recommended for those looking for Emirati food and its culture.
This is our all time favorite Emirati restaurant in the capital! The ambiance and view overlooking al muneera beach is wonderful.

Legaimaat here is a benchmark you compare to when you try legaimaat elsewhere. Tastes like my mom’s legaimaat.
Chammi with dates here is great and not heavy. Portion is just enough. Their sweet potato fries”fendal” is very good.
My father’s favorite spot whenever he is in the capital. Especially camel milk!
The breads here are baked the old way which is authentic and tasty.
Rice dishes like machboos is also yummy and perfectly spiced not filled with spices like in some restaurants that ruin all the taste and flavor.
Highly recommended. We come here nearly weekly. We already know staff by name :)
I came to this restaurant four time and it is fantastic as traditional Emirati restaurant. There food fresh and so delicious, you can feel the real local food test. The staff wear very welcoming and design of the restaurant is unique.
Love the food and love the service. It's one of those places you dine at once and feel the urge to return soon after! I appreciate being able to get a deliciously decedant Emirati style meal outside of home!
The machboos diyay is fantastic, and you absolutely have to try the ligeemat at the end of your meal!
Few cafes/restaurants have had a real taste of Emirati cuisine. But i loved the taste behind this spot . The presentation of the food itself clicked me from first visit . Ive tried the Emirate breakfast , the portion was more than enough in comparison as a one person meal . Their karak tea pot is also great . The staff, Enviroment and everything is really cool .. Its imparting a lesson in cultural tourism that reflects uae . Thumbs up
Our usual order is either plain Karak or saffaron Karak with lugaimat.
The staff are very pleasant especially Loui and candy.
