The food was mouthwatering and scrumptious, the service was absolutely delightful, and to top it all off, the ambience was beautiful, the restaurant being set near the Eastern Mangroves, giving it a serene and peaceful setting.

By far this is the best place to have biryani for people of Bengal as they cook quite similar to the Kolkata taste. Must-Try is Nalli Rogan Josh

The place is good and the food is amazing , the thali mentu is superb.....and best dish I would say is dal makhini is a must taste

Peppermill I’ll always used to be the best food. I ordered butter chicken the other night and it was basically tiny chicken lumps in tomato soup! Yep, you heard me right, soup. It was totally Inedible. Sadly I’d only realised once I’d POURED it over the rice. Total waste of money. While dinner went in the bin! Such a shame to see a once good restaurant like this go down hill.

Cant ever get enough of their Rasmalai and Shahi Tukda.....<br/><br/>This aint your regular dessert..... the chef does a new take on the traditional menu and comes up with variants every now and then . the desserts are a mix of east-meets west. Ice-cream and cakes are introduced instead of the traditional ingredients, yet the flavors maintained. go for the dessert....else you'll never know

The biryani was tasteless. It no where tasted like an biryani.

The delivery person was very courteous and well mannered. Always with a smile. Well done. <br/>But it was bad delivery management. It took too long. Food was cold. Nan was stiff and the biriyani was dry.

As you enter the restaurant you will get a Mughali feel of the place. The interiors are well done and they have a beautiful outdoor seating, perfect during winters. All the items we order were delicious.. it did have a Mughlai touch. A clam and peaceful place with mouthwatering food.

Over the months the quality is no longer the same. The staff and ambiance is fantastic but the quality of meat. The quality of the gravy etc surely has all changed. Seems a lot of frozen content is used now , rather than fresh ( like it used to be earlier)

The place is good and calm. I don't like the lamb legs, quality is not good. However, the chicken biryani is really good but the amount of chicken in it is very less.

In Particular Sunil was so genuine and warm host! Good was so flavourful and high quality. Great place ! Highly recommended for lovers of spices😊

Have been to Peppermill previously few times and brought friends and family from Dubai to have food yesterday as usually it has been a good place to have Indian food<br/><br/>SERVICE- one word-Abyssmal! <br/>No one to greet at the door -waited 5 minutes for someone to show us to a table-lady at the front desk busy at the phone! no smiles again- what was really disappointing was that there was no crowd either which could have explained the tardy service (Probably because of their poor experience I speculate)<br/>One of our friends had to go 2 times to fetch a waiter to take our order and we waited 20 minutes for our tandoori roti "refill" which meant the rest of the food went colder<br/>Ordered water and after the significant wait, a bottle was "plonked" on the table without an offer of serving-very strange and off handish behaviour <br/>When we finished our mains the waited didn't even offer a desserts menu and rankly after having received such "stellar" service we didn't bother asking either- we took our custom to the local Creamstone instead-where, by the way, in spite of it being really busy the service was excellent <br/><br/>FOOD- below average-ordered Nalli Lamb dish- no flavour in the broth and the broth itself was lukewarm and presented again without a smile the lamb was soft<br/><br/>VERDICT- The management/cook has probably changed- this had happened at their wahda mall branch a couple of years ago and we started avoiding that place<br/>Guess what.....another one on my to avoid list now!

I would put a negative rating if possible cos for the amazing food they serve the service ensures to ruin it all. When we came in, the manager Nitin refused to give us outside seating- with this amazing climate how can anyone refuse it!!! However craving for the food we agreed to sit somewhere with a view.. which again he refused to accommodate. But we are still craving for the food.. however soon we saw that another family was given outside seating.. which again Nitin refused to accommodate. But we went anyways out anyways. Our drinks came only after reminding 4 times and the naan we ordered came after the main course.<br/>Good view, good food- terrible service.<br/>No photos, because we did not get good seats and good service.<br/>Food was however perfect in taste.

Dear Peppermill supervisor, waiter.. a little bit of smile and welcoming wont hurt you! I’m currently sitting with my sister here and you guys have a bad service. I ordered Cola like 5 times.. had to remind you every 10 mnts. You’re not allowing us to sit outside even though you opened it. And you hâve attitude giving us these looks and face expressions. Horrible service regardless of the delicious food. Will never come back here again nor recommend it to anyone.

We had a farewell brunch there and the staff were courteous. Food was great and area was clean. Ambiance was awesome. perfect for quiet brunches with privacy.

Nice location and perfect food! AC not working. Outside weather still not good .Veg biryani too much green beans .. little bit paneer cubes can make this more tasty. Rasmalai cake is fantastic.

Our second visit to The Peppermil at the Eastern Mangroves...this time for Breakfast. Wow !! Great Thali enough for two. An awesome Dosa presented as a Waffle. The other items on the Thali were exquisite.<br/>Deepak our waitron was helpful pleasant and explained the menu and Thali with great enthusiasm and friendliness. His recommendation was spot on !! Presentation of the food on the Thali was brilliantly done !!<br/><br/>Was able to chat to Chef Rajesh as well..a "master" !!

Was craving for some Indian breakfast There are very few Indian restaurants that deliver Indian food to al muneera. Peppermill is one of them <br/><br/>The delivery was quick and packing was better than most restaurants. So test one pass<br/>for food I ordered was waffle dosa and prathas breakfast <br/>the food came will all standard add-ons like the pickle, curd, green chutney, and papad.<br/><br/>the dosa had a different touch of waffle and tasted nice. the best thing was that the food seemed freshly prepared.<br/>the prathas were soft and tasty too <br/><br/>In all a place I will try again for sure

The food wasn't bad I had tried it before for several times in alwahda mall & actually I had a better experience with the food, the hosting & the staff was much more friendly<br/>Today the waiter who hosted us to our table insisted that we should sit on this table & the other table with the view couldn't be separated & that it is kept for larger groups though we were 4 suddenly a couple came & he simply separated the table for them !!!

Good food and service. Taste is authentic and flavors are fresh. Deepak was excellent in service and choices. Ambience was nice bit hot outside, recommend outdoor seating in winter by the eastern mangroves.

The Naan was little thick.<br/><br/>Overall tasty food, give it a try of you are staying on Yas island.

Ordered chicken biriyani along with chicken tikka curry (got it free from the zomato bongo buy 1 get 1 offer). Loved the biriyani. Right amount of spices, well cooked chicken and rice. Enough for 2. The chicken tikka was a dissapoinment, it was sweet and had a wierd taste to it.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been in Abu Dhabi.. staff is friendly, the interiors are amazing .. we sat in private seating area which was nice, food tasted nice.. and the one thing which got my heart was their signature dessert .. loved it ..totally recommend to everyone 👍🏻

I am such a big fan of Peppermill's Nalli Rogan gosh but I am so disappointed today at this outlet that I am lost all of my love for Peppermill... Food was either too salty or No salt at all... The "Gymkhana" platter was the worst of the lot...

Visited the Eastern mangroves outlet last week and tried their Iftar set menu.<br/>Great ambience and polite+helpful staff. They were really accommodating and helped us with our request to be seated outdoor.<br/>The set menu had some really nice dishes, with tomato soup, chicken & plum salad, cut fruits/dates, starters (chicken and prawns), Chicken biriyani, butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, Nans, ras malai cake and gulab jamun.<br/>The chicken starters were wonderful and so was the biriyani+desserts. The lamb was a little too sweet for our liking.<br/>But overall, a good experience.

We went for Iftar buffet. Must say it was pocket friendly. The taste of the food was ok , Mr Rohit was amazing and ensured that we don't miss anything from the menu.<br/>Panner was sweet , dal makhani was average and starters were good. Chat is nice.<br/><br/>Overall worth a try if u don't want to spend much.

Amazing iftar set menu experience. Starting from their signature soup to mouth watering Rasmalai cake. Superb staff service too. Great guys. Keep it up.

The presentation and how the food looks is very nice. However, we tried over 8 dishes and each one is over-spicy even for mild versions of the dish with tonnes of salt. When compared to other reputable establishments in Abu Dhabi peppermill is of much lower quality. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Yesterday I have ordered food from restaurant via Zomato, Order ID 1570577450. The food was good, but not satisfied with the portion size of vegetables as compared to other restaurants of same standard. Hope for better..

Excellent food and service with value for money in terms of the quality. Will go back. Decor and ambience was superb. The paneer tikka and soybean kebab were my favourite. Haven’t found another Indian place offering Soya items so far in Abu Dhabi.

We were here on Friday afternoon and this restaurant has a great outside sitting when the weather is good<br/>We had Mr Deepak as our host and made us really comfortable with seating and awesome food<br/><br/>Must try is the Tomato Shorba soup and soup comes in kettle .. good to share 😊

Really not as impressed as I expected to be. I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times and had no complaints but really disappointed with their delivery this evening. Food was delivered quickly but wasn’t very hot. The garlic bread didn’t have much flavor but the butter chicken was nice. I also ordered a children’s meal which was 38aed. To only get 2 small pieces of chicken with a ton of rice is really not acceptable. I may aswell have ordered another butter chicken as it wasn’t much more expensive but at least that had a good amount of chicken. Not sure I’ll order from here again even when it’s offering 25% discount. Not a happy customer...

Id been there recently for dinner with family and must say they have some really interesting dishes to try out.<br/>We ordered fattoush ala indie, kataifi prawns, soyabean kabab, karare palak chat, gymkhana selection, mutton biryani, makai methi palak, butter naan and onion kulcha.<br/><br/>Of the above, the unique but equally delicious dishes were kataifi prawns, karare palak chat, fattoush ala indie and soya bean kebab.<br/><br/>Their mutton biryani ws spicy and yummy as we had requested. Gymkhana selection ws a good large platter of non veg items and paneer.<br/><br/>Overall<br/>Food: unique and delicious (must try their unique dishes as mentioned above)<br/>Ambience: good<br/>Location: beautiful<br/>Parking: thats gona be an issue, they dont have vallet parking so you will have to look around for a while<br/>Price: expensive but at par with other high end dining options<br/>Staff: courteous and helpful<br/>

The food quality was very very bad. The taste of 4 main courses we ordered starting from chicken to mutton the base/gravy taste was all same. They need to change the chef at the earliest. Too many spice flavour only without any taste to differentiate anything.<br/>Only thing which can be appreciated was the way staff handled and took feedback.<br/>However this place is out of my come back list. Sad !!<br/>

This is the third time in a month to visit Peppermill, I specially love their butter chicken and paneer tikka along with the biryani. Today we went for 3 watermelon juice and lemon and mint, the juices were fresh and refreshing. For the starter we went for the chaat platter and I must say I regret not ordering it before. For the mains we ordered Paneer Tikka, Butter Chicken, Bhindi Do Pyaaza and Assorted Breads. As usual, the butter chicken and the paneer tasted great! However the bhindi do pyaaza was absolutely horrible! I cant believe it was dhs 35+ for a dish like that. It was watery and very limpy looking ( don’t know if it was frozen bhindi or just old ones). Felt flat on taste too. None of us finished our portions. The breads were ok, but they delivered the naans late to our table and it was a bit too chewy. However the food and overall experience was good even though the service ( for juice and breads) were little slow. <br/>Must try- Chaat platter and butter chicken!

The location is lovely with a view of the mangroves and is one of the outdoor restaurants that's actually affordable. <br/><br/>We had ordered Biriyanis, Mutton Rogan Josh, and Butter chicken the first time we were there. We ordered the Rogan Josh twice on that day and the gravy was delicious though inconsistent. The rest of it was pretty decent. Nothing mind-blowing. <br/><br/>The second time we were there, we had ordered vegetarian and ive got to say that we loved the tawa paneer and Dal. The paneer was perfectly tangy and spicy, and the Dal - a creamy affair. <br/><br/>I don't have a preference for their food, but it sure is a lovely place to hang out when the climate's better. There are definitely much better places with better food options and much better service when you take the price quotient into consideration. <br/>

its the best indian restaurant food taste, their chicken carry, butter chicken and adas dal and their parata tastes good. plus their potato masala and alo tikki tastes great. if u would like to invite someone to dinner , i advise u to take them to peppemill

The food really is delicious but to top off the experience, the staff are amazing.<br/><br/>We would like to thank our waiter Saroj for being a star. We had our baby with us and needed to cool down his milk. Without hesitation, Saroj got us a bowl of ice water.

Peppermill served great food as always, we had some delicious curries. Deepak took great care of us which made the dinner even better! We will definitely be coming back for the great food and service. <br/>

Rice was ok but achar was very tiny amount and butter chicken had a very strong flavor of coconut oil, hope it was less. I could not eat it. Even chicken pieces were only 4 small ones. Delivery time was good.

Great location ... we were seated outside and throughly enjoyed this... Menu seems out of choice very basic and unsatisfying no real choice in Fish other than prawns just one item ! ... we had to order all chicken because of this ...<br/>Taste wise the gravy was good for both chettinad and awadi murg ... but for all the chicken left a not so good taste on the palette after we finish each piece <br/>Breads were well done but why would you not make them handy specifically the rumali roti which was served in whole piece piping hot one person cannot handle that big piece you should know !<br/>Over all we were just ok ... expected more we specifically chose this location to the city one for special occasion.

Love this place for their ambience (especially outdoor) and food. In spite of being vegetarians, we love their vegetable Biriyani and Soya Bean chaap is delicious!<br/>The icing on the cake is their Tablez Rewards app, through which you can also avail discount on the bill! :)

Last order of mine was a total shock! Ordered my usual butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, however they have changed the chicken tikka masala recipe (added capsicum to it) and haven’t notified in Zomato, total disappointment, had to reorder through phone to get the usual chicken tikka masala. As well portion of rice has changed for the smaller, hope they change back to their refusal tikka masala

Arguably one of the best dining ambience for Indian Cuisine, particularly in the cooler days. The food was great and is definitely made special by the knowledgeable and friendly service staff. Our experience was enhanced by the smartly articulate Mr Dipak, who made selecting the items a breeze by measured yet smart guidance. The Tandoori Chicken, Rumali Roti were just perfect, and was served in style.<br/><br/>The plate was properly sized for Indian food, which is an issue in many places.<br/><br/>Liked the place and would definitely have more goes at this place.

Great ambience and friendly staff. Eastern Mangroves branch has put door seating and we we choose that . Interiors are done in a colonial Indian style . <br/>They present their foos , which has been prepared deliciously , in unique and quite appealing way. What has to be appreciated is their unique set of cookery and other serve-were. <br/>Chicken was grilled to perfection . Not a bit overly cooked . And yeah the kadak tea and Madras kappi were just the same we had while growing up.<br/>Must visit.

Authentic Indian food with amazing service, had great time with family. You can sit inside as well as outside having a lovely view and cool breeze if visiting between nov till feb. The lamb is highly recommended. I downloaded their app called Tablez rewards and got extra 30% off which was great.

This restaurant aces in all things that you expect from a restaurant. Nice decor, good service and most importantly good food. We had basics tomato soup dal makhni and soya chop. All were delicious. <br/>While leaving the staff even reminded us that we can use our entertainer voucher to get discount.<br/>This was great gesture as most restaurants find all ways to not give discount.

Some of the best Indian food you’ll have in the UAE. The Butter Chicken is fantastic - creamy, soft and flavorful just like how’d you probably get in Delhi or Amritsar. The Tawa Paneer is just good spicy, chat is amazing, Shikanji is refreshing and their service is warm and attentive - such helpful people . Can go back to this place all the time for my Indian fix!

We decided to go to peppermill for our friend farewell we ordered starters and main course st 4:20 pm.. Until 5:20 still we didnt get the main course when we asked for our dishes the waiter told us that the staff forgot to punch our order hence the delay.. We said with this delay we need to be compensated and we were hungry.. The supervisor said in a rude way " lets focus on getting your order" the waiter apologized but the supervisor was rude.. And i believe they shouldve worked more into customer satistaftion.. We were extremly frasutrated to see people who came after us get food before us..

I love dining in this restaurant especially the wahda mall branch is our favorite. We had great experiences always , also during ramadan. But the delivery isn’t always as good. Today we ordered chicken tikka masala and a seafood kadai and they both looked the same and tastes almost the same. It tasted also bit too much like tomatoe sauce. Nevertheless it was tasty

A decent enough place if you are excited about showy Indian food - but each time I've ordered from here, the delivery is so late, I usually eat something else before the order gets to me. I understand the appeal of shiny "fancy" Indian ambiance - and in all fairness, the food isn't bad. But in a city FULL of fantastic Indian food (some of which is good enough to warrant the crazy long waits), being mediocre and late just doesn't cut it. Despite the many Zomato stars that keep luring me in, I'm afraid I'm never ordering again from here.

The food is fresh and clean. One of the best Indian restaurants in Abu Dhabi. The staff is helpful and welcoming especially Deepak who gave us good recommendations.

It was the day after Eid, totally laid back and relaxed- we decided to spend the day. Headed on to Peppermill Restaurant مطعم بيبرميل to relish on some north indian beauties after heavy doses of beef biryani 😅<br/><br/> <br/>The toddlers slept 😇(not one but all three at the same time! It’s a miracle, I Know!! )and we just wanted to hog peacefully. Before even looking at the menu, Hisham Abbas said – one mango lassi and one chaas! The server suggested rose saffron lassi and we nodded our heads to it! The chaas was what we exactly needed at that moment. Refreshing and boosting, it went for a repeat! Mango lassi was perfect and was emptied before the saffron and rose beauty! We munched on their complimentary Bombay mix and relished childhood 😋<br/><br/>Soups! Mulligatawawny and Tomato, were our choices for the day. Syed Jawadh Atta’s choice of Tomato soup was a hit while Hisham Abbas’s Mulligatawawny (How do I even pronounce it? ) was just okay-okay! <br/><br/>For Starters we called in for Peppermill kebeb platter,Murgh Malai Tikka and Tandoori Chicken. The Kebab platter was good for three and worth the 75 dhs spent.<br/> <br/>Malai Jhinga was the star of the platter followed by the seekh kebab, which was soft and juicy. The Murgh malai tikka was perfect just as the lassoni murgh, served. The tandoori Chicken was a put down as it lacked flavour and spices. Very ordinary.<br/><br/>For Mains, we turned Veg (Don’t stare, we occasionally do that 😅) Kadai Paneer and Khumb Malai TakaTak were outstandingly delicious. The paneer was soft,melt in mouth kind! Loved the gravies totally and these acted just like a perfect newly wed bride alongside our rotis! The Paneer and potato parathas were my all-time favs, but the chilli cheese naan – My new found Love! 😍<br/><br/>Strolling through the menu effortlessly, a picture striked us! Shahi Tukda – The bestest bestest choice of the day! How I would love to eat them every single day! The famous Hyderabadi dessert were the bread pieces are deep fried in ghee until crispy and then topped with creamy rabri. Most of the times the bread , by the time it reaches the table, becomes soggy and uninviting. This one was top-notch! The pista kulfi icecream sandwiched between the crisp golden breads drizzled with rabdi and supported by the pistachio crumble. Oh Man!! In my ten years in UAE, this is my 2nd time to eat in an Indian Restaurant, 1st time in Peppermill.<br/><br/>Place: it’s winter time so the location is such a perfect spot to dine. Al fresco and the mangroves view are great combo.<br/>Food: i’m not a super duper fan of indian food but I somehow lived with it already (well pretty obvious here in middle east), it was easy to love the food. The peppermill chaat platter is so heavenly good! Thr prawn biryani is bit pricey and spicy but worthy!<br/>Price: i think it just normal price of an indian resto. Just one thought for you guys. Never compare the price of an indian resto with indian fastfood (those on the streets). <br/>Staff: they are very accommodating and since we are non Indian and not familiar with their food, the staff was so patient and suggestive in what is the right pair for such food.<br/><br/>Love it here. We’ll definitely go back!

I didn’t get any pictures but i must say the food was delicious if you’re a true biryani plus Pakistani/indian spicy food fan you must go to Peppermill<br/>Main course: <br/>1- tried the Lamb Chaap: absolutely delicious not a big fan of chaap but definitely loved it at Peppermill and if you’re ordering make sure you tell them to make it spicy tastes yummy <br/><br/>2- tried the Spicy Biryani: must say one of the best biryani in town, it was spicy, tasty and tasty and even tastier must try <br/><br/>Dessert: <br/>Ordered Shahi Tudka it was good <br/> <br/>Great service, great quantity, great environment, great location everything was perfect 👌🏼. <br/>Hoping to visit soon

The restaurant has a wonderful ambience when seated outside. The food was tasty and staff was very friendly and accommodate to our requests. Our waiter Mr Deepak even helped us avail an offer on the bill. His service and interactions were top notch. Aloo tiki was good!

High Class Restaurant for high Class peoples. Great taste to enjoy with each and every dish. I love the lamb chops yummy yummy taste. Must try once in the city.

we went as a group of friends today for dinner and the food was the best Indian I have had I Abu Dhabi!Being an Indian I usually find it hard to find a perfect curry but this was out of this world! Thank you so much for such great food and customer service we will be back again very soon!

I ordered:-<br/>> butter chicken = very bad taste didn’t like it at all. But the manager was kind he said he will replace it but even the second time the taste was bad <br/>> veg pulao = it was ok. Not that great <br/>> chicken chettinad > it was my first time to order this dish it was ok.<br/>Staff was slow and not attentive. Had to keep calling them just to bring the bill it took them 20 minutes. Very slow service.

First Of All the Gosht Biriyani, Had That Saffron Silk Feel To It, With The Classic Indian Spice And Beautiful Mutton Pieces.<br/>The Chettinad Curry, You Will Start Crying To This And I Mean It, But I Am A Spice Freak So This Beautiful Sour, Tangy, Flavour Of Native India Brought Me Back! There Were Also Garlic Naan And Roshmali Roti. And Now For Dessert The SHAHI TUKDA! This Beautiful, Yellow, Chilly, Dessert With Malai Kulfi Ice Cream And Syrup With Break And Dried Nuts Is Definitely A Try!
