This is the first time I have ever written a review of a restaurant but feel it necessary as the 4.7 star review given to this restaurant is quite a shock after our visit. The cost for what you receive in food quantity and quality is very disappointing. The food is not fresh. The berries were moldy on the pancakes. When pointed this out to waitress she told chef who didnt seem to care, giving only 30 dirham off the price of bill. The bread rock hard. We asked for fresh...they had to microwave bread to make it soft the waitress said. We asked for no onion in the shakshuka but were told its pre-made and not fresh so they cannot. The size portions for the price were shocking. We will not return, nor recommend to anyone. We go to cafe arabia every weekend for great food and hospitality and in our opinion this so called boutique cafe does not even come close to the quality of food at cafe arabia. Giving your restaurant a one star is generous. Cheers.

Dear Ladies from No. Fifty Seven Boutique Cafe, the great Instagram feed and outstanding branding made me want to visit your restaurant ever since we moved to Abu Dhabi half a year ago. It took me a while, but today me and my husband went for lunch and were unfortunately disappointed. This comes from a customer who has never complaint via social media to any restaurant however it was a great disappointment. I will only stick to the food with my comment; We ordered a ‘’Grilled Advocado and Chicken Mexican salad’” my first plate came with a bug!! in it, so it went back to the kitchen and the second had only two slices of chicken and two pieces of avocado (rest was corn and beans and some form of yogurt/mayo). I think any self-respecting chef should not serve a salad like this, not for this price in such a restaurant. I am providing you with this feedback in the hope that your offering improves, in any case it’s of course up to you what you will end up doing with it. Kind regards, Stefanie

We had lunch at this place, loved their simple interiors and ambience. The menu was limited but whatever we had was good. The quality and taste was amazing. Will go back to try their breakfast menu soon.

A well located cosy place at Al Bateen. However I would say the food is average and pricing is steep. The service was okay and they did seem to be busy but I guess with people from around the area. I wouldn’t go there again. <br/><br/>- Shakshouka : Presented well, tasted nice and they did the eggs well done as requested. Served with soft breads. <br/>- El Paso Chicken Sandwich : Not at all worth the price if you ask me. Tasted average. And if u miss reading the description, the bread is rustic Italian which is crunchy and hard. The staff treated us really bad. We went on a Saturday night for dinner and had scanned the online menu since menus are touch less now, we waited for a waiter to get the order and we kept looking around but no one gave attention to our table. They served 2 other tables of customers who came after us and still didn't take our order for almost 20 minutes . When a waiter saw us, she did the wait sign with her hands in a disrespectful way and we actually waited, then after 5 more minutes minutes we looked at her, she did the same 'wait' sign with her hands and served another customer who just walked in. We stood up to leave and no one still bothered to come speak with us or ask what is wrong and we just left, no one bothered to ask us for the reason, hold the door or anything. Worst customer service experience.

The food preparation time was quick. The food came freshly prepared and hot and every dish was so flavorful and yummy! We went there with a bunch of friends and we had an amazing time, thanks to the lovely food, ambience and staff. Would totally recommend this place to everyone. They also have discounts if you pay through Zomato.

Headed over to this cute little cafe for a ladies' brunch today morning! The food was absolutely delish, our order consisted of an Americano, a latte, an avocado toast and two breakfast trios. All the ingredients were fresh and the dishes were just as expected. However, there were several disappointing factors to the visit. The couches we sat on were heavily stained and sitting on them felt extremely unhygienic especially given the current scenario. Service was extremely slow. We had to wait about 20 minutes before someone took our order and once they brought over the food they had forgotten all about the cutlery and so on.. The food looked like it was dumped on the plate with zero attention to presentation. The food tasted really good but I truly believe that several factors come to play while judging a dining experience.

One of my favorite places to eat at. The food and drinks are really delicious, the ambience is lovely and the service is quick and friendly. My only complaint are the prices being a little too high for the portion size. Apart from that it’s all good!

Amazing place for breakfast: nice terrace and calm surrounding. I ordered shakshouka and croissant with mushrooms. Both dishes were really good. Also I tried black cappuccino. Its looks cool but I don’t like the taste (by the way it’s overpriced). You can use entertainer for breakfast

Came for a breakfast to this place and ordered hash brown bennedict. Well, one was fine, would not say amazing, would not say bad, just ok, a bit salty. But when I tasted the 2nd one I could not realize at first what was that. ROW POTATO! Absolutely row. I asked to exchanged this one. Well, waiter picked it up, and brought it back 10-15 mins after. Same one. They just put it in the oven or microwave. Edges were dry, middle still row. Same one. They even used the same poached egg on the top I cut a small bit from. Already cold egg. Never met something like this in Abu Dhabi. That area has so many different cafes, next time I'll choose another one. I did not feel welcomed in this place

We went there on a Friday morning for a breakfast. The location is pretty good and the crowd is decent. The quality of the breakfast, the ingredients used were up to the mark. The service, even after the restaurant being full was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast if you want to try something new. One more great spot for breakfast.

Hidden cafe located in one of the Al Bateen communities in Abu Dhabi.<br/><br/>The ambient is quite elegant and classy, the atmosphere of the location is relaxing.<br/><br/>I tried the Mexican salad and it was a great combination of different flavours, all well cooked and presented.

The place is nice to dine in. Although, I haven’t had the chance to have other items, the french toast was mediocre. I think that hardness on the outside is a matter of preference and honestly, it’s a bit too much for me. The syrup provided was too little and the it’s just extremely overpriced for what it is. If you compare it to somewhere like shakespeare & co it’s not close in terms of quality (in my opinion), yet it’s almost double in price.

Always great food but really small portions that are a lot more costly than other restaurants. Also delivery took a long time. Good that you’re using paper and cardboard packaging.

Facing the sea this beautiful boutique cafe is located in Marsa Al Bateen which is very coz and serene place in Abu Dhabi and one of my favorite spots. We happened to try their menu as heard some good things about them. Upon entering the cafe we were welcomed and greeted by Cedrick who is such a lively and genial host that we almost felt like home. This cafe is beautifully designed and curated giving the look of modern contemporary art. I just loved the coziness of this place spreading positive vibes all around. The staff is well trained and cordial in treating their guests. Moving towards their menu, they have an elaborated menu with choices of dishes I each section and a well extended menu for drinks and beverages. We ordered pina cola (the finest that it took me 2 minutes to finish it up), Mexican chicken salad (the delish of all the salads and extremely fresh), lamb chops with gritted potatoes), boneless buffalo wings (very different and delicious than the usual buffalo wings that we eat), Bolognese Rigatoni (salmon with mashed sweet potatoes), French fries for kids (very light and yummy). <br/>Everything that we ordered there was just beyond delicious and so accurate in bringing the cultural taste to the table. All thanks to their ace chefs who put their efforts in making the meals rich in taste and texture. I got to meet with the dream team if this cafe just to appreciate their work. Chef Engel, Chef Justine, Chef Jhay and Chef Peter were the magical hands in preparing the yummiest and authentic food. I wish to visit them again and try some more new dishes soon. My best friend and I went to catch up for breakfast! We ordered these meals to share. The eggs were amazing, especially for those of you who love truffle but I was disappointed in the french toast, it was so crunchy and dry at the same time. Will be back to try other things on the menu for sure though! Moreover, the service was really nice and the place is cute.<br/>

It was quiet and well lit. Two of the things we were looking for at that time. The service was quick even though it was just one server -Cedric, who was really swift and polite! If you’re looking for a beautiful place for a read or cup of coffee with a serene view, this a definite go.

The place is wonderful and delightful. We went for breakfast and the food taste was amazing with great portions. Service is very good and the waiter arranged the club can to transfer us to our parking which was really far just because my wife was pregnant. Only the coffee was not like the food but still ok, beans taste can be better not how its made.<br/>Overall great experience would recommend this place a lot.

I am a huge fan of this French Toast, but I must say that adding crispy crunchiness and berries to the outside just takes it to a new level. This cafe has lovely  breakfast recipes, but whenever I go there i have this toast "the best French Toast ever!”

We were not allowed to use our Zomato Gold,<br/>despite checking with Zomato staff online whether it was a permitted day or a exclusion prior. We were able to unlock the visit as per the app. But the manager informed us they would not be accepting it as it was a public holiday. Very disappointed.<br/>

Me & my wife have different taste in food and it’s very rare that we both like the taste of the same dish but this time it was an exception. We both loved it 😍🙈. This acai bowl has granola, banana, blueberries, coconut flex ,goji berries , and topped with chia seeds. All the ingredients were fresh and super tasty. This is the best Acai bowl we have ever had (and believe me we have tried lot of restaurants 😁) but at the same time this is the most expensive acai bowl we have had so far. This place is really expensive 💰.<br/>We also ordered “Fresh made Guacamole & chips, masala omelette, No.57 signature “Ermahgerd”. All items were super tasty 😋. Overall the experience was very good. Nice sitting area and friendly staff, service was quick. But it was heavy on our pocket so we will give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went there for breakfast with a friend. We took one egg benedict and one middle eastren breakfast. Unfortunetely both were really bad. I tried egg benedict in different places and this is the worst. I even couldn't eat the smoked salmon and the spinach. The other meal was also tasteless and full of hot pepper. Will never go back for a breakfast in this place and I don't recommend it at all.

Difficult to find and locate the place but its a hidden gem, serves good quality food made with fresh ingredients. <br/><br/>Mushroom Toast, Pastas, burgers everything was good and worth the money.

Boutique cafe is located in beautiful Bateen Wharf<br/>If you’re looking for an unforgettable date then this one of the finest place in Abu Dhabi City..<br/>Main course items are bit pricy but coffee / juices are very moderately prized... <br/><br/>

I was searching for a good breakfast and i stumbled upon this restaurant as it has apparently a very good rating. Ordered hash brown benedict and asked for the dessert bestseller, both failed my expectations. as pictured below, the hash brown benedict was cold and dry, hollandaise sauce was thick and dried up and again,cold (it looked like butter, melted then frozen ). The potato tasted dry and old though our table was just in front of the kitchen. The recommended dessert is too sweet and tastes a bit more like raw cookie dough or maybe it’s just the way they do it. I don’t understand how they got a high rating!!! Or maybe we just ordered the wrong food or we were there at the wrong time, either way we were very dissatisfied! Especially that they’re a bit pricey.😕

Well it’s located in a maze but we did manage to find it finally.. the place looks very elegant and chic ... ordered the Burrito breakfast and just loved it ... staff was courteous and attentive... good to go ..!!

My favourite place for burgers! They serve one of the most delicious Southern Fried Chicken Burgers I’ve ever had in my life and all my friends whom I asked to try it agree! <br/><br/>

When we arrived the Cafe was empty even its Friday evening. We ordered signature burger, French toast and juice. The burger was like any cafeteria burger and fries as well less than average the toast was not anything special and they did do any effort for the food presentation.

I have tried a recommendation given by the waiter and boy was it amazing! I could not have picked a better choice myself. The crunchy vanilla French toast with creme anglaise and maple syrup exceeded my expectations.

It’s on of those days when you want to have late a breakfast at no.57 boutique cafe.They serve their breakfast on Friday and Saturday till 6 pm..I ordered French toast and shakshouka which turns out amazing..Picture says it all..will definitely go again to their main courses..Combination of breakfast should be improved.They don’t have English breakfast which is a let down!!!

We waited 10 minutes to make an order. One of the employees was actually wearing AirPods. <br/> <br/>At each table they have a campaign post preventing the use of plastic straws. Yet are serving plastic straws without asking if I want one.. when I received the straw it was drenched in coffee , when I showed it to one of the waiters, he forcefully removed it from my hand. <br/>Food Quality: 5/10<br/>The bread provided was stale <br/>Fries were served cold <br/>Eggs were OK. <br/>Prices are too overpriced!! <br/><br/>I would not recommend. <br/>

A bit hidden but that makes the place more beuatiful. It was fun when we discovered this cafe. The food was great as well as the staff. We definitely recommend the cafe to our family and friends.

Since the opening of No.57 i go there at least 3 times a month. I just love this place the ambience is amazing and the food is something else. Emirati sheyat is my fav dish.

Got shakshuka delivered this morning. Included a request to not have bell peppers but my order came with bell peppers. However the restaurant manager promptly rectified the issue and it was just a misunderstanding. The shakshuka is a little on the salty side but tastes good spice wise.

13 reasons why this place is overrated: <br/><br/>1- 70 dirham burger is a shake shack knock off. Not a gourmet burger as we expected. <br/><br/>2- risotto was not available <br/><br/>3- Mexican salad seasoning was heavy and full of mayo<br/><br/>4- truffle fries were regular fries with truffle oil splattered on it - no creativity. <br/><br/>5- the buffalo wings had a weird after taste <br/><br/>6- shepherds pie was not available <br/><br/>7- mojito were average <br/><br/>8- steak sandwich was dry and tasted weird <br/><br/>9- slow cooked bolognese was not available <br/><br/>10- lobster linguine not available <br/><br/>11- overpriced and average quality<br/><br/>12- fries were average<br/><br/>13- bread is too doughy <br/><br/>I have to give this place some credit for their great marketing. No. Fifty Seven Boutique Cafe is located in Al Marasy in the bateen area. The cafe beautiful and really elegant interior I have to say. The way of serving is also beautiful and the staff quite friendly. In regard of their food It was an disappointment. Their fries were dry and kind off salty. Beside the taste of the food their menu is also overpriced I think which is not worth the taste of the food.

Never had a problem with this place before. I ordered the southern fried chicken burger today. It tasted like fish. I even cut it for my friend to taste it, and they had the same response. It was really bad. I had the burger before and it didn’t suck, but now with the ricotta pancakes being out of the all day menu, I’m never ordering or going there ever again. The fries were not good either, and even the ketchup that came with it had a strange taste.

They clearly pay attention to detail; books line their shelves, a linen apron hangs delicately on the wall and a small cactus is the centrepiece of each table. <br/><br/>The breakfast menu looks like a winner.<br/><br/>The shakshouka ordered was delicious and the staff were generous to offer more breads.<br/>Orange juice with shakshouka was a treat to have.<br/>Ricotta pancake was prepared perfectly and nicely decorated sliced bananas just made it look even better and tastier.<br/><br/>All in all, we had a great time at No. FiftySeven. With a very nice, professional and attentive wait staff, top of the range design, and gourmet dishes, we leave eager to return, probably on a weekend so we can really linger and appreciate the restaurant’s ambiance.

It’s full of salt it’s deadly . U can’t taste anything but salt this so horrible. It’s like spending 65 dhs on a bottle of salt! It’s suppose to be a healthier choice of appetizer guacamole . U can’t even taste the avocado at all from the salt ! It’s not even worth 10 dhs I️ had to throw it all away 👎🏼

Bloody dreadful! What a bloody waste of money.The toffee skillet tasted like shit! It was obviously rotten and was not fresh.On top of that it was overbaked like a stone.What on bloody earth is wrong with you people? The order I placed was awful.I would give you a zero but unfortunately zomato requires its users to give atleast one star.The food was a bloody joke!

I really love their food but the service is not that good for 3 times in a row, first time my credit card was given to another customer and second time my order was given to another customer and today it took them 30 minutes to get my my bill cause they were busy pleasing a customer!

Before even entering the place, I knew I loved it because they sent a buggy to pick us up from the valet. We ordered the Mexican salad (one with chicken, and one without) along with the Deep Fried Mac and Cheese. To drink, we got the virgin mojito, and a lemon and mint. The food came ridiculously fast, and was good. Would definitely go here again.

This place is really cozy and lovely..love the decoration and the service..I wasn’t in the mood to try something new that day.<br/>So I decided to have their signature burger. Medium well.<br/>Love the meat it’s was so juicy and tender I enjoyed the sauce a lot not too heavy. <br/>I recommend this place.

The charcoal pancakes were so hard, there were like biscuits. Couldn’t cut through with a knife and was a sheer waste.

Two wrong turns and a circle around the wharf later we finally arrived at the place. We chose to sit inside as it was too windy outdoors. The staff was polite and let us take our time deciding what we'd like to have. We chose the Grilled Salmon and Shepherds Pie. The quality definitely surpassed the quantity. People looking out for healthy options should give this place a try.

Nice ambience by the sea, freshly and well prepared signature items, and a courteous and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend the cookie skillet and lobster linguini.

Overall not terribly hygienic and we were dissatisfied with the service. Waitress was mopping the floor and then going back and handling food. Food was fair but our waitress kept going back and eating french fries and then bringing our food without washing her hands. She was standing behind the wall in the corner by the door but we could see her and hear her talking tagolog with her friends and laughing. We said excuse me several times to get her attention but she tried to ignore us. Won't go back.

Went there for breakfast, we ordered:<br/>- The avocado toast with poached eggs: it was really good specially that the avocado had a lot of lemon in it.<br/>- The trio: was good, it has a slice of salmon, scrambeled eggs and 2 pancakes.<br/>- Croissant salmon benedict: was good.<br/><br/>

The food was great but the delivery took almost w hours. Zomato chat was able to refund some with Zomato credit.

Orderd three desserts. The bannoffee the fondant and got a cheese cake free with treats. Can say that any of them were is exceptional considering the price... but from the packaging that it came in im guessing alot of that price goes towards the appearance of the food rather than the taste or quality of ingredients. To me if i pay 50 dhs for a dessert i want it to taste good and to be able to taste good quality ingredients so i doubt id order from here again.

I’ve heard good stuff about the breakfast and deserts here. We came here just for desert, ordered the skillet cookie, every mouthful was yumm!! Also tried out the marshmallow cheesecake thing which tasted awesome too. <br/><br/>The deco inside looked really cool, as the weather is nice we chose to sit outside. Lovely staff too<br/><br/>I’d love to come back to try the breakfast and more desert ofcourse 🤪

Ordered the egg whites omelet and the egg shakshouka. The food was good except for the zucchini hash browns they were too oily and dry. Unfortunately we had to opt for them as there was no regular hash browns. Overall it was a good visit and the location and ambience is lovely.

Had breakfast hete and food quality is the worst I have ever tried. 👎🏼👎🏼 I’m having trouble in my stomach right now because of the food i ate there. Totally disappointed and won’t recommend this restaurant.

I heard a lot of comments about caffe 57 and decided to try it. We went there for breakfast and it was very disappointing experience. The actual restaurant looks nice and get pleasant view, was not busy at all. We ordered huevos rancheros and it was basically beans in ketchup and spicy sauce, with only one egg, but in the menu written actually eggs, plus soggy tortillas underneath of dish, the portion way to small. Black bagel was tasteless and too big, it was uncomfortable to hold it together, only 3 skinny slices of ham, egg and salad, plus quite spicy sauce.

This classy place is located in a beautiful environment, the interior is very nice and clean and the staff very friendly! We went for cheeseburger with fries and quinoa salad. The cheeseburger was good and tasty, the taste was much better than that of burgers in fastfood places. We LOVED the french fries! The quinoa salad was beautifully prepared, the salad sauce was, however, a bit tasteless. We appreciated the fact that they brought bread with olive oil and balsamico dressing for appetizers which isn‘t really common in other places. Another plus: they use free range eggs for all dishes with egg. However, they should inform people in advance that they cannot choose from the breakfast menu after 12:30 on weekdays. On weekends, breakfast is until 6 p.m.

This place had a posh ambience but failed to impress with the food. We had buffalo wings and mexican grilled chicken which were just average. We ordered a dessert named pavlova that came with edible flowers and berries in whipped cream which was a disaster and overpriced.

I visited this place for lunch and had a Mexican grilled Chicken. I really don’t know how to put this into words, but in short, it was a big disappointment.<br/>I believe this place is great for breakfast or brunch but definitely not lunch.<br/>Haven’t tried anything ever since. <br/>It had a very classy ambiance, I must say.

i had breakfast there with large group of friends, i really loved the food i have tried the avocado toast and the charcoal pancakes but relative to the price i would say it is ok. I love this place if its a small group coz they dont have big tables and outside not enough umbrellas to make the place shaded and inside the large space is infront of the kitchen with not enough air condition and no curtains so it was super hot to bear!! Plus the waiters dun smile at ur face or friendly enough to make u feel welcome. My overall experience wasnt the best ro visit this place again

So recently went for breakfast in no.57 boutique cafe. It such an elegant classy place whether for breakfast , lunch or dinner or simply just a coffee and I love their location in marasy al bateen👌🏾. I had the black bagel which is fried egg, turkey ham , avocado , alfalfa sprouts and siracha mayo on top of the bagel which I thought is small cherry tomatoes😂🙈. Verdict it was good but quite spicy so people who don't like spicy should take note lol and felt the bagel was too thick otherwise it would of been perfect . Tried the 3 egg herb omelette and chose all the fillings which is (pepper,tomato,onion,veal bacon,cheddar cheese, chilli and mushroom). It was delicious 😋. For dessert had the crunch vanilla French toast which was fluffy✔️, perfect amount of sweetness✔️ and with fresh berries✔️. Delicious food from appetizers to dessert. Great ambiance with lovely views near the marina and helpful wait staff. Highly recommend, especially a larger group so you can try more of the dishes and share

This is one of the best places in Abu Dhabi. We went here for lunch a couple of times but it’s the breakfast that stands out. The atmosphere of the place inside, the tables outside during a sunset and the surroundings of the marina where you find this cafe makes it special. Definitely a good recommendation for any occasion!

I had heard so much about the food here. Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed by the way the restaurant has performed today. First my delivery was late by 30 minutes.. The food arrived 90 minutes after the order was placed. The spaghetti had soaked most of the sauce by the time it was delivered. That probably means it was cooked but not delivered on time. The chocolate fondant did not come with vanilla ice cream as stated. If the restaurant does not deliver ice cream they should not charge customers for it. I understand that the kitchen might have had glitches occasionally. But if the order was going to be late, the least a customer can expect is a courtesy call. Especially when they are charging almost 200 dhs for a main dish and dessert. It is totally unacceptable that even accepted an order if their kitchen is busy. I came back from a late hard day of work. I did not get my food till 11:30 and in the meantime the restaurant does not even pick up calls. I did not know whether to order dinner from another place so late in the night or just wait for them. This is totally unacceptable (though I agree the food tastes good. However that is no excuse for such performance)

The place sure looks welcoming! Great decore... very Hipster Chic with an awesome music play list and great views of the little "Mina" if seating outdoors. <br/><br/>But unfortunately the food it's way over rated, and after reading reviews I sure have been giving it a few chances. Still have hopes on their breakfast but as they stop serving it "quit early" i haven't got the chance yet.<br/><br/>I found their lobster pasta really flavorless.. basically just plain tomato sauce with lobster. Cool plating but no flavor. <br/>Their burgers are average and nothing wow about them. Their chicken burgers in the other hand had some charisma but has sure now dropped in quality... used to be a nice chicken breast piece that it's now been substituted by a sure injected low quality brand...the color of it...it's sure to white and juice to be 100% natural. Did almost not know if I was having chicken or fish ?!? Their calamari way to oily... wile their nachos are to die for. Can also say their deserts are pretty good. But the food leaves lots to desire. Hopping their breakfast will give me a better impression. As I do love the ambience of the place and it location. But if food it's not good... sure will just be for coffee and desert. <br/><br/>Would also remark that their menu cards gives lots to say... perhaps time to change them when they start getting spots on them. Not very appealing to get a dirty one, wile one it's about to order food... makes one wonder how the kitchen looks... that it's not in the eye of the customer.

I guess it's my fault for ordering butter chicken and malabar prawns from a fancy cafe serving international cuisine. But we were in a mood for curry and for over spending. <br/><br/>The butter chicken was tasty but the chicken was slightly under cooked. Not bad enough stop eating but it was chewy. The malabar prawn curry was a huge disappointment. Prawns didn't seem well marinated and the curry was bland and flavorless. <br/><br/>The packing was really fancy, paper containers. But unfortunately one of the containers had opened and the other was a bit bent out of shape. The cost of the meal around AED 170 for two dishes of curry was also quite ridiculous, so maybe my expectations were high.

The food is here is too good specially when combined with the fancy ambiance. The owner has paid attention to the finest of the details and this made the cafe so close to perfection. The presentation of food is unique and appetizing, the ingredients are fresh and the food is made to order.<br/>I have tried the cheese burger and the fried townie truffle bites and OMG was that the perfect meal <br/>The staff is very friendly but the price tag is a bit on the high end so get set to spend more than your usual when you walk in. <br/>Recommended

Its one of the good places in Abu Dhabi to have your breakfast. I ordered their shakshoka, croissant Benedict & french toast. For coffee i had Turkish not the best but its nice. The food is good and the environment of the restaurant is comforting. Not a crowded restaurant which makes it good for family.

This place came up on my Insta feed, and the activated charcoal dishes looked tempting enough to warrant a long drive all the way from Dubai to check it out- <br/>Getting there- The location shown by Google Maps was a tad bit confusing, until we spotted the Al Marasy building number two away from the main road.(Free Valet Parking available- Don't forget to validate your ticket) . <br/>Decor/Ambiance- The restaurant is well lit, and grey/black minimalist design, with a partial view of the Harbor. Loved the huge bookcase with old bound books . <br/>Food- we ordered the Activated Charcoal pancakes, Black Cappuccino with activated charcoal and the Spritzer( we asked for the black ice-cream as seen on instagram, but it turns out that they make it specially for events/catering) The food came quite fast , with a nice dollop of butter on top of the pancakes , blackberries and blueberries for garnish, and two dips- maple syrup and breakfast cream. The pancakes were surprisingly soft, and the taste was quite good with an almost melt in the mouth consistency. The Black cappuccino (not in the printed menu) came with a nice latte art, and tasted like a normal cappuccino, was lukewarm(i prefer hot coffee). It did leave a black ring on my lips... not unexpected when charcoal is involved.. he he. The Spritzer was not as remarkable as the other two items we had ordered in terms of taste or presentation. <br/>Service- Amazing service, the lady assigned to our table was quite accommodating to our questions and the fact that we ordered a breakfast item in the middle of the day. She suggested the black cappuccino which was not on the menu (thank you for that). <br/>Highlights- Ambiance, Instaworthy food, Activated charcoal uniqueness. Value for money- Not bad considering the taste and the presentation. Do check it out if you feel like spending a quiet weekend overlooking the harbor with some digestive goodness in your food. We are definitely coming back for more

Didnt like anything on the limited menu. Stuff posted on their Instagram page are not available which is very disappointing. Portions are small and staff aren't so friendly. I only gave 2 points for the fancy tables set up

Although reaching them was a bit confusing, it's a classy clam place. I bet this place is amazing during winter. <br/>I got the purple juice, it was very refreshing..I ordered to the syrup aside which was a better idea so I can control the sweetness. <br/>Also ordered vanilla French toast, highly recommended .. do not put the caramel before trying the taste of the toast first, with powdered sugar &hearts;️ that would be my tip. <br/>I loved how fluffy it was and light &hearts;️&hearts;️ <br/><br/>Recommended for couples

Great place!!!! Everything from start to end was amazing. From the great job of the hostess (Janna) to the amazinnnng food (especially the desserts). Highly recommend.

Good restaurant with good and attentive service in Al Bateen, with pricey drinks. We had the Salmon eggs benedict and the Huevos Rancheros. The Huevos were very tasty and actually quite spicy, and were nicely presented. The only niggle: they could have provided 2 eggs instead of one. The Eggs Benedict were also nicely presented and tasted good. <br/>The Mocktails were a bit of a disappointment, tasting rather uninspired, that priced at 35 Aed. <br/>Service was attentive, the kitchen though was a bit inflexible. We wanted to order Steak Sandwich, but that was deemed not possible, as it is a lunch item. We ordered at 11:45...<br/><br/>The interior design is pleasant and original. Overall we were pleased and will probably return for lunch or dinner (and if it's just to get our steak sandwich ;)

Black pancakes!? What?! When I heard that this cafe offered such a cool creation, my friends and I decided to drive all the way to Abu Dhabi to get a taste of these pancakes and see what they were all about. Basically, these pancakes are Charcoal pancakes, a powder added to pancake to make them more healthy and easier to digest. Served with berries and blueberry and two pieces of butter on top, this pancake was quite satisfactory.

I am impressed with the new breakfast menu launched and I can't wait to try it all 😍😍😍 For now I tried the Activated Charcoal Pancake And it was delicious . There was no eggy taste and it's super healthy great for ur digestive system ! And no it didn't taste as if it was burned 😂

This place serves up good food and offers a great view ! Having heard a lot of this place , headed there for breakfast and was definitely not disappointed! It took us a couple of minutes to find the place but once we did we were very pleased with the interiors and ambience of the place! <br/>We ordered the shakshuka with sides of bacon and hash browns and the ricotta pancakes both really amazing ! The desert selection looked beautiful but unfortunately the breakfast left us too full to try anything else ! Definitely going to revisiting this place to try the other things on the menu 😊

They claim to offer "home delivery" and then I am told that the driver is on a 3 hour break and that they've been working on their delivery schedule - this was forever ago. I called today and they still don't have delivery with the same excuses!

This place is good... how good??... well it's so good you will be spanking yourself with every bite!!! This is what a restaurant should be like... have a modest menu but do it right... no point in having the world's entire dish list on the menu and not do most of them justice... the crown dish that was so good.... I almost smacked my wife has to be the... wait for it.... No. 57 signature... I won't type the gibberish in the apostrophes but that will be your first word when u bite into that dish. Hands down this place will see a lot of me. <br/>Minus marks for the lady on the phone not knowing how to explain the location over the phone... I mean it's only a necessary skill to have to get the customers there... and the location on the map is off... almost 300m off.... precision is key here guys... the world needs to get spanking and you are not doing a good job at that...every thing else.... full marks

The pasta is good, however i felt that the portion of food served is not too much and not too little. just about the usual for a normal eating person. if you go on empty stomach you are gonna have to order two dishes of eat a full course from appetizers, main dish, sweets and coffee 👍🏻

Nestled in the predominantly wealthy residential area of Al Marasy is a light, airy cafe, akin to a room you might find in the suburbias around European capitals rather than Abu Dhabi. One can only see it as a bonus that the outside area is warm enough to sit in all year round. <br/><br/>The atmosphere is relaxed, partly due to a considered musical playlist, rather than the thumping modern rubbish that many establishments subject their customers to and although service at times can be slow and staff can be a little inattentive compared to the silver service establishments littering the city, it allows you to sit back and relax without any implied pressure of leaving quickly. The only downfall of the room is that the couch style seating is too low for the table. Opt for a seat.<br/><br/>The quality of its food is mixed. Care has gone in to the menu, and is backed by Chef's with some talent. However, having eaten here a couple of times,  I have not yet come away with a wow feeling, in the same way I do when I visit the leader of the Cafe class in the UAE - Tom and Serg in Dubai. The Sheyat Emirati rice with lamb is an interesting dish that begins to bore after 4 or 5 mouthfuls. There is some depth to the dish but I feel that an additional element bringing more texture could lift it. <br/><br/>Chicken in Coriander and Coconut sauce is actually a curry of sorts. The coconut flavour is hinted at, and although pleasant enough to eat, it is let down by dry, overdone rice that brought an unintended crunch to the dish. <br/><br/>It's location has likely influenced the sometimes outrageous prices on the menu. A side of mushrooms for breakfast? That will be 25AED. Five English Pounds. 7 American Dollars. You would imagine that these mushrooms had magical qualities for that price, or had been handpicked in Japan, neither of which are true. Cafe Arabia down the road will give you the same quality for 6AED. A Burrata Cheese starter for 85AED (a starter as expensive as most of the mains) or poached egg breakfast for 65AED all go in to the high profit margin, mediocre quality bucket.<br/><br/>There are people in Abu Dhabi who are willing to pay these prices. However, I have never seen this dining room filled, and I often have trouble getting in to the bottom floor of Cafe Arabia or Tom and Serg of a Saturday morning... this could be why.<br/><br/>There is no doubt that No 57 has some quality items on its menu, but between it's silly pricing, at times inattentive staff and inconsistent food, it has some work to do to catch up on the competition.

The ambiance is amazing , all hints of 50 shades of grey theme. The service is up to its best and the food is simply amazing. Totally in love with the place ive been for so many occasions . Highly recommended for breakfast and coffee and some desserts. <br/>
