(التعليق الأصلي) It's always been me and my friends favorite place since 2018. The band, the staffs, the food and everything are just amazing. They also have an Entertainer - a good discount always. I was so fond before of their ladies night every Monday or Tuesday before that every week, me and my colleague will go there for a drink. We are enjoying their band too. Their music makes you groove most of the time. It's kinda expensive but you will not feel it since you will enjoy and like the vibe so much. It's so fun in there. With those LCD's which sports are playing and those billiards and darts. Amazing! Recommended.

I always go to Porters for a drink or two and always end up having a good time. The pub is quite big yet has a cozy feeling to it. I've only tried the Porters burger, I'd give it a 4/5. The only downside to the bar is that it gets a bit busy sometimes and the orders take a lot of time to arrive.

We went there today to have dinner somewhere different and I always wanted to try porters. Long story short the food was phenomenal!... tasted redicoulusly good! The atmosphere was, well it's a pub !... the staff were really friendly and the security guard at the entrance everyone seems to complain about was a really nice guy !...

Its an amazing place and its fun to b here with friends...food choices r quite huge and its a big place to accommodate many....lovely band on weekends...

The ambience is great for Abu dhabi...The beer deals were good...The food was quite nice...specially the all day breakfast! I dont know how buzzing it is at night coz both times we have visited in the afternoon for lunch and it was kind of dull and not full..

The security did not allow me to go in as i am wearing shorts and a sandal which i can understand if its the policy however he allowed a western expat wearing exactly the same sandal as mine....this to me is a discrimination....

I visit with my frnds on sep 5th is 19, we order 2 virgin Pinacolada, 2 budwiser on zomato gold and additional 1 water and 1 Heineken which come after 30 mins, my server was “Douglas” when i asked for bill Mr. Douglas decide to punch 2 Heineken instead of 1 when i asked politely that i ordered 1 Heineken not 2 he said that i am drunk n i am lying, refused to call the manager in a extremely rude way I asked someone else to call the manager n told manager that this is miss understanding, to my surprise manager was also supporting Mr. Douglas and say that they are right, I ask him to check the camera, after checking the camera manager realized that his stuff “Mr. Douglas” was extremely extremely rude and wrong he didn’t serve me 2 Heineken he served me only 1 and he was charging me with 2 Heineken. He apologize and revised the bill but it’s really disappointed me and embarrassed me in front of my frnds I highly don’t recommend this place

After putting 4 stars for Porters, I decrease them to 1 for the rude treatment last night from the security person. It's the first time I'm asked for my UAE id at Porters and then he didn't accept the card I got first which was medical insurance. I left after this although I was going to spend some good time there.<br/><br/>Previous review: I really liked this pub. The fast service and good beer. It's good for a fun night out yet not for calm nights of course. I wish there were more places to find though. Always fully booked.

Porters is super fun whether it’s with a group or solo or with your siblings bcz you need to hang out. The live band is so full of life and the bursts of classic rock they belt out is such a relief in a place otherwise flooded with everything but rock. Today being a weekend, I was struck with an unusual craving for some English Breakfast which lead me to the Porter’s Breakfast menu next to Al Wahda Mall (AUH).<br/><br/>Let me start of with the Pros,<br/>1.The waiter was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.<br/>2.As seen in the picture, the eggs, steak, etc were all cooked to perfection and was well suited and flavored to put out the cravings I had. The sumptuous breakfast was enough to keep me full (Im on the plus size side with a massive appetite ) until lunch.<br/><br/>I would definitely prefer trying it out again once again.<br/><br/><br/>Lets finally end the review with few of the Cons that I experienced (Ofcourse I speak for myself here and not for ones to come or to have already visited)<br/><br/>1.I was poured water out of a 500ml mineral water bottle without asking if I wanted any water.<br/>Well naturally this gesture would mean that its ‘On the House’ or ‘Complimentary’ (obviously)<br/><br/>But things got surprising when the final bill popped up as there was an additional AED 15 charged to it.<br/>The waiter apologized directly for not being able to give it as a complimentary addition.<br/><br/>Since I already drank it, I chose not to create a scene there and kept the jovial mood undisturbed .<br/><br/>Caution: A 500ml bottle of water definitely cost way less that 15 bucks so be on the lookout for such a miscommunication.<br/><br/>2.The glass in which water was served in had an after-stench of alcohol (probably from the previous night’s drinking.<br/><br/>For sober folks like us such an encounter may not seem to be left ignored.<br/><br/><br/>Nevertheless, the food was splendid but the customer satisfaction can still be improved upon.<br/><br/><br/>Must say that the Hasbrowns are to die for!❤️<br/>

If you're looking forward to dancing the night away, or meeting someone head to Porter's. If not, and what you're looking for is some place to hang out with friends or just by yourself to relax and unwind, you may as well skip it.<br/><br/>Ambience - Well, the place is done up pretty well and has a vintage look to it. There are dartboards and pool boards to while away your time. The music however is too loud for my preference, that you literally have to yell at the person next to you. That band however is really good at what they do, and plays a really good mix of songs that will get your toes tapping. It however is also a small place with a huge crowd of which almost 80% smoke. I don't think there is any non smoking area as in some bars and the confined and limited space doesn't help it. The dance floor too is a tiny square, but hey, it's a pub and not a night club, so I guess I can't complain.<br/><br/>We ordered a couple of drinks and a plate of buffalo wings. Definitely, the best wings we have had and the sauce was so tangy and the portion's good too. The drinks didn't cut it anyway and were just meh!<br/><br/>Customer service is outstanding. They do a good job attending to all customers and keeping time with the orders despite the crazy crowd around. Definitely, Pat's on the back for these guys.

We went for a Ladies Night on a Monday. Food took some time but worth it because of the big serving. Wasnt able to finish mine. Maybe they dont have enought staff that night coz it’s so hard to call for them. The band is awesome! The overall experience is amazing. We’ll definitely comeback for another ladies night. 😋

Lovely ambience and a very lively place. Food quality and quantity were very good. Prices are very reasonable considering the place. DJ and live band lifted the atmosphere. Number of servers were very less, considering the number of customers and they were struggling to keep up with customers orders . Everything else was just amazing will certainly visit again .

Our go to place after a tiresome long week. Good vibe..good food..happy hour drinks all the till midnight..and the staff are really friendly. The porters team..the ground managers,waiters there are really helpful and friendly and make us want to come back. Id like to mention two memorable waiters who serve us most of the time were Teddy and since about few months now we had the pleasure of being served by Grace...who make us feel its our joint to be in.

Me and my husband came here on a Friday night! And oh boy what a great evening that was! We had the zomato gold on drinks, which again is a great offer! There was a live band which was playing and yes, they were great! Anyone who doesn't know what to do for a Friday evening, go spend it at Porters!

Best pub location wise, right behind the bus station and very close to Al WAHDA mall. It’s a perfect place to watch football or hang out with friends, you can follow them on social media to keep and eye for some amazing live music. This place was a saviour for us during our days in Abu Dhabi. The best part about this place is the price is surprisingly lower as compared to other pubs in town. Hence you guys should definitely check this place out.

Been here on a Tuesday for the ladies night, was an absolutely power packed night, with friends and family! The band was the highlight of the night and was a blast. Typical pub grub. <br/><br/>With the tasting platter, we chose the Cowboy Nachos, Spanish Tapas and Buffalo Wings which were up to mark! Also good were the Crispy Fried Squid and Boneless Chicken Wings. <br/><br/>On Friday, we were in to shoot some pool and throw some darts! However the pool table was pretty disappointing and unpredictable, the darts were pretty flimsy!<br/><br/>Overall, a great place to chill at!

Been here on a Saturday afternoon as i had an opportunity to dine in with my family - with kids. Kids are allowed only in the afternoons between 12pm to 6pm. It's a quite serene setup in the afternoons and were on the B1 level. Mark our attendant did a good job of hopping up and down to ensure we had all what we ordered. Due to obvious reasons, the time we took to place our order as well as receive it took time. I'm really Suprised by the management to decide on having only a single attendant the whole period of time. Even though we informed them ahead of time of our reservation and confirmation received that we would be dinning on the B1 floor. Food was great and was delivered exactly the way we prefered. For starters we had the fried squids along with bufallo wkngs. For the main course we ordered the T-bone steak, fish and chips, butter chicken meal. All to our delights. Wi-Fi available and valet parking.

Let me keep as simple as possibly can. This place is a world itself! I get really nice vibes here! This doesn't end here. The nachos is worth a try! Very pocket friendly. A big shoutout to Ms Grace. It's a racist pub. I know as I did not talk loudly, whereas the songs were on and a couple said I was loud, but the sound boxes were way louder. And everybody should check the bill as they charge for water too and it comes with the whisky. But will charge without your notice. Folks check before you pay.

A very neat and classic British pub. One can enjoy ambience, the lighting and great music. Food options weren’t that great. I have ordered Nachos, Buffalo Chicken wings,Fish and Chips. However it wasn’t really upto the expectations. One can have them just as Bar bites.

Cool place in general, the bar is spacious and looks very european. Would definitely visit a few more times. Didn't like the "working ladies" sitting in different corners of the bar heavily underdressed - you can't really ignore their presence.

I booked a table thru zomato for me and my friends. I arrived 10minutes before and approached the staff to ask where we’ll be seated. On her note my booking was not yet mentioned but she still assisted me and had me seated. I inquired about using zomato gold for the first time and she gladly accepted and honored it. We had 2 free drinks of the same kind. Food and drinks are affordable. Plus you will enjoy the band and the dj’s playlist. My friends also enjoyed the night and will come back next time😊

Great Place to watch football here... overall great atmosphere, their buffalo style wigs and lamb sausages & mashed potatoes are too good. <br/>Absolutely brilliant.

Love the ambience of the place. There's a band playing here generally on Thursdays. While the music is great , it does get a lil loud (In my opinion). I could barely hear<br/>what my friends were saying from across the table (rants, mostly). Hmm.. now to think of it, that isn't totally bad. I guess I'll get them here more often! :) The food is scrumptious. We had the beef ribs, Porters platter and a pie. All in all was a great evening!

Ambience was good. Ordered Hoegaarden and it tasted horrible. Was not chilled. Service was even worse. No one was ready to attend even though the crowd was very less. Would suggest to keep away from this place.

Was looking for some booze and it's ladies night, you get 3 free drinks, but they will only provide 2 vouchers, so feel free to ask for your 3rd drink. We also had dinner at the same time, ordered myself this steak pie, the pastry was well layered, crispy and moist filling of generous steak cuts, served with fries and string beans, it is easy to become a favorite. In addition, the buffalo wings tasted great, succulent and goes well with your booze.

It’s amazing underground sports bar , with nice music . The rates are reasonable and the happy hours is one of the longest in Abu Dhabi 12 noon to 12 PM. The bar manager Mr George is approachable for any on going offers. The lounge is of wooden chairs gives a feeling and vibe than you are in south London . The food is quite worth the money. It has pool tables on the first level and giant TV screens for football and cricket maniacs. I am a regular visitor to the bar , and I felt it would be fair and justice to write a comment . this is the first comment in my life on a bar

I went here alone just to chill and drink few pints of stella. Downstairs is too crowded so I always stay by the mini bar. Staffs are very accommodating. They're always smiling and very welcoming. Great place!

Great for sport and has a decent happy hour. Bar food is some of the best I've had. Suggest you give it a try. The only downside is the smokey atmosphere... I normally go when it's less busy and not a big issue.

Nice place to hangout on weekend, plenty of offers and god service with fantastic live band the guitarist is show stealer. Food n beverage are moderately priced. Service is good along with ambience, you have few games to kill time n compete with friends . Overall a good experience at this place.

Porters is the place to be when you have free time ot you want to relax and enjoy your cold beer. Variety of beers plus the happy hour which is a must and also the attitude of the staff is very professional. The only bad experience was one time i went after a party and no one had time to serve me and i was moved to a table in the far corner. But i forgive it for one time 😋

Porters' sub-terranean multi-level facility is architecturally very interesting.  Although marketed as an English pub, the food & service have generally been much better than in a genuine English venue.   The weak link until now has been the music.   Fortunately, Porters has now acquired the services of probably the best band in Abu Dhabi -- YFY, which previously played in Viewz and Cheers.  Their performances definitely put the cherry on the icing, as the English would say.   Now a great place for a fun evening!

I was really enjoying my Chelsea team in the big screen, Having good offer for dinner which is unlimited roasted assorted meat with beer, 75 aed it's really good offer.. Don't expect to get prime Quality of meat.. Look at the price.. But I am enjoying. The server was good mostly the Croatian girls.. She's so cute... :)) and the security is quite better, calm and look polite... Good improvement guard! I am sure I ll be back

We've been here several times, for a drink with friends. Pub looks nice and they have plenty of choices for drinks. Music is nice, only that especially in weekend is very loud so you can not be able to have a talk with your friends :)). Actually is quite loud the music for a pub/bar. One of the best tap lineups in AUH. The staff are friendly and the beer is reasonably priced. HEAPS of screens to watch the EPL so if you’re a football fan and don’t have eLife Tv at home come here!

Porters is still one of my favorites pubs in UAE. I used to go every weekend when I was living in Abu Dhabi and even took some of my friends who visited me there and they absolutely loved it!

We attended the media Event here last 27th September 2017 with some of my friends. It is my first time and the event is quite good. Staffs and everyone is friendly and warm.<br/>Anyhow, we enjoy the food and drinks. I got Stella Artois beer which is yum.<br/> Looking forward to try more of their noms.

The perfect place for weekend chill time. Situated in the heart of the city and serving everything what you ask for. <br/>Bar counter is the best option if you are going alone to enjoy and make new friends.

In one word - Great place!  Great ambience, friendly staff , happy hours.. And the pub has Wifi too ! Also another attraction is the live music ! So, in short, A Great place to wine and dine with friends or even if you are alone.. but I wish they had more options on the snacks/ short eats / starters menu.

The food was tasty. We had ceasar salad, nachos, chicken wrap and the mussel. I liked the mussel so much because it has a unique taste compare to the ones I previously had. The ambiance is truly Irish Pub. The singer have a mellow voice that makes the athmospher relaxing. Staffs are well known with the menu and fast. I have beenhere several times and I recommend the place to the people who nust want to have a good night wether a school night or weekend.

I don't drink, so I wont be serving porters any justice but I really love hanging out there even if I am not a drinker. The food there is good specially the steak and the burgers, the meat is fresh and packed with flavors. The surroundings are awesome with good music that puts you in the mood to have late dinner <br/>Recommended specially if you drink

Nice place with good beer options.. but the worst part of giving low rating is the security guard standing at the entrance who is highly racist and biased.. he doesn't have courtesy and manners to deal and talk to people coming in. He gives high importance to few raced people whereas he speaks with attitude and bullshit to people from other race as if he is the owner of the pub.. such people shud b replaced or trained properly to maintain the importance and value of the venue which is really good.. with courteous staff and amazing service.. such people on the entrance turns of the mood of the in coming customers.. management should monitor his behaviour strictly to train him properly.. as the person who can lick others should have courtesy to greet others equally.. n btw he is at the reception table at the entrance of the pub.. and such behaviour highly affects people visiting here for the first time.. and will make their mind to never visit this place again..just because of him..

It's just the perfect place to chill with friends, awesome selection of drinks. Nice and warm hospitality by staff, ambience is pure English/Irish pub kind of. It has a live band playing. Food is average you can experiment with dishes!! But yeah who goes to pub for dining!!<br/>And yeah they have happy hours on selected range of drinks till midnight strikes!!

We went for an early dinner last night ( good atmosphere) not full and the music was not loud which was perfect!<br/>Service was smooth and we sat downstairs. We ordered steak and mushroom pie which was disappointing since the traditional pie should be in a pot! What I had was more like a cornish pasty. My partner ordered Fish & Chips which was not bad. And the prices are reasonable.

One of my favorites places to go - music is great, staff are friendly, drinks are good. Never eaten there so not sure of the menu or the taste of the food. Go there to have a great time.<br/>Although they have screens to watch games, I did not enjoy watching the football match I was extremely interested in because of the music. I'd rather hear the commentator and the game.<br/>

I have to admit, this is one of the most charming places I have ever been to in AD. I just loved this place. The ambiance, decor, ' happy hours' and not to forget their live band. It can't get better than this. But then, why 4 stars? Cos if you are  heading for some good lunch or  dinner , then it just might not be the place for you. All said and done, do give a visit to Porter's once in a while to cheer you up from the relatively boring AD. Cheers.

The ambience is good.Food is fine not great. Music was okay. n@othing much happening on a fri night but people sitting quietly and chatting away...nothing exciting overall ! Yea they have a good wooden staircase for sure and 2 nice looking chandeliers<br/>

Located on the ground floor of the Grand Millenium, Al Wadha in Abu Dhabi, this dim-lit pub bursts with excitement. Entering the venue does require a bit of “scaling?” steps that take you underground, but that’ s only to create an appetite. Lined with photographs of various music icons along the wall, this place definitely gives you that “pub feel”.
