Good portion of food super spicy. Lobster and crab are the best way to try. If u want to try different. Try salmon fry are best.

Fresh seafoods and yummy sauce. i remember our first time eating in OTH when my wife take home our excess food and dont want to throw away the sauce because she want to buy new seafoods and reuse the sauce. After that we keep on coming back.
Off the hook , a mix of sea food and a special sauce would attract your taste to come and try this , and coco sauce was the best one i have tried , must visit place .

I personally tried the lemon and chilly sauce but it wasn’t as good as their OTH special sauce.
Their special sauce is highly recommended and add to it some moderate spiciness.
This is already my second visit.
Clean and neat place.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
P.S: food preparation time is around 20 mins or a bit longer.

Before the variety of sauces they have for seafood was good now though it has less taste and too much of the butter or margarine and less with spices but if your craving for seafood eat here.
Fantastic place, best red iced tea, and awesome food selection with perfect seasoning. The ambiance is also really well done. I am always recommending it to friends.

The seafood combo at 69AED is so worth it! Just have an add on of crab balls and youre good to go! This is what we always order when we go to their branch. 3 rounds of rice plus their red iced tea.. hunger problem solved!
I was impressed by the quality of food, I ordered the 1Kg meal, and the half Kg lobster, the taste and portions were astonishing.. The waiter was super helpful, and helped suggesting the sauces which were really nice, and tasty.. The only thing was annoying is the number of staff, only one waiter running all over the place (which was full btw), and one cashier lady who never moved from the counter! People were complaining of the slow service, but I got my order fast to be honest.. I believe they need more staff.. Over all it was an exceptional experience..

My fav- Shrimps with the OTH Special Sauce was lipsmacking.
The service as usual...with a smile and helpful with the menu.
This particular joint was much smaller than the other one. Slightly cramped as I inadvertently elbowed the guest behind me :-( .

But its worth the wait coz food is so great and not that expensive.. we’ll definitely go back..

Since we entered we could feel the hospitality and the simplicity of the place, it was my first time so I asked for the staff advise which was in place, we ordered the trio combo from the sets menu 🐚🦀🦐, it was super tasty🤤🤤, BUT 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️my only point about the service is that we were not provided 🦀🦀🦀🦀crab grip pliers despite their availability 🤷♀️🤷♀️ . PLEASE NOTE 🤯🤯🤯: ALL OFFERS, PROMOTIONS 🧾🧾💳💳 ARE NOT APPLICABLE FOR COMBO ORDERS 💸💸💸💸, ZOMATO GOLD, ENTERTAINER, ADCB , EMIRATES NBD ARE APPLICABLE ONLY On "from the pot" which are ordering by 1/2 kilo or 1 kilo. I used ADCB and there wasn't any discount. DEFINITELY I will not remind the staff. 😅😅😅 and for sure I'll go back again.
Food quality and taste is no compare. Staff are always friendly and very helful. Food quantity is fair to the price. Affordable and so yummy. I have been there already several times and whenever i want to eat something for the great mood i will go there

This restaurant is an excellent addition to the seafood scene in Abu Dhabi.
The restaurant is large and spacious with pleasant interiors and bench like seating.
There are no plates on which the food is served, rather the table is covered with baking paper and the food is served on the table and everyone tucks in for a community type meal.
They serve a variety of seafood including Salmon, King-fish, Sea-bass, Grouper, Lobster, Crabs, Mussels and shrimps all accompanied with beautifully cooked sticky rice.
They also have a variety of sauces you can choose from, my favorite being the OTH special. You can also select a spice level for your food.
They also have a few combo options where food for 3 - 4 or 8 - 10 people can be ordered and it is served 'Boodle' style on your table. Their red ice tea is delicious and pairs well with the seafood.
Service is a bit on the slow side, but it is worth the wait.
My only complaint would be that the shrimp is not de-veined, which is my personal preference.

Spoiler alert! Off The Hook is not a place for the faint of heart. Only those who wear their passion for seafood on their sleeves, or aprons, if you please, will relish the food here.
First, they give you disposable aprons and gloves. If you are alone, you'll be wondering whether the 'catch of the day' is to be caught AND killed by you or what!!
Second, their unique presentation style. Beware, especially the 'ouch' kinda ladies. Only venture herein if you satisfy the criterion. All dishes are served inside plastic bags...the kind that your laundered shirts come in - though good 'food-grade' quality no doubt!
Third, their taste is AMAZING!! Yes, I just loved the taste. In UAE, I have had soooo many varieties of seafood I doubt any other country can offer. Squid, fish (many types), prawns...all come in some special gravy. The finger locking kind. But I couldn't actually lick my glove-encased fingers :)
Off The Hook has opened another branch in Tourist club area, but have heard from a friend that the taste here does not match up to the original one in Al Karamah.

I love this place! The first time we tried, we had gone for the solo set and I chose the mix of shrimps and crabs. For the sauce we went for the OTH special sauce and Hot for the heat level. The food was absolutely delicious! I love the semi sweet, spicy, garlicy sauce all over the rice. Great deal too! Nowadays, we throw in some corns and always order an extra side of crab balls! Yumm!
I went to Off The Hook for lunch. We ordered the Trio with OTH sauce. Everything was perfect, the seafood, and the sauce was very tasty. The seafood looks fresh and well cooked! Specially the Crab Balls are so YUMMY!

Firstly we tell the waiter that we will use zomato Gold, then they showed us that only the regular orders are cover with zomato. The atmosphere is conducive for dining, rnb music and accomodating servers.
Last week we peregrinated to this restaurant, and we ordered crabs and mussels. both are well prepared and the taste was astonishing. but the staffs are not responsive. if you request something, they don't even aurally perceive that.
I honestly love OTH but I recommend that you make a reservation because it is ALWAYS full! Last time I went, I had a reservation and a group that was a walk-in took the table when the space opened up and we had to wait for another table (not sure if the staff noticed because it's so full in there). Food is always great but sometimes it takes long and I notice other tables always get their food first even though they sit and order after my table. Recommend the OTH sauce as well! If you are with someone else, I also recommend getting the solo over the trio because you get more food and they're practically the same price (if it's just 2 people order 2 solos not a trio).

Can't believe we ordered fresh seafood and was delivered to our door! Much better than boring greasy pizzas in my opinion. Ordered the shrimps and mussels and there was plenty in the bag. Only criticism is that they should include salad because it was only rice which was the side and also we received one can of pepsi instead of two for a meal for 2.
It has a unique dining concept which everyone, I suppose, will like. My go-to place with friends when we are craving for seafood. We've always had the Butter Garlic sauce and didn't dare try anything else as we've been very satisfied by it already since Day 1! You can also request for the spice level when ordering for a seafood bag.
Ladies, bring hair ties when eating here, you do not want a strand keep you from enjoying your meal. Arrive early during peak dining times as the queue for a table can be long.
Treated myself after the salary day here! My workmate is really craving for this since the sauces here is so good. Since it was a weekdays, we got to avail the promotion of the 25aed. Rice, Drinks and Seafoods. :) It was worth it for the price! The sauce itself was a good combo for the rice! Oh forgot to mention that I also ordered crab balls for my side dish :) It will not be completed if I didn't have to eat it there with the sauce! The only thing I would like to complain is too much oil of the sauce. But all in all it was a very good experience.
