We had a minor incident involving one plate of food at the start of the evening however the staff handled the issue very professionally and really looked after us. The food was amazing and we ended up having a lovely night.

A friend highly recommended this place to go out for drinks especially during their ladies night as they have a really great offer and so we did! But it’s not all about the drinks though, the quality of the food was beyond! We ordered Buratta, California roll and Maki Furai and they were all delish that left me out of words in every bite. Absolutely the best ladies night I’ve been to so far as they offer not just 3, but free-flowing bevvies (sparkling, gin, wine, vodka) Yes! You read that right, Prosecco is included! And if you think that’s already amazing, there’s more! Ladies get to enjoy 50% off on food too from 7pm -11pm on Wednesdays. Guess who has a new hideout?
They also have a very friendly and helpful staff. Kudos to Sundar for the great service.

I love love their Thursday Attic Supper Club. You get unlimited bites and drinks for thres hours for the bargain price of 280 AED per couple using the entertainer. Both food and drinks are of great quality abd taste. They also have a great DJ, DJ Montana playing nice hits throughout the night. We always have a pleasant evening every time while there. It's absolutely a must try 👌👌
The lobster is good! Don’t like the spicy yuzu sauce though. Ambience is nice and service is attentive. Will definitely revisit this place.

Just a quick note to pass on my sincere thanks for yesterday evening, i have nothing but compliments with regards to the meal (the food was excellent my separate thanks to the chef) and the service (we had a delightful waiter Mr. Reggie, he had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency, he made certain we are having everything we needed!) I must give a special mention to Barfly manager Mr Rodrigo, who was very attentive and welcoming, clearly he excells at his role as he seemed to have time to spend with every table while still keeping an eye on his staff and service.
Everything was truly fantastic starting with the delicious food, great service and ending with enjoyable atmosphere and view ♥️

The tables and chairs outside are not like at the Buddha Bar Saadiyat, rather weather beaten. Food was fantastic and its freshness could be tasted. Staff are attentive and fast.

Just having a lovely night Barfly Buddha Bar with DJ mountana the music is flowing throughout the night with a mixture of genius’s. The food /beverage is 10/10 on a Wednesdays night ladies night it not a no miss the host HASAN does an amazing job with a pleasure smile.

Barfly is great for a date venue. They do a very good Sushi night! The bar usually gets busier lately but mostly it’s a quiet vibe in very nice surroundings. It is by the beach so you can have a wander or sit looking out at the water in hammocks. The Service is very good, always helpful without be over bearing.
The food is good ... nice for sharing. Not sure if it’s one of the places that you’ll frequently go to but for sure it’s a Good place to try middle eastern food with a twist. Price per person are average but on the higher side as the portions are on the smaller side to match the Arab style of having more than one order to share

Mega Brunch is such a novel concept and I was beyond thrilled to savor the same at Venetian Village. Located at the Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi, it hosts many restaurants within its beautiful hotel.
The Venetian Village is Abu Dhabi’s newest dining destination. Located within the grounds of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal and overlooking Khor Al Maqta, the Venetian Village brings together a collection of internationally acclaimed artisan restaurants offering exquisite cuisines from around the world.
The Mega Brunch included four of its restaurants – Barfly by Buddha bar, La Brasserie, Kaizen and Todd English’s Olives.
We walked around and chose to start with Barfly owing to its seafood counter. It also had an amazing grill station, sushi counter, a dessert station and gin and tonic bar. The place is so beautiful, the interiors had me gaping in awe. The bright vibrant hues of red and yellows complete with soothing music in the background provided an amazing ambiance for the brunch.
We, however chose to sit outside (hello amazing weather) and enjoyed the lovely view and moreish food. The food was saporous and delish. We tried their sushi, dimsums and their fresh sea food which was grilled to perfection.
The sushi’s were just perfect. The beef dimsums were mouthwatering and delish. I would have preferred a thinner dough wrap for both the seafood dimsums. However, the filling was very succulent.
We chose Sultan Ibrahim and salmon, and they were grilled to perfection and served. The dessert counter was heaven. Loved the macaroons, tarts, and baked Alaska.
The service was prompt, the staff were extremely polite and warm and assisted us with our food dilemmas.
Post a good hour and half at Barfly, we ventured out to try La Brasserie which had a cheese counter, Crepe and waffle station, cheese counter and a fresh seafood counter along with a Martini Bar.
Our next pit stop was Kaizen, they had a sushi and sashimi station along with a salad counter, with some far eastern cocktails. Needless to say the sushi and sashimi were an absolute hit. I loved how the staff were dressed in traditional Japanese outfits. The staff were extremely pleasant and helped us with our orders.
Olives had some fun live entertainment complete with live pasta and risotto counter along with a salad and bread station with a complete Mediterranean buffet.
The weather is perfect to enjoy the brunch one’s own pace. It is a wonderful concept to be able to savor from all four restaurants, while enjoying the amazing view overlooking the canal.
I would definitely recommend you all to try it out. They have entertainment activities for kids as well.

One of the best places to enjoy the music and some great dishes . A great adds on honestly is the shisha , thus your can barely find in Abudhabi a lounge/bar that serves shisha . So that what people love about it . The staff are really nice food quality is good
Love this place. Nice atmosphere yummy cocktails and great food , sushi and shisha. The only one bad thing is the dj they should close at 2:00 a.m but he turns the music low from 12:15 which gives you the feeling that they are closing.
Friendly staff, great food and service. I like that the menu is diverse enough to accommodate picky eaters (as was the case with the group I went with!) and the atmosphere is also great.Would recommend the tiger prawns, the black truffle rissoto, and the dim sum!
Sushi social is truly a fun and worthwhile event. I love the drinks selection and the food is tasty with a good varied buffet. I would suggest a little more variety still, one or two hot dishes other than the carved meat. The cream caramel is not up to par with the rest f the food which is very tasty.
The ambience is elegant and high end, service is absolutely spot on. We'll keep coming back for more for sure. Very enjoyable

The sushi buffet on sundays is a very good value for money when using Entertainer (including alcoholic house beverages). The service (especially Uzman) is very attentive and welcoming and we really liked the outdoor seating. Hope to come back very soon.
Sushi Social on Sundays is good value for money when using Entertainer - the outdoor terrace is pleasant and price includes free flowing house beverages (that includes also soft drinks). The sushi selection was ok. I’m a fan of simpler sushi and so the overuse of mayo and deep frying isn’t particularly to my liking. The sashimi however was fantastic. The quality of the salmon was particularly great. Dessert selection was decent.
This place has it all , Great food , great service , and most importantly amazing ambiance and today weather was just perfect . I came here to have their sushi and I can say I was really impressed and the best thing about their maki rolls you can either choose 4 or 8 rolls I chose 4 so I can order more .

Pretty chilled out place to be with your special ones. The beach atmosphere is really great. Interiors are amazing as well. The Mexican beer and the food was fabulous.

Weeks after my Attic Super Club experience at Barfly, I’m still dreaming about that DIVINE SALMON PIZZA 😍 From perfectly rolled sushi to chilled wine, they had a wide selection where each one served to us was a delightful surprise to our taste buds. Skewer after skewer, all I could say was YUM... about 50 times 🤷🏻♀️ The place was amazing, whether you’re up for staying indoors or al fresco. They managed to make every corner alive. 💃🏻 All of this was topped with the best service in town. Perhaps also book your table with Michael next time? Somehow he always knew what we needed even before asking. ☺️

We have dined here several times, mostly for the Sushi Sunday specials where you get unlimited sushi and house beverages for 200dhs per person. I was with DOT On Her Way.
Last night, we had the opportunity to check out their Christmas Eve sushi Sunday special and it was quite impressive. In addition to the fresh sushi and sashimi selection, they also served some traditional Christmas turkey and striploin. They had a salad bar and a massive dessert table.
Needless to say, it all looked fancy and well presented. The sashimi selection was more than just salmon, which is great considering I'm a big raw fish guy. They has tuna, mackerel, and sea bream. All were fresh and the quality was superb.
The striploin was a bit tough but maybe it is because I had one of pieces at the ends which was cooked a bit too much for my preference. I usually like my steaks rare. It comes with grilled vegetables, gravy, and pudding as sides.
I didn't get to try the turkey as I couldn't est it all but the desserts were well decorated. Anything from baked cheesecakes, baked pudding, Christmas pudding (with brandy?), to ice cream, macarons, and several kinds of cakes. They had it all. It was great for photos - especially when you see everyone snapping shots of it before I went in and ruined their photo because I couldn't wait anymore.
Service was great. They were attentive to refilling drinks and came by to check if everything was fine. They do the small things that make me impressed, folding your napkin when you go and get food, wiping the table if you spilled anything, things you think are standard but when the staff actually do it, I appreciate it a lot more.
Amazing atmosphere, good location, beautiful views, good service and friendly staff, especially the hostess, Kanita, who tries her best to make the guest feel welcome!
I've visited Barfly a few times, and it's definitely one of the most relaxing spots in Abu Dhabi!

Visited Barfly for the second time last night. We sat outside, beautiful ambiance!
For appetizers we ordered the vegetables spring rolls and shrimp tempura. Both were excellent!
As for the main, we basically got everything that falls under their “Wok” section. The noodles was perfect. Sweet and sour prawns were also everyone’s pleaser - loved how they garnish it with pomegranate, not a usual thing in the Asian cuisine, but it definitely gave it a nice kick. Vegetable rice was good. We also got the beef (I forgot the exact name), it was really good, it kinda had an Indian flavour to it. The fourth main was the Thai spicy chicken with basil, this dish is the reason why they lost a point, it didn’t taste good AT ALL, the chicken was soggy and cold.
Overall, service was good and it was a good experience.
Visited this place first time. The setting is fantastic in Venetian village. Winter months offer a great outdoor experience. The restaurant offers Asian cuisine and Sushi. Ordered a couple of dishes and all were very nice. The staff looked well trained and had full knowledge of the menu. Will visit again soon.

Had a great experience being there, the service was great as the food I ordered also. Tried the steamed edamame, spicy miso soup, blow torched tempura, and the crispy shrimps tempura which was special and not something usual to have. For the dessert we had chocolate fondant.

A self proclaimed restaurant and 'supper club', Barfly by Buddha Bar is quite the eclectic venue that has a bit of everything: a bar, lounge and restaurant. The setting changes during the different times of day. During the afternoon the venue is a lounge offering shisha, early evening calls for pre-dinner drinks followed by a fine dining culinary experience.
The Food
Spicy Edamame: Steamed young soy beans doused in a sweet red chili sauce. A nice, simple way to start off the meal.
Chinese Chicken Salad: Five spices marinated chicken, Chinese cabbage, Chinese flavour sauce. The chicken was well cooked and the dressing was delicious and well balanced.
Cream of Mushroom Soup: A thick creamy soup with fried soft egg, sauteed Shimenji, button and shiitake mushrooms. Nice balance of flavours and a variety of mushrooms that provided the right amount of flavour without being too over the top. A delicious but pricey dish.
'Blow Torched' Sushi Roll: A tempura seafood roll. One of their most popular dishes, this maki roll with a seafood centre is dipped in tempura batter and flash fried, giving it an element of crunch. A fantastic dish with Barfly's own little innovative touch.
Crispy Shrimp Tempura: Wrapped with kataifi, topped with sliced red chili with spicy aioli sauce on the side. This was quite an interesting dish with a great play on textures. The aioli was the perfect mix of spice and creaminess as a dipping sauce.
Thai Chili Chicken: Boneless chicken pieces with cashew nuts, thai basil and onion served with a side of white rice. This Chinese stir fry dish is a good option for a simpler dish that’s still flavourful yet familiar.
Grilled Salmon: 180gms salmon fillet with a lemongrass sweet chili sauce and a side of green mango, grapefruit, tofu and cashew nuts. A well cooked flakey fillet with a fresh salad on the side. Great mix of flavours in this dish.
Tropical Miso Black Cod: 200gms black cod fillet with steamed buttered broccolini and a side of passionfruit miso, kaori sauce. A splendidly well cooked fillet of black cod marinated in a miso glaze that immediately enhances the flavour of the dish adding a touch of sweetness to the flakey piece of fish. The passionfruit miso sauce is the perfect Japanese inspired accompaniment and the broccolini added a touch of colour to the plate as well as a vegetable component to the dish.
The Drinks*
Strawberry spritzer: A refreshing, bubbly drink with just the right amount of sweetness.
Passionfruit Mocktail: We love passionfruit so this was our favourite. Delicious mix of passionfruit topped with the fruit itself.
Cinnamon Mocktail: Quite theatrical in it’s presentation as it arrived to our table in a smoked filled glass cloche and was revealed just before being placed on the table. The drink had a nice earthy and smoky flavour, we recommend this for both the unique taste and presentation.
Skull Drink: Another theatrically presented drink which is served in a skull shaped bottle. The bottle comes filled with smoke held inside with a stopper. The drink had a smoky flavour that kept us intrigued, even if the drink is quite strong. Worth a try.

The Dessert
Chocolate Fondant: Topped with a caramel croquette with a pear sphere and vanilla ice cream on the side. The chocolate fondant was delicious and oozed out when we cut it open, exactly how it should be. The pear cut through the sweetness a bit and provided a grainy texture.
Mochi Ice Cream: Flavours include green tea, mango, coconut, yuzu, strawberry cheesecake. We chose green tea, coconut and mango. Our favourite was the coconut from the three.
The Venue
Barfly is a fine-dining restaurant by day and almost like a nightclub by night. Like a super hero with a secret identity, thats not so secret. We found this a bit confusing, but it does add to a bit of the charm. This is because you can have a nice meal sitting down, even if it may be noisy, while your friends party. So for a mix bag of people this can be a bonus. The way Barfly is decorated exudes fine dining. Bright red walls, large artsy chandeliers and large contemporary artworks adorning the walls. There is also some outdoor seating overlooking the water.
We should mention that the mood of Barfly varies based on time of day and day of the week. So we suggest looking up what is happening on the day you want to visit Barfly.
Our verdict: Impressive dishes, even if they are expensive, mixed with fun at-table service and theatrical drinks! A fine-dining adventure overall. Our Rating: 8.4

My experience at Barfly by buddha bar was simply amazing.No words to describe the experience at this beautiful place.The Atmosphere is very relaxing.Loved their outdoor seating with the sea view.Its a beautiful place to relax i must say.Staff are very professional and friendly.They give accurate attention to details.
We loved the hospitality.We spent almost 4.5 hours there and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every second.
Since we are non alcocholics they served us 4 different varieties of mocktails.All the mocktails were outstanding.However my most favorite was the passionfruit mocktail.
Moving on to food,
They served as the Spicy Edamame as pre appetizer.It is a very healthy pre appetizer and was seasoned perfectly.
Chinese Chicken Salad -It is prepared by marinating the chicken in chinese 5 spices along with chinese cabbage & sauce.
Deep Fried spicy calamari - Calamari served with garlic sweet chilli sauce was crispy and very inviting.
crispy shrimps tempura - prepared with kunafa,red chilli and spicy aioli sauce was the star in the table.
They also served as sushi rolls.Since i dont eat raw food,they served as the vegetable roll and the cooked sushi rolls.Which was highly enjoyable.
We loved all the appetizers. it was just perfect!!
For the mains had the following dishes,
Tropical miso black cod
fish was cooked beautifully.It was soo soft and was actually melting in my mouth
Grilled Australian grade 7 wagyu rib eye.It comes with 3 type of sauces.
It was rich,tender,juicy and full flavored.
Thai chili chicken with vegetable fried rice (from the wok) was really authentic and flavorful.
For the desserts,we had
Three flavors of ice cream Ice -Mango,Coconut & yuzu which was served in an innovative way on ice cube tray as frozen balls.It was light and bursting with flavors.

It was undoubtedly delicious.A must try for all the chocoholics.

What a magnificent experience i have found at this place . From lamia the welcoming at the entrance to toto and sania our waitresses. Then the manager Tetiana came and checked on us. The food here is flawless and full of flavor. In addition to the amazing and creative cocktails they have. The vibes the music and the ambience are amazing. Will definitely come here again. Thanks all for your great efforts. Do not miss the desserts and their amazing shisha. Good news that in ramadan they have an air conditioned shisha outdoors. Make sure you ro not miss it.
We only had drinks there and it was ok, great ambience. Will try next time their food. Music wasca bit too loud even when you were sitting outside. Attentive service.
During our last stay at Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi we really felt in love with the Barfly by Buddha Bar , because of it's delicious food (the best sushi in town), good vibe and very friendly and professional service. Our special thanks to Sanja for her outstanding service. Will come back.
This venue has to be the best outdoor venue in Abu Dhabi. Ultra chic and stunning.

Visited BarFly with my hubby last week. What an awesome experience. The staff could not have been more professional and accommodating, despite place was really full.
Food & drinks are of the very highest standard. I can recommend to try Black code and Rib Eye. Superb tasty. In addition we had nice outdoor table overlooking water. This is a special place. Thank you BarFly Team, you made our evening! We are defiantly coming back soon.
The Grilled Australian wagyu rib eye, one of the best steaks. Perfectly cooked, seasoned very nicely, and its comes with three different dipping sauces which brings out the taste of the good meat, incredibly delicious. And the Chinese crispy chicken salad has many flavors going on its so good. For sushi lovers, i tried the torch blown roll and its very nice.
This Barfly is sure the perfect place 2B! Amazin view, fantastic food, interesting drinks, great shisha & nice music. A very chilling place during the week & very fun on wed/thurs with their live entertainment & laser dancers. Been also to their fridazed brunch a few choices but very tastyyy! Recommended their noodles, mushroom rissotto, kunafa tempura, spring roll, steaks & how can we forget their sushi!! Simplyyy luvvv ittt !

Barfly is located at Venetian Village, Ritz Carlton Grand Canal. Would like to shout out that location is simply amazing.
The Brunch concept is mix between Buffet style and A la carte. Which all of us had found very convenient & reasonable. For the main course no need to go and look for the options you can peacefully sit and be served on the table.
The verity is pretty big and include different stations: salads, sushi, seafood (my favorite oysters), BBQ, desserts. So everyone can find something as per his food preference.
For the drinks, you can have an options between alcoholic & nonalcoholic packages. All of us went with alcoholic package and didn’t regret. As quality of drinks were a level above.
Atmosphere in general is very welcoming and relaxing.
Special bonus to the staff, who just ready to assist you with any request.

We just came back from a lovely Christmas Affair at Barfly. We enjoyed bottomless drinks and unlimited sushi buffet with turkey and roast beef. Today was a sushi Sunday like no other. The team at Barfly welcomed my husband and I tonight and we were so impressed with the spread.
For Christmas Eve they had roast beef, a whole turkey and a few other international dishes like duck curry I have not seen before.
Their appetizers had a refreshed menu with shrimp ceviche, salmon pate and tuna asparagus which were all so delicious!
Their sushi spread was delightful and I was so happy with the four types of sashimi and several different rolls.
The desserts table was so extravagant today decked out in festive treats and gingerbread houses. I especially enjoyed their Christmas pudding, and oh my Macarons! I hope they keep bringing macarons to the table!
The service today was wonderful. Although it was a quiet night indoors, my wine glass was never empty! Kudos to the team.
Will definitely be back again with some friends to enjoy sushi Sunday again. It is usually only 165++ pp and also on Entertainer so it’s quite a deal! Go With Jon
It's pretty amazing when Abu Dhabi feels like the Mediterranean. And incredibly rare. Last week I went to a place that many people already know very well, especially if you are chic and cool and don't necessarily tote a baby around (ahem). Barfly is a trendy bar and restaurant that caters to Abu Dhabi's stylish nightlife. If you go for dinner, before the music starts at around 9 or 10pm, there is a relaxed atmosphere with lots of people eating outside on the waterfront in the now cool(er) night air. You sit outside as people stroll in and out and watch the speedboats bump across the waves. And you can almost feel that you are in a Mediterranean seafront city.
Expectations can be a funny thing, as we found out during a recent visit to BarFly at Abu Dhabi’s Venetian Village. Our pre-conceived notions regarding this supper club concept, were of an ultra-trendy, pretentious and possibly inaccessible venue for the general populous. Imagining strict dress codes, door policies and guests lists, the truth is that we couldn’t have been more wrong.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. We went there to celebrate an occasion and we like it overall. The sushi was good and the ceviche was even better. Worth a try.
BEST SUSHI IN THE WORLD !!!!!! Well presented food , staff is super friendly, view is absolutely amazing! I always recommend this restaurant to all my friends who are sushi lovers!
Outdoor seating is nice. Their appetizers were reallly good. First of all the buratta cheese salad was beautiful! Fried calamari rings, spring rolls, spicy edamame were great. The grilled salmon was very nicely presented and the steak pieces were soft and tender and buttery mashed potatoes were just right.
Another time I went and had tapas - they were alright (we ate them all anyway) 😉 Inside decor is beautiful and very crafty but needs a little more hustle and bustle

Located in a really beautiful setting, with an amazing view, this place is a must visit. However, the place has a dress code where certain attires aren't allowed and entry would be denied. So its better to check up on the rules before visiting the place.
Suchi Social Night was the theme, and there was a very limited variety of Sushi available. We were given Virgin Mojito as drinks. Alcoholic drinks are also available, included in the buffet. The starters were really good, small portions of Salad and Grilled Chicken and Beef on skewers which was really delicious.
There was one particular Sushi made of three different types of Fish, deep fried and served with Mayo, and this was the best of all.
Not a lot of varieties and one has to fill their stomach gorging on the same types of Sushi or Sashimi. The desserts also have a very limited variety and are okay. The price is on the higher side, the ambience and the views slightly make up for the lack of variety in food.
Would love to visit this place again.
