If you love Lebanese cuisine this is the best restaurant in abu dhabi with an amazing view and offcourse their delicious 😋 food..
Went here before but for today I tried to order online. Food was still amazing and delivered in a good quality.
I always said that Lebanese food should be eaten from street restaurants, specifically those in mussafah. However, Byblos defies this statement, it is an upscale but still affordable. The food quality is fantastic, the staff is respectful and the ambience is amazing (outside). Not a big fan of the indoor seating.
I visited this place for first time and loved it. I have rarely seen Lebanese mixed grill cooked to such perfection. Meat quality and spices were just mouth watering.
Yes, price is slightly high compared to inner city Arabic restaurants but that is attributable to this restaurant being inside Intercontinental hotel and Marina area.
Highly recommended for fine dining. Service was hospitable also and gentleman who served us was very polite and social.
The food was excellent and the service too .
Visited Byblos Sur Mer for the first time this Ramadan.. They have a good variety set menu and 3 choices of main course.. The food was great and the service was amazing. The staff are very nice and attending. Their shisha wasn't the best but it was fine. The atmosphere is nice and the place was almost full. They are more on the pricey side but they are worth visiting.
Well well this is the place for some authentic Lebanese food ..... the service was spot on ... the food arrived very quickly ... we ordered salads, kebabs with haloumi cheese and one with Karaz ... amazing flavors erupted in my mouth ... it was a great experience.. good to go...!!
Without doubt the best lebanese restaurant in town. Even though we go there very often I always tend to forget HOW good the food there actually is. The flavour explosion in my mouth along with the outstanding service make this restaurant one of my favourites in Abu Dhabi!!
I believe this is one of the best restaurant in town starting from the table setup, soup main courses and desserts amazing
Service as expected 5 starts
overall experience was great
Great place... great ambience... great food. Went there for an early dinner today. The inside and outside sitting both has great ambience. The food is outstanding. One of the best Arabic food I have had in the city. The best I found in the order was the batata harra, the mourabel, houmus, shish towouk and the chanklish. I had chanklish for the first time and loved it it’s a beautiful combination of spicy cheese and tomato with herbs. In desert we ordered the kunafa which for my taste palette was too cheesy. I think I have had better kunafa at other places. However it was a good evening out. Definitely worth another visit.
Great food! We went on a Friday and had the buffet. The options were endless and it was delicious. The staff is friendly as well. Will be back for sure
New to finding places in Abu Dhabi I jus checked the closest place to where I was and I found this spot by the edge of the water. A great place with good shisha, drinks and good food too. Try the Hummus with Cherry and the Sujuk.
Byblos sur mer intercontinental Hotels Group Abu Dhabi
The best restaurant in the town and launch bar
I recommend this restaurant for everyone
I went with my mom and friend. The service and atmosphere is excellent! We had the lobster kebeh, softshell crab, sea food platter and the most amazing sangria I ever tasted (and another cocktail).. I can't wait to go back.
I’m surprised that this place only gets a 3.7 out of 5. My visit here was amazing. Not only the food is delicious, but also their dishes are balanced with veggies and fruit. Their Friday brunch here is a must try. It was designed for 4-6 people but they modify the set for us two. It came with lots of variety and the potion is huge. I really enjoyed the food and the view here.
Budget: Pricey
Beautiful place, outdoor and indoor, it's just spectacular! The ambiance is amazing with live music going on. The place is most well known for its shishas and drinks, but we were here for much more. We ordered a bunch of different mains, but my favorite had to be the grilled prawns and the mixed platter! In general, all the mains were REALLY good, and literally NONE disappointed!
We also ordered a variety of drinks - lemon and mint and the strawberry drink were my favorites! From the dessert, we just had to order the chocolate cake - it was extremely smooth and one of the BEST lava cakes I've ever had, although I didn't like the ice-cream accompanied with it as much.
All in all, great place, beautiful interiors and hospitable staff, and most importantly - great food!
*Unfortunately, I don't have all the pictures, but just of the drink and dessert!
It was my girlfriends birthday and we went there. Food was great but there was a big gap in timing between the mezza and the main dish. They came and sang happy birthday which is so great and they added some extra candles on the cake without any extra charge. The price was good like any typical Lebanese luxurious restaurant prices. Overall Highly recommended.
If you want an authentic middle eastern feast this is the place I would recommend to indulge yourself in a truly Lebanese cuisine experience. Food is delicious!!!! From their mezze to their grilled meats and the fresh new backed breads... yet with a large variety of everything you could think of when you think of Lebanon. They sure do not compromise with the quality of their product and they ensure their food it's at it best.
Perfect for when having abroad visitors, specially in winter time, as you can seat outdoors catching the light breeze and enjoying the beautiful view of the Intercontinental Marina together with the Etihad towers wile having some shisha and a delightful dinner in good company.
On the other hand I would unfortunately not recommend this place for when it comes to special occasions such as New Year's Eve or Iftar...as in this occasions they lack on service as they do not seem to have worked out any service structure for big crowds yet. This leaving a big negative impact on the whole dining experience. Hot starters arriving cold, no drinks, etc... so I would recommend to go any other day but on big celebrations.
Beautiful place and a really nice ambiance
Simple and attractive interiors and decorations were so amazing
Excellent food quality and
Live music
perfect location
And prices were very high
Food is very delicious and perfectly cooked served hot and fresh
We would definitely keep coming for some more
Every bite felt special.
The iftar is not a buffet, only the sweets are, the food is a set menu. Its one of the best iftar places so far. The food was carefully selected and garnished with perfect flavors, nothing felt boring or average.
Nothing is compromised and although it's a set menu, you feel like you've had everything from hummus with grilled capsicum to freekeh with chicken.
The place is over-budget but the food is definitely worth it! The service was a bit slow even though it wasn't too full. Overall it was a great experience.
Ramadan Kareem!
Byblos Sur Mer is the located on the harbor of the long-standing Intercontinental hotel. It is a well-known Lebanese restaurant with a huge space that is perfect for weddings and large groups. And they do manage to fill it on a consistent basis. You should see the place on a Friday night with the belly dancers, singers, shisha out on the deck... it is a genuinely elegant Arabic party. It is actually one of my favorite Lebanese restaurants because of that (And of course due to the great food. Atmosphere is nothing without great food.). Having now been for dinner a few times, I can't wait to try the extravagant Friday brunch. However, this time I was here in celebration of Ramadan, at the Iftar.
The best Lebanese restaurant in town. I've been to many before but this one is amazing and they really care about food presentation. The only thing that I didn't like that small fried fish it was old and cold. Other than that it was good experience
This place is just perfect. It was the ladies nite when i had visited. The vibe of this place was just fantastic. The music was fast and groovy. The wine collection and the sheesha just added the extra zing to the evening. The food was good too. Special mention to the arayes...it was just perfect. Definately recommend this placce for a fun dinner with family or friends.
Beautiful ambience. Service is at point. Ask for your all time favs which may not be in the menu. I got falafel which is among the best that i have had in the city! Their signature dessert was filled with flavor of rose, cardamom and so many more ingredients. Delightful!
Good food , good ambience , perfect sheesha 😍. Service was good as well overall good experience . Loved the fried
Halloumi 😀. Definitely worth a visit
I went to this restaurant three times during Ramadan, so to make the long story short
Atmosphere was very ordinary nothing will let you feel that your for IFtar only the Tent is the addition, and what about the lighting it is more romantic that it should be and you can share your talks with the tables near your because of Ramadan.
Service: was fine at beginning, I can understand that it is Ramadan and they serve Ramadan iftar as a set menu and not as buffet, they have only sweet section to pick, but for the appetizers and the main courses they will serve for you on the table, no need to move a lot, I liked the idea as the Iftar tent was very narrow and no much space to mover around. The serving was little bit slowly for serving the main courses and to bring the hot beverages after Iftar.
Food: the appetizers were amazing really enjoyed all of them, you would like to keep eating appetizers only, faculty during my three times their I saw a lot of appetizers but only 5 main courses which were repeated, maybe because it is Ramadan they focused on the appetizers as many people would like to have variety and to take a bite from each appetizers and when you break your fasting you don’t want too much heavy main courses.
The sweets were delicious, fine and nice with many options.
The Price: I believe it was costly comparing to other Places within the same range.
Will I will try it again but not in Ramadan, yes I will do they have a nice seating area outside the tent, were you can enjoy the sea view, they are 2 floors and have the outside seating areas.
Eventually, it was not short story at all, maybe someone will ask himself if he didn’t like it why he went 2 times more after the first one, and I was invited for Iftar during the second and third visit.
Dining at Byblos, the newly opened Lebanese restaurant at the Interncontinental Hotel, you can expect some of the best Lebanese food you've tasted, but definitely the prices of what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant in a 5-star hotel. The food here is amazing. Granted, I wouldn't dine at Byblos if it wasn't an occasion; however, I can be sure that I will never forget the quality of the food!
I've visited Byblos twice, once for their opening and once for their Iftar. Both times the food was amazing. At their Iftar, I had the opportunity to try a variety of different food - particularly different hot and cold mezze. Unlike most other Iftar buffets, for the Iftar at Byblos, each table is filled with numerous different hot and cold mezze to start. Meanwhile, the waiters constantly offer you hot, freshly made bread, that really compliments the appetizers.
For the main courses, there were simply 2 dishes - a rice dish, and a plate of grilled meat - simple, yet delicious. I personally preferred the hot and cold appetizers as opposed to the main course dishes. The muttabal, fattoush, tabouli, kibbeh - all of the amazing Lebanese delicacies one better than the other!
Just like every restaurant at the Intercontinental, and the hotel itself, the ambiance is equally as amazing. With an Arabic touch to the decoration in the restaurant, the gold-coloured chandeliers adds richness to the atmosphere, allowing every individual to truly feel like they are dining in style!
The ambience and setup is good but the music was a bit too loud and some songs n lyrics went a bit out of sync...
The service staff is good and helpful... but seemes that there is less of them to cater to the scatered customers around as it takes time for them to get their attention or repeat orders...
The food is really good... especially the starter and they do a good job with bringing a bit of twist. They drinks and shisha they would have to work on a bit more as that seems to be a bit off beat.
A bit more overall improvement can take them to the next levels and justify the numbers on the bill.
Located in Intercontinental AbuDhabi the place and interior is really class. The service was good and the food is simply awesome along with the range of drinks & shisha . If you go around by evening hopefully u will get crowd but the place is spacious and seating is available indoor and outdoors . Must try is their fried frog legs arabic dressings which is specially raised in the farms of lebanon.
Some of dishes are fantastic some others are normal but none of them dissapointed. Service needs to improve, I'd requested a birthday cake because of my brother's birthday and we were waiting more than 30 minutes for it and it was delivered after 3 reminders.
Went there for lunch, loved the view! The food we ordered was good, my favorite was the liver. The juice is bottled fresh, not freshly squeezed. There's a free valet parking.
With a vast terrace space and some of the most spectacular views in the city, indeed this place stands out. we are talking about none other than the award winning Byblos Sur Mer, Lebanese restaurant which has so much more to offer other than just great food. We were graciously invited by the team at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and enjoyed their usual dinner specialties. I would like to talk about some great detectable bites and sips we had enjoyed throughout our business dinner.
Amazing lebanese food with a great view, everything we ordered was delicious!
Will definitely be my go to place for my next lebanese cravings
One of the best place for Lebanese food with live music. The ambience is amazing and their service is excellent. Reasonably good collection of Lebanese wines as well.
I dined at Byblos for an official dinner. The place is impressive and the al fresco setting is beautiful with the view of the Marina. However, at dinner, I would prefer some more lighting on the table so as to make out the food more clearly. The cold mezzeh was delicious, especially the mutabbal and the vine leaves. Others on the table also liked the tartare or raw flavored meat, which being a vegetarian I could not taste. In the hot mezzeh the choice for a vegetarian was very limited and I could taste only the Batata Harra which was spicy and average and the cheese and spinach pastries which I found very heavy. The complimentary arabic bread is a bit hard and not hot from the oven. The main course did not have anything for vegetarians so cannot comment. However people were praising the arayes. People also raved about the desserts but I could not try these as I had to leave. Overall a very good place for a get together, birthday etc. and the service is very good too. Limited options for vegetarians.
The Lebanese food was really extraordinary!!! Fresh, made by the chef who personally took the orders and gave his advices. The quality&quantity of appetizers was top notch. However I needed something to complete the atmosphere, but probably in lunch time You cannot pretend things like music&stuff... Compliments for good rose wine from Lebanon...
My friends & I went to try it for the first time the other day.
The Shisha was good & was at half price since it was ladies night. (Tuesday)
The service was excellent. They served us some complimentary hor d'oeuvres which tasted amazing & they had a DJ playing some really good music.
Highly recommended.

Best Lebanese cuisine ... Very nice presentation ..food are very tasty .. Sweet are amazing ... The staff are very friendly .. Good job chef Dany
We reached this place @ the lunch time. Little did we know that this place has an amazing dinner with a great live performance.
Ordered some shish tawook and shish kebab. The shish tawook was very juicy and tasty. Shish kebab was really the best of the dishes that we ordered.
But the one thing that really made my day was the dessert item called "kunafa". This dish was so specially prepared and so so so tasty ofcourse. Its actually made with cream of wheat and some cheese as the topping. Just amazing!!!
It usually takes couple of visits or year long relationship with the outlet before I commit to review...tonight is a miraculously special one, yesterday we agreed to invite colleagues from American (central and south), Asia, European and African offices of the organization out to a Lebanese : middle eastern dinner ... Most of the online reviews were in favor of Byblos, friends and family that live and the majority of the votes were also in favor of Byblos.. Going straight to the point, this is an A-class restaurant, excellent service, pleasant and helpful waiters, mouth watering food, and enchanting live music... Strongly recommend
Situated in Intercontinental hotel Abu Dhabi Marina, Byblos Sur Mer serve a lebanese Menu, with special signature. The food i tasty, clean but not too distinguished, some dishes in the Menu are so sophisticated. Raw meat is good, also the Barbecue & the Lebanese Mezzeh. Sea food & fish Not recommended. Service is special & the staff is professional.
Amazing food and service with a really nice entertainment program.. It's a good place whether you're going with friends or family.. Really enjoying my night there
I had today a very good experience in that restaurant were located on the sea side of intercontinental hotel Abu Dhabi. Every single dish was a nice experience started with cold mezze ( tabouleh, hommus, fatoush, motabal, etc.) Then hot mezze ( kebeh, fatair, ..etc.) to the amazing mix grill and last the desert cheese halwa. The atmosphere was great. I recommend to go for it.
Honestly I'm speechless, the atmosphere of the place plus the good quality is unbelievable, every single thing about this restaurant is amazing, they have their own signature on each single dish which make it special... I recommend it for Arabic food lover specially who are looking for real Lebanese food👍🏻 oh I forget to mention that they serve shisha which is prepared by expert Egyptian guys.

Adam and I had our "welcome back to Abu Dhabi" dinner at Byblos Sur Mer tonight! Located on the Al Bateen wharf, this posh restaurant offers a classy dining experience with gorgeous views.
We ordered a few mezza items-- loubieh, raheb, hummus, and lobster kibbeh. Each dish was basic, but presented well, and was lovely tasting! For our main dish, Adam and I shared a mixed grill platter with the usual chicken kabob, tikka kabob, kofta, lamb chops, and arayes. The chicken and meat were surprisingly tender and extremely juicy! Even Adam was amazed by their flavorful chicken!
The staff are polite and friendly. The shisha is great! Tuesdays are "Ladies' Night."
Overall, a good place if you are craving delicious, but basic-- not particularly fancy or fusion-- Lebanese food.
Went there twice for iftar and i must say i was very pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of the food was, home made look and feel, the iftar menu was very varied and not a single item was to be questioned. The place is huge, and has great views, and the staff are extremely friendly with a genuine sense of humor. Will definitely have to bring some friends in for a lunch escapade soon now that Ramadan is over. Highly recommend, and watch out it seems they have plenty of themed nights too.
Amazing food, great service. Th variety of food and the presentation is like no other.
The interio of the restaurant is welcoming. A great place for family dining.
