The food was mouthwatering and scrumptious, the service was absolutely delightful, and to top it all off, the ambience was beautiful, the restaurant being set near the Eastern Mangroves, giving it a serene and peaceful setting.
By far this is the best place to have biryani for people of Bengal as they cook quite similar to the Kolkata taste. Must-Try is Nalli Rogan Josh

This aint your regular dessert..... the chef does a new take on the traditional menu and comes up with variants every now and then . the desserts are a mix of east-meets west. Ice-cream and cakes are introduced instead of the traditional ingredients, yet the flavors maintained. go for the dessert....else you'll never know

As you enter the restaurant you will get a Mughali feel of the place. The interiors are well done and they have a beautiful outdoor seating, perfect during winters. All the items we order were delicious.. it did have a Mughlai touch. A clam and peaceful place with mouthwatering food.

Our second visit to The Peppermil at the Eastern Mangroves...this time for Breakfast. Wow !! Great Thali enough for two. An awesome Dosa presented as a Waffle. The other items on the Thali were exquisite.
Deepak our waitron was helpful pleasant and explained the menu and Thali with great enthusiasm and friendliness. His recommendation was spot on !! Presentation of the food on the Thali was brilliantly done !!

We tried so many dishes & here is my views on it ;
Tomato Shorba -
It not only tasted yum ,it looked better too .. Best was the prep of it n the taste of that dried toasted garlic that was cherry on cake .(prep was on the table )
Chat Platter -
Loved the designed & prep of the platter ,it made me feel like I am actually having something from India like the taste of that pani puri & samosa aalo wadi n dahi chat was so freshly made with that proper ethnic chat taste in it .
Paneer Kadhai -
So far the best masala I had ,it was freshly tossed paneer with chunks of onion & capsicum diced in it . Yet all the masalas were intact with great spices & the red gravy looked very delicious (MUST TRY )
Dal makhani -
It was as creamy as expected,very good quantity like one was way sufficient in the people of five .

the food came will all standard add-ons like the pickle, curd, green chutney, and papad.
the dosa had a different touch of waffle and tasted nice. the best thing was that the food seemed freshly prepared.

I ordered tawa paneer, daal makhni, rumali roti and butter Naan for dinner during my stay in abu Dhabi.
The tawa paneer was very delicious, daal makhni was fine. The Naan was little thick.
Overall tasty food, give it a try of you are staying on Yas island.
Ordered chicken biriyani along with chicken tikka curry (got it free from the zomato bongo buy 1 get 1 offer). Loved the biriyani. Right amount of spices, well cooked chicken and rice. Enough for 2. The chicken tikka was a dissapoinment, it was sweet and had a wierd taste to it.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been in Abu Dhabi.. staff is friendly, the interiors are amazing .. we sat in private seating area which was nice, food tasted nice.. and the one thing which got my heart was their signature dessert .. loved it ..totally recommend to everyone 👍🏻
Visited the Eastern mangroves outlet last week and tried their Iftar set menu.
Great ambience and polite+helpful staff. They were really accommodating and helped us with our request to be seated outdoor.
The set menu had some really nice dishes, with tomato soup, chicken & plum salad, cut fruits/dates, starters (chicken and prawns), Chicken biriyani, butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, Nans, ras malai cake and gulab jamun.
The chicken starters were wonderful and so was the biriyani+desserts. The lamb was a little too sweet for our liking.
But overall, a good experience.
Amazing iftar set menu experience. Starting from their signature soup to mouth watering Rasmalai cake. Superb staff service too. Great guys. Keep it up.

Excellent food and service with value for money in terms of the quality. Will go back. Decor and ambience was superb. The paneer tikka and soybean kebab were my favourite. Haven’t found another Indian place offering Soya items so far in Abu Dhabi.

Id been there recently for dinner with family and must say they have some really interesting dishes to try out.
We ordered fattoush ala indie, kataifi prawns, soyabean kabab, karare palak chat, gymkhana selection, mutton biryani, makai methi palak, butter naan and onion kulcha.
Of the above, the unique but equally delicious dishes were kataifi prawns, karare palak chat, fattoush ala indie and soya bean kebab.
Their mutton biryani ws spicy and yummy as we had requested. Gymkhana selection ws a good large platter of non veg items and paneer.
Overall
Food: unique and delicious (must try their unique dishes as mentioned above)
Ambience: good
Location: beautiful
Parking: thats gona be an issue, they dont have vallet parking so you will have to look around for a while
Price: expensive but at par with other high end dining options
Staff: courteous and helpful

This is the third time in a month to visit Peppermill, I specially love their butter chicken and paneer tikka along with the biryani. Today we went for 3 watermelon juice and lemon and mint, the juices were fresh and refreshing. For the starter we went for the chaat platter and I must say I regret not ordering it before. For the mains we ordered Paneer Tikka, Butter Chicken, Bhindi Do Pyaaza and Assorted Breads. As usual, the butter chicken and the paneer tasted great! However the bhindi do pyaaza was absolutely horrible! I cant believe it was dhs 35+ for a dish like that. It was watery and very limpy looking ( don’t know if it was frozen bhindi or just old ones). Felt flat on taste too. None of us finished our portions. The breads were ok, but they delivered the naans late to our table and it was a bit too chewy. However the food and overall experience was good even though the service ( for juice and breads) were little slow.
Must try- Chaat platter and butter chicken!
its the best indian restaurant food taste, their chicken carry, butter chicken and adas dal and their parata tastes good. plus their potato masala and alo tikki tastes great. if u would like to invite someone to dinner , i advise u to take them to peppemill
The food really is delicious but to top off the experience, the staff are amazing.
We would like to thank our waiter Saroj for being a star. We had our baby with us and needed to cool down his milk. Without hesitation, Saroj got us a bowl of ice water.
Peppermill served great food as always, we had some delicious curries. Deepak took great care of us which made the dinner even better! We will definitely be coming back for the great food and service.

Love this place for their ambience (especially outdoor) and food. In spite of being vegetarians, we love their vegetable Biriyani and Soya Bean chaap is delicious!

Arguably one of the best dining ambience for Indian Cuisine, particularly in the cooler days. The food was great and is definitely made special by the knowledgeable and friendly service staff. Our experience was enhanced by the smartly articulate Mr Dipak, who made selecting the items a breeze by measured yet smart guidance. The Tandoori Chicken, Rumali Roti were just perfect, and was served in style.
The plate was properly sized for Indian food, which is an issue in many places.

Great ambience and friendly staff. Eastern Mangroves branch has put door seating and we we choose that . Interiors are done in a colonial Indian style .
They present their foos , which has been prepared deliciously , in unique and quite appealing way. What has to be appreciated is their unique set of cookery and other serve-were.
Chicken was grilled to perfection . Not a bit overly cooked . And yeah the kadak tea and Madras kappi were just the same we had while growing up.

Authentic Indian food with amazing service, had great time with family. You can sit inside as well as outside having a lovely view and cool breeze if visiting between nov till feb. The lamb is highly recommended. I downloaded their app called Tablez rewards and got extra 30% off which was great.
This restaurant aces in all things that you expect from a restaurant. Nice decor, good service and most importantly good food. We had basics tomato soup dal makhni and soya chop. All were delicious.

Some of the best Indian food you’ll have in the UAE. The Butter Chicken is fantastic - creamy, soft and flavorful just like how’d you probably get in Delhi or Amritsar. The Tawa Paneer is just good spicy, chat is amazing, Shikanji is refreshing and their service is warm and attentive - such helpful people . Can go back to this place all the time for my Indian fix!

It was the day after Eid, totally laid back and relaxed- we decided to spend the day. Headed on to Peppermill Restaurant مطعم بيبرميل to relish on some north indian beauties after heavy doses of beef biryani 😅
The toddlers slept 😇(not one but all three at the same time! It’s a miracle, I Know!! )and we just wanted to hog peacefully. Before even looking at the menu, Hisham Abbas said – one mango lassi and one chaas! The server suggested rose saffron lassi and we nodded our heads to it! The chaas was what we exactly needed at that moment. Refreshing and boosting, it went for a repeat! Mango lassi was perfect and was emptied before the saffron and rose beauty! We munched on their complimentary Bombay mix and relished childhood 😋
Soups! Mulligatawawny and Tomato, were our choices for the day. Syed Jawadh Atta’s choice of Tomato soup was a hit while Hisham Abbas’s Mulligatawawny (How do I even pronounce it? ) was just okay-okay!
For Starters we called in for Peppermill kebeb platter,Murgh Malai Tikka and Tandoori Chicken. The Kebab platter was good for three and worth the 75 dhs spent.
Malai Jhinga was the star of the platter followed by the seekh kebab, which was soft and juicy. The Murgh malai tikka was perfect just as the lassoni murgh, served. The tandoori Chicken was a put down as it lacked flavour and spices. Very ordinary.
For Mains, we turned Veg (Don’t stare, we occasionally do that 😅) Kadai Paneer and Khumb Malai TakaTak were outstandingly delicious. The paneer was soft,melt in mouth kind! Loved the gravies totally and these acted just like a perfect newly wed bride alongside our rotis! The Paneer and potato parathas were my all-time favs, but the chilli cheese naan – My new found Love! 😍
Strolling through the menu effortlessly, a picture striked us! Shahi Tukda – The bestest bestest choice of the day! How I would love to eat them every single day! The famous Hyderabadi dessert were the bread pieces are deep fried in ghee until crispy and then topped with creamy rabri. Most of the times the bread , by the time it reaches the table, becomes soggy and uninviting. This one was top-notch! The pista kulfi icecream sandwiched between the crisp golden breads drizzled with rabdi and supported by the pistachio crumble. Oh Man!! Stupendofantabulously Droolicious!💗💕

In my ten years in UAE, this is my 2nd time to eat in an Indian Restaurant, 1st time in Peppermill.
Place: it’s winter time so the location is such a perfect spot to dine. Al fresco and the mangroves view are great combo.
Food: i’m not a super duper fan of indian food but I somehow lived with it already (well pretty obvious here in middle east), it was easy to love the food. The peppermill chaat platter is so heavenly good! Thr prawn biryani is bit pricey and spicy but worthy!
Price: i think it just normal price of an indian resto. Just one thought for you guys. Never compare the price of an indian resto with indian fastfood (those on the streets).
Staff: they are very accommodating and since we are non Indian and not familiar with their food, the staff was so patient and suggestive in what is the right pair for such food.
Love it here. We’ll definitely go back!

1- tried the Lamb Chaap: absolutely delicious not a big fan of chaap but definitely loved it at Peppermill and if you’re ordering make sure you tell them to make it spicy tastes yummy
2- tried the Spicy Biryani: must say one of the best biryani in town, it was spicy, tasty and tasty and even tastier must try

The restaurant has a wonderful ambience when seated outside. The food was tasty and staff was very friendly and accommodate to our requests. Our waiter Mr Deepak even helped us avail an offer on the bill. His service and interactions were top notch. Aloo tiki was good!

There Were Also Garlic Naan And Roshmali Roti. And Now For Dessert The SHAHI TUKDA! This Beautiful, Yellow, Chilly, Dessert With Malai Kulfi Ice Cream And Syrup With Break And Dried Nuts Is Definitely A Try!
